Two weeks had passed since Grogar ultimate demise. The heroes, for the most part, returned to their normal life. Sunset volunteered to bring the ex-villains, Cosmos, Discord, Eris, Sombra, Tirek, Stygian, the Sirens, Sunny Flame, Moonlight Frost and Chrysalis to Twilight to be sentenced for their crimes. Luckily, Twilight was feeling merciful and only sentenced them to be banished, never to come again, from Equestria, but not before forcing Sombra, Tirek and Chrysalis to make amends with their enemies. As such, Sombra and Chrysalis went to the Crystal Empire to get princess Cadence and King Thorax’s pardon while Tirek returned to his homeland to face his family. Cadence was not to thrilled to see Chrysalis again and it was only because of Twilight that she held back her desire to kill the fallen queen.

“Twilight is the only reason why you’re still alive, Chrysalis...” said Cadence. “Otherwise, i would kill you right where you stand...As for you, Sombra, i’m also not thrilled to see you again. Are you really there to get my pardon?”

“Her, probably not...” said Sombra, with a grin. “Believe me, she hate you as much as you hate her...But me, i’m willing to do the right thing, for Radiant Hope, my only friend...”

Cadence looked in his eyes and despite the Umbral energy emanating from them, she could see the stare of a man wanting to repent, to change his ways.

“Very well, Sombra...I, princess Cadence, ruler of the Crystal Empire, pardon you...” she said. “You’re hereby pardonned from all the crimes against my kingdom. As for you, Chrysalis, you’ll have to get only Thorax’s pardon, not mine, since i’ll never forgive you for killing my previous husband, Shining Armor...”

Chrysalis stared at Thorax with annoyed eyes, then sighed.

“Alright...I better get this off my chest right now...” she said.

She hugged Thorax, like a mother hug her son.

“The truth is, i’m proud of you, Thorax.” she said. “Despite of what you did, i’m your mother, and i can’t stay mad at you, not even for betraying me. So, take care of yourself and of all my childrens...”

“You don’t know how much i wanted to hear you say this, mother.” said Thorax. “I’m glad that you still like your childrens, no matter how much they changed...And i know you were sincere...did you notice about your wings?”

“My wings?” she asked.

They were blue instead of green.

“That show me that you bonded with someone” he said. “Did you noticed that you didn’t crave for love anymore?”

“I did” she answered. “Wait, don’t tell me i’m gonna turn into a colorful, hippie-loving Changeling!!”

“You still have a long way to go before you transform...” said Thorax. “But at least, i know you changed...So, i, Thorax, King of the Changelings, give you my pardon.”

Chrysalis looked at Cadence.

“For what it’s worth, i’m sorry for what i’ve done, princess” she said. “The least i can do is let you punish me for what i’ve done. So, go on...Blast me to kingdom come, humiliate me in front of your subjects, have your ways with me...”

Cadence walked toward her, her horn glowing brightly. At everyone’s surprise, but mostly Chrysalis’, Cadence hugged her. With Sombra and Chrysalis forgiven for their actions, it was now Tirek’s turn to seek pardon from his kind. And spoiler alert, the processus was quite heated. His brother and Mother forgave him quickly, but his father, Vorak, was another story. Tirek had to prove his resolution by enduring the most terrible punishment in the Centaur Kingdom: Singing and dancing in front of the whole kingdom, wearing a dress. He went through it, of course, and got his father’s pardon, who, let’s say, had been laughing his lungs out during the performance. This being over with, they returned on the Earth Dimension and went to live a normal life...until a week later, Moonlight called Tirek, Chrysalis, Stygian, Sombra, Sunny Flame and Sunlight Blaze to meet him at Canterlot Cafe.

“Why did you called the 6 of us here?” asked Chrysalis. “And why us specifically?”

“Sit, i got something to tell you...” answered Moonlight.

The group took a seat and ordered something. When they where all served, Moonlight started talking.

“I called you here because i’m building a team of ex-supervillains” said Moonlight. “A few days ago, Cosmos informed me that a draconequus was causing trouble in other worlds. His name is Calypso, and apparently, he dispose of a team of 7 individual called the 7 Princesses of Calamity. Each of them is currently causing trouble in different worlds.”

“Well, count me in already!” said Sunny.

“Do we know who those 7 princes of Calamity are?” asked Sunlight Blaze. “And also, where are they?”

“We don’t know their identities, but we have an idea of the worlds they’re currently in.” answered Moonlight.

“I’m calling it...those 7 evil princesses are evil versions of Sunset and her friends...” said Stygian. “Corrupted by Calypso himself...”

“They might also be alternative versions of us” said Chrysalis. “Maybe another Chrysalis with a fancy title like Empress and with Alicorn-level power to boot.”

“Or completely original characters...” said Sunny.

“Why us though?” asked Sombra. “Why not Sunset and her friends?”

“We all did terrible things, me first” answered Moonlight. “We need to answer for our actions and what’s better than a little quest to redeem ourselves. Beside, none of you can refuse...it’s that or being sent to the Limbos by Twilight herself. Discord was able to pinpoint the 7 Princes locations. Now, we can fight them one by one as a team or fight them individually.”

“Defeating them one by one would be easier if we do it as a team...” said Sunny.

“But that would put the other worlds at risk of being destroyed the more time we spend on fighting them one at a time...” said Stygian.

“Then, i suppose if we’re going to split up across different dimensions, we might as well team up with the locals to defeat the threat at hand.” Proposed Sunlight.

“You’re perfectly right” said Moonlight. “Now, there’s no idea where each of us are going.”

Discord showed up out of nowhere.

“Oh, i should mention that each universe has it’s own set of rules.” He said. “What pass as magic in Equestria might pass as something entirely different in another dimension. So your abilities and power won’t work the same they do here.”

“Good thing i don’t rely on magic...” said Sunlight. Did you guys brought the weapons i gave you? They might save your life.”

The group showed their weapons to him.

“Have everyone said goodbye to their loved ones?” Asked Discord

“Excluding Sunny, none of us have loved ones to wait for our return.” Said Chrysalis.

Sunset showed up. She seemed exhausted, probably from running from her house all the way here.

“Did i heard that right!?” She asked. “You guys are leaving already?”

“Order of princess Twilight, sorry, sweetheart” answered Sunny, saddened.

Moonlight looked at the two of them.

“I guess i should tell you...” he said. “You’re not forced to come with us, sis. I...negociated with Twilight and took the entire responsability for both of our crimes combined.”

“You still need a seventh member, right?” asked Sunny, looking disappointed.

“I already came with a replacement for you” said Moonlight. “Bring him, Discord.”

A silhouette showed up from a portal that Discord created. The individual revealed itself, shocking Sunny.

“Nightmare?! Said Sunny, consterned. Have you lost your mind?”

“He’s not Nightmare anymore...” said Moonlight. “I used the magic of your Elements of Harmony to change his heart. Like Luna, he can enter other being’s dreams but he can also bring bring elements from those dream realm back to the real world. If he wanted, he could take on the form of your worst nightmare, your idol or someone close to you.”

“I think she got the point” said the concerned one. “I am Dreamcaster, by the way”

“I’m sorry” said Moonlight. “But it seem that for the first time, you and i won’t walk the same path...Take care of your daughter and enjoy your new life...Sunset, take care of yourself...”

“Of course, Uncle.” she answered. “You better come back when this is all over, got me?”

“I’ll try!!” Said Moonlight, cracking a smile.”Alright, gang, all ready to go?”

They all nodded affirmatively. Sunlight handed each of them a pocket portal each with different coordinates. They activated it and went through the portals. Moonlight looked one last time at Sunny and smiled.

Despite the prologue, it's not certain if i'm gonna start a new story. Probably not in a near future, at least. I might not come back to the site, and if i do, it might be in a long while.
