Another day at Canterlot High as Courage was walking through the halls and talking to Flash. "I still can't believe that someone from the museum gave you a Yo-kai Watch." He mentioned before he pulled out his yo-kai watch. "Although both of our watches are different as the wisps on them are a different color."

"Yeah, and I still don't know where the girl from the museum was who gave this to me." Flash mentioned. "I tried to go back and ask her about it, but knowing at the museum even knew her at all."

"Perhaps she was just a figment of our imagination." Whisper said as he floated around the two.

"You do know that makes no sense, Whisper." Flash mentioned with a look before he looked at Courage. "But she didn't look like that girl you saved when you were a kid back in Japan."

"It is a little weird." Courage replied before they noticed Twilight getting along with the Rainbooms. They even noticed Spike in her backpack with Uniyan standing next to her. "Well, it looks like Twilight has adjusted well to her transfer here."

"And with Uniyan helping her through it after the Friendship Games." Whisper mentioned which only got him a hard hit from both Flash and Courage that sent him flying through the walls.

"Was that really necessary?" A familiar voice asked before Courage and Flash looked to see Zero Kage hanging upside down from the ceiling.

"Kage, what are you doing here? Flash asked with confusion. "I thought you and Yuma were spending some personal time together."

"We did, now she's spending time with Blizzaria and Little Charrmer together, a little girl time they said." Kage told them as he dropped down. "Besides, I wanted to see how you are during non-yokai things." Soon after, the phones of theirs and Twilight's suddenly beeped as they took them out and saw that their website got an alert.

"Huh, looks like someone wants to meet with us in the park later." Courage mentioned. "Someone that goes by the name of Sunny Flare?"

"She's one of the girls from Crystal Prep, and by the looks of her message, she might be really freaked out." Flash mentioned before Whisper floated over.

"You're telling me, seeing some skeleton from a mansion." He said while seeing the message on their phones. "Definitely something to be freaking out about if it dances at the doorway."

"Well, let's let her know that we'll meet her after school." Courage mentioned before the school bell rang. "We better get to class now." Soon as they headed to class they also made plans to head to the park after school.

Later, Sunny Flair was out in the park and sitting on a bench as she waited for the people from the website she heard about. She rubbed both her arms anxiously before she saw Flash, Twilight, and Courage walking up to her. "Hey, you messaged us on our website?" Courage asked her with a small smile.

"Wait, you three run that website?" She asked with a surprised tone.

"It's a long story about that." Twilight mentioned as she sat down next to Sunny. "So how is Crystal Prep?"

"It's good, Principal Cinch got fired because she tried to tell the school board about what happened at the Friendship Games because they thought she was crazy." Sunny replied. "So, Cadance is principal now."

"Boy, just imagine what they would do to her if she remembered Yokai were real and stuff." Whisper mentioned as he hovered above Sunny's head.

"But I really need help about what happened to me…" Sunny said with a slight fear in her tone.

"What happened?" Flash asked her.

"You see, a couple of nights ago I was going for a jog when I passed by the old mansion down on West-burner Street." Sunny started to explain.

"You mean, the Skel-Mansion?" Flash asked as he and Twilight looked shocked.

"Skel-What kind of mansion?" Courage asked with confusion.

"Oh right, you wouldn't know about it." Flash said before he took a deep breath. "Well Skel-Mansion is supposedly one of the Seven Wonders Mysteries around here. The Mansion belonged to a young woman who was a Noble girl. The girl was different from others as she had more though in helping the poor. One day the girl met a beggar who was a young boy who was trying to steal a necklace from her home. Instead of turning him in, The girl helped him by giving him the necklace. Taken back from the girls hospitality the boy had thought to be tricked but didn't as he was surprised. From there the boy was given a chance as the girl wanted to help him be better so she took him in the castle. The boy grew up with teg girl as he became a butler of the house. But one day the girl had an urgent message from a high council and had to leave the boy behind who waited as she told him that she'll be back."

"But she never did." Twilight continued with a sad look. "He waited and waited day and night. Even years as the girl never came back. The house began to go rusty and the place had become empty. The spirit of the boy had always waited for his master to come back as he was still waiting for her."

"B-But when I came across the mansion, I saw the skeletal remains of the boy and he was calling out to me." Sunny mentioned with a slight shiver. "It moaned out 'don't leave me, Sonia', which I'm guessing was the Noble girl that once lived there."

"That definitely sounds very scary." Courage mentioned as he rested his hands behind his head. "And I'm guessing no one's been able to tear the place down for a while."

"People try to tear it down, but they always end up being scared away by haunting spirits." Flash explained. "Construction machines stopped working, not even explosions or fire could bring the place down." He then did a double take at Courage when he noticed him having a grin on his face. "Oh boy, you're thinking what I think you're thinking, aren't you?"

"Please tell me he isn't." Twilight pleaded, which confused Sunny.

"What, what is he thinking?" She asked as Courage gave a small tug on his jacket.

"We're gonna solve one of the Seven Wonders tonight." Courage said with a confident grin.

Later that night, Courage was seen walking down the street with Dragysuu resting on his shoulder and Jibanyan walking beside him. "Remind me why you're bringing me along?" Jibanyan asked before he let out a tired yawn. "I was having such a nice nap at your HQ."

"Think of this as training for you." Courage replied. "You said you wanted to be the first cat to ever beat a truck, so solving a mystery such as this could be a very good start for you."

"It could even be a good break for you from all the training you were getting." Whisper added as he floated overhead. "But do you honestly think it's a Yokai keeping that mansion up?"

"Well if nothing else brings it down, it's got to be a Yokai." Courage replied. "How would you explain the skeleton and the doorway Sunny saw?"

"Is that why you suggested bringing her along?" Dragysuu asked.

"Call it a hunch, but I think there's a connection between her and this mansion if a skeleton showed itself to her." Courage then saw the Mansion up ahead with flash, Twilight, and sunny standing outside, along with Kage and Uniyan with them. "Hey, you guys actually showed up."

"Well, we thought it was pretty crazy of you to try and do this on your own." Flash mentioned with a shrug. "Besides, we're a team and we support each other."

"But I still am not on board with me coming along." Sunny mentioned as she stared at the mansion with an uneasy look. "I get these chills every time I see this place."

"It's okay, Sunny, as long as we stick together, we'll be alright." Courage told her before he marched right up to the front door. The others followed behind him before he opened the door and entered the mansion. They entered the foyer as they looked around and could already see that it was covered in a dark purple mist. "Well this feels familiar."

"Yeah, like at the Friendship Games." Twilight mentioned as she adjusted her glasses.

"What do you mean by-WHAT THE HECK ARE THOSE?!" Sunny exclaimed as she pointed at the Yokai next to them, which surprised them and the three Yokai detectives.

"Wait, you can see us nyow?!" Jibanyan asked in shock.

"But how is that possible?" Kage questioned as Twilight looked around again before I thought came to her.

"Whisper, can I see your tablet for a moment? She asked as Whisper complied and gave her his Yokai tablet.

"Why do you need that?" Whisper asked as Twilight was typing something in.

"I knew it…" She spoke before she looked at the others. "Guys, we're in a Dread Time Zone. According to this, whenever a Yokai is engulfed by too much dark energy and is in a place such as a mansion, for example, the dark Yokai energy lingers, creating a zone that is similar to a Dread Time."

"Well, I could have told you that without the tablet." Whisper said with a shrug as Twilight rolled her eyes.

"So a Yokai is behind all of this." Courage mentioned before he looked around. "The question is where is it?" He and Flash held up their watches and turned the rings so the Y is facing downwards to activate their searchlight. They then carefully move through the mansion as Flash and Courage continued to shine the lights around for any sign of Yokai.

"S-So, Yokai have been real this whole time?" Sunny asked as they looked around.

"Basically, yeah." Courage replied before he looked at her with a smile. "But Yokai can be friendly once you get to know them."

"Yeah, we can even be friends with humans." Dragysuu added as none of them noticed something quickly moved behind them. Kage quickly turned around when he sensed something, but saw nothing. "Sometimes we cause a little mischief, unexplained occurrences happen every day because of us Yokai, but hey that's how we roll."

"Okay…" Sunny muttered before she looked at Twilight. "So… what did you mean by the same as the Friendship Games because I don't remember anything like this happening."

"That's… kind of hard to explain." Twilight replied as she looked to the side. Just then they heard some sort of noise coming from upstairs, which sounded like a big bump. "What was that?"

"Only one way to find out!" Courage declared before he charged up the stairs.

"Courage, wait!" Flash called out as he and the others went after him.

They soon made it upstairs as they followed the sound down a hallway. Soon Courage came to a stop and quickly opened a door to where they heard the sound, only to find it to be a playroom with a few old toys lying about. "Huh, that was anticlimactic." Courage said with a bit of disappointment just as the others caught up to him.

"Oh my, someone really needed to pick up after themselves. Whisper said as he floated over to a ball and picked it up. "Whoever the noble girl was, she really liked to play. She and the boy must have had really fun times together." He said as he bounced the ball around.

"This just makes me wonder who this girl was." Sunny mentioned before she noticed a picture frame on a dresser was planted face down. She picked up the picture frame and saw a picture of a little boy next to a little girl in it, only the girl in the picture had her face blurred. "Hey guys, I think this may be the boy haunting this place." She told the group as she showed the picture. "But I can't tell who the girl is."

"Maybe it faded overtime." Jibanyan said as he shrugged before letting out a yawn.

"Will you play with me?" They heard a young yet eerie voice call out from everywhere, which made Jibanyan jump a little and Whisper flung up the ball in front before it came down and hit his head. The group looked around and searched for the source of the voice before they felt the floor begin to shake.

"What's happening now?!" Twilight questioned before a trapdoor opened up under each of them and they started to fall through. Whisper tried to fly off before I hand grabbed hold of him and pulled him down the trap door. The group soon started sliding down a series of slides that went many different ways just as twists and turns, as well as some loop de loops. They all screamed as they slid down before they were tossed in the air and fell into some tubes.

Inside a library, a bookshelf split open as Flash and Whisper was sent flying and crashed into some sets of armor.

Twilight and Jibanyan fell through a hole on the ceiling and landed in the middle of what looked to be a library.

Courage, Uniyan, and Kage came out of a hole in the wall as they landed in a ball room.

Both Sunny and Dragysuu landed on some pillows as they seem to be in some sort of study. "Well, that was an interesting ride." Dragysuu groaned as she was still a bit dizzy from the sudden ride they had.

"You can say that again…" Sunny said as she rubbed her head before she noticed where they were. "Are we in some sort of study?"

Twilight stood up and looked around the library she and Jibanyan are in while he cleaned up one of the shelves. "This place looks bigger than it is, because I can see like multiple bookshelves!" He told Twilight.

"I like to read books as much as the next girl, but this is a bit much even for me." Twilight mentioned after seeing the many rows and rows of books.

Flash rubbed his head in pain after crashing into some armor while Whisper was struggling to get a helmet off of his head. "Could have had a softer landing." He said before he noticed that they were in a room filled with different suits of armor. "Are we in some sort of armory? Why would a mansion have something like this?"

"I could use some help here!!" Whisper called out as he was pulling on the helmet.

Meanwhile, Courage looked around the ballroom as he had a confused look on his face. "I never understood why they called this place a ballroom." He mentioned as Uniyan was sliding across the floor.

"Although the floor is nice and slippery for some fun." She mentioned while Kage looked around with a suspicious look.

"I don't believe it's the right time to let down our guard." He told the two as none of them noticed one of the paintings was glowing in a purple aura.

Back in the study, Sunny and Dragysuu was looking around as there are many books and notes lying about, along with a few relics that seem to be from ancient Japan. "Whoever lived here really liked Japanese stuff." Dragysuu mentioned as Sunny picked up one of the books and opened it up. She then flipped through the pages as she saw strange creatures on each page before she stopped on one that caught her attention.

She saw what looked to be a watch with many different Japanese symbols written on it as it almost looked similar to the one Flash and Courage are wearing. "Hey Dragy-thing, come look at this." She called over.

"It's Dragysuu." She corrected before she came over and saw the watch in the book. "Whoa, that kind of looks like the Yokai Watch…but very old. Did the people who were living here study yo-kai or something?" Just then, a ball was seen thrown right towards Sunny which completely made the two jump before she caught it.

"Wh-Who threw this?!" She asked as they quickly looked around the room and saw nothing. The two of them looked frantically around the room for whoever threw the ball until they saw a small little boy with light blue skin, dark blue hair, and wearing a navy blue sweater vest as he had a smile on his face.

"Let's play together." The boy said with a cheerful tone.

In the mansion's library, Twilight and Jibanyan were walking through the room as they tried to look for the exit. "This place is like a maze." Jibanyan complained. "How are we gonna find the way out?"

"Not sure, but these books on the shelves look like they're from different parts of the world." Twilight mentioned as she noticed each books' spine had a different language written on each of them. "Maybe whoever lived here was an explorer and an archaeologist." She stopped when she noticed one of the books had the words 'Yokai World' written on it. Her curiosity grew as she reached for the book, but suddenly the book was engulfed in a dark aura.

She stepped back as the books suddenly flew off of the shelves and the pages of each book started to turn into teeth as they flew around. Jibanyan and Twilight quickly started to run as the books started chasing them. "What's going on?!" Jibanyan exclaimed as he hoped when one book tried to bite one of his tails.

"No idea, but I'm guessing that the Yokai holding this place does not want us around!" Twilight replied as they both continued running before turning a corner and running away from more books. "I really wish I had my own yo-kai watch so I can call for--" She stopped herself when she realized something. "I still have my phone with me, so I can call Flash and Courage!" She quickly pulled it out and pulled in a group call as she dialed in both Flash and Courage.

Meanwhile in the armory, Flash was dodging a bunch of swords from walking suits of armor covered in a dark aura as his feet were covered in Yokai energy. Whisper on the other hand, was flying around frantically while narrowly dodging the swords swung by the suits of armor. "I think I prefer them when they aren't trying to kill us!" Whisper exclaimed as Flash clenched his fist before Yokai energy covered it and punched one of the suits of armor.

The armor fell apart as the dark aura went away like a puff of smoke before a Flash quickly picked up the sword. "News flash, Whisper, you're already dead!" He pointed out before clashing swords with the suits of armor. He continued to fight off the suits of armor before he heard his phone ring and quickly pulled it out and saw it was Twilight it was calling him and Courage. "Good, she's still alive!" He said before he answered the call.

In the ballroom, Courage, Kage, and Uniyan were dodging a bunch of floating paintings that were hanging around the room. Courage used his Yokai power to punch one of the paintings while Kage used his katana to slice a few more down. Uniyan was holding Courage's phone as she had it on a speaker while they were having a conversation with Twilight and Flash. "We're being attacked as well, but by paintings!" She shouted before she jumped out of the way when one of the paintings tried to attack her before Kage slashed through it.

"Whoever is doing this, really doesn't want us here!" Courage called out before leaping over one of the paintings and seeing the way out. "We need to get out, find Sunny and Dragysuu, and find out what this yokai wants!"

"Easier said than done for you guys!" Twilight exclaimed as a book nearly bit her head off if she had not ducked down.

"Hang in there, Twi!" Jibanyan called out as he leaped towards the books. "Paws of Fury!!" He started punching each book away with every bit of his strength as each one was sent flying back. He then punched the last one before leaping back and following Twilight. "I think my training with both Kage and Dragysuu is really paying off!"

"Good work, Jibanyan!" Twilight complimented before they turned a corner and saw a door up ahead. "Guys, I think we found an exit!"

"Agree!!!" The others on the phone shouted in unison as both Twilight and Jibanyan made a break for the door. A bunch of books were right on their tail as they were getting closer to the exit. Both of them soon leaped right towards the doors and burst right through it. They then quickly closed it to stop the books from following them before they took a breather.

Flash focused as he poured his Yokai power into the sword he was holding and slashed through the remaining suits of armor before he and Whisper quickly made their way towards the exit door.

Courage, Kage, and Uniyan started heading for the exit before a bunch of paintings blocked their way. Kage and Uniyan looked and nodded to each other before they leaped forward and used their own special attacks against the paintings. "Horn Jab!" Uniyan shouted as she thrusted her head back and forth.

"Fox Katana Moon Slash!" Kage declared as he swung his sword and the two of them destroyed the remaining paintings before bursting through the door with Courage. They all took a moment to catch their breath as they were relieved to make it out alive.

"Okay…we made it out, but we don't know where Sunny and Dragysuu are." Courage mentioned before he took his phone back from Uniyan. "Where are you guys?"

"I'm in a hallway with Whisper, and by the looks of it, we're near the Fourier." Flash answered.

"Me and Jibanyan seem to be in the basement." Twilight answered next. "Now the question is where is Sunny and Dragysuu? Courage, try something Dragysuu, maybe she can tell us where they landed."

"Good idea, Twi." Courage then pulled out Dragysuu's Yo-Kai Medal. "Let's meet up in the Maine Lobby so we can all know where Sunny is." The others on the phone agreed as they all headed in the same location.

Meanwhile at the study, Sunny and Dragysuu were still staring at the small boy with confusion before Sunny looked at the ball in her hands. "I-I…who are you?" Sunny asked, only for the boy to let out a small laugh.

"You were always so funny, Sonia." The boy said with an amusing tone. "I really missed you, but why did you run away before?"

"He's talking to you like he knows you or something." Dragysuu whispered to Sunny. "Maybe it has something to do with that photo we found in the--" She was cut off when her body glowed and she suddenly vanished.

"W-Where'd she go?" Sunny asked when Dragysuu vanished.

"Now that we're alone, we can play together like we used to." The boy said before he held his arms out like he was ready to catch something. "Come on, throw the ball back Sonia."

"My name isn't Sonia, it's Sunny Flare." She corrected the boy.

"Come on, you can't fool me." The boy said before he pulled out a photo from his pocket. "You mean look a bit older, but you look like you used to when you lived here." Sunny picked up the picture and looked at it as she was shocked to see who was in the picture. It was the same picture that was found in the playroom, but this time the image of the girl was clear as she looked exactly like Sunny.

"Grandma Sonia Song?!" She exclaimed in shock. "My great-great-great-grandmother?! So that's the girl that never came back, and I think I know why."

"What are you talking about, Sonia?" The boy asked as Sunny looked at him with a sincere, yet sorrowful look.

"Look, I'm not the same girl you befriended years ago, I'm her granddaughter." Sunny told the boy with a soft tone. "You see, my grandmother isn't around because something bad happened years ago when she was my age and--" Just before she could finish, the door to the room she was in burst open as Courage and Flash used their Yokai power to break it down. "Guys!"

"Sunny, so glad you're alright!" Twilight said with relief as the other Yokai joined the group.

"Is that the ghost boy?!" Courage questioned as he pointed at the boy in the room. "Why did you stick us in separate rooms and try to kill us with a bunch of paintings, books, and suits of armor?!"

"Wait, you did what to them?!" Sunny asked the boy before they noticed a dark aura covering the boy.

"I had too many taking my best friend away from me before, but I won't let it happen again…" The boy growled with anger as he glared at the Yokai detectives. "I've been alone for too long…BUT NO MORE!!!" The boy shouted as the dark aura turned into black flames that covered his body. Soon he transformed into the skeleton Sunny saw before the flames started to spread.

"I believe that's our cue to start RUNNING!!!" Whisper exclaimed as he was the first one out of the room before the others started following. They continued to run while the dark flames continued to spread while it was catching up to them. Sunny nearly tripped if Courage had not caught her and took her by the hand as they continued to run.

Just as they were about to reach the front door, a skeleton hand grabbed Sunny and pulled her back while pushing Courage out of the mansion. Courage fell to the ground before they all looked at the mansion as it was engulfed in black flames. Soon the flames grew bigger as giant skeleton hands emerged from the flames before a change that held Sunny emerged from the flames as well. Soon a giant skeleton head emerged from the top of the mansion and let out an earth-shaking roar as the entire area was covered in a dark mist.

"Looks like the Dread Time just spread it out!" Twilight said with a worried tone. "And this is going to be tougher than before!"

"Then we're going to need some back-up!" Flash suggested as he pulled out a Yokai medal with an image of Blizzaria on it. "Luckily Blizzaria gave us her medal just in case."

"Then we better summon her and fast!" Courage told him as he and the other Yokai, minus Whisper, stood their ground, ready for a fight.

"Right. Come on out my friend!" Flash exclaimed before he tossed the medal up into the air. "Calling Blizzaria!" Whisper noticed that when Flash caught the medal, it was on one side which made him very nervous.

"Flash wait!!" He called out.

"Yo-kai medal, do your thing!" With one Swift motion, he inserted the metal into his Yokai Watch as it lit up.

Summoning Charming, Shadowside!

"Shado-what?" Flash asked with confusion as a bright light emerged from the watch. The shadow behind him soon extended out as a pair of menacing eyes opened up from the shadow before something rose up from the shadow. Soon Blizzaria appeared, only she looked completely different. The sleeves and rims of her kimono become longer, and fan outwards, with the former gaining a snowflake pattern. Her hair, as well as her comb's prongs, become longer, too.

Her neckline becomes slightly more open, and her chest appears to be covered with frost. Additionally, her eyes become completely white, with no pupils. "Be frozen by my icy breath." She spoke with a tone that would send a shiver down anyone's spine.

"B-Blizzaria?" Flash asked with a nervous tone after seeing her in this completely different form.

"Who else would I be?" Blizzaria asked rhetorically. "I'm Blizzaria, your good friend and here to help you in this little battle of yours."

"B-But you look different…" Twilight pointed out.

"We'll talk about her new look later, right now we need to take care of this right away!" Courage called out as he pulled out Bahamut's medal. "Come on out my friend! Calling Bahamut! Yokai medal, do your thing!" With one swift motion, he inserted the medal into his watch as it lit up.

♪Gruff stuff! Rough bluff! Red ban, jacket stand, bling blang, Tough!~♪

"Bahamut!" He announced before landing in front of the group. "Looks like you have a big problem on your hands. Allow me to assist you."

"Thanks, Bahamut." Courage thanks before he looked at flash. "Ready to transform?!"

"Always!" Flash replied as they both pulled out their Yo-kai hero medals.

"Yo-kai hero medal, henshin!" They both shouted as in one swift motion they inserted their medals into their watches.

Crimson Knight!
Shinobi Moon!

Soon they turned the ring so that the Y was facing upwards before Dragysuu and Kage soon merged with their partners and they transformed into their Yo-Kai hero forms. "I may have the flames in my hands, but I'm cool headed when in battle!" Crimson Knight declared as he slashed his sword around before resting it on his shoulder.

"My Blade is sharp, as I'll cut down the evil soul!" Shinobi Moon declared as he did a ninja pose. Send the two Yo-Kai Heroes charged forward with the four Yo-Kai following behind them. The giant skeleton swung its giant hand right at them before they jumped out of the way as both Jibanyan and Uniyan were seen flying towards the skull.

"Take this, Paws of Fury!" Jibanyan declared as he started thrusting his fists right at the skull. But as he did his fist didn't do any impact but only made the skeleton mad as it tried to swat him away. "Ah! It's not working!"

"Horn Jab!" Uniyan called out her attack as she thrusted her horn rapidly at the skull. It roared before swiping them away just as Bahamut charged forward and slashed the left skeleton hand. Blizzaria saw the giant skeleton creating a fireball as he flung it right towards Twilight, so she quickly stood in front of her as she waved her arms around to create bicycles before combining them into a giant ice ball and throwing it right at the fireball to counter it.

Shinobi came from above as he used his sword and struck at the arms and then went for the legs but the damage wasn't enough as it stood still. "It's not enough! I have to find a weaker area!" He thought as he jumped up and went for another attack. The skeleton threw fire balls towards his direction but as they came Crimson came in time and took the attack as it didn't affect him much.

"You okay, partner!?" Crimson Knight asked.

"Always! But we need to find a weaker area to strike!" Shinobi Moon replied as he set up and ready to attack.

Twilight quickly noticed that Sunny Flare was still in the cage before she looked at Crimson Knight and Shinobi Moon. "Guys, we need to free Sunny before we can do anything else!" She called out as she pointed towards the cage.

"Then let's see if we can do something about it!" Crimson Knight declared before he swiftly inserted an Attack Medal into his watch.

Execute!

"Duplication!" He declared before he started doing cartwheels as multiple versions of himself started to appear and confuse the giant skeleton. It looked around frantically as it wondered which one was the real Crimson Knight. But as it was distracted, Shinobi Moon took the opportunity to quickly drop onto the cage and open it up.

"Are you okay?!" He asked when he carried her out. She nodded in response just as they landed next to Twilight and he sat Sunny down. The skeleton saw this and tried to reach for them, only to feel both its hands were frozen in place as it looked down and saw Blizzaria had done it. As soon as both its skeleton hands were frozen, Bahamut rushed in and slashed the frozen hand to destroy it while Jibanyan and Uniyan took care of the other one. Their attacks shattered the other hand into pieces.

With both its hands gone, Crimson Knight and Shinobi Moon quickly charged forward and drew out their swords. They then jumped high in the sky before delivering multiple slashes towards the neck of the skeleton. Soon the neck shattered into pieces as the skeleton head soon fell to the ground and struggled to even move. "Okay Knight and Shinobi, time to bring this to a close!" Blizzaria called out before he pulled out an attack medal.

"Right!" Crimson Knight pulled out his own Attack Medal before they both inserted them into their watches.

Execute!

"Fire Star Slash!" Crimson Knight declared as he drew out his sword and slashed his sword three times to create a six-pointed star.

"Fox Spirit Blade Strike!" Shinobi Moon declared as he drew out his katana before it was engulfed in blue flames. Soon a fox made out of those flames emerged from the blade before the two sent their attacks straight towards the giant skeleton. The combined attacks soon landed as the giant skeleton was engulfed in flames before its entire body burst into dark energy.

"Now to purify this soul!" Crimson Knight declared as he and Shinobi Moon turned the rings on their watches so the Y on their watches were facing right. Soon themes of light shot out from their watches and hit the soul. They both struggled to stand their ground but they stayed focused as the darkness was getting smaller before a beam of light shot up into the sky.

Soon they saw the little boy on his knees crying his eyes out in front of the mansion before Twilight noticed Sunny slowly approaching him. "Be careful." Twilight whispered as Sunny knelt down next to the boy.

"I know you must miss my grandmother, but there's something you should know about her." She spoke softly to the boy. "The day my grandmother left you was also the day she died. I was told that on the way back, there was an accident in the carriage she was in and she was badly wounded. They rushed her to a hospital, but it was too late, she was gone." The boy continued to cry as he still couldn't look up at Sunny. "I'm sorry that you couldn't see her again, he must have spent your entire life here and refused to leave."

"I-It's not fair…I just wanted to play with her again… I didn't want to be alone anymore." The boy weeped out.

"Look, I may look like her but I'm just her granddaughter." Sunny told the boy. "But, it doesn't mean that she's fully gone."

This caused the boy to stop crying as he looked towards her. "When I was young, I lost my mom back then as I didn't know much about her or who she was or looked like. I could never remember her face as well. Intent alone back then seeing all the other students mom's. But as I grew up, my dad told me that. 'When someone passes away it doesn't mean they're gone forever as they would always be with you no matter what.' After that, I didn't feel alone as I could feel she was with me even when I was down or felt alone I could feel she was with me there, to comfort me." She gently took his ghost hand into hers as she gave him a warm smile."And so is she, As she is out there waiting for you to come to her."

"B-But, I'm afraid. I'm afraid of what's out there." The boy muttered as he looked down.

"What is your name?" She asked

"...Kuro." He muttered softly.

"Kuro, That's a lovely name." She complimented him. "Listen Kuro, It's ok to be scared. But it doesn't mean that you let it hold you back. Even if your afraid, You just kept on going forward as you don't let the fear control you. And, you're stronger than you look so don't be afraid to move on." She said to him as she gave him a warm smile.

A smile he recognized all so well. "Thank you for helping my friend." They all heard a young girl's voice calling out, one none of them but Kuro recognized all too well. They then saw a ball of light floating towards them before it took the form of Sonia Song. "Hi Kuro." She greeted him with a warm smile.

"S-Sonia…?" Kuro asked in surprise.

"Grandmother?" Sunny asked with shock after seeing her.

"H-How is she here?" Twilight asked as Crimson Knight and Shinobi Moon transformed back to Courage and Flash while Blizzaria switched back to her Light Side form. Even the other Yokai were shocked by this sudden encounter as Sonia walked up to Sunny.

"My granddaughter, you look just as pretty as I am." She said with a proud smile.

"G-Grandmother, I-I…" Sunny couldn't find the words to say before Sonia gave her a warm hug.

"It's okay to be speechless when you see a dead relative." She told Sunny with a warm tone. "And I have to say that I am proud of the young woman you've become." Sunny started to tear up before she hugged Sonia back.

Soon they broke that hung as Sonia looked back at Kuro. "And Kuro, I'm really glad that you waited here for me but now it's time to move on." She reached out a hand to her. "Our families are waiting for us, and I'm really sure that your mother would love to see you again after so long."

"Sonia…" Kuro said with a smile and tears running down his cheek before taking her hand. An energy started to flow around them before they started to flow into Courage and Flash's yo-kai watch. Soon a few medals suddenly popped out of both of their watches. There were three Attack Medals, two medas that had yellow on one half of them while the other half was light blue with a skeleton hand on them engulfed in flames, but one metal was gold as it had the mansion and a skeleton on it colored in black and covered in glitter.

"Oh, and before I forget, I was asked to deliver a couple of messages by the one who brought me here to get Kuro." Sonia mentioned as she looked at the Yo-Kai Detectives. "She says congratulations on solving two of the Seven Wonder Mysteries as she wishes you luck on solving the other five. She also says to keep hold of those two mystery medals that you've earned."

"Mystery medals?" Courage repeated before he pulled out the medal he got before that had an image of Bahamut on it in front of the museum and compared it to the mystery medal they just got.

"And to Twilight, the special power that sleeps within you won't awaken if you still hold the fear of the past inside your heart." Sonia said when she looked at Twilight.

"What…what do you--" Twilight tried to ask before a bright light blinded them. When the light died down, the Dark Mist that covered the area was gone, as well as both Sonia and Kuro well at the damage done to the mansion was gone. "They're gone…"

"And our watches didn't even have to use the reset function to repair the damage done." Courage pointed out while looking at his watch.

"Hey, where did those Yokai that were with you guys go?" Sunny asked when she noticed that she couldn't see the Yokai anymore.

"Uh, that's complicated to explain." Flash mentioned as they were still with them, they were just invisible to her. However, none of them noticed a bit of energy blowing into Sunny as she could suddenly see body shapes of the Yokai with them. She wondered how she was able to see them before she realized it was her grandmother who must have left her some energy to barely see the Yokai.

"Well, thanks for helping me out." She told the group before she waved as she started walking away. "I'll see you later."

"Wait, Sunny, are you going to tell people what happened tonight?" Twilight asked her.

"Even if I did, I doubt anybody would believe me." Sunny replied with a warm smile before she left.

"Anyone else think that was a bit weird?" Jibanyan asked the group.

"At least we solved a mystery." Uniyan pointed out.

"I'm much more curious about the message given to us." Whisper mentioned as he rubbed his chin.

"And I wonder what she meant when she said something about the fear in my heart?" Twilight mentioned.

"I say we figure that out tomorrow." Blizzaria said before she let out a slight yawn. "It is very late after all." The group agreed as they all decided to head home, but courage couldn't help but wonder who sent the messages as he was looking at the two Mystery Medals in his hands.

However, the girl Courage had saved years ago and who was at the museum before was on top of the mansion as she looked down with a smile on her face. "You know it's getting harder and harder to keep you covered." A female voice spoke from behind her. She turned around and saw two figures standing before her.

One was a tall light green man wearing a dark green vest with the Japanese symbol for wind on the back and no shirt. He also wore lime green pants that went down to his feet which had wooden sandals on.

The second was a pitch black woman her age that was wearing a necklace that had a crystal in the shape of the Japanese symbol for darkness. The woman also wore a skirt that is dark purple while she also wears a light purple top with a few night blue stripes going down. "It's going to be found sooner or later." She told the woman in white.

"No, but all we have to do is make it look like it resolved itself, just as Lord Emma instructed." She replied with a smile.

"If he finds out that we gave them a completely new Yo-Kai Watch, they'll be in very grave danger." The man in green pointed out with a look.

"He may have taken the throne from Lord Emma, but he's not the king of all Yokai and we know it." The woman told the two. "For now, we just have to make it so he doesn't notice. Right now I have another Yo-Kai Watch being made and hopefully it'll be ready the moment she unlocks her power." The two people looked away for a bit before a gust of wind circled around the man while Darkness covered the woman. Soon both of them disappeared just as a flash of light made the woman in white disappear.
