Failure, it's a natural process of life isn't it? You fail, you learn, and adjust.
If you fail try a second time, learn and improve upon yourself or your planning then try a different tactic.
And if that fails, I suggest you rethink your life situation. Or the plan all altogether, because not many people fail that hard.
Well, for the Combine there are no second or third chances. It's one and done, see those who fail in their assignments, there were several ways you could be punished if you weren't killed in action, and were indeed still alive.
One, they starve you. Sounds bad right? Well out of the other choices, this is the most 'forgiving' in their eyes.
Two, they torture you. This is considered a slap on the wrist if you're lucky.
Three, you're memories are removed. And they wipe the slate clean.
Or four, temporary or even Permanent off-world relocation.
This punishment is reserved for those who screwed up, big time. You would never see your friends, or loved ones ever again planet Earth included. Well if you even remembered them in the first place,
And you could guess which one 'Echo-1' obtained
The only way he could be redeemed, in the eyes of these synthetic bastards was to send him to a galaxy far, far away. Ripe for the taking,
Thanks to whatever god or deity above, Echo-1's group wasn't deployed to secure a forward operating post. That stunt alone cost up to medium to high casualties, not that the combine cared.
Needless to say, Echo-1 was forced into doing grueling and difficult work.

Before you even read four things you all need to know.
I do not own half-life or value.
I do not own Hasbro or MLP.
And I don't own Bethesda or Fallout
I am not the original creator of Fallout Equestria, that would be 'Kkat' on Fimfiction!
I also do not own the cover art. That would be the link down below! (it is from the land under, or better known as Reddit.) Note, I don't hate Reddit it's just I don't really use it unless it's related to finding cover art.
