Foalhood. The time in your life as a Pony when you're so young and innocent. These are the times where you feel so free in your life and look back on the most. You might even make some foalhood friends as a foal. This is usually the case, except for a certain cerulean Pegasus called Rainbow Dash. Back then, she became friends with a light yellow Pegasus called Fluttershy. She didn't know when she first made friends with her that she was actually a cruel bully and didn't know that she would ruin her own life for her entire life to come later on.
What she didn't know back then was the biggest sacarfice she would eventually make one day.
"Why am I such a WORTHLESS IDIOT.." Said Rainbow Dash while walking alone in Cloudsdale.
Rainbow Dash had been depressed in her life ever since she met Fluttershy back in her foalhood. She was too weak to do anything about her, so she just let Fluttershy bully her. Over the years, this caused in her own life to be ruined. She first lost her pride and self-love. Her competitiveness then started to change from positive competitiveness into negative competitiveness. She started comparing herself to other Ponies and feeling worthless. Eventually, she lost all her speed and skill of flying and lost the ability to go fast enough to perform her infamous Sonic Rainboom. Her depression and negativity started to get out of hand even more as the years went by. All the Ponies who adored her eventually left her fanclub and found other idols, especially Scootaloo, Rainbow Dash's biggest fan and her adoptive sister.
"Hey Rainbow Dash.. What's wrong..?" Said Hoops, the light orange Pegasus.
"Yeah.. What's wrong..?" Said Dumb-Bell, the dark brown Pegasus.
"I don't need anyone's care... I'm fine.." Replied Rainbow Dash, lacking any emotions.
"What happened Dash..? You can tell us anything!" Said Score, the light gray Pegasus.
"Yeah! Is it about Fluttershy..?" Said Hoops.
"Not like it matters anyways... I'm worthless... She's right.. I've let her ruin my entire life from back when we were fillys.." Replied a broken Rainbow Dash.
The three Pegasi felt bad for her and didn't know what to say. They always cared about Rainbow Dash ever since they first saw her perform the Sonic Rainboom back in her foalhood. As they were thinking of what to say, a familiar voice erupted.
"WHO THE FUCK ARE THE THREE OF YOU? GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY SIGHT BEFORE I BITCHSLAP YOU THREE!" Yelled Fluttershy.
As soon as Fluttershy started yelling at the three Pegasi, they all ran off in Cloudsdale. Fluttershy got closer to Rainbow Dash and started to have a evil grin as she focused on Rainbow Dash.
"Well well well, look who it is! Rainbow CRASH!" Said Fluttershy while laughing cruelly at Rainbow Dash.
"You'll never be awesome in your life! You are just a waste of space! The Wonderbolts would never take somepony like you! You never mattered and never were special, Rainbow CRASH!"
After a few seconds, Fluttershy looked at Rainbow Dash again who wasn't replying since she crushed her entire life before. After a minute, this caused Fluttershy to go into a rage.
"OH, you're giving me the silent treatment again HUH? We can do this THE HARD WAY RAINBOW CRASH!" Yelled Fluttershy in pure anger.
Rainbow Dash continued to be silent which only infuriated Fluttershy even more as her hurtful words got more cruel.
"You're just a tryhard with a big ego! Who would even like you? NOPONY! THAT'S EXACTLY WHO!! And if you ever think you can run away from me, I'm always WATCHING YOU RAINBOW CRASH!" Yelled Fluttershy before storming off in Cloudsdale.
As Fluttershy was walking away, a massive explosion goes off at the center of Cloudsdale. The two Pegasi look towards the area where the explosion happened. One with a expression of pure fear and the other one with a confused expression. The two Mares began flying to the center of Cloudsdale to find out what's going on. Once they got there, what they saw shocked them. There were Changelings destroying houses in Cloudsdale and kidnapping Pegasi. Their queen was with them there, Queen Chrysalis. Rainbow Dash immediately started flying to the Changelings to try and fight them to rescue the Pegasi but realized at the last moment that she's too unfit in the present days for fighting. The Changeling saw this and proceeded to attack Rainbow Dash until she fell down when it proceeded to take her captive like the other Pegasi they were capturing.
"HEY YOU BITCHES! ONLY I GET TO HURT RAINBOW CRASH!" Yelled Fluttershy to the Changeling holding Rainbow Dash captive as she flew towards it and landed against it, knocking the Changeling out in the process and releasing it's grip on Rainbow Dash and the other Pegasi it caught. Rainbow Dash was still unconscious so Fluttershy looked for more Changelings to knock out. Meanwhile in the subconsciousness of Rainbow Dash, something goes on...
"What do I even have to look forward in my life.. I'm worthless... I let Fluttershy ruin my entire life and ruin who I used to be.." Said a depressed Rainbow Dash.
"It'd be better off if I just kill myself... No Pony would remember me anyways... I bet anypony could easily replace me in life anyways..." Said Rainbow Dash as she started to feel more emotionally unstable, tears starting to fall from her eyes.
As Rainbow Dash cried, a flashback of when she first met Fluttershy started to play.
"Heya! What's your name?"
"F-fluttershy.."
"Nice to meet you Fluttershy! Stick with me and we'll be buddies for life!"
"Hehe.. Thank you Rainbow Dash! You're really cool how you did the legendary Sonic Rainboom! Everypony used to think it was a old Mare's tale, but there you were pulling it off, making the impossible possible!"
"Aww shucks.. It was nothing Fluttershy! Wanna go get some icecream? I heard there's a really good icecream place here in Cloudsdale!"
"I'd love to!"
As the flashback ended, Rainbow Dash had lots of tears in her eyes from the good memories with Fluttershy before she turned into a bully and ruined her life.
"I really am worthless, huh?" Said Rainbow Dash with tears in her eyes. As she was tearing up, she started to hear voices as her consciousness started coming back. She drawed one more tear before becoming conscious again.
As Rainbow Dash started opening her eyes slowly while on the ground, she finally heard the voices as she looked up to see the Queen of the Changelings, Chrysalis fighting Fluttershy, who was slightly injured by her.
"YOU THINK YOU CAN TAKE DOWN MY CHANGELING ARMY? HAHAHAHA!! You are a fool!" Laughed Chrysalis.
"You think you're tough, aren't you..? You're just a coward who needs your army to do your dirty work! I bet you even have them do your FUCKING LAUNDRY! HAHAHA!!" Laughed Fluttershy in response to Chrysalis.
Chrysalis didn't take Fluttershy's reply well. In a instant, she started charging a green sphere from her horn which was now glowing with a green aura.
"You think that's funny, huh? Try to DODGE THIS! HAHAHA!!" Yelled Chrysalis at Fluttershy as she finished charging up the gigantic green sphere from her horn and let it loose as it started traveling towards Fluttershy at a fast rate.
"REAL NICE RAINBOW CRASH! LOOK WHAT YOU CAUSED!! I'M GOING TO BE KILLED BY THIS FUCKING ASSHOLE NOW!! YOU'RE WORTHLESS YOU KNOW THAT? YOU COULDN'T EVEN SAVE ANY OF THE PEGASI BEFORE! I HAD TO STEP IN AND SAVE SOME OF THEM WHEN YOU HAD YOUR LITTLE SLEEP!" Yelled a very angry and stressed Fluttershy to Rainbow Dash as soon as she noticed Rainbow Dash was awake again on the cloud floor. Rainbow Dash looked in fear and everything slowed down for her as she came across a thought in her mind.
"I should just sacarfice myself for Fluttershy... I never mattered in this world.. I let her take control of me and ruin my entire life, and for what... I'm just a shell of what I used to be ever since she ruined my life.... I JUST WANT TO END THIS PAIN THAT IS MY LIFE ALREADY!!"
"I JUST WANT IT TO END!!!"
As soon as Rainbow Dash focused back on the magic blast, she leapt towards Fluttershy and pushed her out of the way just in time as she ends up taking the magic blast herself now. She screams in agony before falling down on the clouds again. As she falls on the clouds, blood starts pooling around her from the magic blast she took to the chest. Her chest was completely melted through from the magic blast. All her organs were visible in the hole as blood pooled out at a alarming rate. Chrysalis called all her Changelings to attack Canterlot next as she left off laughing sadistically.
As Chrysalis left victorious, Fluttershy started feeling a foreign emotion she hadn't felt for a long time. Grief. Looking at Rainbow Dash's injuries, she started tearing up and ran over to Rainbow Dash and laid down near her.
"W-what..? Why.. did you do that.. Y-you idiot.." Said Fluttershy as she started tearing up more, her speech starting to slightly stutter from the grief she was starting to feel.
"Because... I knew I was worthless.. I never mattered... Heh... Did I Fluttershy...? You were right.." Replied Rainbow Dash. This broke Fluttershy even more as she started tearing up even more realizing how she ruined Rainbow Dash's life.
"N-NO! W-we can fix this..! We can get you to a hospital down in Ponyville..! P-please Dash... DON'T LEAVE ME..." Cried Fluttershy as she started full-on crying.
"I don't think so Fluttershy.. I want to stay dead after everything you did to me.. I've felt dead inside after all the things you called me. I just want to die and finally leave this place... Don't bring me to a hospital.. I'm not worth it." Replied Rainbow Dash without any emotions.
"NO PLEASE DASH!! I NEVER MEANT FOR THIS TO HAPPEN!! WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU FLUTTERSHY... CELESTIA DAMN IT!!" Pleaded Fluttershy as she cried even more.
Rainbow Dash's blood started to pool out from her chest even more as her beautiful cerulean coat started turning grayish along with her rainbow mane turning colorless as she was losing more blood.
"Fluttershy..." Said Rainbow Dash weakly.
"Dash... Please... LET ME SAVE YOU!" Cried out Fluttershy, tears staining her face.
"I want everypony.. To remember what happened to me... So they can prevent anything like this.... From ever happening again... Please... Promise me you will make sure no Pony ever suffers like how I did.." Said Rainbow Dash as she only had a bit of life left in her.
"But... Das-" Said Fluttershy before being interrupted by Rainbow Dash.
"PLEASE!! Fluttershy PLEASE..." Pleaded Rainbow Dash.
"O-okay... I will.. I pinkie promise... Cross my h-heart.. hope to f-fly.. stick a cupcake i-in my eye.." Said Fluttershy as she was crying still.
"Thank you.. I'll miss everypony.. Heh..." Said Rainbow Dash with a sad smile.
"This is all my fault for bullying you over the years..." Said Fluttershy as her guilt felt even more worse.
"R-Rainbow Dash..? RAINBOW DASH?! NO.. DON'T LEAVE ME YET!" Pleaded Fluttershy as her heart felt heavy from all her crying.
Rainbow Dash had finally passed away, losing all her blood now. Fluttershy stood over her with teary eyes filled with depression. She knew she was the one who caused her to snap and take her own life, sacrificing herself for Fluttershy despite everything she did to her. All the bullying. All the depression and worthlessness she made her feel, ruining her life and her dream to join the Wonderbolts. It was all her fault, and now Rainbow Dash was dead in front of her. All the depression came back hard this time as her tears only started getting worse.
As Fluttershy started crying even more harder, Pegasi locals in Cloudsdale went around the lifeless body of Rainbow Dash as they saw their hero dead, pooled in her own blood and her chest melted through. Some of the Pegasi started crying while others closed their eyes in sadness, crying on the inside. They started to pick up her body and put it in a coffin. A few minutes later, Fluttershy was alongside other Pegasi at the memorial in Cloudsdale where they started lowering Rainbow Dash's coffin. Some Pegasi started crying again and some that didn't cry before started crying now. Fluttershy had it the worse, she was the one who caused Rainbow Dash to sacarfice her. She was crying even more than any of the other Pegasi.
Eventually, they lowered her coffin enough so they started digging cloud into the hole filling it up. After they filled the hole up, Rainbow Dash's tombstone was planted in front of the now filled hole. Fluttershy looked at the tombstone with tears still in her eyes. It read
Here lies
Rainbow Dash
Sensitive friend
Hero of Cloudsdale
May you rest in peace
After Rainbow Dash's tombstone was placed, Fluttershy felt so much emotions to the point she felt like she was going to burst. She felt guilty for bullying Rainbow Dash over the years which led to ruining her life, and she felt grief still for losing her.
"This is all MY FAULT!" Cried out Fluttershy who was still crying. All the Pegasi around her gasped in shock after hearing that before she continued.
"I pushed Rainbow Dash which ended up making her sacrifice herself to save me when Queen Chrysalis, Queen of the Changelings was about to kill me when she was attacking all of us before.. The truth is.. I'm not a good Pony... I bullied poor Dash so much.." Said Fluttershy before she went back to crying, feeling guilty.
All the Pegasi around her couldn't believe what she just said. It was no surprise they got angry and very pissed for what she did to Dash all the time and they brought Fluttershy to the Cloudsdale Center for judgement. In the center, a dozen of Pegasi were gathered around for the judgement of Fluttershy. They all came to the judgement that she deserves to be exiled from Cloudsdale. Before they kicked her out of Cloudsdale, her parents, Mr. and Ms. Shy appeared to say one last goodbye to their daughter.
"We can't believe our own daughter would do something so cruel..." Said Ms. Shy who wasn't happy with Fluttershy.
"We raised you nicely and then you go off and bully your only friend and make her feel worthless!" Said Mr. Shy, who wasn't happy with Fluttershy either.
As soon as her parents stopped talking, two Pegasi began running up to Fluttershy to try and attack her out of anger but her parents held them back since she knows what she's done by now from how much she is still crying. They were Rainbow Dash's parents, Windy Whistles and Bow Hothoof.
"YOU CAUSED OUR PRECIOUS DAUGHTER TO DIE! THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!!" Yelled Windy Whistles in pure anger.
"NOW WE'LL NEVER SEE OUR DASHIE EVER AGAIN, ALL THANKS TO YOU!!" Yelled Bow Hothoof in pure anger as well.
After Rainbow Dash's parents went angry at Fluttershy, they started running off crying as much as Fluttershy. If Fluttershy's guilt and grief hadn't been very high now, it would have been after witnessing Rainbow's parents run off crying. She remembers her parents were always nice to her and were the reason she used to be the most awesome Pony that everypony knew. Fluttershy was holding a huge weight over her shoulder by now for everything she did to Rainbow Dash which ended up causing her to sacarfice herself to save her.
"I t-think I want to go with Dash too.. Why should I bother living anymore after I caused my only friend... to kill herself.." Said Fluttershy as she had no more will to go on in life. Her parents were shocked and pleaded to her to not take her own life.
"FLUTTERSHY, PLEASE! DON'T DO THIS!" Pleaded Ms. Shy.
"WE STILL LOVE YOU DESPITE WHAT YOU DID!" Pleaded Mr. Shy.
"Before I go to the afterlife, there's one last thing I want to tell all of you. Or well, more so Dash. This was her dying wish for me. To tell you all to make sure something like this never ends up happening again in the future. No Pony deserves to go through what I made poor Dash go through..." Said Fluttershy, tears still sliding down her face.
"With that out of the way, bye everypony. Bye mom and dad. And bye Equestria." Said Fluttershy as she jumped off of Cloudsdale and held her wings tucked in to prevent herself from flying as she skyrocketed towards the surface. As the surface of Ponyville started approaching, Fluttershy closed her eyes with a sad smile and remembered all her memories.
"B-bunny!"
"She said her first words honey!"
"Isn't that sweet?"
"Fluttershy! Me and your father found a injured bunny when we went to Ponyville earlier! Do you think you could help it?"
"HUH? Is it okay? I'll help it for sure! Come here little one! Don't worry!"
"Fluttershy, we're sorry to say this but.. We found Angel dead yesterday.."
"N-NO! ANGEL HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?"
"A bear must of tried to eat poor Angel! We found it near the entrance to Everfree Forest near your Cottage in Ponyville."
"THAT BEAR WILL PAY!!"
"Well well well... LOOK WHO IT IS! WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY FOR YOURSELF?! YOU KILLED MY BUNNY ANGEL!"
*ROARR*
"I'LL MAKE YOU PAY FOR KILLING MY PRECIOUS ANGEL BUNNY!!"
*Snap*
"I HATE THIS WORLD SO MUCH.. IF I CAN'T BE HAPPY, THEN NO PONY CAN BE!!"
"Goodbye.. Cruel world.." Said Fluttershy before she splattered on the surface in Ponyville.
As Fluttershy splattered on the ground in Ponyville, all the Ponies in Ponyville and the Pegasi from Cloudsdale screamed in fear and sadness. They lost two Ponies in Equestria that day. They could only hope that they will be happier in the afterlife.
"I'm a horrible Pony... I deserve to rot in Tartarus for eternity.." Cried Fluttershy in the afterlife, tears still dripping down her face.
"F-Fluttershy?! You died too..?" Said a sad Rainbow Dash.
"After you died... I told the Pegasi in the center of Cloudsdale what really happened... After that, they exiled me from Cloudsdale, and then my parents weren't happy with what I did before your parents ran up to try and hurt me because they were grieving over you too... After that.. I told them what you wanted me to tell them and then jumped off and took my own life..." Said Fluttershy before crying again.
"Hey.. It's okay.. We're finally free now from our lives. We're in the afterlife now. We're free from all the pain and sadne-" Said Rainbow Dash before being interrupted by Fluttershy running to her and hugging her tightly while crying the most she's cried.
"I THOUGHT I LOST YOU RAINBOW DASH!" Cried Fluttershy.
"Don't worry Fluttershy.. We're here together now. We can finally feel happiness again." Replied Rainbow Dash as she hugged Fluttershy back with happy tears in her eyes.
"And most importantly, I forgive you Fluttershy with pleasure." Smiled Rainbow Dash.

Anyways, that ends the tragic story of this alternate universe's Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy. I might make a sequel in the future, you'll just have to see.
