Goldenella 'Goldie' Skylight is a relatively recent hire with Vivarail, a UK rolling stock firm. Apart from her usual office duty in the sales department, she has just landed her first business trip in support of securing a deal. The location of the deal is Dresden, in Germany, and she had no reason to think it will be anything but routine.

Little does she know, but a chance meeting during that trip will change the course of her entire life.

This story serves as a prequel/explanation of how Argyle and Goldie met. Although it takes place within my Thomas and Friends continuity, prior knowledge of the other stories is not required. This, and other stories within the continuity, was planned before Written in the Starscouts aired, and as such does not take it into account.
