“What happened to me?!” Rarity squealed as she felt her face. Indeed, she had become a poisonous dart frog with webbed hands and feet and a rather moist outer skin layer. Though surprisingly, her eyelashes carried over to her current form. “Rib--why am I an amphibian?!”

“This must be the curse I’ve been hearing about,” Sunset grumbled as she looked between Rarity and the swarm of bee women, then snapped her fingers to summon her flaming sword to her hands. “We need to contain this situation before it spreads. Are you with me?”

Unfortunately, Rarity was still too shocked by her sudden change in appearance to move. She was stuck in a fetal position, rocking back and forth on the floor as she snapped up a nearby fly with her long frog tongue involuntarily.

“...Okay, I’ll let you have a second,” Sunset responded empathetically. She knew Rarity valued her appearance and this could easily be considered a tragic moment for her friend. “Just gotta figure out how to--”

That’s when Aidon and Luna burst onto the scene by diving into the room.

“Dammit, we’re too late!” the hound beastman snarled.

“I’ll see what I can do about saving the others,” Luna quickly came up with a plan, “Think you can handle those bees, love?”

“Go for it,” Aidon agreed as Luna ran on ahead.

Sunset Shimmer noticed her former educators’ sudden appearances and recognized them instantly by their voices. “Luna? Professor? Is that you?”

“Long story--oh dear,” Aidon noticed that Sunset was still wearing nothing but a swimsuit and averted his eyes, “Are you getting dressed?”

“Oh, this? Nah, don’t worry about it--I’m a model,” Sunset replied casually about her appearance, more focused on the situation in front of her. “Though right about now, I think we need to play hero.”

“Yeah, something like that,” Aidon replied as they both sprung into action.

Since they both knew that these corrupted bee women were real people, they didn’t want to cause them any excess harm. But they still had to fight back to save the people who were being attacked by them. Aidon leapt forward and restrained one of the bees in chains made of darkness, holding her to the floor before deflecting the stinger of another, but some honey was shot at his feet, holding him to the ground.

“...?!” Aidon growled and forcefully lifted one foot, then the other out of the honey but found himself swarmed by at least six of them on all sides.

‘I have no choice but to use this,’ he thought to himself as he brought his claws together and created a small black hole that drew all of the bee women inwards until they were stuck together and immobile. Then, with a single palm strike, he struck the ball of bee gals and sent them flying in all directions, hitting the walls and losing consciousness.

By now, Luna had managed to escort each of the civilians out with her superspeed as a fox-woman, so they had free reign to fight each of the bee girls without fear of causing collateral damage.

On her end, Sunset leapt through the group of six more bees and blocked their stingers with her sword just before swiping at them with a giant fist made of fire in order to send them careening into the nearest wall. One managed to slip through and put her in a chokehold from behind, but Sunset shifted her own weight forwards, flipping the bee over her body and roundhouse kicking her into the pile of other incapacitated bees.

“Hmph,” Sunset made her sword disappear and rubbed her hands together to dust them off after a job well done. “Who says it’s unrealistic to fight a battle in just your bikini?” she muttered smugly to herself.

“Are you alright, Sunset?” Aidon asked as he approached her. “The police will have no doubt been called by now, so we need to hurry up before things get messy.”

“...Yeah, you’re right--wait, Rarity!” Sunset called out as she remembered her now frog-like friend. She immediately hurried backstage where Rarity was still stuck in a fetal position. “Darn…I don’t think she’s alright.”

“We should get her out of here,” Aidon suggested, “We’re still working on a way to reverse this curse, but we’re not sure how we can. Thankfully it seems as if you’ve managed to avoid it thus far. Just be sure to avoid looking at any screens depicting--”

“Enchanted Torment,” Sunset recalled the film’s name, “Yeah I think I caught that. Though, if it’s really a curse that can be put into reality and affect the world around us, then there has to be a way to undo it by altering the world around ourselves again.”

Luna ran back in to speak with the group. “Whatever we’re discussing, we need to do it elsewhere. The police are on their way right now.”

Sunset levitated Rarity up with her magic. “I’ll get her outta here. Don’t worry.”

“Alright then,” Aidon sighed, “I suppose our Masked Friend has gotten the better of us again. We need to leave and regroup once more unfortunately.”

With that, they all left and snuck out just as the police arrived. Including Commissioner Eris….

“Goddammit!” Eris screamed as she exited her vehicle while other officers made arrests on the bee women. “Every fucking time we arrive just as the action is over with! This is really starting to get to me…” she hissed as she shook her head.

Archie would try to console her. “...Look. Ms. Eris. Maybe there’s more to this that we’re missing. There has to be a reason why--”

THUD!

Eris suddenly shoved Archie against the outside wall of the building as the other officers nearby simply rolled their eyes and disregarded it as their chief’s usual behavior.

“Listen here, chucklefuck,” Eris grumbled in his face, “You and your goody-two-shoes demeanor is really pissin’ me off. Don’t fuckin’ start with me. You do what I say, when I say, or you get your ass blasted and fucked off back to your parents like a pathetic little embarrassment. Do you understand me?”

“...y-yes ma’am…”

“Good,” Eris shoved him once more and walked away in a huff.

Another officer spoke up from nearby. “Hey, boss. I got something over here. Culprit left a note. Something about…technology consuming all.”

“Eh?”
