Chapters It all started one fateful day, I had just finished my last day of high school and I was walking home after graduation. I wasn’t paying attention, and before I could say or do anything a car came out of nowhere and BOOM!!!! That was it.
Darkness there’s nothing, a void of dark shadows surrounding around me. there was nothing left but me and my thoughts. And then I woke up on the floor dark and dusty. I open my eyes only to shut again from the light. I open my eyes once more to look around I wasn’t in the street where I thought I was instead, I was in the middle of a dusty old room, covered in cobwebs and dust.
I brought my hand up to brush my face only to come in contact with a solid hoof. As I looked down, and to my shock my arms and legs have turned into that of a pony hooves, where my hands and feet should have been. Frozen in fear at the thought of becoming some sort of horse. I noticed that instead of a normal color, I have a light blue color fur. I think to myself, that’s definitely not normal before I can think even further, I happened to glance down towards myself, and to my shock and a horror instead of a the male bits I was so accustomed to find what appears to be the female version.. that’s right, not only was I turned into some sort of colored pony, but I had also turned into a girl that’s when I scream “AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH THEY THE HELL!?!?!” I scream loudly as I scramble away, and press myself against a wall, staring at my hooves, and down at my marehood but I definitely never had before.
"This can’t be happening. This definitely can’t be happening. Wait, I can talk…. My voice is so high-pitched. This is so weird.” I say as I look around the room still freaking out. It’s then that I noticed a mirror in the corner of the room. Stumbling awkwardly over my new found hooves trying to walk towards it. Not accustomed to walking on hooves, which to me, it feels like walking on stilts.
My reflection is what shocked me the most out of everything. My reflection is 100% a female pony, definitely resembling that from an old cartoon 'my little pony'. I had light blue colored hair, with a silver colored mane, sparkling purple eyes and I had a unicorn horn to boot. I turned to look at my side, and that is when i noticed, I don't even have a cutie mark. which I know from the show would only mean that I’m actually a child. “ Crap I am a kid, just great, just great. Is there anything else that can go wrong Today?” I say as I continue to look around the room, noting a window.
I proceeded to look outside, and again I go completely pale at the complete horror and shock as to where I actually am. I seem to have woken up in the middle of an abandoned room on what looks to be a top floor in the Canterlot castle of all places. The Canterlot castle is a well known castle in which princess Celestia and princess Luna co-rule over all of Equestria. If I were to wander around, I’m sure to get caught. I’m so screwed. I slid down the wall thinking to myself how absolutely screwed I am. “ OK OK let’s think about this. I died and I woke up as a female kid pony in the middle of Canterlot castle in the world of my little pony.
How the heck am I going to get out of this situation without getting captured or questioned?” I say to myself, as I slowly start standing up and practicing walking on these hooves back and forth in little pacing steps. It didn’t take me very long to get a custom to it but still it feels so weird walking on Hooves. “ OK all I have to do is find a way to get out of here without being spotted.” I say to myself as I open the door and poke my little head out into the dark hallway. I slowly start to trot my way through this dark hallway, coming to the door a big door. I slowly open it. Just a little bit enough for me to peek out into my absolute horror. There are two guards stationed there. I slipped back into the hallway, worried that I might have been spotted I Sprint my way back into the bedroom. “ crap crap. Crap crap. Please say I didn’t get spotted. “ I say, as I looked behind me and peak out of the door to the bedroom only see a guard, walking down the hallway with his horn lit with the light.
“Who’s there come out!” The guard says as he gets closer to the door. Without thinking, I jumped out the window only to land on a balcony below.
I lay there dazed and confused having the wind knocked out of me. “ oh!! oh my , are you okay little one?” A beautiful, motherly voice asked me. And having watched the show before, and know the characters very well, I know, full well, who's voice that is, and I slowly turn my head to come face-to-face, with none other than Princess Celestia herself.
“I ….uh….” is all I could muster, while looking at the absolute goddess that is princess Celestia. She simply smiles at me and sits down on her legs coming to eye level with me.
“ it’s OK little one I’m not going to hurt you and you’re not going to get in trouble. I just want to know how you got this far into the castle, and where did you come from?” She says, in a soft, motherly voice. calming and trying to put me at ease. I think for a moment before the first thing I can think of pops into my head Which is utterly stupid.
“ I don’t remember..” I say any very shaky voice. She looks at me confused for a moment before something clicks, and she speaks again.
“Oh I think I know what happened. You may have had a magic surge and by doing so accidentally, teleportred yourself here. But being so young and no one to help you may have lost your memories in the process.” She says, in a very concerned manner. Not wanting to correct her and risk my actual being there revealed I agree and go with what she said.
"What do I do?” I say, as I stand up. she looks at me for a moment. then an idea comes to her. she stands up and beckons for me to follow her. without a choice i do so.
“Hmm I suppose you can come with me to day court and after we will see if we can find your family.” She says happily, as she stands up. I take on a very terrified expression.
I softly ask “princess what if I don’t have any family at all?” I ask her in a manner I wish I didn’t. She looks at me shocked for a moment before switching to a sad one. she puts a wing over me in a comforting way and softly says,
“ well little one if that’s the case then we will see about finding you a new one.” And with that we walked to the throne room so she can start her day court. Here’s hoping that I won’t just be thrown in an orphanage…

This is the start of my first story I hope you guys enjoy chapter 1
A lot things happened in the last 24 hours I died, and then was reincarnated as some sort of child female unicorn in the world of my little pony. I would never have thought I would end up here but here I am sitting next to the princess in the throne room. Some random noble dude is running on and on about prices on apples. For some reason I have no idea how five currency works here.
“ now you see princess all I’m asking is for a 10% increase which would benefit the sales of different Apple farms.” He says I don’t follow anything he’s saying to much I am more enthralled in the surroundings at the throne room the Stain-glass windows and those royal guards. What is she even need? She’s so powerful I never understood that.
I think I fell asleep at some point when they started rattling on about tax season junk because by the time that I woke up the princess and started walking with me on her back to who knows where.
When we finally stopped, she sent me down on a comfy chair in a carriage. We started flying I couldn’t help but look outside. It was amazing. I’ve never flown before on some magical carriage only in an airplane projecting that they don’t exist in this world. This is as close as it gets, so I guess.
“ Where are we going princess?” I ask as we fly down the mountain. She giggles at my enthusiasm
“Well I’m taking you to someone who I think might benefit from raising a Philly such as yourself by the way what was your name?” She asks me in that sweet motherly voice. I think for a moment not sure what to say. I can’t very well say Jack, that would be weird. I vaguely remember some thing about their names resembling their characteristics or something like that so when I noticed a bit of my silver colored hair fall in front of my eyes I get an idea.
“ my name is Silver … Silver Shield…” I say in a shy voice.I didn’t even know I could be that meek sounding. Kinda reminds me of Fluttershy she was the shy one.
After some time we land in none other than Ponyville itself. The place where most of the show took place. We get out of the carriage and we go up to an incredibly big castle made of crystals. The door opens and spike and princess twilight come out. Spike is a purple and green baby dragon and twilight is a purple pony with a Horn and wings like princess Celestia and Luna but twilight doesn’t have wavy magic hair she looks like a normal pony with wings and a horn.
“Twilight, I’m glad you got my letter to meet.” Celestia says as she and twilight huh. I didn’t even know she snit a letter, probably when I was asleep in the throne room.
"Princess all you said in your letter was that you needed to see me and you had a very important mission for me to do. but all i see is this little filly." Twilight says looking at me confused. as for me, not knowing what to do my body sort of moved on it's own like some sort of instinct, i hid behind Celestia's leg like a shy child. which i guess i am now.
"Well that is persistently what I would like to talk to you about why don't we go inside to discuss it in private." the princess says as we all trot into the crystal castle. once we were inside, the Princess spoke again.
"OK Twilight, as you can see i have a little filly no older thin three or four she has no family, at least that is what she said. i would like you to look into this matter and if she really does not have a family, i would like you to raise her." Twilight looked completely shocked at that last part.
"What p...princess i cant be her mother...i don't know anything about raising a filly...i wouldn't even know where to start" i look at Twilight kinda hurt she didn't even want to try.
"Princess?..." i asked her in a meek voice. both of the Mares looked at me.
"It's OK if miss Twilight doesn't want me you can put me in an orphanage it's fine, relay. i don't want to cause trouble. both of them look at me with sad looks. Celestia gives Twilight a look to which she gets the hint and gets down to my level.
"i'm sorry little one i didn't mean it like that. i do want you it's just i don't know how to be a mom." the baby dragon speaks up.
"actually, Twi that's not true at all you practically raised me and i turned out OK. Why don't you give it a try and think of it like a new challenge. Besides Princess Celestia asked you personally." he said as he walked up to me at the same height as i am.
"he has a point Twilight. i think it would be a great experience for you. You can learn a lot from raising a foal,and just think with your magical knowledge, i have no doubt this little unicorn will become as magically gifted as you are." Twilight looked at all of us and sighed.
"OK OK i get it. i..i'll give it a try. but if i'm not cut out to be her Sargent mother we will need to put her up for adoption. deal?" she asked the princess. to which she simply nods.
"Yes Twilight, i think that is agreeable. a simple trial period if you will. i will leave her with her then. By the way her name is Silver Shield. take good care of her. if you need anything i would recommend asking your friends for help. if i am correct, Applejack, Rarity, and rainbow dash know something or another about caring for foals. good luck Twilight, i know you can do this. i must now farewell." And with that she left me with Twilight to be my new mother. what could go wrong....
Chapter 3 life in Ponyville
I sat on the couch as Twilight talked to me about how i am gonna be her daughter, and how she is going to try to be a good mom for me and of how i should think of Spike as my new brother. We talked about random things for a little longer then Twilight stood up to go cook dinner. My thoughts went straight to delicious steak and mashed potatoes.
"Oh miss Twilight what are you making?" I ask in an excited tone. She stops and looks back at me with an amused smile as she levitates a cook book over to her.
"Silver you don't have to call me miss just Twilight is good or just Twi. But if you must know i'm making a nice salad with some hay fries." my expression got her attention.
"What's wrong do you not like hay fries? I can make something else if you want i want you to be happy with my cooking and.." i cut her off as i say,
"No no its OK...its just not what I was expecting" She looks at me with that look of confusion as her head tilts. She levitates the book over to me so i can see it. To my complete surprise it's in English so i can acutely read it. I flip the page and look at different vegetation recipes.
'Of course it's all vegetation' i think to myself as i give the book back, telling her that what she was going to make was perfect. She nods. I go for a walk around the castle as she makes dinner. Spike follows me which is kinda annoying, but allow it anyway. I made my way to the library of the castle. I had just found a book on beginning magic and tried to grab it with my hooves which I struggled with for a minute. I learned that i can actually can pick up things with my hoof. It was some sort of tactile telekinesis. I read about one chapter of the beginner's spell book when spike tapped my shoulder.
"Hmm?...oh what is it, Spike?" i ask looking at him.
"I got a letter from Twi she said that dinner is ready and to bring you back." he says as i get up and look back at my book. Without a word he picks up my book and starts walking to the door.
"what are you doing Spike?" i ask tilting my head to the side in a cute way. He opens the door and looks back at me.
"Oh you know i thought you liked this book so i thought i would bring it to your new room after dinner." He says as i follow him back to the living area of the castle. The food was better than I thought given it was a salad and fried hay. Must be my new pony body. After dinner Twilight showed me my new room it was a nice bedroom. It had bright Purple cretins and the sheets were the same color. It had a desk and a bookshelf. the bed looked like one of those Princess beds with the cretin canopy. Spike put my book on the desk. I looked over at the bed to find a box. going over to the box Twilight spoke in a kind tone
"I thought you might like this." I opened the box to find a stuffed pony toy. i looked old and worn out but had a surtitle charm to it i liked it.
"Thank you Twilight This is so nice." i say as i hug her she is stunned for a second before returning the hug. i let go and climbed into the bed noting the dark sky out my window. Twilight comes over and tucks me in. she smiles at me as she does something i never expected. Twilight kisses my head and whispers
"my mom used to do that to help me sleep better. so i did it for you i am going to be your mom now after all. Good night silver lets Luna give you good dreams." and with that she left the room but not before turning off the lights. i sat in the dark thinking about the past two days i had. I was a human boy named Jack. i got hit by a car and died and then i woke up as a female pony child with the new name of Silver Shield. I met the princess, and now i am adopted by Twilight Sparkle herself. Yep what a crazy past couple of days... i slowly close my eyes and i fall asleep ready to take on what the next day in Equestria has in store for me.
Chapter 4 meeting new friends
I woke up the next morning to the smell of pancakes. I sit up looking around the room. I see the stuffed pony toy that Twilight gave me and i pick it up and keep it with me as i walk on three legs towards the smell. I turn the corner to see spike cooking pancakes as Twilight pours coffee. She sees me coming up to the table.
"Good morning Silver how did you sleep? Was the bed comfy?" she asked me as I sat my toy on the table. I sat on the chair as she came over to me with her coffee floating in her magic. I stare at the floating cup in wonder.
"huh oh sorry...yeah. How are you doing that?" i say as i point my hoof at the cup.
"oh that? It's an essay spell. Every unicorn learns it as the first spell. You're too young to attempt any magic. If you were to it would be detrimental to your magical growth." i having used to be a nineteen year old human knew that big word but as a five year old pony i had to play dumb. I tilted my head in a cute way signaling i didn't know what she meant.
"Oh sorry.....um ..oh, it would be bad for you if you did magic at such a young age."
"oh...OK um Miss Twilight i'm hungry." No sooner did i say that, Spike put a plate of pancakes on the table. Twilight used magic to fix me a plate and put it in front of me. She put syrup on it. I ate happily as Twilight ate her food. She swallowed her food before starting a conversation.
"So.... I was wondering if you're up for me to show you around Ponyville. I might even introduce you to my friends." i take a moment before nodding. After finishing our breakfast Twilight and i leave. We make our way to the middle of town and i look into the water of the fountain.
"Oh hi there i don't think i have seen you before and i knew everypony in Ponyville." A relay bubbly high pitched voice says to be as i look up to see a pink pony with a curly and fluffy pink mane and bright blue eyes look at me.
"oh Pinky just in time i want to introduce you to... Well, to my daughter here. This is Silver Shield." almost exactly how i thought she would react, she made the most exaggerated gasp.
"GASP!!!!! TWILIGHT YOU HAVE A DAUGHTER!?!?" i hide behind Twi.
"well it's complicated Pinky but yes i adopted her only yesterday Princess Celestia tasked me to raise her as my own. It's like a trial period of at least a month or so."
"but still you have a daughter ...you know what this calls for~~?" Pinky says in a sing-song voice. Before either of us can stop her she ran off yelling at the top of her lounges.
"PARTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Twilight facehoofed in frustration. I look at her with sympathy.
"sigh that mare what am i gonna do with her?.... Anyway shall we continue our tour of town?" i nod to that and she takes me to a lot of places around town. We went to the park, to the resonant district of course i tried hayburgers and wow where they were better than any hamburger i had before. We went to the Carousel Boutique. As we walked in Rarity a beautiful white unicorn with a nicely styled purple mane and tail who met us inside as she was working on a new dress. She was more than happy to hear that i was Twilight's new daughter. She said she wanted to make me a dress which I really did not want to be put in. As Twilight and Rarity were talking about making me a dress, Sweetie bell, a little white Unicorn filly with a pink mane and tail. Came down the stairs and saw me.
"Hi i'm Sweetie Bell, i'm Rarity's little sister."
"I....I'm Silver Shield Twilight's daughter." this seemed to make her extremely happy. She hugged me and said something about the cutie mark crusaders and something about helping me to get my mark. It was cool to make a new friend. After a bit of time talking Twilight took me away. On the way back to the castle we met Rainbow Dash. She was a cyan Pegasus with a rainbow mane and tail. She gave off a cocky attitude. She thought that it was 'cool' in her words that was Twilight's new daughter. All in all it was a long day as we made it back home i had the feeling that things weren't over yet. As we open the door the lights turned on and there were a lot of different ponies inside and confetti shot out as everypony yelled.
"SURPRISE!!!!!" both Twilight and i jumped from the shock. Pinky came up to us with a big smile.
"welcome to your congratulations for having a foal / welcome to Ponyville party" both me and Twilight looked at her with a deadpanned look. but hay free cake is always appreciated. after a great party, i met the rest of the main six. after the party the main six helped clean up and then they went home leaving just Twilight, Spike and I, as we sat on the couch and read for a little before Twilight put me to bed the same time as yesterday.
"i hope you had a good day Silver. i couldn't help but notice you making friends with Sweetie Bell." I giggled at that she she kisses me in my head just like last night and left me to go to sleep. i don't fall asleep if anything I am more awake than ever as i lay in the dark think to myself.
"oh no why did i giggle like that... am i becoming more like a girl or something.....this can't be good"
Chapter 5 unexpected realization
The next morning, I woke up to the smell of pancakes being cooked. I trot into the kitchen to find not twilight, but spike flipping pancakes. I yawn as I sit down at the table “mmmmm morning “ I say as I sip my orange juice that spike had put in front of me along with a plate of pancakes. It had taken me some time, but now I can pick things up with my hooves with relative ease, and as such holding a fork to pick up pieces of my breakfast, and it is easy as pie. Twilight takes a sip of her coffee before speaking.
“good morning silver. I have some good news for you.” She says, in a sing a song like tone. I swallow my mouth full of pancakes before asking her what. She simply smiles wide.
“ today is your first day of…. School isn’t that exciting you’re going to make new friends and learn new things.” She said excitedly only twilight would be excited about school. I sighed and looked at her. But the happy expression on her face was too infectious. I found myself smiling back.
Once we got to the school house, she told me to wait a moment so she could speak to the principal who is also the teacher Miss Cheerilee was her name. She was a dark burgundy-ish colored earth pony with a pink mane. She had a very friendly smile and a kind voice as to expected of a teacher I guess.
After some talking, twilight came back and gave me a hug before telling me that she pick me up after school so we could do some shopping together. After she left. Miss Cheerilee Finally spoke to the class. “ OK class today we are welcoming a new student. I want all of you to be on your best behavior for her. OK dear, you can come and introduce yourself to the class.” She said, in a calm voice.
In my previous life, I was never one for public speaking, so standing here in front of all these young filly’s and colts made me unnecessarily, nervous, shaking under the pressure I couldn’t under a single word. It isn’t until I felt a gentle hoof on my shoulder that I noticed that Miss Cheerilee was encouraging me to speak and so I did.
I spoke in a soft tone hiding behind my mane just like a certain yellow shy Pegasus friend of twilights, by the name of Fluttershy. “H…hi ….m..my name is silver.. silver shield …” I said, quietly, just loud enough that every pony could hear me. An awkward silence followed after. Miss Cheerilee Broke the silence first, with a stump of her roof making a loud clop sound to get everyone’s attention.
“ OK silver? Why don’t you go have a seat next to Sweetie Bell and we can start class” I simply nodded my head before making my way to the desk next to Sweetie Bell. And with that class began. The class went about as much as you would expect. From a first grade class we learned math. Which was simply addition and subtraction, incredibly easy for me, not so much for every other pony. We learned about the princesses of which I already knew about considering I’ve watched the My Little Pony TV show so I know a lot about this world already, but it doesn’t hurt to recap on things here and there. and finally we learned some English and writing skills. We even did some art.
“ and like that’s the first day of school was over I hung out with the cutie mark crusaders, who I learned the other names were in Apple bloom a yellow earthpony with a red mean and pink bow in her hair, and scootaloo an orange pegasus with a burgundy colored mane They were fun to hang out with, and made me happy that I made two new friends. And now, after all those years as a human with no friends, no family people who don’t even pay attention to me I finally have real friends. We hung out for a while until twilight picked me up.
Our first stop, was not what I expected we went to the carousel boutique where rarity had finished my dress after some arguing I finally put it on, and to my complete surprise, I actually liked the way I looked with a dress on. looking at myself in the mirror, wearing a dark green dress with purple outlines. The fact that I was wearing a dress just felt right for some reason. The sudden realization that I thought of myself as a girl hit me like a ton of bricks.
After the boutique twilight, and I got a bunch of ingredients for the stew, but the whole time I didn’t speak a single word still contemplating the fact that I liked being a girl my whole world had been turned upside down and flipped inside out and the mere fact that I liked being a girl was not what I expected. Brought out of my thoughts by twilight nudging me.
“ are you OK silver? You’ve been quiet since we left the boutique did you not like the dress?” And now here I was standing having an internal gender identity, crisis and twilight thought it was her fault. I had to fix this.
“ no no no it’s not you. I’m just tired. Maybe we should head home I did have my first day of school after all.” this seem to work, and she agreed we made our way back to the castle where she made an amazing vegetable .This seem to work, and she agreed we made our way back to the castle where she made a amazing vegetable stew and after I lay down on my bed sprawled out on my back, staring at the ceiling still contemplating my realization that I liked being a girl.
It felt weird to say in my head I liked being a girl and I was OK with it. Maybe it was the body that I was in now or maybe it was some thing that always was there, but regardless, I saw myself in my mind as a girl, which one of its own was kind of weird to me, but regardless, it was OK everything seem to be really good, and before I knew it, twilight came in to tuck me in.
I crawled under the covers, and she kissed me on the four head right above my horn, like she always does before turning out the lights and saying good night I lay there in the dark, smiling to myself. “ maybe this new life of mine is just what I needed after all.” I say to myself before slowly, falling asleep, eager for what the next day might bring.

Chapter 6 the day has come
A month had passed by fester then i thought. i was sitting on the couch and reading a book on magic, when Spike walks in and burps up a letter from Princess Celestia. "Oh Twilight! you got a letter from the Princess." he said as he handed the letter to Twilight.
"oh thank you Spike. Let's see...... oh she's coming over right now." she then begins to clean up and then runs over to me and she then brushes my mane and tail. Of course this annoys me as i'm just trying to read my book.
"sigh Twi what's so important that you have to fuss over me...?" i say in an annoyed tone. she just looks at me with that (are you serious?) face.
"Silver the Princess is coming right now. It's a supersize visit and i expect you to be on your best behavior." she said continuing to brush me.
"Oh i see OK i will" after she brushed me we stood by the door to greet the Princess.
“ as you may have guessed, I have come here because today is the day today twilight you must decide if you want to adopt young Silver Gleam here officially. Before you say anything, I must let you know that this is a big commitment he will be coming her official guardian ad for full responsibility. Will rest on you for her.” Twilight looks at me. With a loving smile, sweeping her wing over me to give me a tight hug she looks back at the princess and says.
“ of course princess I have been with her for about a month but I already I love her so very much. She brings me so much joy it’s crazy I get this strong sense of pride watching her grow. She reminds me so much of myself. She’s curious and she likes to learn about new subjects, and she loves reading. So of course I do this I can’t wait to become her mother officially that is.” She takes a quill, and starts to fill out the papers, signing her name on several pages.
“ I am so glad to hear this twilight. You are becoming quite mature. I have no doubt that you will become a great mother and great princess in time this whole process of raising a Philly will make you much more wise when it comes to being a princess trust me “ Princess Celestia says, with a wide smile. After signing all the pages for the adoption twilight hens it back to the princess who looks over them. Nodding to her self with an approving manner.
“OK everything seems to be in order twilight congratulations on officially becoming her guardian I wish you luck in racing this sweet little filly.” After that, Princess Celestia and twilight talk for a while I go back to reading my book after about four hours later princess Celestia finally leaves, leaving us in the castle where twilight begins to cook, lunch my favorite sandwiches.
“ after you eat lunch, would you like to go play with your friends? I know today is a weekend so you don’t have to go to school but I do hope that you don’t just stay indoors all day.” She says, giving me a plate with my sandwich on it.
“oh yeah sure after I finish my sandwich and this chapter I can go hang out with the Crusaders Sweetie Belle said something about trying painting I think that would be fun” I say giggling to myself. I finished my chapter while eating my sandwich, and thinking to myself. yes, my life is going to be quite exciting from here on out now that twilight is my official mother. Another thought crosses my mind. If twilight is a princess, doesn’t that make me royalty to am I a princess now what do this that even mean only time will tell.
It’s been over three weeks since I was officially adopted by twilight. Things have been going OK school is good I play with the Crusaders. It feels really nice to be a child and the fact that I get to grow up again it’s just the icing on the cake. Twilight is a really great mother. I wake up on my bed, looking at the ceiling as the sun comes through the window.
I yawn and roll over facing the wall the smell of pancakes Rouses me. I roll over off of the bed and land on my hooves and gently trot towards the door. Coming into the living room, I am greeted with twilight, cooking pancakes instead of spike.
“Wow what’s the occasion you never cook pancakes spikes the one who always does it” I say, as twilight turns around to face me with a big smile on her face.
“Well, good morning silver why don’t you come over here and take a look at this” she says, sliding an enveloped card on the table. I tried over and sit down at the table, taking the envelope and opening it, using my horn as a letter opener inside a find a birthday card. I look up at twilight who simply beams at me with a bright smile.
“go on read it silver” she says, putting a plate of pancakes on the table for me. I take the birthday card and open it and read it out loud.
“ happy birthday, Silver Gleam I know it has it been long and you’ve had it rough but I hope I can make it up to you as a great mom. You are a wonderful little filly you will be amazing happy birthday love Mom Twilight Sparkle” I say, wiping a tear from my eye as they look up at her.
“ this is so amazing Twilight. Thank you so much today is going to be the best day ever” I say, taking a bite of my pancakes. After breakfast, Twilight lets me go play with the Crusaders. I almost immediately notice some thing is off they’re hiding something sweetie Belle won’t look me in the eyes Applebloom has barely said a single word and scootaloo is distracted.
“ OK what’s up with you three you guys are hiding something aren’t you?” I say they look at me with shock, but quickly hide it.
“ no way we are definitely not hiding anything totally….hehe right girls?” Sweetie Belle nervously says to the others they simply not their head too nervous to speak.
“ right anyway let’s go to a Sugarcube Corner” I say, turning and heading towards pinkies place all three of the Crusaders yell out
“NO” Applebloom quickly counters with
“ uh um we mean no it’s too early for sweets don’t ya think perhaps we can ah go to sweet apple acres…and ..um get our cutie get a cutie marks in Apple bucking…hehehe” she says nervously. Now I know they’re hiding something. I get an evil smile before taking off at a full gallop. They don’t waste any time to give Chase. I’m not watching where I’m going and run right into another pony we both tumble to the floor.
“Oof ow silver you need to watch where you’re going that hurt” little pips says as he gets up off of me. I simply sit there, staring. This is the first time that I ran into a cult Sure, I’ve seen them around in Ponyville, and even in class at school, but not like this.
“I ..uh..I….um…uhhh” is all I am able to get out as I stutter completely red faced, The Crusaders, catch up with me and noticed the exchange. Sweetie Belle comes up and bumps me with her hoof to snap me out of it.
“Oh um sorry f..for running into you..p.p..pip” I stutter still blushing. He looks at me confused before nodding and walking away. I simply sit there, staring at the floor. I Applebloom comes up and sits next to me poking me with a Hoof.
“ silver? Ya OK we never seen you take off like that and …your face is all red…” she says I shake my head looking at her confused.
“ what no way I don’t know what you’re talking about anyway, what were we doing again? Going to sweet apple acres???” I say, and the three crusaders agree with that our little exchange with little PIP was forgotten as we continue on our way to the apple orchard. We proceed to help around the farm for a good two hours before Sweetie Belle says some thing about finally going to the Sugarcube Corner.
“ what’s with you guys first this morning he wanted nothing to do with Sugarcube Corner and now it’s the most important thing?” I ask, confused as we walk towards the gingerbread house. They simply shrug, but don’t answer. It didn’t take long for us to arrive at Sugarcube Corner. Upon entering the building we are greeted with a massive explosion of confetti and streamers as all of the mane six are sitting around a cake that says happy birthday silver Gleam on it.
Of course, it would be a pinkie pie party for my birthday something like that would definitely not go unnoticed. After the initial shock, we enjoy a great party. I stick close to Twilight as music plays, and we dance and eat cake. And then presents.
Rarity gives me. A new bow that is a dark purple color that matches my eyes. Rainbow gives me the first book of the new derring-doo series. AppleJack simply gives me brand new saddle bags made specifically for me. Fluttershy gives me a box of homemade tea. Pinky’s presents to me was simply the party and the cake and finally twilight who gave me a brand new first edition spell book specifically made for me filled with first level spells because she knew I wanted to learn magic.
After the party, I head home with twilight and her carrying all my presents in a magical aura. Once we make it back to my room, she places everything on the bed and gives me a hug tightly.
“ I hope you had a great birthday party silver I’m going to make you some thing special tonight. I just hope you like it. It’s a special kind of stew my mother used to make for me. Oh speaking of my mother I almost forgot to mention they were running a bit late, but my parents and my brother and my sister-in-law are going to be arriving tomorrow it’s going to be a little birthday party for you because they couldn’t make it today” she says as I open the daring do book and flip to page 1.
“ oh that’s great. A small family birthday party sounds perfect. Do you know when they are going to come tomorrow?” I ask her as she walks towards the door of my bedroom.
“ well mom and dad said they are going to be here around early morning but my brother and my sister-in-law so they won’t be making here until late afternoon. They are going to stay the night for two days before heading back to the Crystal Empire.” Twilight says happily.
“ all right I can’t wait this is gonna be the first time I get to meet your family huh Twi?” I say, giving her a cocky smile to which she simply nods her head yes.
“ OK silver I’m gonna go start dinner. I’ll call you when it’s ready.” I nod my head, yes, as I simply begin to read my new book. It is a simple miracle I am able to read this. In the world of my little pony, there are three ways of writing, Equish Griffoioum and draconic. Equish is the most common pony writing, which resembles English in letters and text. While Griffoioum resembles Egyptian symbols and draconic looks like scratches in stone. Needless to say I can only read. Equish I guess it’s a good thing that is the common text used in pretty much everything.
All and all I can say, without a doubt this was the best birthday. I’ve had in a long time not bad turning six in Equestria. I can’t wait for tomorrow where I get to meet twilight’s family or my family now i guess.
The next morning I wake up and come downstairs too twilight cooking pancakes again, but this time she’s making waffles. I can’t help but smile brightly as I sit down and start eating. The morning goes, normally twilight talks about what the day is going to bring and before I knew it, a knock on the door, startled both of us. Opening the door twilight is greeted by her parents, twilight velvet and nightlight. They push past twilight right up to me and envelope me in a tight hug .
“Ohhhh it’s so nice to have another grandchild. And you’re such an adorable little Philly silver. we’ve learned so much about you. It’s nice to meet you. I am twilight velvet or you can just call me grandma hehe.” She says, happily nightlight pitches in to save me
“I think you would want to let her breathe. The poor thing looks like she’s suffocating.” Nightlight says patting me on the head. Twilight velvet let’s go with me with a light blush on her face from embarrassment. to say new grandparents are a bit eccentric but they’re nice in general.
“Mom help me they are smothering me” I plead to twilight in a lighthearted manner. She simply shakes her head, smiling, walking over and sitting down next to me.
“ sweetie I should’ve warned you they can be a bit affectionate you’re gonna have to deal with it heheh” twilight says taking a bite of her breakfast.
“Twilight dear we won’t smother her. We are just so pleased to have a new grandchild speaking of grandchildren when is flurry, heart and shining armor and cadence coming?” Velvet says, taking a bite of her pancake.
“Oh I got a letter from them saying they were running a little late. They’ll be here around 10 maybe 11 it’s 8 o’clock right now so we got about a couple hours before they come” twilight says. I start reading my daring book while I continue to eat my breakfast.
“My, my This little one is a lot more like her mother in regards of reading while eating at the same time.” Nightlight petting my head. I didn’t think anything of it until twilight levitates the book away from me. She puts a bookmark in it and set it off to the side.
“ too much like me to be honest sorry sweetie no reading at the table we have company.” Twilight says giggling.
_______________ Few hours later________________
“And then she started crying because she didn’t want to leave. We were forced to get her a library card so she could come back anytime she wanted.” Velvet says, showing me a picture of twilight when she was my age. She had her nose in the air, sitting on the ground and turned away from the camera, refusing to leave the library.
“Wow funny thing is I’d probably do the same thing I really am like mom aren’t I? Heheheh” I says giggling at twilights red face. Finally some pony knocked on the door, allowing twilight to be excused. Opening the door revealed cadence, shining armor and flurry heart. Who all hugged her.
“BBBFF I miss you it’s been so long. How have you been?” Twilight says hugging her brother.
“Oh you know running the Empire etc. heheh” he says. And then twilight turns to cadence where they look at each other for a moment before reenacting a silly dance.
“ Sunshine sunshine, ladybugs, awake, clap your hooves, and do a little shake” they both say in unison. After which twilight and cadence, hugged and started talking about random stuff. Flurry heart had wandered over to me and extended a hoofing greetings.
“Hi I’m flurry heart we cousins apparently.” She says, and I shake her hoof.
“ silver and I guess we are. what is that dance that Mom and Aunt cadence did?” I ask her she just rolls her eyes.
“ that is just this silly dance that Mom and aunt twilight do when they see each other apparently it’s to make sure that they aren’t changings or something like that” Flurry heart says.
And like that, the rest of the morning went perfectly fine. I met my aunt and uncle and my cousin we talked hung out had breakfast and then we decided to play a boardgame. After a couple hours we decided to call it a day.
“Ok let’s see oh no go to jail do not pass go? That’s not fair.” I say complaining twilight pats me on the back.
“It’s OK sweetie. It’s just a game.” Twilight says as she collects the fake money for her turn. The game went as smooth after that as you would expect Twilight velvet one.
“ you’ve got to be kidding me Mom you always win every board game we put in front of you. It’s like some sort of special talent. It’s crazy.” Twilight says quickly backed up by shining armor, who agreed with her.
“Heheh could it be that you two are just not that good at boardgames? Hmmm~~” she taunted. After that, we proceeded to play for more board games of which twilight velvet one every single one.
Afterwords Grandma and grandpa left and then cadence and shining armor and flurry heart. At some point I learned that she is actually my age now six. But now that they are all gone, it’s just me and twilight and Spike. We decided to sit quietly and read for the rest of the afternoon. Twilight made an excellent vegetable stew. For dinner. And then we had the rest of the cake for dessert
After twilight tucked me in and like every night kissed my forehead right above the horn. Good night. all in all that was an amazing birthday with my family.
the next morning I went back to school. We were learning about the summer Sunset celebration. When I noticed pipsqueak looking at me. For whatever reason it made me blush and I looked away from him and he did the same. I got this feeling within my chest, my heartbeat faster, and I looked back at him blushing.
“ silver was it I wanted to say happy birthday Sorry it’s a bit late.” he says, smiling, which sent my heart fluttering.
“O..oh not it’s ok thanks p..p…pipsqueak” I stutter he giggles at that waving a hoof at me.
“Nah you can just call me Pip on my friends do.” hi shake my head yes only to be hit in the face with a piece of chalk.
“ miss silver gleam were you even paying attention or should I move you and pipsqueak apart? Miss Cheerilee says sternly.
“then pay attention, and you won’t have to move now where was I? Oh yes, during the summer sun celebration……” I tuned her out as I looked out the window thinking about what these feelings for Pip were and how I’m going to deal with it. I guess it’s something I’ll have to figure out in the future.
It has been a couple months since my birthday and everything is going fine. I’ve learned a lot more magic than I Thought I would and are getting really good at it. But that’s not what I keep thinking about. I keep thinking about Pip and these feelings that I have about him. I don’t know what they are, but they are there.
“ Silver, are you even listening? We’re talking about getting our cutie marks in Book organization, since you like books so much” Sweetie Bell says as she puts another book on the shelf. I shake my head snapping bacteria reality.
“Oh yeah Sorry Sweetie bell It’s just I can’t help but think about… Pip..” I say levitating a book over to Apple Bloom as she puts it on the shelf.
“Pip? What about him? You don’t have a crush on him do you?~~” Scootaloo says In a teasing manner while wiggling her eyebrows at me. My face immediately turns bright red, and I shake my hoof at her.
“WHAT No way at least I don’t think so but don’t go saying that to any pony You got it scoots?” I say in Nervous manner.
“Oof. yep Ya got it bad for him don’t ya?” Apple Bloom says Giggling. My face immediately turns bright red, and I jumped to my hooves.
“No, I do not. I’m telling you it’s not a crush.!” I say, as I stomp my hoof. Almost on queue, the door opens and twilight walks in.
“What is celestia are you girls Doing this room is a mess. You have books scattered everywhere.” She says looking at us sternly.
“We.. We are getting our cutie mark in organizing books…” Sweetie Bell says trying to calm twilight down But almost without warning, Scootaloo Points a huff at silver and says,
“Silver has a crush” Prompting me to spin around and glare daggers at her.
“Scootaloo I do not!!!” I say my face as red as a tomato. I turned around at the sound of twilight giggling.
“ My my Already found a fascination in stallions huh? We can talk about this later silver but first I need all of you to put those books back on the shelves right where you left them. I will fix it later.” She says turning and trotting away.
The cutie mark Crusaders left after we finished putting the book Away Still and no cutie mark unfortunately. I make my way into the living room With my latest romance novel as I sit down on the couch and flip it open.
“Romance That’s an interesting choice silver But I guess not unheard of, but why the sudden change if you mind me asking” Twilight as she looks up from her book at me.
“I don’t know just….. Stuff” I say flipping a page and continuing to read. Twilight stand up and trot over and sitting down next to me.
“You know, hun you can tell me anything?” She says Pushing some of my white main out of My eyes. My face turns a little little red as I look away.
“Sigh ok ok I may have a tiny Itty bitty little teeny weenie bit of a crush….on..on pip He’s a Cult In school… Although I don’t know how to feel about these feelings, I’ve never had these before and I don’t know what to do so I’ve been reading Romance novels” I say as my blushing has spread, and now my face is completely red She giggles and gives me a hug.
“Oh Silver I’m so happy for you at such a young age. You start developing your first crush. I’m not really want to talk because you know I am not really good with relationships like that but you should talk to applejack and Rainbow Dash. I mean they are dating so they would know more about this sort of thing than I would” She says, giving me one last hug before going back to sit down and read her book. After that, I continue to read my book for a little bit thinking on what twilight said. Maybe I will have a Chat With either applejack, Rainbow Dash, or both of them at the same time, I’ll have to think of it. That’s Future me’s Problem.
