Never Go In The Darkby JapillahChaptersChapter 2Chapter 3Chapter 4Chapter 1Chapter 2"Hi Sweetie Belle! I just wanted to make sure you were up for P-A-R-T-Y-I-N-G!" Pinkie Pie giggled, but it did not sound like the real Pinkie giggling. "Pinkie Pie? You don't sound like yourself.." Sweetie Belle groaned, almost fainting again. "Of course I don't, silly!" Pinkie Pie giggled more. "Are you sure.." Sweetie Belle, fighting her faintness, tried to walk straight, but she faced Pinkie instead. "I think I should be the one asking you that! Come on, let's give you a helping hand! You'll taste like candy! Hee hee hee!" Pinkie Pie lifted Sweetie Belle, but Sweetie Belle was sure she heard a you'll taste like, but she forgot the rest. She fainted after that, without noticing she was in a room she did not know. Her thoughts invaded her mind. Is this the mysterious door I've been seeing in my nightmares? It looks really familiar.. too. I know I've heard screaming and pleading in that door, but I just don't know yet, Sweetie Belle thought, her eyes in a blur as she wiped them with her hooves. Slowly, she saw a weird pack of blurry gray stuff on a black little desk that could roll. She also saw a weird pink blur, and was sure she saw a white blur on the pink blur, assuming it was teeth. Slowly by slowly, things began forming. Pinkie holding a knife in her mouth, and more horrifying objects on the black desk. Pinkie saw Sweetie Belle struggling to get out. "Oh Sweetie Belle, I just saw something wrong in your brain! I wanted to make sure it was A P-A-R-T-Y OF COURSE!" Pinkie's temper rose, assuming she was very excited. "Pinkie, no! There's no such thing!" Sweetie Belle said under muffled words by the tape. "Oh, what's that you say?" Pinkie giggled. "There's.. no.. way.. P-Pinkie would be like this!" Sweetie Belle gulped, trying to do her magic. But Twilight nor her sister, had not showed her. "NO," "NO..." Sweetie Belle barked. "What's with all the NO'S?" Pinkie Pie jumped up and down, about to slice Sweetie Belle's mane and cutie mark. Suddenly, a bright light began to transform around Sweetie Belle. It was not a black nor white color, but it was bright yellow. Soon, it had transformed her into Sweetie Belle Derelle. "AAAAAAAH OH CELESTIA IT'S PINKIE PIE AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Sweetie Derelle screamed as loud as she could, making Pinkie Pie's mane go up like a scaredy pony. "HWUAAAAAAAAAA!" Pinkie Pie gasped, jumping up. She trotted quickly to the entrance she could find, as Sweetie Derelle kept screaming as the walls opened to an orchid. Getting out of that basement, the yellow light formed again and she was back to Sweetie Belle. She sighed, and walked to the orchid. She saw two ponies fighting, one pale yellowish, and one orange. "AH TOLD YA TA FIND WHERE SWEETIE BELLE WAS, AND THEN NOW ME AND YA ARE STUCK IN THIS HORRIBLE FOREST!" The pale yellow pony argued with the other. "Well IT WAS my DECISION, and PLUS YOU were exactly the one to go in THIS forest!" The orange pony fought back. "Well see Y'ALL IN Canterlot!" The faint yellow pony angrily kicked the ground, but gasped when she saw Sweetie Belle. "It's Sweetie Belle!" "Oh! Sweetie Belle!" Scootaloo did a motion for Sweetie Belle. "Hey guys! Where have you been?" Sweetie Belle asked in a hopeless smile. "How 'bout ya?" Applebloom asked. "Well, long story." Sweetie Belle sighed. "Well, we must have been talking about you guys. What happened?" Sweetie Belle asked. "Uh, we sorta got in a figh'." Applebloom shrugged, looking at Scootaloo impolitely. "She started it!" Scootaloo pointed to Applebloom. "No I did not!" Applebloom nudged Scootaloo. "Oh, what's with all the ruckus?" Sweetie Belle plugged her ears with her hooves. "Oh.. well.. Ah'm sorry Scoots." Applebloom apologized to Scootaloo. "You should be!" Scootaloo crossed her forelegs. "Well AH'M never gonna be ya friend 'nymore!" Applebloom kicked Scootaloo and ran away to town. "Scootaloo! Look what you did, making Applebloom run into those ruins! We have to help her! She's our friend! And she's part of the Cutie Mark Crusaders!" Sweetie Belle yelled angrily at Scootaloo. "Not to me." Scootaloo grumbled, her face almost red from anger. "So now, you care about her? She's a "filly fooler", and she's mean!" "Don't you care about her? She's our friend, and she wouldn't try to hurt us, but nopony started it, so please understand, Scootaloo!" Sweetie Belle asked, trying to stand the tears falling in her eyes. Scootaloo sighed, and for at least three minutes, she calmed down. "Nopony harms our friends!" she kicked the ground. "That's the spirit!" Sweetie Belle smiled at her feathered friend, as they galloped and set out to find Applebloom. "In the hay? Why are y'all cornering me? Rarity, do you have the answers to this?" Applebloom asked, her voices muffled as she was tied to a chair, a rope in her mouth. "Oh no sweetie, it was kind of your sister's fault. But look how I made her perfect hat? Isn't it wonderful?" A gray Rarity stepped out of the shades. She looked like she had been working for weeks, her hair tossed around, and her hair very straight and had tiny fabrics on it. It was almost like her hair was almost burned, too. Her hair had kind of stitches on it, and she did not look like Rarity at all. But then, Applebloom got hypnotized as she looked at her own sister, Applejack. Applejack had a bitten hat, and it was not perfect at all. Applebloom's hair slowly turned to black and white, and now she was a part of this horrible place. The two galloped as fast as they could, as they got in their senses. They knew they only had to help Applebloom, but as thoughts flickered through Scootaloo's head, she also knew this was dangerous. Chapter 3"Hurry up already Scoo!" Sweetie Belle yelled. "Ugh, will you stop pushing me now? I know that I was rude and mean but, that doesn't mean you should be like that to me too!" Scootaloo rolled her eyes. "Well fine! You like picking fights don't you?" Sweetie Belle cried. "Of course I do! And you were OBVIOUSLY the first one to start it!" Scootaloo gritted her teeth. "Just say you're sorry and everything will be alright!" "THERE'S NO WAY I'M GONNA SAY SORRY WHEN YOU ARE FORCING ME TO!" Sweetie Belle finally yelled, tears welling up in her eyes. "HOW COULD YOU BE LIKE THIS?! HOW?!" "Well then, I'm sorry Sweetie Belle I never knew it would turn into this eventually. I was just trying to make a joke, then you took it all wrong like you did and scream at me for nothing." Scootaloo frowned. She was NOT happy with her friend. "I'M NOT TAKING ANY CHANCES TO ACCEPT YOUR DUMB APOLOGIES!" Sweetie Belle stepped up menacingly to her friend. "AND NOW I DECLARE WE'RE NOT FRIENDS ANYMORE!" Sweetie Belle started walking to the town that was once Ponyville, but now destroyed. Her hooves patted nicely on the ground. "Fine! Be like that Sweetie Belle, you'll know that you'll need me sooner in OUR adventure!" Scootaloo's voice trailed off as Sweetie Belle walked. "I-I'm sorry.." Sweetie Belle took a turn to the left, then another turn to the right, then another turn to the right again. She then spotted her sister's designing boutique and decided to go near it. But then she heard a very loud shriek as she passed the shop. "Hmm? I wonder what that is," Sweetie Belle rubbed her hoof through her mane. "I mean, so many bad things are happening here.. I wonder if it's also bad luck? Losing my friends, oh, and the biggest challenge of all was Pinkie Pie! What did happen to that silly pink earth pony?" "Well I guess I could take a peek in the basement--" There it came again. The shrill, high, shriek. "Seriously what is going on?" Sweetie Belle shouted angrily, her green antagonist eyes flashing angrily. "Wait, what happened to Applebloom?" Meanwhile.. "LET MA GO RARITY! AH'LL DO ANYTHIN'! PLEASE! LET MA GO!" Applebloom screamed. "So so sorry, but your pathetic freshly baked mane was honored for me to trim it with my new designing clothes. I'll even show you how your beautiful mane fits!" Rarity slightly grinned. "NO LET MA GO AH DON'T NEED Y'ALL'S DUMB EXCUSES!" Applebloom kept trying to escape. But her hands were glued to the blood that held her distance between the metal that kept her from escaping. "Mrrppffhh!" Rarity watched in pleasure as she watched the filly try to escape. "Trying to escape, are we?" Rarity flicked the lights off and grabbed a knife. It was bloody. "NO, DON' DO THIS TA ME!" Applebloom wrenched her hooves in pain. The knife shone in the darkness while a small, pale white light shone on it. "Get ready for the biggest thrill of your life, Applebloom. Oh and P.S, you WILL enjoy it!" A creepy grin crawled on Rarity's face. Just in time, Sweetie Belle peered in through the keyhole of her friend getting killed. Her eyes fluttered open in shock-- her sister was a killer? "YOU'RE ONE OF US NOW!" Rarity shouted with a smile on her face. Then she turned with a killer's creepy smile as she looked at the eyes peering through the doorknob. She knew them. They were familiar. AND THEY WERE HER SISTER'S! Sweetie Belle faced the killer who was her sister through the keyhole. But then she ran as fast as she could in terror. As she fled the house, she could hear a faint voice from the distance. It was Rarity's. "YOU CAN RUN, BUT YOU CAN'T HIDE!" Chapter 4Scootaloo ran breathlessly to Ponyville. She saw Sweetie Belle freaking out. "Guess what I saw, Scootaloo! Guess who!" Sweetie Belle cried. "No, that look in your eyes.." Scootaloo felt tears starting to fall from her pale orange cheeks. "It.. can't.. be.. right? You're joking me! All of this is a joke! A serious joke! And it's not creeping me out Sweetie Belle, no matter how you try--" "BUT IT'S TRUE!" Sweetie Belle shouted. "IT WAS TRUE!" "So, reality vs. dreams?" Scootaloo smiled. "WHY ARE YOU SMILING? THERE'S NO NEED TO BE SMILING IN THE KIND OF MOOD THAT I AM NOW!" Sweetie Belle yelled. "Alright, alright, chillax! Now that I know that this village is crazy unlike the other Ponyville we visited!" Scootaloo tried to go tangent. "So you know about it?" Sweetie Belle asked, her green eyes growing larger and larger. "I did once we came here and met RD," Scootaloo replied. She flipped her pink mane. Slowly, small hooves patted on the ground. They were making a rhythm, getting closer to the two friends. Then they really approached. "Hey CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS.. WHAT'S.. UP," Applebloom smiled at the two. Rarity was hiding in the bush waiting to attack. "Oh horseapples.." Scootaloo's jaw dropped open. "..and now you know about it." Sweetie Belle responded. The two both took off running. "Y'all can run, but ya can't hide!" Applebloom grinned. She turned around and faced Rarity, her new master. Then, to her surprise, Rainbow Dash came out of the bushes, with an insane smile. "GREAT JOB, 'Kiddo. But you won't be facing more easy challenges. Be prepared for the worst." Rainbow Dash patted Applebloom on the back. "Y'all mean ah didn't do good?" Applebloom felt a frown beginning to walk on her face. "Well, not that, I meant, I did say that, yeah." Rainbow Dash smiled embarrassingly. "W-well, I better get going, I think--!" Applebloom began to stomp her hooves angrily on the ground. "Bloom, don't worry, we'll get rid of her soon. But sometimes I get the feeling that she's like the others.." Rarity flipped her mane. Her dark purple mane was totally wet from the blood of Applebloom. "Say, can ya please KILL her now?" Applebloom asked, frowning once again. "I'm not sure about that, Applebloom.. I mean.. Dash is a really good friend, but she can really be a brat sometimes." Rarity hesitated for a moment. "I want her killed. NOW.." Applebloom gritted her teeth at Rarity. "Say that one more time and your mouth and lips will be stitched together." Rarity replied angrily. "Fine, fine, fine." Meanwhile.. "Scoo, do you think this is alright now?" Sweetie Belle brushed her curly mane which kept getting curlier with each stroke of her hoof. "Not yet, why take any chances?" Scootaloo responded. "After all, we're in the forest.. wait, I feel hungry!" "Ugh, you are such a failure!" Sweetie Belle began. "Don't bring it up again.." Scootaloo frowned and smiled menacingly. "Fine, dorkhead." "Dorkhead?!" Scootaloo yelled as if she were in pain. "Yes, Dorkhead." Sweetie Belle slapped her friend with a strong hoof. "NO WAY I AM COOPERATING WITH YOU NOW!" Scootaloo finally spit out. Chapter 1"Howdy Twilight!" Applebloom entered Twilight's house. "Oh hello there, Applebloom! I don't remember the last time you've been in the library with me." Twilight said, searching for a dictionary. "Well.. Is it okay if me, Sweetie Belle, an' Scootaloo go on an adventure?" Applebloom asked. "Will you repeat that again, Applebloom? I was too carried away trying to find my dictionary." Twilight turned around to face Applebloom. "Well.. Ah asked if me, Sweetie Belle, an' Scootaloo could go on an adventure, an' Ah didn't know if that was okay for mah big sis, or the other ponies. Sweetie Belle wanted me to talk to Rarity about this kind o' adventure but I figured out that it was much more easier to talk to ya," Applebloom explained. "Oh, okay. I'll tell all of the other ponies, okay?" Twilight put a bright smile on her face. "Okay, see ya Twi!" Applebloom trotted to the door as Twilight used her magic to open it. "Thanks ya Twi!" "Ugh! When is Applebloom gonna come already! It's been about A WHOLE HOUR." Scootaloo complained, playing with her hooves. "Oh come on Scoo, she might be coming in a second!" Sweetie Belle brushed her hair. It went straight, but curly again. "Hey! That's the third time you called me "Scoo" and it's getting PRETTY annoying," Scootaloo stomped on the grass. "Taloo, we are sitting under a tree, waiting for Applebloom. She's gonna be here in a second, just wait." Sweetie Belle laughed. "Here she goes again.." Scootaloo mumbled, listening to pony sounds on her Ponypad. "Dear Celestia! I can see a park over there!" Sweetie Belle jumped in excitement. "Hey, I thought we were waiting for Applebloom!" Scootaloo turned off her Ponypad. "Well, we can at least wait for her while playing in the park!" Sweetie Belle exclaimed, eyes twinkling at the sight of the park. "What if she can't see us, huh?" Scootaloo leaned her back to the tree. "Whatever, I'll just leave you there. See you!" Sweetie Belle winked. "Hey guys, I'm back! And anyways.. Ah told.." Applebloom walked in the street, seeing the figure of Scootaloo under the tree, but Sweetie Belle trotting to a park. "Twi.." "Hiya Applebloom!" Scootaloo shook hooves with the red haired pony. "Heya Scootaloo." Applebloom replied, also shaking hooves with the pink haired pony. "I'm so worried, Spike!" Twilight hugged the baby-looking dragon. "Chill out Twilight!" Spike struggled to get out of Twilight's reach. "Bleh!" Suddenly, Twilight remembered. "Oh right, I have work to do. I have to tell the other ponies," Twilight accidentally dropped Spike on the floor. "Ouch!" Spike made a mad face at Twilight. "Oops! I'm so sorry Spike!" Twilight giggled. "You.. you owe me!" Spike pointed at Twilight. In a flick, Twilight was gone as the door closed. "I hate losing." Rainbow Dash turned her head from another direction, not facing the other orange pony. "Aw Rainbow, you're a good sport! Ah'm just better." Applejack laughed. "Grrr! Don't get used to it AJ," Rainbow Dash walked angrily with Applejack. Applejack kind of ignored Rainbow Dash, proud of herself. "Hey girls! I need to tell you something!" Twilight walked politely with her hooves, almost near Dash and Applejack. "Howdy Twi," Applejack lifted her hat off her head. "Um, Applejack? Your sister asked me that she and her friends wanted to go on an adventure." Twilight embarrassingly smiled. "What is this Twilight, some kind of joke?" Rainbow weirdly exclaimed, doing a weird blah blah blah face of her own. "No, and also Rainbow, Scootaloo is also going on an adventure," Twilight sighed in tiredness. "Squirt? I think she can handle it on her own, with this orange pony nerd's sister. And also Rarity's sister," Rainbow flipped her rainbow mane. "Hey! Ah'm not a nerd, you are!" Applejack angrily kicked at Dash, but missed. "Ha ha!" Rainbow flew into the sky. Soon, she went down again and motioned for AJ to catch her. Applejack did, but always missed. "See? Pony nerds can't catch me!" Rainbow Dash went close to AJ. Dash suddenly stuck her tongue at AJ's face, THEN, actually, her tongue hit AJ's face. "Gross Rainbow!" AJ wiped her face on the ground. "Hahah!" Rainbow Dash laughed. Twilight stared in shock. "Dear Celestia Rainbow, YOU ARE WEIRD as horsecolors!" Twilight grabbed her book. "I'll see you guys later." Soon, Twilight had told Rarity, Fluttershy, of course Applejack, and of course Rainbow Dash, but not Pinkie Pie. Twilight had seen the reaction of Rarity, with a so pathetic look on her face. She walked to Sugarcube Corner, and finally saw Mrs. and Mr. Cake at the counter. "Why hello there Twilight, would you like anything? A cake or a cupcake?" Mrs. Cake exclaimed when she saw the purple pony. "I'm fine, but may I ask you where is Pinkie? I have to tell her something." Twilight smiled at the two, as the two returned a sincere smile. "She's up in her room, dear." Mrs. Cake smiled, returning the favor. "Thanks!" Twilight ran quickly up to Pinkie's room. She knocked quickly on the pink candy door. "Pinkie?" she asked. The door opened with a party decoration. "OH HI TWILIGHT! I was just making party decorations, because I totally knew that you were coming!" Pinkie Pie smiled. "Cool! But um Pinkie..?" Twilight asked. "Oooh! And I also have cupcakes, and why gingerbread ponies, and a gingerbread hou-" Pinkie jumped up and down. "Pinkie, I have to talk to you! Well actually, shh! But the cutie mark crusaders are going on an adventure, and I just wanted to tell you," Twilight whispered. "Well shh to you too, Twilight!" Pinkie copied Twilight. "Argh, goodbye now Pinkie!" Twilight opened the door with her magic. "So Sweetie Belle was going up that ruins park?" Applebloom asked. "Exactly," Scootaloo replied. "That's a mighty weird, Ah'd say." Applebloom replied. "I know." Scootaloo commented, bucking a tree also. "I thought we would never talk about THAT again," Sweetie Belle looked mysteriously at the two. "Oh, us? We weren't talking about your little walky to that ruined park." Scootaloo did a baby talk, and Applebloom giggled. Sweetie Belle probably ignored the two, because she just listened to the rustling of leaves on their walk to find a very weird place. Sweetie Belle never even talked to them ever again after that event. What seemingly sounded to be true.. After what seemed to be a town, the three followed the view, and saw a.. Ruined view. It was pale brown and black and white, containing all of the houses and objects. Even the whole sky was blue. But this town was exactly familiar to Ponyville. "What in the hay?" Scootaloo yelled, looking for a background that had color. But they were too far, and even her voice did not echo like in Ponyville. "Ahem, Sweetie Belle, ah must ask, do ya even know anything about this ruins-colored town?" Applebloom asked, digging her hoof in the ground. The unicorn shook her head, not knowing anything about this weird colored town. "Then, it's time for exploration, am I right?" A pale blue pegasus that had a pale rainbow-like mane exclaimed. She exactly looked like Rainbow Dash, but much paler. "Ra..Rainbow.. D-dash?" Scootaloo ran to the pale blue pegasus, hugging her. Scootaloo thought Rainbow Dash would hug her back, but to her surprise, the pegasus exclaimed a sentence without feelings or affection. "Welcome back, Squirt." The pale blue pony responded, no feelings or affection. Scootaloo quickly broke the hug, her face in shock. "What do you mean welcome back? I've never been here before." Scootaloo stared in shock at what she thought was her idol, Rainbow Dash. "You've never been here, oh come on Squirt. Don't act like that to your idol." Rainbow Dash flew around the town, dropping somewhere the ponies couldn't see her. "What's the matter with Rainbow Dash? She's never acted like that before.." Scootaloo spit into both her hooves, making them like what Applejack and Rainbow Dash did. "She does remember ya, but she ain't actin' the right way," Applebloom put a ponyband on her reddish-pink mane. Sweetie Belle opened her mouth to say something, but instead her jaws dropped open in shock when she thought she saw Applejack walking around in the same direction where Dash was. But the way she wore her hat, her smile was almost a crooked grin, and how her teeth were very sharp. They looked like sharp razor blades. Her pupils, weird, one very small, and one regular size. Sweetie Belle had fainted seeing the sight, and as soon as Sweetie Belle had, Applejack had waved goodbye to Rainbow Dash. Sweetie Belle, after a few minutes woke up. She stood up tall. Applebloom bit her lip, looking at Sweetie Belle. "Are y'all okay? Ya don't look fine.." she said worriedly that she and Scootaloo would be left on the trip. "Leave me alone.." groaned Sweetie Belle. Scootaloo turned around. "Why are you telling us to leave you alone, Sweetie Belle? We're your friends, right?" Scootaloo scratched her mane with her right hoof. Her mane got tangled up. "Not," Sweetie Belle replied in a faint voice as she drifted back to sleep again. "Whadda ya think we should do, Scootaloo? Should we collect some fresh cherry apples for Sweetie Belle, or should we explore this town a bit then come back to Sweetie Belle?" Applebloom asked. "Um, it's pretty hard to make a decision, but I think we should get some apples for Sweetie Belle," Scootaloo sighed. "Okay," Applebloom walked to a picnic basket, but it was black and white. She picked it up with her teeth, and gave it to Scootaloo. The two walked to everything and hoped to find a red apple hanging around on one of the trees. They searched until they gave up, but after the long search, they noticed themselves getting deeper and deeper into what seemed to be the Everfree forest! But after not noticing that it seemed to be the Everfree forest, they saw a big cherry apple tree that was colored, but not black and white. "Scootaloo? Applebloom?" Sweetie Belle snuggled up to the blanket she had been laying on. She slept for a few more minutes, but was very worried. Had her friends left her alone because of her rudeness? Tears rolled on her cheeks. Where are my friends? She thought. She soon awoke, not being able to sleep. Her heart was thudding against her chest, until she saw a pink figure around her. It looked like four figures of the pink pony was surrounding her, but she soon noticed it was Pinkie Pie, her hair very unusual from what it was before. It was straight, and it had no curls at all.
Chapter 2"Hi Sweetie Belle! I just wanted to make sure you were up for P-A-R-T-Y-I-N-G!" Pinkie Pie giggled, but it did not sound like the real Pinkie giggling. "Pinkie Pie? "YOU CAN RUN, BUT YOU CAN'T HIDE!"
Chapter 4Scootaloo ran breathlessly to Ponyville.
