The great war is over. Millions have perished on the fields on both sides but finally the changeling have imposed their hegemony to all on the continent. From the frozen north to the burning south, from the deepest jungles to the highest mountains, all is now under the mighty hoof of queen Chrysalis. But the occupation is far from an easy task. After a decade of desperately trying to pacify their conquered land, the changeling are still unable to destroy the resistance movements that have appeared on every corners of equus. Few are the creatures satisfied with the current state of things and silently but surely the idea of change as started to grow in many minds.

One of those mind is a changeling entrepreneur, Schach Spiel. He is far from blind to the failures of his race and quickly started to imagine new ways for this world. Through the years he created himself a massive web of spies and contacts throughout the hegemony. In the shadow of the changelingia, his conspiracy has taken roots in the mind of many and many creatures. When the time will be right this conspiracy will be the one rising. All he need is spark to ignite the powderkeg and bring light back to Equus.
