Doomquestria (A MLP Fan Series)

It was just turning day as the two ponies rounded the hill. Below them laid the ruins of a mighty city.

“That’s fillydelfia?” Nitebeat asked as she gazed around at the ruins. Ash and soot coating all the crumbling buildings. Whatever remained was clearly burned to a crisp long ago.

“It was… I think? I’ve never been good at history…” Bandit said, unsure of wethr it is or not.

Nitebeat laughs.

“Should we go down there?” She asked bandit.

“Well, That depends.” Bandit responded.

“On What?”

“whether or not the rebellion is there.”

Nitebeat shrugged, responding “Then Yes, I believe we should. Can't be sure until we check, right?”

Bandit nodded before leading the way. Both ponies trot down the sloop making their way into the ruins of the once prosperous city of fillydelfia. As they trot down the road, they hear a shout to the left of them.

“What do you mean?!?” A Voice shouted. A Voice all too familiar to the two ponies.

“Exactly as I said, so long as she lives, that book can’t be touched!” Another said, her voice laced with ice cold malice, as if she wasn't pleased with the others questioning.

“Then we kill her!” Said the first.

“ No! You know what will happen to us if we kill her…”

Nitebeat and bandit creep towards the source of the voices. Turning a corner they spot two ponies sitting by a fire. One hidden by a brown cloak, the other wearing deep purple Changeling armor embedded with rubies. Next to them lay Charlotte, Still gagged and tied up in a cage.

Bandit and Nitebeat sqeaked.

“Charlotte!” They both almost shouted.

“Then we- hold it, I heard something…” said the armored changeling.

Both get up and turn towards the source of the voices. They spot bandit and Nitebeat at the edge of their camp. The Hooded one turning invisible, General Fang pulling out his crossbow.

“YOU! So you followed us here…” said Fang, ready to kill them.

Nitebeat steps forward, her spear floating towards fangs throat.

“ Let Charlotte go!” She said, her voice full of determination.

“ Hahaha! I’m afraid we can’t do that…” Fang said in amusement.

“Then die!” Nitebeat screamed.

Nitebeat shoots Fang with a laser from her horn, paralyzing him.
Suddenly, a blue beam of light blasts Fang and teleports him away. Leaving Nitebeat puzzled.

Suddenly the air in front of Charlotte shifts and the Hooded Mare stood in front of her.

“So… your the two ponies this filly won’t shut up about? I must say, not what I expected…” the hodded mare snorted.

“Well then, how about we show ya just what we can do! Bandit?” Nitebeat turned to Bandit, pointing towards the Hooded pony.

“With pleasure.” Bandit takes aim at SnowFrost and shoots a dart at her. The dart bounces off an invisible shield.

“ What the-?” They both said in surprise as the bullet roles away.

“Hahahaha! Did ya really think I wouldn’t see that coming? Why don’t ya have a taste of what I have to offer.”

The mare then blasts bandit with a lightning laced beam, bandit screams in pain as the shock stunned her. Her body collapses to the ground.

“Bandit!” Nitebeat screamed, rushing to her friends aid, her horn glowing red with magic.

“Snort. This is getting tiresome.” The Hooded mare said as she calls forth magic and begins to blast Nitebeat. Suddenly a tan Pegasus drops out of the sky, kicking her side and nicking her into a building wall. The Hooded mare grunting as she landed hard with a thud.

“ Ha! Eat that!” The Pegasus said, grinning, before turns towards Nitebeat.

“Hey there, the names-”but before he could say his name he is Then blasted by a blue beam. Sending him barreling into the clouds. SnowFrost gets up, weakened and clearly pissed. A snicker of amusement on her face as she watched the Pegasus go flying. She then turns to Nitebeat and blasts her! The beam hits her and knocks her into a telephone pole, cracking it upon impact. The pole hits her skull and knocks her unconscious as SnowFrost teleports away just as Valico attempts to attack her. Stopping, Valico turns and flutters towards the two ponies who were fading into unconsciousness.

“Buck! We need to get you guys out of here!”
