"Two weeks and nothing." Rainbow Dash complained. It had been two weeks ago that day since Derpy Hooves and herself had "seen" the human, well a dark cyan, cutie markless Pegasus standing in the dark. Two weeks since the humans body went missing and two weeks since any word from princess Celestia had been sent. It was raining outside and Derpy had come over to Rainbow's cloud house and was staring outside, she hadn't lost hope, not for a second, each day believing that human saviour would return. Rainbow knew they hadn't seen him, and that he wasn't alive. Twilight had said so herself.

"Look Rainbow, that couldn't have been the man, I can feel the Elements weakening everyday, well, Sacrifice anyway." The unicorn had said. Apparently the magical energies of the humans Element has risen ten fold when he had shot Discord and himself of the Tip of the World. But now, now Sacrifice, and the Elements are failing. I don't think Harmony or Equestria, or both could survive any sort of threat."

"Is there no word on finding his body?" Rainbow had asked.

"I haven't heard from Celestia, or Canterlot at all. I'm worried." Twilight replied, Spike had gotten ill very suddenly and had no way to send letters to Canterlot so Twilight had just given up and was in the dark.

"Couldn't you just teleport the letters yourself?" Rainbow Dash asked. Twilight shock her head sadly.

"Its dragon magic. Using a teleport of that length would probably kill me. Spike is the only one with strong enogh magic. I searched every book shelf and nothing! Some old books here and there, one even gave mention of a certain Cloudsdale rainbow factory and the killing of innocent-"

"Stick to the point Twilight. How are we finding out about Canterlot?" Rainbow interupted quickly.

"The only way is to get there by foot and find out. Oversize, we're stuck."

Rainbow laughed, that conversation had been over a week ago. Now rain was falling and Derpy still stood at the window. Rainbow Dash flow over to the grey Pegasus and put a hoof on her shoulder. There were tears in her eyes again and just as she was about to give up, there was a flash of lightning.

"Rainbow!" Derpy shouted, similing, wait, Derpy was happy? Rainbow Dash ran over and Derpy flapped her wings.

"I saw him! Down there! I saw him!" Derpy shouted. Sadly, Rainbow doubted it but would let Derpy have this moment of happiness, even if it meant more heart break. The pair flow out of the cloud home and out into the rain. It was pitch black outside and Rainbows mane got soaked instantly. The two flow to where Derpy thought she saw the human, they called his name into the darkness. Nothing.

The two called out for at least an hour, then Rainbow started to shiver and shake, rubbing her hooves together to try to keep warm. Derpy was also shivering and cold, but still called out, ocasionally walking around to try to find any sign of life.

"Come on D, lets get you inside." Rainbow said suddenly, Derpy's ears deflated and her Derped eyes got worse. She nodded slowly and the two flow back up inside the cloud, not knowing they were being watched by a figure in the tree line.

The next day the two flow down from the cloud, the rain had cleared some time during the night, Derpy had stayed round again, sleeping in the humans old room, but Rainbow didn't mind. Derpy needed somepony to talk to. The ground was covered in mud and puddles lay everywhere, some trees had been struck by lightning and fallen down burnt. Rainbow flow above whilst Derpy looked around, Rainbow wasn't sure what to expect to find but it was worth looking, even if there was no chance of-

"Hood prints!" Derpy shouted out. Rainbow slowly flow over as Derpy showed a track in the ground of pony hoof prints. The track lead away from the tiny hill bump into the tree line of a little park. Derpy stared in wonder, but the prints could be any pony's.

"Rainbow, place your hoof on that." Derpy ordered suddenly. Rainbow gave a blank stare at the Pegasus for an explanation.

"Celestia made the human, practically you right?" Derpy asked. Rainbow nodded, still confused.

"Well that means your hoof will be the same size as his and no other pony's. So, put your hoof inside this one." Derpy ordered again and Rainbow sort of understood. She put a hoof in, it fit the shape. Derpy nodded and looked to see which way the trail went.

"Derpy. It could still be any pony's, don't keep following ghosts." Rainbow said, not meaning to say it allowed. A tear rolled down Derpy's check and she nodded, but continued down the track after the hoof prints. Rainbow sighed and followed. Ready for another onslaught of tears. Rainbow, despite everything, admitted to missing the human. Not openly, but she missed him. Rainbow laughed, she had cried with Derpy for hours the first day. Everypony had. The alien hero had fallen, shot miles from his own rainboom. Rainbow had to admit, the human was pretty awesome, giving off a rainboom like that. Rainbow realised Derpy was really far ahead so the cyan Pegasus flow to catch up.

The two wondered after the trail until they reached the edge of the Everfree forest. Darkness shadowed the area of dense, dark, damp trees . Rainbow hated the idea of the Everfree and was about to suggest going home when she realised Derpy was already inside. Still following. Rainbow questioed everything going on but decided to keep them personal, for Derpy's sake.

"Why would you go into the forest?" Rainbow asked no pony. Then stepped in to catch up to Derpy, again.

"Hey Rainbow Dash. Do you think he will be okay in here?" Derpy asked, not one of the first questions Rainbow thought of but this was the madly in love Derpy Hooves.

"He single handedly killed a god, fell thousands of feet in a matter of seconds and if this is him, survived. I'm sure he will be fine." Rainbow replied, fake similing  to brighten Derpy's fears. They continued on after the hoof prints.

After another hour or so of walking the hoof prints became more fresh, like the human, if it was the human, had stopped to let the two catch up. Rainbow didn't like that idea, but kept walking, keeping Derpy safe from any harm. The sun was getting in through some of the trees but the place looked as depressing as ever. They kept walking, Rainbow looking for any dangerous, or non dangerous movement in the tree line. Rainbow had no idea which way was home anymore and would need to rely on wing power for the return trip.

Suddenly, the tracks lead to a bush, they are very fresh. Derpy giggles and pushes the bush apart, there, standing blood and wet, without a cutie mark and a make shift cast around his dark cyan wing. Stood the human.
