I was confident when I was drafted, I knew what I had to do, and my patriotic fervor was at an all-time high, and that gave me confidence, blind and ignorant confidence, however, I ignored it to my heart's content.
But life has a way to punch you off your feet, and I experienced this firsthand when things did not go our way.

But not all was bad, I still think my decision was the right one, and so far, I am not complaining.
