You've committed the ultimate sins, Sombra!
Satan, the devil horse, is seen watching over the millions of souls in the caverns of hell. Various souls of the deceased are flying in his hindsight, as he watches from his throne of solid black shadow. He groans in boredom at the sight of them flying here and there. When would God send a soul down to Hell for him to torture? More like I need to torture more new souls, depending on the sins they committed. I know the Lord will declare something.
"Ponykind suffer broad situations of sin constantly. So, when they die, will Messiah declare to send them to my realm? I hope to receive some additional tainted, tempted souls", he declares to himself. As Satan puts his hoof to his head to continue his train of thought, a shadowy blur of a spirit slowly ascends down.
A black shadow spirit, I know this pony. Satan takes his hoof from his head to get a look at the soul enveloping in front of him. The shadow fuses, eventually forming into a unicorn with a gray coat.
"Ah, Sombra. The pony I didn't want to be sent to my realm. What brings you here?" Satan condescendingly declares as he adjusts himself to sit more upright on his throne.
"God won't allow me into fucking Heaven, that's what!" Sombra shouts.
"The Lord can hear you, ya know, you shouting bitch". Enraged at the cunning, mysterious demon, Sombra begins to leap at him. Once Sombra thinks he's close enough to the demonic entity in front of him, he takes a punch towards the demon's cheek. Sombra's hoof touches the demon's cheek very hard. Satan, however, is unaffected as his cheek shows no impact. Since he's a creature of hell, immortal, Sombra's punch has no harm to his face.
"For fuck's sake?! Why didn't that punch affect you?!"
"I'm a spirit, punk!" Satan says certainly, as he begins to get up from his throne. He then throws a punch at Sombra's face violently, his payback for attempting to punch him just now. Satan then claps his two hooves together, as he's on his forehooves, and his orange bright flames quickly slither. The flames spell FUCK YOU! as it slithers, spelling the word for Sombra to notice.
"I am immortal imbecile, don't forget that!!" Satan's red eyes glow, as he levitates Sombra and throws him towards the walls of his realm.
"Welcome to hell, Sombra! BASTARD!!"
Sombra struggles to get himself up. "How are you so strong?!" Satan trots up to him, eyes still glowing with slight rage. "I am a dark angel, it's a secret". The dark horse of hell trots away from Sombra and sits back on his throne.
"Why am I here, is the question", Sombra tells Satan. Satan points to a vast book within walking distance, then beckons his head left without saying another word. The deceased Sombra trots to the book before him, arriving in front of the book in a few seconds.
Septem Mortiferum Peccatorum.
Sombra reads the strange title on the cover, then looks towards Satan uncertain. "Aren't ya gonna say something now? I can't read that strange language on the cover."
"You jackass, it translates to Seven Deadly Sins. You committed at least more than one of those sins listed in that book. Open it and read the ultimate sins you committed when you were alive", he says as he faces hoofs.
Sombra hesitantly reaches a hoof to the book's right side. He slowly opens the cover to a blank introduction page and then tries to turn to the next page, but the rest of the pages are blank. ’ What?’ Sombra thought. While sitting on his throne, Satan claps two hooves together to signal the book to reveal Sombra's first committed sins; Pride and Wrath.
Satan cunningly gazes at his left hoof, admiring its hypnotizing darkness of beauty. "Once a mighty villain who never showed care for others, only cared about himself. You sure sinned with pride". As he views the silent, animated replay of his conquer and overthrow of the Crystal Empire. Sombra cannot help but merely scoff, at the animated replay of his life memory.
"I decided to overthrow Princess Amore when I got older. When I grew into adulthood, I was tempted, due to my obsession with dark magic. Due to my pride and wrath, I turned her into black crystal. Eventually, she shattered her black statue, out of anger, for making me decide to attend a positive event such as the crystal fair”. Sombra recalls.
Satan sits up. "You played with your desires, chose the dark side, chose power over pony kind. You were selfish, cruel, cold-hearted, and dishonest when you were alive. Did you not realize that inside yourself? You are one of the most despicable spirits I have ever talked to, during my long time reign in Hell". At hearing the word "spirit", Sombra takes a few seconds to process what is going on with himself. He tries to feel around his entire body to see if he is still in the flesh. Unfortunately, his body is nothing but a shadowy mist. His soul had left his physical body when he was defeated by the Mane 6. I don't have flesh anymore. I did die, my soul is still fresh after having risen from my body!
Satan laughs. "Now you only realize that your soul has passed on.".
Sombra turns from looking at his new form towards the horse devil. He then gives himself a moment to observe the master of hell's appearance. Atop his head, he possesses a flowing, misty black mane with a dark, gray coat - with a hint of blue. Satan's horse form reveals his figure as buff since he is a horse of regular stature, unlike the ponies of Equestria, who possess more otherworldly features.
"You have a point there", Sombra says with defeat, in his voice. Once snapping out of his observing trance of the demon. Is he done admiring me? Satan thought, as he rolled his red eyes in the opposite direction.
"Anyways, what else do I have to look at in that peculiar book?" he asks. Satan uses a hoof to gesture the page to turn, as he silently observes what Sombra's doing. The book's pages turn quickly, revealing Sombra's third sin, Greed. The word then appears in an extravagant, medieval-looking font with black ink.

"Greed?! There is no possibility I committed such", Sombra gasps, as he glances at the fancy writing on the paper. Satan sits in silence again as he claps his two hooves together, to reveal another animated memory of Sombra's.
"Here we go again", the former lord-of-darkness says as he rolls his eyes.
IN SOMBRA’S BRIEF MEMORY
Sombra is seen using his dark magic to place helmets atop every crystal ponys' face. He is chuckling evilly, as the Crystal citizens raise their hooves in agony at the masked helmets over their heads. Enchanted headwear tainted with his forbidden power, every pony’s red eyes glow, indicating they’re in their wicked emperor’s control. ‘No, this cannot be happening?!’ the crystal citizens thought in agony. A once-alive Sombra cackles much louder as he enjoys the view of them suffering inside their helmets of control.
‘Just how I like it, those imbeciles of citizens under my wrath’, he thinks to himself. With their homes, family members, crops, and currency seized by their self-crowned ruler, there seemed to be nothing else the crystal citizens could retrieve from him.
With their helmets' eyes glowing red, they must face the violent, somber wrath of King Sombra. He then orders his new slaves harshly to march on forward continuously.
"Seems to me you seized their currency, their family members, crops, and their homes. The only thing the memory is not showing me, is what your actions led to afterward". Satan observes as he puts his hoof to his chin.
"The hell, this is fucking bullshit. No way I did such a thing", Sombra scoffs. The demon horse then eyes him with intensity. "One must never use the word of the realm they are already in".
"What's wrong with me saying it?!" Som said, with a slightly angrier demeanor. At hearing Sombra talk back to him, Satan's bright red eyes glow much more immensely than they did prior. The Hellish Demonic Horse arises from his eerie throne and flies himself towards Sombra's way. At that, the coldhearted black unicorn looks up startled. Satan is flying much closer to him, almost five feet away from his usual spot - his throne. He eventually arrives directly in front of Sombra.
“Like using God’s name in vain”, Satan says, somberly.
Perplexed, Sombra gives the demonic horse an eerie smile. “Who’s God?” Enraged at his question, Satan immediately flies towards him, underneath him, a puff of red smoke. This time, the demon puts his face much much closer to Sombra’s. A deceased Sombra begins to slowly back away from Satan, feeling startled by Satan's close contact with his face. Satan grins at him directly, with his muzzle still close.
"Who's God, you ask?!" Satan yells profusely. "He's the Alpha and Omega, he is timeless, he is an unconditionally loving God". Shocked at the fallen angel's positively charismatic praise towards the Heavenly Father, Sombra raises a brow. "Why do you praise Him with such passion?" At that declaration of idolization towards God, Satan immediately turns away from Sombra. "You don't wanna know." His red-orange-yellow flames slightly disintegrate.
"Did you get exiled from Heaven?" Sombra asks, now showing concern for him, which he shouldn't be expressing.
"Not exiled, cast out. Being exiled from Heaven is different than being cast out. If you are exiled from Heaven, God can send you to a desolate place far from Heaven's reach. While 'cast out' means that I've been banished from the sky to the earth", the demonic horse explains. "Once I was out of Heaven permanently, I've been taking over this realm ever since."
"I see". The immediate, then sudden secondary change in Satan's emotions made Sombra deeply connect with the demonic entity of the Hell Realm. But beneath that inner connection towards Satan's origins, Sombra's heart knew Satan hated all once living beings on earth.
' He despises my guts and mere spiritual existence in his realm', Sombra thinks.
"I can hear your every thought of me, wench!" Satan growls. "Forget that I ever declared praise to the Almighty!" He then soars from Sombra's direction back to his throne. Within moments later, he's sitting down after landing atop the seat in a puff of red aura and slight black smoke. Satan then puts one of his hooves over his eyes to compose himself for a second.
"I despise every part of you Sombra, remember that", the Devil says. "I encourage and tempt others to steal, kill, and murder for their self-gain. I turned other pony kinds against God. The purpose was to test their faith and see if the followers would worship the true Messiah instead of a false one."
"Faux Messiah? Who is that?" Sombra inquires with curiosity.
Satan puts a hoof to his chin and turns himself over, that way he's sitting to his left. "Jesus Christ is who I am talking about for fuck's sake". He gives Sombra a slight scowl.
"Jesus Christ, as in the Son of God, the one who was crucified in the Bible?"
"Yes", he says. Then raises a slight, harry eyebrow at the deceased Sombra. Satan turns his head slightly to make eye contact with him. "Now this is peculiar, why do you know who the Messiah is and what he suffered for you?" Realizing he uttered something he once knew, Sombra quickly uses his hoof to cover his muzzle.
"Earlier, why did you ask me who God was when you already knew?" Now Satan felt skeptical. "I know when souls like you pretend to play dumb."
Sombra stands on his two hind legs and puts his two front hooves to his face. "Alright, you got me! I'm an ex-Christian, that's how I know!" The devil horse's muzzle hangs open ajar for a second, before closing it to put himself back together. As Satan watches two front hooves waving around in opposite circles, he scoffs once more.
"You look like a fucking shit when you do that", Satan points out. At the remark, Sombra rolls his eyes as he looks away from the devil, and sits down on his flank.
"You're a former Christian, how come you didn't mention it once your soul entered my realm?" Satan says as he readjusts his posture.
"Listen here devil, there was no need to mention it at all once my soul got sent here", Sombra hollers softly.
"Why did you choose sin and let darkness into your heart then? Hmm?" The devil horse asks. "And commit Greed, Wrath, and express Pride when you were living?"
"I chose sin over living a Christian life because I was tempted by you. IT'S YOUR FUCKING FAULT SATAN!" Sombra cries as he sheds a slight tear.
"Ahem, it wasn't my fault. You are so foolish, Sombra. One of my demons corrupted your heart, I wasn't there before you turned to the dark side".
Sombra eventually continues to cry to himself as Satan watches with evil glee. Seeing ponies tortured in the Pools of Fire was the devil horse's enjoyment. As the once mighty Sombra continues to cry, his ears perk at the many souls screaming in agony. ' I hear the souls of the ponies burning in the pool of fire. Feels agonizing and torturous'. Satan is still seen smiling at Sombra's sadness. "Now you realize what Hell is really like", the devil horse snickers. "I make you relive not only your worst fears but torture you with your past for all eternity".
"Crying makes you look weak, but I like seeing souls like you sad!" Satan laughs evilly. "Emotional suffering of yours is my entertainment". He licks his lips.
Once Sombra's tears died down, he looked up to Satan and then back at the pool of fire. He knew his fate, for his soul would suffer in the pools of fire forever. His spirit will be a mere wanderer in Hell, continuously questioning his choices. But where is Sombra's spirit? Sombra's soul and spirit came down to Hell with him, not to Sombra's knowledge.
"If my soul is down here, where is my spirit?" Sombra asks as he looks around for his other out-of-body being.
"Your spirit had been thrown into the river of fire by the Messiah. Your spirit wasn't with you when you were cast down here, dumbass", Satan replied, as he pointed east.
If only I had turned to the Lord more in prayer for guidance and wisdom, I wouldn't have ended up in this realm to suffer forever. I chose darkness over light, for it was this choice that I made for myself.
Satan adjusts himself until he is sitting with his back straight, with his two hooves properly in front of him. He's going to chase after his spirit, I know he will. He watches as Sombra begins to raise himself. Sombra then walks towards his throne. Once he's four inches from Satan's throne, he bows down to him in respect and makes his way east - in search of his missing spirit.
"Thank you for making me realize why I've been sent down here", Sombra says thankfully. The devil horse gives the soul-searching Sombra a slow blink. Sombra takes a slow blink as yes and continues on his way until he is out of Satan's sight.
I will suffer with my soul and spirit in the Fires of Hell.
Aftermath.
Sombra walks East as Satan directed, past the torches lining the very crusts of Hell's ground walls. He continues his way down the lighted hallway - until he comes across an opening in the distance - which glows a red-yellow-orange aura immensely bright in sight. Sombra follows the torched aura. Once he gets closer to the glowing source, it whispers. "Sombra, come into the fire".
Sombra felt himself jitter, for he disliked the sound of the unknown voice drawing him to where he was going to spend.
' I am getting close' he thought. He finally arrives at an entrance with no door. This must be it, the entrance to the River of Fire where all souls are punished to relive their past and their mistakes. I couldn't redeem myself in heaven, for I was denied on Judgement Day.,
He enters and walks toward the edge of the blazing river. The fiery river changes to a dark turquoise in front of Sombra. As he looks down, he doesn't hesitate and jumps in. As he's swimming, he takes the time to find his missing spirit. He feels himself disappear as he slowly blends in with the fire.
Psalms 9:17
The wicked go down to the realm of the dead, all the nations that forget God.
End.
