Princesses Celestia and Luna are planning to retire and pass the throne to Twilight and Storm, with their friends and families helping them to prepare for becoming the new prince and princess. Meanwhile, Glacio hopes to capitalize on this by summoning all the remaining villains to help him in his plan to conquer Equestria, as he also seeks an ancient relic called the Bewitching Bell. Eric and his friends must rely on each other now more than ever before so that they can protect Equestria once again.

This story is set during Season 9.
