Chapters “Yo rare! You ready for summer camp?” Rainbow exclaimed with enthusiasm, her voice brimming with excitement as she talked with Rarity over the phone. The two friends had been eagerly preparing for their summer camp. Rarity had planned to attending a beauty camp, while Rainbow Dash was excited about going to a high-energy sports-themed camp.
“Almost, AHH I’m so excited!” Rarity screamed. She couldn’t hold it in. As Rarity packed additional clothing and beauty supplies, she couldn't help but gush to Rainbow about the things that awaited her at the beauty camp.
“Oh, Rainbow, darling! You simply won't believe what there at this camp! Manicures, heavenly spa treatments, and the chance to learn the latest makeup techniques from beauty experts. It’s anything you can think of!" Rainbow giggled. She knew for sure Rarity was giving a big smile behind the phone screen. But Rainbow also couldn’t help but talk about her summer camp.
“Oh, Rarity, you have no idea how stoked I am about my camp! It's all about intense training, awesome challenges, and pushing my limits. I'm ready to show everyone who’s boss! You'll see me breaking records left and right!" She had everything ready and sitting on a chair nearby the door.
“Hurry Rarity! I want us to meet up at the same time!” Rainbow hollered. Knowing Rarity, she takes forever on EVERYTHING.
“Yes yes! Let me just get my-“
“You probably don’t need it. Start walking!” Rainbow interrupted. Rarity stood still for a second in hesitation but shrugged. Rainbow was right, she didn’t need it.
Rainbow had paid an uber to drop them off at their busses. The pickup wasn’t far from Rainbow Dash and Rarity so they just needed to walk.
“Okay, I’m on my way now,” Rarity said. Rainbow can hear her leaving the house and the breeze corrupting the noise quality. Rainbow also started walking to their pick up.
Rainbow and Rarity saw each other walking from the opposite side of the streets. They rushed over to each other and held each other’s hand until screaming and jumping up and down.
“I’m sorry I’m just too excited!” Rarity shrieked. She put her hands on her cheeks still beaming a smile. Rainbow pulled out her phone and checked the uber app.
“That uber better get here soon, we don’t have all day!” Rainbow Dash announced.
Few minutes past by while Rarity and Rainbow still discuss about their summer fun that awaits them. Rarity was showing pictures of the camp on her phone to Rainbow Dash, still not getting over her excitement. Rainbow Dash in her normal nature, started bragging about how she will beat everyone in every challenge at the camp.
A white camry pulled in front of them.
“Are you Rainbow Dash?” A middle-aged looking man asked, holding up his phone.
“Yep!” Rainbow said. She opened the car door for Rarity, she stepped inside and so did Rainbow Dash.
“Is this the right address?” The man showed his phone to Rainbow Dash. She leaned her head towards the screen.
“Yep,” She nodded her head. The man put his phone down and started driving.
Rainbow had a small smile on her face, being in a great mood. She looked over at her right to see Rarity giggling on her phone, texting someone.
“Who you texting?” Rainbow asked. She made sure she didn’t sound nosy so the atmosphere doesn’t change.
“It’s just Fluttershy dear. I’m telling her we are on our way to the bus,” Rarity said, still giggling and not taking her eye off her screen.
“Oh, cool,” Rainbow said.
“Oh oh! Look at this dress Rainbow, I’m definitely taking inspiration from this!” Rarity pointed at her phone while shoving the screen to Rainbow’s face. She backed away and smiled. Seeing her friend act like other one in particular made her excitement have a boost.
“We gonna call each other every night right?” Rainbow asked, pushing away the phone. Rarity nodded rapidly.
“Of course!” Rarity scoffed. “Why wouldn’t we?”
Rainbow laughed in response. The car stopped to a sidewalk, lined up with multiple cars of people getting their belongings. Rarity and Rainbow Dash stepped out the car and got their bags from the trunk. They thanked the driver and head to the busses.
Rainbow Dash and Rarity looked around frantic. Rarity kept looking up and down while Dash kept scanning her surroundings, hoping to catch a glimpse of her bus. The girls had parted their way to go to their assigned busses. The area was bustling with people, each rushing to catch their respective rides. Rainbow Dash's frustration was mounting, her body twitching with impatience.
Rainbow Dash picked up her phone to call Rarity.
“Are you on your bus? I cant seem to find mine,” Rainbow Dash said with a hint of frustration and worry. A short pause came from Rarity ends, the wind entering the phone line.
“No,” Rarity said. “No I can’t seem to find mine either.”
Rarity sighed, adjusting her designer sunglasses and tapping her perfectly manicured fingers on her phone screen. "What is your bus number?"
“16,” Rainbow answered. Another pause was made as Rarity went and double checked her bus number on her phone.
“Mine is 15,” Rarity said. “Uhm, what section are you at darling?”
“Honestly I’m not sure-“ Rainbow cut off her words as her eyes landed on a sign with numbers 20-40.
“Ugh!” Rainbow groaned. “I’m in the wrong fucking section! Some guy leaded me to the wrong one!”
Rarity put her phone down and walked up to someone.
“Excuse me,” Rarity started. “Do you happen to know what section this is?
The women pointed up at a sigh that stated 1-10.
“Oh, thank you!” Rarity giggled in embarrassment. She held the phone up to her ear and spoke.
“It’s okay darling. I’m in the wrong section too, perhaps I went a bit too far,”
“Alright let’s just go to our section before they leave us!” Rainbow quickly said. Rainbow hung up the call, quickly grabbing her stuff and headed towards section 10-20.
Rarity and Rainbow Dash see each other at the other end of the street, just like earlier. They walked up to each other and sighed.
“We are in the right section right?” Rarity asked. She looked around to find less people. Everyone must have gotten in their bus.
“Yeah, we are,” They were only a few more people left. Both of the girls started panicking. Since Rarity was in the left side, she went diagonal from her position, Rainbow Dash did the same thing. They got into their bus just as the door closed. In unison, Rarity and Rainbow Dash settled into their seats on the bus, they finally had a moment to catch their breath. Rarity picked up her phone and texted Rainbow Dash.
Rarity: That was a close one!
Rainbow Dash: Yeah, I thought we weren’t going to make it!
Rarity reacted to the text instead of replying. Both of the girls put down their phone, relaxing as the bus made it’s way to their camp.
With a jolt, Rainbow woke up, rubbing her head.
“Ow, what gives?” She turned her head to the window, with a look of confusion.
This doesn’t look like the camp? Rainbow Dash thought as she went on her phone to look at pictures. Her expression changed from confused to pure horror. She started panicking and went to the messaging app to text Rarity. She kept spamming but got no response.
From her peripheral vision, she saw a short women with a simple dress, over-the-top makeup, and bouncy red curls rose from her seat.
“Wake up ladies, we are here! Your first day of Beauty camp!” The women announced cheerfully. Rainbow Dash's heart skipped a beat as she heard the cheerful announcement. Beauty camp? Her eyes widened in disbelief. This wasn't what she had signed up for. She had been expecting a fun-filled summer of adventure and athletics, not a camp focused on beauty and glamour.
Rainbow Dash started to call Rarity.
Meanwhile with Rarity, she had been daydreaming about all the things she was going to do at her camp. Beauty makeovers, getting advice from professionals, spa treatments-
Her dreaming stopped to a loud screeching sound coming to a bus to a stop. Her face grimaced at the noise as she looked in front of the bus. Her eyes wided as she saw who was standing in front of the bus.
“Wake up knuckle heads! We are here,” The women announced. Rarity gave a long look at her while trying to wrap her head if she was at the wrong camp or not. Surely enough, she recognized the taller women. It’s Spitfire! The coach of their High School and Rainbow Dash’s trainer. She started panicking.
Oh no! I’ve gotten on the wrong bus! Rarity screamed inside her head. She started biting her new manicure from stress. Just as, she felt her phone buzz. It was a call from Rainbow Dash. She immediately picked it up and accepted the call.
“Rarity! Did you end up at the wrong camp?” Rainbow asked in a hushed voice. She could tell she was trying to be quiet as possible while she was totally freaking out. Rarity on the other hand, did the complete opposite.
“Yes! Oh my goodness how did this happen?” Rarity wailed, putting her hands over her head as she closed her eyes. She opened them to find multiple set of eyes on her, giving her confused-concerning looks.
Rarity did a little laugh from her embarrassment “I’m sorry everybody.”
Spitfire made her way towards the distressed teen and bended down to meet her eyes.
“Do we have a problem?” Spitfire asked, in a low dangerous level. Rarity’s eyes wided as she broke into a sweat. She never had a interaction with Spitfire, but watching her from the way she talks to Rainbow Dash and all of her other peers makes her scared.
“N-No ma’am,” Rarity said, giving a fake smile. Spitfire’s expression got more stern, which made Rarity leaned back.
“You gotta be more tougher than that if you wanna stay here,” Spitfire said. Rarity took this opportunity to state the mistake that had been made.
“B-But I’m afraid-“
“Alright everybody! I’m stuck with you guys this whole summer, so you guys need to train HARD. No goofing around!” Spitfire yelled, forming a fits and slamming it on her pam. Rarity’s face made a big frown. She looked at her phone to check if Rainbow was still connected. Rarity put the phone to her ear.
“I guess that confirms it,” Rainbow deadpanned.

Rarity’s hot. Well no duh of course she is, it’s summer!
Rarity, adorned in a fashionable summer dress and a wide-brimmed hat, found herself standing under the scorching sun at the sports camp. She wasn’t even supposed to be in here! Her forehead, sweat dripping down her face like a river, threatening to ruin her applied makeup. The fashionista fanned herself with a small hand-held fan. Her previously mood fixated on the mistake her and Rainbow Dash did had quickly disappeared, replaced by a state of discomfort. She let out an dramatic sigh, feeling the heat saturating every pore of her body.
“I can’t take this anymore,” She murmured. Glancing over her shoulder, she saw most people had obtained their bags. She frowned. She thought about reattempting to tell Spitfire about their camp mixup, but she doesn’t see site of her anywhere. She crossed her arms as more discomfort washed all over her body.
A loud whistle was heard around the camp. Rarity turned her head, looking where the sound came from. Spitfire stood on top of a stadium.
“Everybody gather around here, now!” Spitfire commanded, loud and confident. Rarity eyes wided. Her and everybody else were at least 100 ft away from the stadium, and she heard her loud and clear. Rarity, soaking in the information she just thought of, made her fear Spitfire more.
Everyone started walking over to the stadium, grabbing their things. Rarity stood in place, staring blankly before she let out a small gasp and started to copy everybody else.
Small chattering was among the big group. Rarity stood dumbly, staring at Spitfire of fear. From what she heard from Rainbow Dash, “she’s really fun and cool to hang with, just don’t get on her bad side.” Rarity made a face of uncertainty as she recalled the memory. She straighten her back and attempted to walk to the front of the stage. Multiple people blocking and pushing her way of reaching her goal. As she finally got pass a group, a loud yell from Spitfire came, with made Rarity flinch at the sudden noise.
“Alright newbies, today is your first day. You will all call me Ma’am,” She turned towards the group, expecting a response. “Yes ma’am!” Rarity gave a little jump at the loudness.
“Do you think you got what it thinks? Do you think you have the guts?” Spitfire said, walking around stage. Some giggles came out from the group. Spitfire stopped in her tracks and turned to face the stage. Her face gave off a menacing stare that made Rarity shutter.
With a frown, Spitfire spoke again. “You think this is funny? Don’t think I’m playing, because I will not be tolerating any pussy shit.”
She continued, “This summer, you will train HARD. From morning to noon.”
Rarity’s eyes wided once more. Without thinking, she raised her hand. “Um, excuse me ma’am,” She called out. Spitfire gave a look of confusion before quickly changing it into her stern look. She looked down at Rarity with a raised eyebrow.
“Um, I believe there’s been a mistake,” Rarity started, “you see, my friend and I-“ a screeching noise from Spitfires whistle blew up, making Rarity and several people nearby cover their ears.
“There’s no time for complaining around here missy!” She roared. Rarity slummed down from her stance. “If you’re gonna be here, there is absolutely no complaining!”
Spitfire stepped away from the fashionistas face and continued what she was doing. A young boy nudged Rarity’s elbow. Rarity looked over and looked up at him with a confused look.
“Are you supposed to be here? You don’t seem- err- y’know?” The boy hinted, pointing out her attire. Rarity frowned deepen.
“No, I am not! I’m trying to tell her that but she will not listen!” Rarity hissed. She made her to keep her voice down so she won’t be heard and get yelled at again. The boys eyes wided.
“Oh shit, good luck,” He said with a laugh but also pure genuine. She put her head down as she tried to hold in her anger. She knew this wasn’t even the beginning.
Rainbow wanted to die. No , actually, she wanted to kill someone. She cannot believe she made this stupid mistake. Now she’s stuck here for the rest of the summer, unless she can tell the teacher about this. Should be easy enough.
Standing outside, the rainbow haired teen looked around, looking for “her” camp instructor.
Everyone looks the same. Rainbow groaned. She started walking. Sweat starting to seep into Rainbow as the sun hit directly on her. She stopped in her tracks and she wiped sweat from her forehead.
Jeez I know it’s summer but isn’t it TOO hot? She wondered as she got more annoyed. She was wearing black shorts with a simple white shirt. She ignored her discomfort and walked until she found “her” camp instructor. Seems like she’s been cornered by a group of chatty teens. She had a bright smile on her face, answering all of their questions with fast but also understandable. Rainbow speed walked towards the woman but only to get hit in the face by one of the girls. Rainbow didn’t think and immediately reacted.
“Hey watch where you’re going!” She yelled. The girl turned around and gave a quick “oh, sorry” and went back to crowding the shorter woman.
Rainbow wasn’t dealing with this. She started pushing the other girls, receiving dirty looks. The shorter woman looked at Rainbow and gave a cheeky smile.
“Oh hello! Are you new here? I never seen you before! Oh my I love your hair? Is it natural?” The woman blabbed. Rainbow felt overwhelmed with all the questions she was getting. Rainbows eyes furrowed as she begin to speak up.
“Um, excuse me,” Rainbow isn’t a polite person but she tried to sound polite as possible. Rarity always told her to be more polite and not so brash. At first, she didn’t listen but sometimes the best way to get people to listen is to be nice .
The woman stopped her blabbing and put a hand to put mouth.
“Oh my! Excuse my rudeness! My name is Sapphire Rose. What’s yours?”
“Rainbow Dash, now there’s been a mixup-“ Rainbow started just as soon she had been interrupted by a girl asking one of her useless questions. Rainbow scrunched up her face in frustration as her eyes turned into sharp daggers staring into space. She hadn’t been this pissed in a while. She sharply turned her head towards the girl. The girl lowered down from her stance. Rainbow turned around to face Sapphire but two more girls piped up more questions. Sapphire Rose turned at them and answered their questions. Sapphire looked down at her watch and gasped.
“Oh my look at the time! It’s time to go to the main hall!” The group treated and started walking to the big building. Sapphire turned towards Rainbow Dash and put a hand on her arm.
“Tell me later hon,” Sapphire said. She speed walked towards the main hall. Rainbow slouched as she did a frustrated groan.
“This is gonna be hell,”
Few days have gone by for the struggling girls. They usually talk to each other on the phone, keeping the other updated on their current life. Rainbow Dash kept complaining about everything is so “frou frou”. For Rarity, she had been trying to avoid Spitfire much as possible. It seems to be working but eventually Spitfire will catch on. Both of the girls have been having a hard time in telling their camp instructor about their mixup. Either they were too busy or just wasn’t listening.
Laying in bed, Rainbow Dash thought about her life decisions for the 20th time. Since she was going to be here for the rest of her summer, she was going to make use of it. That’s when she got the brightest idea..
Pranks! Oh god why haven’t I thought about this before? Rainbow thought. Looking at the darkness, she got up from her bed. Slowly lowering herself down from the bunk bed so she doesn’t wake anybody up. She got to her backpack and opened it. She grinned as she did a little chuckle.
“This will be fun,”
“Girlies! It’s time to wake up!” Called out Shappire and she rang her little bell lightly. The girls groggily woke up, yawning. Rainbow Dash was still asleep, loudly snoring in her deep sleep. The girls gave a look and motioned her bunkie to wake her up. Groaning, the girl tapped on Rainbows shoulder lightly. Not waking up, she shook Rainbow. She shot up.
“Huh!?” Rainbow questioned, she looked around the room confused until she noticed their faces. Her eyes wided as she gave an embarrassed smile.
“Sorry,” Everyone moved their attention away to Rainbow Dash and getting ready to start their day. Rainbow stayed in her position until she remembered her prank. She let out a small gasp and started giggling. Her eyes pinpointed at the bathroom door, one of her roommates opened the door. She closes the door behind her.
“Wait for it…” Rainbow counted until-
“AHH!” a blood curling scream came from the bathroom. The room snapped their head towards the bathroom door as it opened.
“What happened?” a girl asked the panicked girl.
“There’s something in the toilet!” she pointed at the toilet. Everyone gave confused looks.
“Did someone not flush?” someone asked. The girl shook her head.
“It-it’s really big- just look for yourself,” two girls went to the bathroom and looked at the toilet, their eyes went wide as they also screamed, leaping out of the bathroom.
They shut the door, “I know we are in the forest but this is insane!”
Sapphire opened the room door as she had a panicked look on her face.
“What happened? I heard screaming!” She questioned. All the girls expect Rainbow Dash pointed at the bathroom door. Sapphire walked towards the bathroom with caution. She opened the door, she looked around until she looked at the toilet.
“OH MY!” she screamed. Her eyes stared at it until she picked up a toilet brush and poked it. It didn’t move. She picked it up and examined it. She frowned and spoke.
“Alright, who put this here?” She demanded, holding up the fake scorpion. Rainbow gave a few giggles until she bursted out laughing. Everyone gave her mean glares as she continued to laugh.
“You should have seen your face! Err- uh-“ She pointed at the girl who found the fake scorpion.
“Star,” she deadpanned, crossing her arms.
“Yeah you! Ha that was funny!” Rainbow wiped her tears from her eyes. Sapphire went to Rainbow Dash and gave a stern look.
“Rainbow Dash! That is very inappropriate! Refrain from doing this again,” She spoke with seriousness and stern. Rainbow frowned a little.
“Fine, sorry,” She groaned at being scolded at. Usually when Twilight does it, she shrugs it off but getting yelled at by an adult is different. It made her feel like a little girl again.
“I’m getting rid of this,” Sapphire said, looking at the fake scorpion in disgust. Dripping toilet water slowly making its way towards the ground as she walked out the room.
Nobody said anything and acted like nothing happened. This doesn’t mean they weren’t upset at Rainbow Dash. Everyone continued getting ready for the day.
Sleeping peacefully, snoozing softly. Rarity had her sleeping mask, covered with purple silk and jewels. Everyone knows purple is Rarity’s favorite color, but she likes it more than everybody knows. It’s royal color just pops, makes her stand out among the crowd, especially with jewels.
Aside from her current life, Rarity was dreaming of making dresses, like she normally does. She hasn’t been able to do that without Spitfire stepping on her shoes all the time.
Almost finishing her dream dress, her dream stopped to a halt to the door hitting the wall.
“Wake up newbies! Today, we are getting real!” Spitfire said. Rarity groaned in annoyance from her dream being interrupted. Everyone in her room immediately got up and started getting ready. Rarity gave a long, deep sigh and got off her bed.
“Thank goodness I brought these sneakers,” Rarity said, looking down at her fashionable platform sneakers. She feared about her shoes getting too dirty, but she had no choice since the rest were high heels. The platforms may not be runnable shoes but what could she do?
She followed her group towards Spitfire, who waited for everyone. Rarity put her head down, waiting for the absolute worst and most difficult, energy consuming exercise she has ever done.
“Alright newbies, I hope you slept well because today will have you sleeping like a baby tonight!” Spitfire announced. Rarity fanned her face with her hand again.
I can’t take this heat!
Spitfire moved aside and pointed behind her. There stood a obstacle course with various different objects.
“You will all run through this a multiple times, I will tell you when to stop,” Spitfire continued, “now c’mon get over there!”
People started running to the start of the course. Rarity shuddered and sped walked to the start. She took a quick glance at the whole course, shuttering at all of them.
The girls and I have saved the world from destruction multiple times, this shouldn’t be that bad…
Spitfire took aside from all the teens, pausing as she eyed all of them. She held her whistle and started counting down.
“3, 2, 1-“ she immediately blew her whistle and screamed, “GO!”
Everyone flew like the wind, leaving dust behind them. Rarity gasped and ran.
“C’mon lady you can be faster than that, go go go!” Spitfire yelled.
Rarity pushed herself forward. She approached the first challenge—an enormous wall with ropes dangling down from the top. Without hesitation, she held onto the ropes and began scaling the wall, her sneakers gripping onto the rough surface. She climbed higher and higher until she reached the peak and swung her legs over, landing on the other side.
Breathing heavily, Rarity jogged towards the next obstacle, which was a series of tires scattered across the ground. Jumping from one to another. Her platform sneakers proved to be a challenge as she struggled to maintain balance and avoid tripping. With every leap, she wobbled slightly, but managed to stay on her feet and pushed through.
As she approached the next challenge, Rarity couldn't help but let out a small gasp. It was a muddy pit filled with murky water, logs, and ropes hanging above. She let out a small cry.
I knew this would happen… As people zipped past her, she shook her thoughts. She had no choice but to wade through it. With a determined face, she took a deep breath and plunged into the mud, the thick gooey mud gettin on her fashionable sneakers.
Squishing her way through, Rarity reached the other side, her sneakers now covered in mud. She tried to shake off the excess dirt, but it clung to the platform soles. Unfazed, she continued to the next obstacle—a series of monkey bars high above the ground. Swinging from bar to bar, she used her upper body strength through the challenging course. She may be a lady, but she was a strong one. Her fashionable sneakers proved to be a slight problem, making it harder for her to grip the bars.
As Rarity removed herself from the monkey bars, she spotted the next course—a balance beam that stretched across a deep pit. She cautiously stepped onto the narrow beam, her platform sneakers teetering on the edges. Every step was with focus and precision, as she carefully made her way to the other side. Despite the difficulty, Rarity managed to keep her balance and complete the task successfully.
With a sense of accomplishment, Rarity made her way to the final obstacle—a towering rope ladder that led to a platform above. She grabbed onto the ropes tightly, her sneakers struggling to find traction on the thin rungs. She climbed higher and higher, her arms and legs burning with fatigue. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, she reached the top and stepped onto the platform.
Breathing in and out from her mouth, Rarity looked down at the obstacle course she had just conquered. Her fashionable, beautiful sneakers were dirty and worn, but she couldn't help but feel a sense of pride in her accomplishment. She had faced her fear of ruining her beloved shoes and pushed herself to the limit.
I wish Rainbow Dash was here to see this. She would be so proud!
As Rarity descended from the platform, Spitfire approached her with a smile. "Impressive work! You really pushed through and gave it your all," she commended.
Rarity smiled back, wiping the sweat off her forehead. "Thank you, Spitfire. It was quite the challenge, but I'm glad I did it."
With confidence, Rarity joined the rest of her group, knowing that no obstacle was too great for her to overcome, whether it be in fashionable platform sneakers or high heels.
Rainbow sat in a room, it was filled with an explosion of colors, dazzling decorations, and a vibrant atmosphere that just screamed Rarity.
She let out a deep sigh and plopped her head on the desk. Her camp instructor, Sapphire smiled from ear to ear and said.
“Hi girls! Oops! And boys-“ she corrected herself.
“Today we are going to have a little fun. A makeover!“ She bursted with excitement. Rainbow Dash lifted her head from the desk and yelled.
“Are you seri-“ She looked around the room to the unassumed teens. She groaned and folded her arms.
“I’m sure you all brought your makeup kits but we have a whole variety here,” She shifted aside and pointed at a living stock of makeup.
Everyone awed in amazement and shock. Rainbow grumbled more. Her eyes landed on the different various shades of lip gloss. This sparked up an idea.
With a smile, she thought about her plan more and laughed.
“This is gonna be better than my last,” she whispered. She got up from her chair and approached the large vanity. She grabbed three red shaded lip gloss and stuffed it inside her pocket.
Then, Rainbow went up to her camp instructor and asked, “can I use the bathroom? I’ll be quick,”
Sapphire nodded. Rainbow dashed out of the room leaving her signature rainbow trail. She had obviously lied about going to the bathroom. Instead, she was heading to her room. Entering the room, she made sure nobody was there.
Coast is clear Rainbow put on a sly smirk and reached into her bag. She pulled out three packets of spicy sause she had took from the lunch room. She popped open one of lip glosses lid, dumped some lip gloss out, opened the spicy packet and dumped all of it inside. She shook a little. She gave herself a laugh for thinking about this genius plan. She repeated this process with the rest of the two lip gloss.
She stuffed the lip glosses back in her pocket and dashed back to the classroom. She walked back to her seat, seeing one of her roommates, Star and two other girls. She smiled approached them.
“Hey girls, I saw these lip glosses over there and I just thought they would look so good on you guys!” She whipped out three lip glosses and shoved it infront of their faces.
The three girls gave the rainbow athlete a weird look but took them anyways.
The baby blue haired girl, Star gave it a weird look. Rainbows face immediately turned into worry.
Star sparked up, “This is a really nice red, you got a good eye,”
Rainbows face went back to a smile, “thanks.”
Star and the other two girls opened the lid and put the lip gloss on their lips. Rainbow waited in anticipation, rubbing her hands together. The three girls stopped applying their lip gloss in unison. Their smiles turned into a frown. Star’s face grew uncomfortable until tears started forming in her eyes.
“Rainbow Dash, what did you put in this?” She asked in confusion and irritation. Rainbow snickered and acted oblivious.
“What do you mean? I thought you liked it?” She covered her mouth to contain her laugher.
One of the girls started yelling, “AHH! My mouth burns!” she yelled through the tears falling down from her cheeks. She rubbed the lip gloss on her clothes. The other girl licked off the lip gloss but that only made things worse. She rushed over to someone’s water bottle and drank it. Star stayed put. She did not want to give Rainbow Dash the satisfaction she wanted. Stars look grew stern. She wiped off the lip gloss and pointed a finger at the rainbow haired girl.
“This isn’t funny!” Star raised her voice. She threw the lip gloss at Rainbow. She snapped her fingers and her two friends came rushing by her side. They gave Rainbow Dash one last look and walked to the other side of the room. Rainbow started laughing even more.
“The hell was that about?” She said through laughs. She sat down on her seat and proceeded to go on her phone.
It’s free time for the campers. Camp Crystal Lake was abuzz with excitement as a group of girls, led by Star, huddled together near a towering oak tree. Star's eyes sparkled as she outlined her plan to her group of girls.
With a sly smile, Star addressed the group, her voice barely containing her excitement. "Alright, ladies, listen up. Today, we're going to give Rainbow Dash a taste of her own medicine."
A ginger haired girl, Amber raised an eyebrow, her curiosity piqued. "What's the plan, Star?"
Star's grin widened as she revealed her plan. "We're going to take all of Rainbow Dash's belongings and hide them. Then give her a makeover. It's time she gets something back at her for those stupid pranks."
Yael clapped her hands gleefully, her acrylics tapping each other. "Oh, this is going to be so much fun! She won't know what hit her!"
Someone among the group, however, seemed a bit apprehensive. "But won't she be really upset?"
Star waved off the girl’s concern. "Oh, don’t worry! It's harmless. Rainbow Dash needs a reality check."
Their laughter echoed through the camp as they began to assign tasks to each member of the group.
"Amber, you keep an eye on Rainbow Dash," Star commanded. "Let us know when she's away from her things."
Amber nodded and made her way towards the camp's area where Rainbow Dash was currently on her phone.
Turning her attention to Yael, Star continued, "Yael, your job is to distract her. Engage her in some friendly banter to divert her attention away.”
Yael grinned and set off towards Rainbow Dash, ready to engage her in conversation about the latest sports competition.
Star then turned to the rest of the group, giving them a determined look. "It’s up to us to gather all of Rainbow Dash's belongings and bring them to our secret hiding spot near the lake."
They all nodded. Star gave a bigger smile
As the plan unfolded, Amber discreetly sent a signal to Star, using subtle hand gestures to indicate that Rainbow Dash had moved away from her belongings.
"Perfect timing!" Star whispered with a grin. "Let's move, girls!"
The group reconvened near the shimmering lake, where Yael unveiled their secret hiding spot—a concealed hollow beneath a magnificent tree. They carefully stowed away Rainbow Dash's belongings, disguising them with leaves and twigs.
"Excellent work, everyone," Star praised, a satisfied smirk on her face. "Now, let's make sure Rainbow Dash doesn't suspect a thing."
The group dispersed, nonchalantly returning to their normal activities, attempting to act as inconspicuous as possible.
The group of girls followed her. Rainbow Dash hadn’t looked behind her during the whole trip.
As she returned, she noticed her things are gone.
"Where are my things?" Rainbow Dash muttered to herself, a mix of annoyance and bewilderment in her voice.
“We’ll tell you if you stop fucking with us,” Star interrupted with a stomp of her heels. She wasn’t one to curse but she couldn’t hold back. Rainbow looked up in shock at the sudden action. Rainbow stood her ground, with a stern look on her face.
“What did you do to my shit?!” Rainbow barked. She switched her position as if she was getting ready to fight. Star noticed this and held out her hand.
“No need for violence, Rainbow Dash. We didn’t do anything with your things. We just hid them,” Star said. Rainbow felt a sense of relief but kept her current position.
“Well, give them back!” Rainbow Dash demanded.
“Oh we will. Under one condition,”
“What?”
Rainbow just barely got out her question just as she felt several hands on her arms and shoulder, refraining her from moving.
“Hey! What gives?!” Rainbow struggled to get herself out but nothing happened. Damn these girls were strong.
Star removed her mean look to a happy one. Almost like the smile pinkie always did.
“Who’s ready for a makeover!?” Star exclaimed with hands in the air. Rainbow’s face immediately went pale.
“No, nobody!” Rainbow shrieked. Everyone started to swarm the rainbow haired girl. Everyone working on different sections. Rainbow Dash started to cry out, hoping Rarity wasn’t being tortured like she was.
As the girls held Rainbow Dash in place, they began the makeover process with a touch of mischief in their eyes. "Okay, Rainbow, time to embrace your inner fashionista!" Star declared with a playful tone.
Rainbow Dash struggled a bit, but the girls managed to convince her to cooperate. They handed her the pink long-sleeve crop top, and after a moment of hesitation, she slipped it on. To her surprise, the top fit her perfectly, hugging her athletic frame in a flattering way. The crop top added a feminine touch to her usual sporty look, and she had to admit it wasn't as bad as she thought.
Next, they handed her the white and black skirt with a belt. She sighed but complied, and the girls expertly helped her into the skirt. The outfit added a touch of sophistication to her appearance, which she hadn't expected.
To finish the outfit, the girls gave her white high heels.
Now, it was time for her hair. The girls gathered around, and one of them began combing through her rainbow-colored locks with care. They decided to style it into soft, wavy waves that cascaded gracefully over her shoulders. It was a departure from her usual tomboyish ponytail, but the end result looked surprisingly pretty.
The girls laid out an array of makeup products on a nearby table. They started with a clean canvas, using a gentle cleanser to remove any dirt or sweat from Rainbow Dash's face.
They applied a light foundation that matched her blue skin tone, giving her complexion a smooth and even finish.
With a touch of blush, they added a natural flush to her cheeks, enhancing her features.

As a final touch, they handed her a pair of feminine sunglasses and placed them on top of her head.
When Rainbow Dash finally looked at herself in the mirror, she couldn't help but be amazed by the transformation. The outfit and makeup were a far cry from her usual style, but she had to admit that she looked surprisingly chic and glamorous.
"Wow, I can't believe this is me," she muttered, surprise in her voice.
Star beamed at her creation, saying, "See? You look absolutely stunning, Rainbow Dash! Fashion-forward and fierce!"
Rainbow Dash blushed, feeling a sense of vulnerability she rarely experienced. "Thanks, guys. This is definitely different," she admitted with a shy smile.
Everyone gave a gleeful smile. Rainbow was wrapped up into her new look she forgot about her things. She went wide eyed and shook of her awe.
“Hey I know this was fun or whatever but where is my things!?” Rainbow demanded. Star gave her a smug look. Rainbow knew this wasn’t going to be good.
“If you want your things, you’re going to have to act like a lady for the remainder of the summer,” Star said, putting her finger up and talking like a teacher. Rainbow gave her a look and immediately refused.
“Hey, this was a one time thing! Now give me back my shit!” Rainbow yelled. Star put a hand on her shoulder.
“You want your things don’t you?” Rainbow sighed.
“Ugh, whatever let’s do this,” Everyone in the room cheered. Rainbow frown deepened.
Rarity was still proud of herself about completing the obstacle course, but she was just so tried she couldn’t do anything else. She sat a bench.
“I wonder how’s Rainbow holding up,” she pondered. “I bet she’s complaining about everything driving everyone mad.”
The fashionista giggled at the thought. In her pondering, she heard Spitfire call out to the camp, Rarity gave a long groan and a little cry. She removed herself from the wooden bench and slowly making her way to Spitfire.
“Next activity is weight lifting!” Spitfire said going start into the point. Some people groaned while Rarity wanted to cry.
Sweat started to soak her body once again, Rarity let out a frustrated cry at all that was going on.
“No complaining newbies. You won’t reach your full potential,” Sprite announced. “Now get in there!”
Everyone started going to different stations in the small gym. Rarity stood in place not sure where to go. Like she even wanted to.
Spitfire noticed Rarity and approached her.
“C’mon lady, follow me,” Spitfire said. Rarity compiled. She wasn’t paying attention, looking at everyone else doing their things. Spitfire stopped and Rarity bumped into her.
“Sorry,” she sheepishly said. Spitfire led her to a barbell. Rarity stared wided eyed. She was not ready for this.
“Get on missy,” Rarity stepped in front of it. She put her hands on the barbell.
This thing is going to crush me!
Spitfire stood nearby, her competitive spirit radiating. "Alright, Rarity! You can do this! Lift that barbell like a true champion!" Spitfire yelled, her voice echoing in the gym.
Rarity took a deep breath, trying to psych herself up. She had always admired athleticism, but weightlifting wasn't exactly her area of expertise. "Oh, darling, I'm not sure about this. I’m a lady not a…" Rarity looked at ripped man lifting heavy pounds, “gym rat.”
Spitfire crossed her arms, her no-nonsense attitude showing. "Come on, Rarity! Don't give me any of that. You're a strong girl, and I believe in you. Now, grab that barbell and show me what you've got!" she urged, her eyes narrowing with determination.
Rarity gave it a little lift.
"Oh, my stars! This is heavier than I imagined," Rarity gasped, her elegant features contorting with the effort. She strained to lift the barbell, her muscles quivering under the pressure.
Spitfire's voice rang in her ears like a drill sergeant. "Don't you dare give up! Lift with all your might!"
Gritting her teeth, Rarity summoned all her strength and began to lift the barbell. Slowly but steadily, she hoisted it off the ground. Her expression still in discomfort as she continued to lift the weights.
As she struggled with the heavy load, Rarity couldn't help but let out little grunts of exertion. "Oh, how utterly uncouth! Weightlifting is simply not my forte," she muttered between efforts, still trying to maintain her composure despite the strain.
Spitfire, unyielding in her encouragement, barked, "You're doing great, Rarity! Keep going!"
With Spitfire's encouragement ringing in her ears, Rarity pushed herself harder, channeling her inner strength. She managed to raise the barbell higher, her elegant posture contrasting with the sweat forming on her brow.
"Phew! This is absolutely exhausting!" Rarity huffed, sweat glistening on her skin. But she refused to give up, determined to prove herself.
Spitfire's voice remained firm. "You're almost there, Rarity! Show me what you're made of!"
Summoning her last reserves of strength, Rarity lifted the barbell to its peak position. A sense of triumph washed over her as she held the weight for a brief moment before gently placing it back down.
Panting, Rarity stepped away from the barbell, feeling a big sense of relief. "Well, there you have it. I did it!" she exclaimed, a hint of surprise in her voice.
Spitfire clapped her hands together, a genuine smile crossing her face. "You did it, Rarity! I knew you had it in you!" she praised.” Now do it again!”
Rarity gasped at gave small cries of help.

Star, being the leader of the fashion-forward group, took charge of teaching Rainbow Dash the art of walking glamorously in heels. They assembled near the camp cabins, where they had set up a makeshift runway. Star demonstrated the model-worthy walk, displaying her knowledge of posing and strutting in heels.
"Alright, Rainbow Dash, watch closely and take notes," Star said with confidence. She showcased a poised walk, elongating her legs and adding a touch of flair to her movements. Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes but still watched her.
"Now it's your turn! Give it a shot!" Star encouraged. Rainbow looked down at her heels. Rainbow Dash hesitated for a moment, eyeing the heels with uncertainty, She wore heels before but these were longer.
“Fuck it,” Dash muttered.
With Star's guidance, Rainbow Dash practiced her heel-walking. At first, she felt a bit unsteady, but Star's patience and encouragement helped her find her balance. Rainbow Dash gained confidence, strutting down the makeshift runway with more grace and elegance with every step.
“Great job Rainbow!” Star praised. Rainbow gave a smug smile, her ego washing over her.
“I’m awesome, I can do anything!”
Next, Star and her group set up a photoshoot area, complete with a stylish backdrop and bright lights. They directed Rainbow Dash through various feminine poses, teaching her how to make her features more noticeable.
"Alright, now give us a fierce and fabulous look, Rainbow Dash!" Star directed, snapping her fingers to add drama. Rainbow Dash channeled her inner diva, experimenting with different poses and expressions. With each click of the camera, she grew more comfortable, embracing her glamorous side.
After the photoshoot, Star led Rainbow Dash to a full-length mirror. "Now, Rainbow Dash, it's time to affirm your fabulousness," Star said with a smile. "Look into the mirror and say, 'I am beautiful, I am fabulous, I am the most fashionable girl.'"
Rainbow Dash furrowed her eyebrows.
“The fuck?” Rainbow said and turned around. “Now that’s just silly.”
Star and her group stood by her side. “C’mon Rainbow! It’s not silly once you say it.”
Taking a deep breath, Rainbow Dash looked into the mirror and spoke the words out loud, with slight deadpan. "I am beautiful, I am fabulous, I am the most fashionable girl," she said. Her raspy voice made it harder to sound girly.
“That wasn’t girly enough. Say it like you mean it!” Star said.
Rainbow Dash sighed and repeated the process, this time actually trying.
“I am beautiful, I am fabulous, I am the most fashionable girl," Rainbow Dash said. Her raspy voice still present but more high pitched. It sounded like a trash impersonation of Rarity.
Star and her group applauded, "That was wasn’t bad, I knew you had it in you" Star praised.
Rainbow Dash stared at herself in the mirror. Horrified at what she became. Sure the makeover was fun but having to do this the whole summer is hell for the rainbow haired girl.
“I’m so gonna be bullied,”
The next activity is gonna be hell. The last two were already hell enough for the fashionable teen but this is just Rainbow Dash level.
Soccer. A sport Rarity would NEVER want to play. Just using her feet just seems so hard. Although she doesn’t like the sport, that doesn't stop her from cheering on her favorite athlete. She picked up a few tricks Rainbow did while watching her practice, so it shouldn’t be too hard, right?
“This should be fun,” Spitfire called out. When she stepped aside, she showed the soccer field. Cheers came among the crowd. Rarity hung her head low.
“When will it end?” Rarity prayed. Everyone ran to the field. Spitfire gave everyone their positions including Rarity.
Everyone went to their positions waiting for the game to start.
Rarity's heart sank as the soccer game progressed. Despite her best efforts, she found it incredibly challenging to control the ball with her feet and her movements. Every time she tried to make a pass or kick the ball, it seemed to go in the wrong direction or barely move at all.
Her teammates tried to be encouraging, but really they were just yelling at her. Rarity put a hand on her face. "I'm afraid I'm not cut out for this sport," she admitted.
As the game went on, Rarity's frustration grew. She stumbled and tripped over the ball multiple times, attracting a few embarrassing glances from the other players. "Oh, why me?" she thought, wishing she could disappear from the field.
The crowd's cheers and the joyous atmosphere that usually accompanied a soccer match felt like a mocking reminder of Rarity's lack of talent in the sport. She felt utterly out of place and longed for the game to be over.
When the final whistle blew, Rarity was both relieved and disappointed. She was relieved because she wouldn't have to endure the embarrassment of her soccer performance any longer, but she was disappointed in herself for not being able to contribute to her team.
As she walked off the field, trying to put on a brave face, Spitfire approached her with a reassuring smile. "Not everyone takes to soccer right away, Rarity. It's okay if it's not your thing. We all have our strengths and interests," Spitfire said kindly.
Rarity managed a weak smile in return, appreciating Spitfire's understanding. "You're right. I think I'll stick to what I know best – designing fabulous outfits," she replied.
As Rarity left the soccer field behind, she felt a sense of relief wash over her. Next time, she wouldn't be the next Rainbow Dash on the soccer field.
The end of summer was here. Everyone was heading to their hometown and ready for the upcoming school year. On the other hand, it was the opposite for Rainbow Dash and Rarity.
Rainbow Dash had undergone a transformation over the summer, becoming a girly girl with a passion for fashion and elegance, she’s like a walking Rarity clone! While she embraced her newfound style, she hated it. The habit of being a girly girl had grown on her, almost like second nature, but deep down, she missed her tomboyish self. She found herself trapped in the routine of makeup, dresses, and fashionable accessories. She swore to herself to never use makeup expect for important events or if Rarity makes her. The fake voice she had put on put a strain to her natural voice, she went back to her raspy voice. At least she could have that back.
Rarity had never thought the summer Camp would turn her into a buff and muscular woman. While she had thought of weightlifting as a challenge at first, she soon found herself growing increasingly uncomfortable with her newfound strength, she’s like a walking Applejack clone! (with biceps). The once elegant girl was now struggling to fit into her delicate dresses, and she couldn't help but feel self-conscious about her appearance. Rarity missed her old slender figure and the ease with which she could move gracefully. As much as she tried to hide her muscles under fashionable clothing, it became a constant reminder of the changes she had undergone. Rarity wished to go back to her previous self.
As they returned to Canterlot High, Sunset Shimmer face was aghast.
"Holy shit! What the fuck happened?" Sunset asked laughing with shock but also joy.
Rarity and Rainbow Dash shot her a glare. “Don’t ask.”
