A story inspired by Luna's Story by Aegis Shield. Seriously, guy's amazing.

Rising Star has only known the orphanage in which he was raised. The orphanage that found him upon its doorstep, hours after his birth. It is all he has known, and the home he has to call his own. Princess Luna's Royal Orphanage for Underprivileged Fillies and Colts has instilled in him an understanding of its patroness, and her night. All Risin' wants is to protect and defend the ponies who embrace Luna's night.

And so, Rising Star and his only true friend Feather Wing from Luna's Royal Orphanage set out to become members of the Night Guard, the force that protects all of Equestria from the things that would do harm to its citizens once the sun has fallen beyond the horizon. However, this is not their true goal, their driving force. They will stop at nothing until they stand among the elite of the elite, the ultimate warriors of the night, the Lunar Stallions Princess Luna's personal guard and strike force.

But as young as they are, are they able to handle the trials required for them to reach such a goal?

We are sure as hell going to find out.
