Twilight's New Bestie

Previous Chapter

Author's Note

To be honest, I was having alot of trouble thinking up other chapters for this story and I was about to cancel it, but then I thought, why not build on the characters in this story? Cherry being one of them as we don't know that much about her from AliceLiz's original story.

Hopefully chapter 3 won't take me too long to work on. Till then, have yourselves a new chapter of 'The Other Choice'.

Twilight's New Bestie

Chapter 2: Twilight's New Bestie

"Well here we are, you're little home sweet home," said Cherry.

Her car stopped right in front of the house Twilight was staying at. Deep down, a small part of her didn't want to leave Cherry, but at the same time too, she knew she'd have to return for her next shoot, whenever that was going to be.

"I have to say though, I really enjoyed what we did last night. Certainly beats all my other nights."

"What?" Twilight asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Oh, it's nothing, really." Cherry said with a fake laugh.

Though Twilight could tell she was lying, she didn't push the issue any further, and instead decided to compliment the girl.

"You were really good. Like really good. It makes all of my previous shoots seem like it was nothing."

Cherry's cheeks turned red, "do you really mean that?"

"Of course I do. Not to mention," she added with a little giggle, "you are the first girl I've ever done the deed with."

Now Cherry was really blushing and smiling, "well, I'm flattered really. Maybe we can do it again sometime?"

"Sure, and maybe we can also hang out." Twilight paused as she looked to the house, "the girls in there are nice and all, but we're more like work colleagues than friends."

"But you went to the party with one of them."

"Yeah well, I did that because I was nervous, and asked for her to tag along to be on the safe side. But I'm glad I went, cause I really could use a friend here."

Cherry reached out her hand and grabbed Twilight's hand gently, even going as far as rubbing the skin on top.

"Well then, let's try and hang out more. If you ever get the time, just call me and I'll try to be there."

Twilight nodded. She opened the door and was about to climb out, when she heard a click and looked back to see Cherry holding out her bra.

"I'd like you to have this, as a token of our new friendship."

Twilight smiled, then she decided to do something bold. She brought her legs back into the car and pulled down her panties until they were off. Then she passed them to Cherry, "and you can have this as a token from me."

Cherry accepted the panties and took a big sniff from them, "I'll treasure them, I promise."

With one final good-bye, Twilight climbed out and waved till Cherry was out of sight.

Once inside, Twilight found herself being surrounded by the other girls, "so? What was it like? Did you two use sex toys? Did she eat you out? Did you rub pussies together? Man I wish I could've seen it."

"She's lucky to have found you," said a voice. Everyone looked to see Scarlet sitting at the nearby table, "I've known Cherry for some time, and she's not really a social butterfly. She's had it rough, so having you in her life is something special to her."

"What do you mean by she's had it rough?" Twilight asked.

But Scarlet didn't answer. Twilight shrugged, she was sure she was going to find out later on. For now though, she had to get into some new clothes, and of course, get herself ready for her talk with Sunset.

When Sunset finally came on on private call, Twilight didn't waste time and told her everything. From her discovery of the job, to the people she's met, including Cherry, and the shoots she had been in. When she had finished, Sunset was quite speechless.

"Well? What do you think Sunset?"

"I...I honestly don't know what to say. Except maybe, why did you lie?"

"I don't know. I guess I was worried of what you would say if you found out, but last night, I started to realize that hiding the truth from you would only lead me into trouble. And I certainly don't want to lose my bestest friend."

"Well, I can respect your decision there."

"So, you're not mad at me."

"Oh no, I'm mad that you lied." Twilight looked down to her lap sadly, that was until she heard, "but I'll get over the lies and forgive you."

"I hope so."

"So, you're into that kind of stuff huh? Is it any fun?"

"Well so far, the scenes I've done are with men and while they are nice to me, and no they don't finish in me, it's just not really my thing. My one solo shoot was nice, but it was just me."

"So what you're saying is, you'd like to do it with girls?"

Twilight nodded, "yes, and I've been practicing with one. She's showing me how to do that stuff since I don't know what I'm doing."

It was true that their session last night taught Twilight alot, she didn't mention that it was more of a passionate night rather than just practice.

"And I have to wait for my agent to get me into a role with a girl, so until then, no money and no job."

"Yikes, that's bound to drive you crazy."

"Oh you have no idea."

She then decided to ask Sunset something important, "since I'm going to be here for a while, I am trying to become friends with this one person I met. But I heard she's not really a social person, so I like to know, what should I do?"

Sunset looked at her screen as though she had seen something confusing.

"Twilight, you already have the answer."

"I do?"

"Yes, just be you. It's always better to be honest and truthful with someone, and being yourself is the best thing you can do. After all, you don't want to be something you're not, and end up hurting someone."

"Or lying to them," groaned Twilight.

"Yeah, that too. Also, sometimes it doesn't go well."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, I won't get into details, but I can only say, it'll hurt more than that one person."

Twilight suddenly understood perfectly.

Sunset spoke in a calm manner, "just be you Twilight. That's why I and everyone else loves you. Remember that."

"I'll remember, thanks Sunset."

"Anytime bestie. Anyways, I got to get going. It may be my day off, but there's a new video game coming out and I've been itching to play it. By the way, what's your name?"

Twilight smirked, "why? You need something to look at before going to bed?"

"Maybe," Sunset said meekly.

"It's Sparky Selene."

"Right, got it. Thanks Twi, and call me if you need any help."

"I will, and please don't tell anyone about my job. I rather tell them myself."

Sunset nodded, "you have my word. Well, see you later Twi."

"See you Sunset." And with one final wave, the video call ended. Twilight put her phone down and leaned back onto her bed. Since she had some time on her hands, she had to figure out what to do.

"Maybe I'll go out for a bit. Until Broad tells me some good news."

With that thought on her mind, Twilight, carrying her phone and purse, left the room and went out to explore.

Using the GPS on her smartphone, Twilight started looking around, all the while, making sure she didn't get lost, or worse, end up in a part of the city she shouldn't. It was indeed quite a sight for the small town girl as she hadn't been to many big cities in the past, except on family road trips. But those places couldn't compare to the likes of Miami.

As she took more pictures, her phone rang. She looked and saw it was a number she didn't know, which meant it was another job for her.

"Hello," she answered.

"Hello, is this Sparky Selene I'm talking with?" asked a female voice on the other end.

By now, Twilight had walked up to a bench, and was now reaching into her purse for a piece of paper and a pen.

"Yes, you are talking to her. Who might I be talking to?"

"I'm Ruby Saddle," came the answer. "I was contacted by your agent that you wanted to get involved in some girl on girl scenes."

"That is correct."

"Well Miss Selene, I am happy to tell you that I have a shoot with your name on it." And she began listing some of the details of it, the location and who Twilight's co-star was going to be. Twilight wrote everything down without missing anything.

"Sounds great, so when does this take place?"

"Two days from now. Take an Uber or Cab to our location, and I'll give you and Shining Style all the details you'll need to know."

Twilight shuddered hearing the name 'Shining' as it reminded her of her brother, but quickly it off.

"Sounds good, I'll see you in two days."

"See you then Sparky, and if all goes well, maybe we'll work together more."

"I hope so."

The phone call ended and Twilight, with the information on the piece of paper, got up from the bench and continued with her walk.

She didn't go far though before she saw a familiar car. It was Cherry's car. Sure enough, coming from a nearby building was Cherry herself in her pizza delivery uniform, and looking rather miserable.

"Wonder what's upsetting her," Twilight thought to herself.

She decided to go over and greet her, "hey Cherry! It's me! Twilight!"

At first, Cherry didn't hear her, but after the third shout-out, she turned to the source of the voice. Her depressed look changed to a happy smile.

"Oh hey Twilight! Boy am I ever glad to see you."

"Yeah I saw you were upset, is everything okay?"

Cherry sighed and tried to hide a tear, but Twilight saw it. On instinct, she walked up to Cherry and wiped the tear away. This surprised Cherry a bit, but she didn't yell at Twilight, she just allowed her to continue. She took in a deep breath and finally answered.

"After dropping you off, my boss came to me and said that, if we don't get more money than what we have now, he may have to fire some people, me included. As if that's not enough, I had a costumer who argued over the price of the pizzas they ordered. And as you can see," she turned and showed the ruined back end of her shirt, "a young man dumped a ton of garbage all over me."

"Oh dear, I'm so sorry to hear that."

"It's just three more shitty moments ruining my life, I can't...bare..." but she didn't finish as she felt someone wrap their arms around her. That someone was Twilight, embracing her in a hug. The move may have shocked her at first, but Cherry soon accepted it and burst into tears right then and there.

Now Twilight was beginning to understand a bit on what Scarlet said before.

After a while, the two climbed back into Cherry's car where she finished crying.

"Thanks Twilight, I really needed that hug," she sobbed.

"Well I'm always happy to help a friend, especially a beautiful one like you."

Cherry started blushing again.

"You always know the right times to say these things don't you?"

Twilight nodded, "it's something all my friends and family back home know about, and they love me for it."

"I can see why."

The two sat in silence for another minute before Twilight asked, "would you like me to join you for the rest of your deliveries?"

Cherry didn't answer. It was as if she was thinking, "normally, the answer is no. But heck, if they're going to fire me, then I rather it be with my bestie beside me."

"Hey, I won't let them fire you."

"And how are you going to do that?"

"I don't know, but I'll think of something."

Cherry just smiled and as the car started up, she reached out for Twilight's hand. Twilight accepted it and joined Cherry for the rest of her deliveries.

When the deliveries were done, Twilight went back with Cherry to her workplace. She spoke with the manager, and even looked over all the paperwork, after asking permission, and discovered the reason for lack of money wasn't from lack of sales, but from three drivers taking the money for themselves.

The manager apologized to Cherry and fired the three drivers right away.

"My job is safe!" Cherry cheered, "and it's all thanks to you Twilight. Is there anything I can do to repay you?"

Twilight was about to say that their love making session was enough, but then thought, "well, I do have a free day tomorrow before I go for my next shoot. Maybe we can hang out for the day."

"Yeah, sounds good. Any ideas?"

Twilight shook her head, "I'm not too familiar with Miami, so I don't have a clue."

"Well, I can come up with something. What time do you want me to pick you up tomorrow?"

"Maybe around nine in the morning?"

Cherry nodded, "sounds good to me. Now come on Bestie, let's go make another delivery."

Twilight happily nodded to that, and given how happy Cherry was, the manager allowed Twilight to join her.

Though deep down, Twilight was still wondering what Scarlet knew about Cherry.
