Chapters Chapter 1:Onward to a nightmare
Darkness surrounded me on all over as I opened my eyes again.
Thoughts swam like a tsunami in my head making me feel like I might go mad. I felt the darkness all around me that's when something appeared in front of me.
It looked like a giant spiderweb with strange images dancing in between the threads. And in the center of it was a woman. An elderly woman wearing a shiny black dress of some kind with white lines ending in a circle on her chest with six different lines going out into what looked to be the shape of a spider sitting in the center of the giant web in what looks like a throne. She also had a bandage covering her eyes meaning she was either blind or had no eyes at all.
I've seen this woman before, Somewhere. And it wasn't the first time I saw her in this black abyss either.
She raised her head and appeared to be looking at me.
"You have passed the test Jason wright, now it's time to wake up."

The sound of something cracking open and a bright light shining in my eyes causing my hands to rise up and cover them but I couldn't move them. As I tried to piece together where I was, I felt like I was laying down and in something soft and sticky. I also felt some hard substance covering my whole body like a body cast, making it hard to move at all. I was also hearing slight moving sounds all around me, as if tiny little creatures were crawling all over, or my body fell asleep.
crack-crack-CRUNCH
I felt the hard substance break off of me as I also felt myself falling off of what I was currently laying on. 'WHOA!' Luckily I was able to land on my knees with a grunt and move my arms directly in front of me in time so I wouldn't slam on the floor. My skin felt somewhat moist like I was wet all over but not quite, like slime. I tried opening my eyes a little but the light all around me was too bright for, along with the dripping slime burning my eyes.
I moved my whole body so I was just on my knees as I lifted my left arm to wipe my eyes, only to spread more slime all over my face, even entering my mouth'ugh, gross.' . I couldn't taste anything from it, but still, gross. I then lifted my right leg to the floor and the other till I was properly standing on the floor with my bare feet. I then took slight step forward and almost slipped, noticing right away that I was standing on a smooth hard surface floor. I then took another step forward and another, and another.
"Whoooahh!" almost losing my balance until both my slimy covered hands grabbed something cold and metallic 'cutting it a little too close that time there.' I then quickly used my left hand in a downwards motion, keeping my mouth closed of course, and was able to clear the stuff off my eyes to somewhat open them properly.
I saw that I was in a big white room with a tile floor, then looked at what I was grabbing was a metal handle on the side of the hospital bed.I'm in a hospital, what happened??' while my vision was still blurry I did see a door across from the room with a sign on the door. While it was hard to see what it read or what was on it, it did have the usual colors of a bathroom sign, so I walked towards it.
While I was still slipping from time to time, I was more careful until I reached the door and grabbed the knob. With that I entered the bathroom and it's sink was the first thing for me to see, so I didn't waste anytime and moved towards it. Turning the right knob on that had a red circle on top and knew it was the hot water, I turned it hearing the familiar sound of running water. Running my hands through the cold water until I felt it warm up enough, I leaned forward and washed my face. I took notice that I had to lean a little more forward than normal to reach the sink but I managed to move my head into my hands and into the warming, rushing water.
It took a little longer than I expected to clean the weird slimy liquid off my face but thankfully I got it out of eyes the most, that's what mattered. I lifted myself up turning the sink off and saw a small white towel hanging on a metal rack. I grabbed it and dried my face off "ohhh" 'okay, that's much better.' I then looked at myself in the mirror to see what injuries I had that led me to the hospital in the first place too. When I noticed the clear slime covering my naked body, oh yeah I was also butt ass naked. I look down at the sink Didn't even give me a hospital gown? what a bunch of laz....what the?? I froze and look back up with widened eyes as I took notice of something else, not just my body, but my whole self.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!"
Panic set in as I backed up quickly and tumbled to the floor landing on my butt as I tried to grasp what I saw. I then lifted myself up again to my knees, quickly and carefully getting back up, grabbing the edge of the sink counter. I then looked back at the mirror to confirm what I saw.
I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Standing in the reflection was me alright, but I looked very different than what I looked like before. And last time I checked, coma's make you older, not younger.
While it has been awhile since I had a decent workout, this was a whole new level from what I was seeing with the new well built muscles of an Olympic athlete. I knew that I was about to be in my mid thirties but right now I seem to have reverted back to early twenties I practically look like a eighteen year old high schooler all over again, the only logical explanation I can think of about that was plastic surgery done on me, but that was extremely unlikely. Even though it was designed to make you look younger and repair whatever damage your body took, it wouldn't look as accurate as before. That and there weren't any scars on me that were new.
I immediately took notice of something very much different about me that I knew were not there before. My canine teeth looked to be extended to a point. I shockingly put a finger on one of the tips and felt a sharp poke as a new pressure made itself known. As I lifted both My hands I noticed my fingernails were also pointy and extended on each finger as I brought them forward I then noticed that my skin was still the same slight tan which gave me a very small measure of relief, but not for long.
I also noticed that the bathroom light wasn't on, aside from the door still open leaving me in total darkness, except I can see very clearly in it. 'What exactly am I on right now?' that's when it hit me. I looked back to the open door and saw the hospital bed I was in and what was in the bed currently made my blood run cold and my mind to fuzz.
On the bed was a large silky looking mass, covered on the outside by some hard shell and it was split wide open. Very similar to certain insects that created such things I saw on the discovery channel. Except nowhere near as big 'A cocoon??....I was inside a COCOON!!?' I couldn't breathe, I was on the verge of having a panic attack at the realization and my sudden change. Hands wrapped around behind my head with my eyes closed tightly, kneeling on bathroom counter on the verge of losing it. 'Wake up, wake up, wake up' I kept repeating in my head over and over again while slapping it, but it was a fruitless endeavor. This was really happening "what the fuck happened to me!?" I whispered with some tears in my eyes now as I started hyperventilating.
Then I heard the sound of clip clopping from close by. I opened my eyes and walked out wondering what was making that noise. It sounded like it was coming from somewhere outside of the hospital room I was currently in, and it was getting closer.
I then moved to the bathroom entrance to the main room once again. The clopping sound I heard was louder now, followed by another. When I came out of bathroom immediately noticed another door on the far side wall. As I looked around the hospital, I suddenly had a very strange feeling of seeing a hospital room like this before. I shook that thought quickly from my already stressed mind as the clip clop sound was even closer and clearer now as I began recognizing where I heard it from.
'Hooves?' I was now confused as to why I was hearing hooves all of a sudden 'it's official, I'm losing my mind.' The hoof steps were now right outside my door.
The door opened quickly that I had to cover my eyes again from another bright glare from who was at the door. as I heard a voice speak to me, a feminine motherly voice I knew I heard before.
"Oh, Mr. Wright, your awake I see" as my eyes adjusted from the sudden blindness from the door opening, my eyes widened in shock at who was standing at the door. If my head was spinning before as what was going on earlier, it might as well have fallen off from who I saw.
A very tall pony almost the same height as me with a white coat and a mane of many colors, flowing in a none existent breeze wearing a small golden crown on her head with golden horseshoes. She also had a long horn on her forehead just above the crown and what looked like wing folded on her sides "PRINCESS CELESTIA!?" I blurted out without thinking as I stared at the very ruler of Equestria herself.
"Oh good you remember me" she said with relieved smile as she came into the hospital room. then A golden yellow glow came from her horn and a light switch next to the became covered in the same glow and the lights turned on once again blinding me.
"GAH!!"
I covered both my eyes as the startled yelp caused the Princess to gasp and then heard her magic horn go off again and then the lights dimmed. "Oh, I'm sorry I didn't mean to startle you like that." she spoke in a calm voice the same kind of voice I imagined a mother would use speaking to her child.
"What is going on her your maje-OH!" another female voice spoke as I opened my eyes and when I looked I saw a pony mare dressed like a maid walk in and her eyes widen as she looked at me "P-Princess, w-w-what is t-t-THAT!?" she pointed her hoof at me, as she looked ready to run out of the room.
"It's alright nurse, this is the patient in this room I brought in a week ago" as the princess said this the nurse never once took her eyes off me, she looked to be on the verge of having a panic attack. She then swallowed as she was obviously trying very hard to keep her cool. And considering my new appearance I just saw in the bathroom mirror, I no doubt look a lot scarier now.
And I don't blame her.
I'm still trying to wrap my head the whole time she came in. THE Princess Celestia herself was standing right in front of me, in the flesh. She looked a hell of a lot more realistic than in the cartoon, but other than that she looked just the same in every other category "wh-what is going....? before I could even try to explain what was happening right now the Princess walked up to me.
"It's alright, I imagine your still pretty confused by all this. Do you remember what happened?" she spoke gently with a calm face, even if it hardly seemed to work in the state my mind was in. I thought about what she meant, did she know what happened to me and why I look like this? A week? That's how long I was out! I was still beyond freaked out that I shook my head before looking back at her.
I felt a soft touch on my shoulders as I looked back at the princess who now had one of her wings wrapped around me despite the slime still covering me. Though judging from the slight discomfort on her face that only showed up half a second she probably regrets it, though she didn't seem to care right now "It's alright Jason, I know your scared and I will help figure out what happened, but right now your going to need some new clothes and a proper shower." that reminded me I was still in the nude which made both my hands cover between my legs, causing red to appear on my cheeks.
The Princess giggled at my embarrassment as the nurse was still quite terrified of me. She was still frozen at the door entrance looking back between me and the princess, unsure what to do. Princess Celestia then cleared her throat and pushed back to bathroom "Go on Jason, well talk when your ready. My sister and nephew need to hear this too but I rather not repeat myself. Until then I will have one of the maids have some new personal clothes ready for you when you finish."
I just about turned around entirely facing her before she finished her sentence. I thought for a moment as I look at her(still covering my pride of course)and then nodded as I went to bathroom for a shower.
I stepped into the bathroom again closing the door behind me as I jumped in the shower. I also seem to have a new problem 'Jeez, wouldn't it be easier to design a shower for all species instead of just for ponies' not sure why they haven't yet 'meh, I'll figure it out eventually.' I then reached for the knob that turns on the shower, twisting the knob to the hot water.
squeak CRANK
"OH, SHi-!!!" cold Water splattered that was me as the shower knob ripped off the wall. Shielding myself as much as I can as the new hole in the wall barreled out uncontrollably. I did manage to reach the wall trying to cover it to stop all the water with my back slammed into the wall. That was partially working but not for long as I heard cracking in the wall. I turned to see that the squared bath wall was on the verge of falling apart "uh-oh." this was not good at all.
I heard hushed shouting from outside as the bathroom door slammed open.
"Jason is everything a-AH"

The shouting was caught off as a sudden noise from out of nowhere and a large tingling sensation in my head caused me to move without thinking. everything moved as if in slow motion when I ran to the princess. A loud tumbling sound from behind was heard but I didn't even acknowledge it as I grabbed her in both arms and jumped as a loud sound of rushing water was right behind me.
When I came to, I was standing outside of a massive hallway, which I recognized belonged to Canterlot castle with the princess still wrapped around my arms as I laid on the side as if shielding his body from harm.
"wh-what happened" Celestia said as I got off the floor and let her go.
"FREEZE"
'Ugh, now what?' I then turned to the third voice as four white ponies wearing golden armor on white coats came running towards us. And they did not look happy to see me.
"Halt monster, stand away from the Princess now," the one leading the charge spoke as he pointed a spear he was holding with his wing inches from my face "wait I didn't....." I tried to say but two of them put spears in my face, silencing me
"your highness, are you okay?" the head guard spoke not taking his eyes off me for even a second.
"Y-Yes I'm fine, lieutenant" Celestia said getting up from the floor.
"Don't worry your highness, we'll take care of this" he said as he glared as him and the others moved towards me, weapons drawn with the lieutenant having bladed wings on his feathers, similar to daggers.
"H-hey wait a min-"I tried to say but was cut off.
"SILENCE MONSTER, YOU ATTACK OUR PRINCEES AND WILL SUFFER FOR IT" the leader pony who was the lieutenant I heard Celestia say shouted.
'VVVVRRRRIIII'
The same tingling feeling vibrated around me again as I ducked out of the way of a spear an inch from my face was about to impale me. The guard next to him tried to jump on me but I caught him by the throat before he could land on my head. Moving faster than I ever did before in my life as I threw the second guard at the first one, knocking them both away as the two others ran at me.
"WILL YOU JUST STOP ALREADY!"I shouted pointlessly, of course at this time there was no point in reasoning with these guys, they were hellbent on taking me out.
The third guard to come towards me was also a pegasus as he flew up above towards me. I jumped out of the way of his charge in a mighty leap just in time The fourth one was about slug punch me directly in the face, but I moved my fist in time as it made contact with his hoof.
C-CRACK-K-K
The gold armor on the stallions hoof shattered on impact with my fist, from the sound of it, it sounded like I shattered his hoof too. I stared at my fist wide eyed over what just happened 'WOAH???' my fist wasn't even hurt or fractured at all.
The other guards were even more angry after seeing their comrade injured, all moved quickly towards me with the intent of taking me down all at once.
Until a familiar golden glow appeared in front of them, stopping in their tracks.
"ENOUGH!!! " a loud booming voice shouted right behind me as I turned towards the Princess, and she did not sound happy as she glared at them 'good thing I covered my ears in time.'
"Your highness what are you do-"
"STAND DOWN AT ONCE, ALL OF YOU!"
The lieutenant and his three lackeys immediately jumped back as their ruler put them in their place, thankfully.
"Care to explain why you were all attacking my guest lieutenant Slicer Wing."
"GUEST???" they all said at once, piecing together what was happening. This didn't satisfy Celestia as her anger burned holes and something tells me that doesn't happen often. I gulped a little as I looked at her and honestly she was pretty scary too. Her mane was darting out all over the place, looking similar to fire and since she does have the power to move the sun itself on this world I'd stay as far as possible 'mental note to self, never piss her off.' I thought as she lowered her magic field between us.
The lieutenant was the first to speak, still glaring menacingly at of course as I glared back "your highness this creature attacked you, we heard a noise and saw this....monstrosity attack you."
Okay now I was mad at this guy too, straight up attacking me out of the blue and just jumping to conclusions instead of getting her side of the story was just asking for it. Even the others nodded in agreement which wasn't making their situation any better.
"He, DID, no such thing, in fact you should be congratulating him for his heroics." she said turning to me with a smile as the guards now had become speechless. The lieutenant on the other hand was fuming now, still believing his own story.
"You expect to believe that this thing save you, he was clearly on the verge of devouring you!"
"Fuck you too asshole!"
I heard the princess clear her throat as I said this with a look telling me to stop talking. I raised both my hands and looked away while the lieutenant smirked.
"You all actually believe that?" she looked at all the guards who, aside from lieutenant 'Dumb Wing' didn't meet her gaze at all, knowing they just made a big mistake. Celestia then looked with disappointment which made them more nervous in the process "I see..... well then would you like to hear the truth then." Seems they all knew better than to object at this time anyways "very well, Mr. Wright, would you explain what happpened?" as she turned back to me.
"Gladly" I boasted loudly at her which made the guards cringe and their stupid leader of their little assault snarl and look away. "I was about to take a shower and a pipe burst" as I said this my smile grew and grew as they were all starting to look guilty.
"Pfff, likely story why would a creature like you even need a shower?" lieutenant 'Dumb Wing' spoke once again as I gave him the finger without looking at him.
"Because I told him he could." Celestia said looking at the lieutenant as he got confused by this question "and no more offensive gestures Mr. Wright, please" I wasn't even surprised she even knew what the middle meant, which ALSO surprised me.
"What exactly do you mean your highness?" Slicer spoke as some confusion dotted his face.
"Well you see Mr. Wright here was getting treatment in the hospital wing from critical injuries here" as she spoke "This here was the very room he was staying in" She then looked at me "there is one thing I need to know, how did the bathroom get flooded Jason?" this of course was the question I knew at some point was coming up.
I scratched my head as I looked away at from her, unsure how to respond and I was also reminded once again I was still naked too which didn't help. "I.....accidently broke the shower faucet." I still did not look at her when I said this but I still answered as honestly as I could.
"And how did you do that?" she asked.
"I-I don't know I just turned it, it made a loud squeaky sound and snapped right off the wall, then the wall collapsed." I finally looked at her again when I said that and her look of surprise, actually surprised me too. Then she looked away for a second before looking back at me.
"That's....interesting." she said as the guards weren't happy with the answer I gave her.
"Your majesty y-y-you don't actually believe this creature do you" this asshole spoke in disbelief at her. Okay, he was starting to really piss me off now and the other guards looked like they wanted to run now as they saw me get angry at him.
"Well then, why don't we take a look inside his room and see what happened." Celestia then walked towards the broken door and went inside the hospital room. The dome I was in dissipated as well, causing the guards to tense at me being free. "relax everypony, Mr. Wright clearly isn't a threat, see to it you aren't a threat to him either" all the guards tensed at the princesses tone for they knew better than to disobey her which gave me smug smile at them all and a glare back from their leader again.
As we entered my hospital room I stared in surprise what happened. There was still quite a bit of water leaking down from the shower soaking the entire floor in the bathroom. And in the bathroom well....it wasn't really a bathroom anymore. The wall from the shower as I described collapsed exposing the pipes underneath.
"Now Mr. Wright I want you to take a look at this pipe and tell me what you see" Celestia looked at me from in the bathroom and I came in.
I wasn't quite sure why she wanted me to look at it, I'm not exactly the right guy to ask about this stuff but whatever. I entered the destroyed bathroom and approached the collapsed wall as I stood next to the princess staring at the pipes and the faucet on the floor next to her. I kept looking at them unsure what want me find under than the pipe bursted from within and the faucet was bent out of shape.
'Wait, what??'
I looked at the faucet on the floor, then reached down to pick it up for a closer look. The faucet wasn't just broken off, it was bent out from the top half of the pipe, meaning I didn't snap it off. Not to mention the metal cover for it was broken in half.
"No way, I have to have the strength of an ox to pull that off?" I said to myself out loud in surprise as if this transformation wasn't freaky enough already, I guess the new muscles I have were for more than show.
"Yes it appears your much stronger than originally anticipated, I admit I didn't see this outcome." she covered her mouth with a forehoof as she said this when I looked at her. This was far too stressful for me right now, I didn't even look at her as I left. "Jason?"
I finally looked back at her with an unhappy look "what is it you did to me exactly" I said accusingly glaring at her "tell me."
"Jason please, just let me-"
"NO YOU CAN'T JUST NOT TELL ME AND EXPECT ME TO BE OKAY WITH......with......THIS!" I widened my arms at her as I shouted angry that she's even doing this to me at all "NO ONE IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD FINE WITH WHAT'S HAPPENING TO ME AT ALL, NONE WHATSOEVER! NOW TELL ME RIGHT NOW OR I WALK, NAKED OR NOT!
"THAT'S IT!" lieutenant Slicer not happy I'm shouting at Celestia charged at me in rage. I turned at him as he jumped at me with his wing blades pointed at me and I raised my fist to his face.
"JASON, NO!" the princess shouted in her regular voice as another golden aura covered the pony as my fist made contact with the constructed shield covering his face. A huge shockwave from my fist making contact with the shield shattering sending me on my back as the lieutenant was sent flying out the room.
I stood up as quickly as I fell, staring at the guard pony landing on the floor unconscious from the blow as I raised my fist. Princess Celestia stared in shock at what just transpired, as she approached me. I didn't move without thinking about my actions I was this close to taking a life right in front of her.
And it absolutely terrified me.
"Jason?" she spoke noticing my expression as I stood, but I didn't even hear her say my name or even bother responding. I started trembling again as she came closer. All of what was happening came rushing back to me at once, my transformation, my arrival in Equestria, me fighting ponies and of course almost killing one. it was all too much. Not looking back I ran out the room, running away from this nightmare as I went down the hall.
I kept running even when I wasn't quite sure where I was going, all the hallways and doors looked similar to the ones I've been for what felt like a half hour. The castle was huge, bigger than any place I've been to, to the point it's starting to feel like I'm going in circles and i probably am.
I stopped and looked down at myself 'first things first, need to find me some clothes and avoid all the locals.' I'm surprised with how quickly I came used to my nudity. It really shows how great my new body feels despite all that happened.
I picked a hallway and ran down towards it. The first door I saw, I opened and went in closing it behind me. I appear to have entered what I can guess was a guest bedroom, from the bed in the middle against a wall to all the furniture in it. The bed was normal sized which I was grateful for because if it was a much bigger bed I would have most likely stumbled into princess Celestia's personal chambers. The wardrobe most likely had some clothes in there. However opening it I never thought things through on the problem I would have.
"Of course, pony clothes" all the clothes I could see were designed for ponies, not humans, so no way was that going to work out. I looked at the bed and that's when I had an idea 'I could use the bedsheets to make myself a cloak' I know the princess wasn't going to be happy with this, but at this point I could care less.
I went to the bed, took the sheets out of the bed and proceeded to wrap around until I heard a ripping sound.
I looked down at the sheet I put around my waist and saw a huge tear from the middle where I was tightening them.
A sound of a bunch of hooves came outside the door. I ducked under the bed, untying the sheets and stayed quiet, hoping they wouldn't come in 'thank you SO MUCH Murphy.' I thought hating myself right now.
I heard the hoof steps stop as they ran past the room I was in but I didn't breathe a sigh of relief yet. I then heard another pair of hooves stop at the door to my hiding place as I then hear it open. 'please don't look under the bed, PLEASE don't look under the bed' I didn't want to risk peeking from under the bed as that's another fate I won't tempt. I heard the door creak open but no one came in yet, my guess was that they were peeking into the room and looking around. I held my breath, being as quiet as much as possible.
They might just leave I was starting to think, but that hope dashed away as the pony finally came in. from the metal sounds I'm hearing with the hooves, it sounds like the metal of royal guard boots. The guard stood on the side of the bed on the opposite side of where I crawled under. I then risked turning my head and saw a pony ear poking out as the face of a mare guard looked under and right at me.
I was frozen as we looked at each other, when the guard moved her head left and right slightly. I stood stock still as she kept looking under the bed, not really looking at me anymore. Finally she lifted her head left and then went to the side I crawled under, she then stopped where the sheets I left on the floor were. I heard a slight hum come from her, then she walked further up the bed and I heard a door open on and she walked in.
I started getting slightly relieved but I wasn't out of the woods yet. While I'm still not wanting to tempt fate I can't let her find me. I slowly and quietly slid out from under the bed and snuck to the door. I reached my hand for the doorknob until I touched it.
"AH!" I froze. I couldn't see my hand at all, it was gone, completely gone.
I then heard the familiar sound of golden booted hooves rushing behind as I turned my head slowly looking at the guard mare right behind me. She must have heard me as she came back out to where I was standing, in a pose ready to attack. I awaited the inevitable confrontation by slowly turning towards her and lifting both my hands hopefully showing that I wasn't a threat to her as she glared at me. For a minute nothing happened, then I saw her eyes dart left and then right as she did earlier and even looked confused.
Now it was my turn to be confused 'why is she just standing there? She's acting weird like she can't.....can't?' I look down at my body again '...she....she can't see me!' I can still feel my hand but I can't see it '...I'm invisible!.....' as if this wasn't nuts in so many ways right now '.....I'M COMPLETELY INVISIBLE!!'
"Hnhh, still nothing" she said, she then went to door as I moved out of her way quietly and she left with the door closing. A wave of relief finally relaxed my beating heart as she was now gone.
"Phew too close there Jason " it was time for me to get back to making clothes with bed sheets.
It took a few minutes as I was being careful not to tear the sheets anymore now but I got it. They were comfy but looked like I was wearing a very bad dress the element of Generosity herself would die seeing. But at least I was now covered in some form of modesty now, so I didn't care about how bad it looked and I was really not letting anyone else see my junk either.
I opened the door back out to the hallway looking to make sure no one was there. I went down to my left hoping the hall would change down further. I walked this time much calmer now that I wasn't scared out of my mind now. I was still freaked out about this and still blaming Celestia for it. But at the same time, I was having second thoughts about it now. She was obviously planning on telling me later but things escalating as they did changed all that in a snap 'maybe if 'Slice your dick off' wasn't such a xenophobe I wouldn't have knocked him into a wall.'
"Yes, he shouldn't have, but you shouldn't have aggravated him either"
"Yeah right, the guy was asking for it"
"Even so, you must not let him get to you young Jason, that's just asking for trouble."
"Trouble!?, Guys like him are always trouble. It may have been my life's dream to come to Equestria, but I'm not taking shit from guys like him either."
Dreams aren't the same as reality.
"And what's that supposed to me-"
I stopped walking, looking around for anyone, nothing but the same hallway.
"WHO SAID THAT!?"I shouted in alarm, my eyes still searching the halls.
I did.
The voice sounded female, cold but sadistic and yet calm. It didn't sound like it was in one location, in fact it sounded like a voice I was hearing all around me. It definitely wasn't Celestia or her sister Luna although the voice sounded familiar "oh great, so now I'm hearing voices now, what else is going to happen?" I knew I was probably on the verge of losing it. the real question of the day is how much.
"Huh?" a cloud of purple mist started appearing all around me as I heard the mysterious voice speak again.
While it might be good idea for you to take it easy today, I assure Jason you are not losing your mind.

The mist was so thick I couldn't see where I was anymore. The mist blew all around me completely covering me head to toe until as quickly as it appeared, it vanished.
When the mist dissipated I was in a dark almost pitch black area, similar to the design of a cave. I then felt someone watching me from behind, so I turned to look who it was.
"It is time for us to have a proper conversation now, don't you think?"
The individual I saw smiled at me slightly. Another human? this caused my thoughts to go wild again as I saw who it was. The same elderly human woman I saw when I was dreaming, sitting in the center of a giant spiderweb even wearing the exact same dress like before. the very same woman I saw in a nineties cartoon show and comic books I read as a kid.
"Madam Webb!?"

And.....done the complete rebooted chapter. When I looked up the Ending original I was, as it turns out, expecting the sequel, Not the original. It urns out I never read the original at all and I always assumed Jason was around his early twenties when he was actually around his thirties, which was very dumb on my part but it also makes me happier that I rebooted this story. I also think this is a much better beginning chapter than the last one. There are probably a few mistakes on this chapter and I did correct the ones I saw and reread a few times to be sure it's accurate enough.
Chapter 2: An unexpected explanation

Sorry it took so long to make this chapter, I had a lot going on right now at home. But don't worry I wont take so long with the next one but I can't making any promises either.
Chapter 2: An unexpected explanation
You know, out of all the crazy things to happen to me since I got here wasn't anywhere as bad as this comic book crap I am now witnessing. This was the most insanity I ever went through in all my life at once that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy.
And that's saying something.
"What do you mean by that, exactly?" I asked a little less angry than I was and more exhausted than ever by all the stress that it feels like a wacked up dream. Honestly asking questions was the only coping mechanism I had at the moment as I looked at the old woman in helplessness. You would all do the same in my shoes I'm sure, If I had shoes that is.
"Exactly as you think young Jason." Madam Webb spoke calmly to me, must be trying to keep my head for sanity's sake. Not sure if I like that it's working on me though. "While this is an awful lot for you to take in, I'm sure. You must understand the new burden you carry. There is a serious threat coming that I can't do alone."
"Understatement of my life, among other things I would like nothing to do with" I said in a very unhappy tone, already knowing I'm not going to like what she was going to tell me next. which brought me to my next question "how are you even here anyways?"
"Tell me, what do you know of the multiverse." she asked me. This was a topic that I knew about but didn't have much in the way of understanding it. Of course it's obviously real otherwise there was no Equestria for me to be in. I knew I wasn't going to like what she was telling me but I decided to humor her.
"Not a lot, all I know is that it's endless universes existing across different versions of reality" I told her trying to make it simple and easy to understand myself. "There all unique in their own way, some are totally different, others are just like ours in a lot of ways but not quite." Yep I didn't like where this was going at all like I knew I would.
"Then you know what happened to you." she said as I stared at her piecing together everything she said. My transformation, my sudden arrival in a world I've been dreaming of going since I became a fan and of course the character of a comic book sitting in front of me. This was all a crazy situation. This I needed to get to the bottom of right now.
"What do you mean?" I questioned again "how am I supposed to know what exactly happened to me? I get to go to Equestria like I always wanted. What's the big deal?"
"Think Jason, what was it that you last remember?" she said pointing a finger to her own forehead as she did. I looked at and even tried to answer her but found that I couldn't no matter how hard I thought about it.
'What did happen to me before I arrived here? Okay let's see I saw that link online for a portal going to Equestria. I remember saying goodbye to everyone that knew me and I?.......and I.....and I.....' my thoughts stopped as a gap in my memory made itself known. I don't remember anything else other than just waking up in the hospital wing earlier in the day. I did feel like there was more missing than just my memory and even more questions now rose in my head. The only other problem was that I was scared about them being let out due to all the madness of the situation.
"I...I don't......." I thought long and hard, nothing came which was worrying. I couldn't remember at all what happened to me. It was all blank after showing up here "waking up earlier was all I remember."
"I see, well then, let show you." she waved her hand in a backwards wave "come on up here, and I will reveal the answer to you." I walked up the stone steps to her chair and approached her as I came to the old lady. When I stood in front of her she gestured for me to kneel, so I did.
She then put both hands on the side of my head and everything went black.
When my vision came back I was standing in the forest I recognized right away. The exact same forest I found the way to Equestria. In the middle of the forest in front of an overgrown front yard to an abandoned cabin was a yellow vortex.
"Woah?" I spoke without realizing it, it was even the same way I spoke when I first found it and before my age reversing from being cocooned. I tried moving my arms and legs but they only moved in the direction they did before, already telling me what was wrong. These were events that already happened and cannot be altered.
"Well....here I go." I said to myself and that's when I remember now. This was the day I decided to go through. I remembered thinking about it for a month before going through with this as I knew I wasn't going back. Like a true human in Equestria fanfiction, my trip through the portal I stood in front of it was a one way trip.
Did I have doubts, of course, anyone would in this situation. But I made up my mind that I knew would change my life forever.
As I approached the vortex, air blowing into it's spinning energy span as I approached it.

"Huh?" when I stood in front, trying hard not to get sucked in(even if that totally is my intention, I still didn't want to get hurt) as a whirl of different colors followed by the vortex turning black and white for a moment, followed by a swarm of different colors and patterns appearing what I thought was colored glass or the vortex was..... from the looks of it, it seemed to be.... glitching, like on a video game screen.
I shook it off and moved my hand towards the spinning mass and then I felt myself getting pulled even more. Until another glitched wave passed through the vortex as I pulled my hand back quickly and moved back, no longer sure about this.
Okay, well maybe I should send a camera through first before I...."OW!" I then felt a painful pinch on my hand and slapped my other hand on it as I saw what it was.
A tiny little spider that seemed to be glowing, bit me on the back of my hand.
As I slapped my hand, I lurched forward slightly but just enough for the swirling vortex to pull me forward, almost lifting me off my feet as I saw the mass start to change again.
"Woah, not good! NOT GOOO o-i- WOO OOAHH A#_+_HHHH
It was too late to push back as I was pulled in and out the other side.
It felt like the worst rollercoaster ride I have ever been on as my body felt like it was being pulled, stretched and spun around in all the ways you can think of as the glitching portal sucked me in.
I finally felt like a slingshot marble getting launched in the air as I came out the other side, followed by extreme pain as I slammed against, what felt like a wall hard enough for my skeleton to feel like it was crunching on impact. Then I went flying with almost the same momentum to the opposite side, until I fell face first into the ground.
Everything hurt all over as I tried moving my limbs only for them to painfully twitch. I felt something starting to leak in the dirt as well, which was a really bad sign.
I then heard voices all around me as I looked around seeing a mass of colors all over the area I crashed in. My vision was too blurry to make out what I saw until a much larger white colored mass, looking like it was glowing in the daylight moved towards me quickly.
Hello ... you ...... I could only look up as a face moved towards mine, I recognized her right away despite my horrible vision.
"Pr....princeeee....C-C..." my severely damaged jaw got some words out but unfortunately it was barely a whisper as pain made my head land back down on the ground as I grunted.
My vision started blackening as the voice of princess Celestia shouted at me to stay awake as a familiar colored glow surrounded my body.
When my vision cleared up again, I was looking at the inside of a certain silky cocoon I popped out of not too long ago. Not only that, I saw a whole bunch of spiders crawling around, wrapping me up as well with the silk. I can practically feel how messed up my body was.
"Hurry, we muzt finish ze cocoon before he diez." I heard a hissy voice speak next to my ear. I tried to turn my head to see who it was that spoke, but my neck was held in place by the silky substance around me.
"Muzt hurry, muzt hurry, muzt hurry" I heard more voices repeating all around me as if they were in the cocoon with me, but all I can see was the spiders crawling around still.
"He muzt leve/he muzt leve/ he muzt leve" the voices repeated over and over as the spiders seemed to be moving around more frantically now, being commanded by a presence I can't see, only hear, until I felt one of the spiders crawl to my ear.
"You're Zafe now." I heard a hissy voice come from the spider, putting one of it's forearms I recognized was the first voice I heard speaking to the others. "Nozing to fear now."
Then everything started going dark again.
As I came to, Madam Webb let go of my head as I moved backwards, slightly dizzy from all the shock of what I just witnessed.
I should have guessed what happened to me the moment I first saw her. It couldn't be more obvious what I am now. It might even be considered a dream come true, but only if it was wanted.
"So....you decided to turn me into a Spider-man huh?" I spoke as I crossed my arms glaring at her "it makes sense now, getting bit by a spider, transforming into....this and with a lovely little cherry on top you show up out of the blue."
I can tell I was making her pissing her off which made me smile a little "Hmph, you certainly have a lot of nerve speaking to me like that." she said not backing off for a second, despite every instinct telling me to run away as I can feel how powerful she is "while I did send the spider to you, you have to understand the reason why." she almost snapped at me.
I walked back up to her, her blindfolded face following my every move as I put mine in hers. "You just show up here, in another universe! All I wanted was to live peacefully in this world, NOT BECOME A SUPERHERO!" I pointed a sharp claw nail at her, almost touching her head as she glared back at me "You ever stop to think this wasn't what I wanted, you selfish old- GAH."
"ENOUGH! " I felt a grasp on myself, holding and pushing me back asso a shout in a certain Canterlot voice from behind me and I immediately turned around to see who it was. The alicorn was dark blue and younger than her sister and shorter as well "That is enough Jason. This isn't going to help any of us. While I understand your anger, taking it out on those that are trying to help you won't make this situation any easier for us. Especially when you need friends more than anything right now."
"I see. Then tell me princess Luna, what friends do I have? Who can possibly help MY issues right now!?" I sarcastically snapped back at her, causing a look of hurt to appear for a second on her face only to be replaced by anger.
"You can't do this alone. You know that." she walked up the stairs, standing in front of me and was about to put her hoof on my left shoulder but I swatted it away.
"Do what exactly?" I knew that being a superhero in some situations would be wonderful but people need to learn to wake up. That never ends well for anyone, except in the comics.
"Is this what your sister wanted?" Webb said behind me, feeding my anger even. I clenched my fists as I turned back to her. "Would she want you to run, hide, while the ponies you care, suffer and die? I'm giving you a once in an infinite opportunity here." Then it was her turn to point her finger at me. "This world is in danger and I caused quite a lot of risk giving you that opportunity. now stop acting like a spoiled little 'SHIT' and start being there for those that need you right here, right now! Or there won't be a paradise for you." the old woman's voice broke a little. Despite her cold heartedness, she clearly still had feelings and they were on a rampage thanks to me.
She looked back up at me as if expecting me to say something back but I couldn't even speak. She was in pain emotionally which wasn't a good sign, I really didn't know what to say to her without making anything worse for myself. I can tell after just letting all that out she was in pain, not physically but emotionally. I knew exactly what she was going through from that look on her face too.
"What happened?" I said no longer angry at her as the old woman looked down to the floor. I couldn't even tell if she heard me or not as she just sat there it might've been better to not say anything at all at this point, unless I want to feel her wrath upon me. Thankfully she did look at me again although her anger was long gone which caused concern for both me and a look of deep sadness on Luna's face Though whether it was for her or me or even both of us, I couldn't say.
I wasn't actually concerned for her wellbeing, just what she would do to me if I went too far, considering she literally has superhuman abilities, this was not a person I wanted to mess with. I don't know a lot about Madam Webb, so what she can do to me was something I really didn't want to find out.
I still know a little about her, as I only saw a few episodes of that 90s cartoon with her in it. I knew she had some kind of mystic abilities but I'm not sure if it's magic or not. And I remember one of my friends from junior high even mentioned she was a mutant too.
Finally she took a deep breath and looked up at me "I shouldn't expect much friendly behavior from you to begin with." she said which got me to cringe, I even wanted to speak out but I did get myself tied up in this to begin with. And pissing her off any more will just come back to bite my ass, I don't know how I can tell though.
"Look, I really don't know what's going on here, but I really just want to live a better life than at home. That's why I came here in the first place, so can't you just, I don't know, get rid of these powers?"
Madame Webb then glared at me again as I said this and with a now disgusted look on her face spoke.
"A better life? Is that why you wanted to come to a fantasy world to begin with? So you can live happily ever after?" her voice was cold as the coldest ice as she spoke this. Even the princess looked unnerved by it too. "Well that isn't how it works here Jason. You must wake up from your delusions, this is the best option for you here and I suggest you take it. You may dislike the outcome, but you are going to have to deal with it yourself. So no the power of the Spider-man is now yours."
With that the purple mist reappeared and I ended up back in the castle.
For a half hour now I kept mentally kicking myself for how stupid I was. What was probably my one chance of getting changed back into a normal human was just flushed down the drain.
'Nice going you dumbass, now what do you do?' I snapped angrily to myself for my whole problem. I guess I need to find a way to deal with this mess later, for now I need to find Celestia and apologize for losing my temper with her. And of course blaming her for this new change to myself. Boy is that going to be fun for me. Now I just need to find a way to the throne ro-
"THERE IT IS!!"
'Oh shit' I cringed in annoyance, turning towards the shouting voice as I saw royal guards come rushing towards me. I recognized the voice of one of them right away along with the dented armor he wore after punching him in the face. I also noticed that whatever it was that made his fur white, which I assume was an enchantment in the armor, was revealed underneath.
I knew right away he was a pegasus thanks to the wings on his sides (and the blades of course), but he now had black fur with a spiked looking mane making him look like a pink styled brute of some kind. His helmet was off too, even his bladed wings were a different color. Before they were a shining silver almost white, now there about as dark as his fur. 'Hiding his weapons in plain sight. Why do I get the feeling he's about to cause a lot of trouble with those?' I knew I was in deep with this guy.
The pack of guards came up and stopped in front of me "Lieutenant, is this the creature?" I heard a mare night guard spoke as she stood almost in front of the lieutenant. I also noticed some kind of wavy energy field around her, which was really weird. 'Looks like it might be a light bending energy wrapped around her. Must be an illusion of some kind.' I thought then shook my head in surprise 'woah, where did that come from?'
"Damn right this is the monster, now get out of the way and let me take care of business." he said popping his neck as he looked ready to strangle me to death.
"And what's that supposed to mean, if I recall the princesses requested that he be returned unharmed and from what I heard you haven't given her a good reason to trust you" the night guards mare glared and got into his face, practically nose to nose as he glared back at her.
"And!?" was this guy for real? "It thinks it has no repercussions whatsoever and expects to GET AWAY WITH IT!?" The other guards seemed to be siding with him on this one. Guess I shouldn't expect less from those only following orders.
"I see." the female guard said not at all happy with the lieutenant at all "it seems that a punishment is in order for you then." this caused the little asshole lieutenant's glare to intense as he looked ready to punch her in the face. "And if you even think about assaulting me, just remember I'm not the leader of the night guard for nothing." this did cause him to back off in surprise now as I looked as the wave of energy wrapped around her dissipated.
Lieutenant Slicer Wing for the very first time I saw him surprised was way more satisfying than I thought it should be.'Yep it was an illusion.' I though as I saw her, I was more surprised I pieced that together so easily. I was the only one that saw through it as well. 'New and improved eyesight makes a great illusion breaker apparently.'
"G-General Shadow Terror!?" the lieutenant was completely baffled from this all of a sudden. I tried very hard to hold in a laugh as his face grew pale at the batmare in front of him "what are YOU doing here? This isn't your problem!" this guy was so asking for it as she glared at him.
"Actually it is." she pulled a scroll out of the saddle on her side and opened it "I got a personnel message from both princesses claiming that a member of the solar guard assaulted a royal guest on castle grounds. That wouldn't be you would it?" getting into his face again as she said this and this time the asshole was completely backed into a corner.
"Fine." the solar guard finally said in defeat as he read the scroll "you and that stupid freak can walk but don't expect a clean slate from this." he angrily pointed at us both as he and the rest of his 'bully force' walked away. While the lieutenant gave me one last glare I lifted my middle finger at him. I know he had no idea what it meant as he raised an eyebrow at me, but I didn't care.
I walked up to the batmare night guard "as much fun as it is watching him get a taste of his own medicine. We really need to move this along." This got her undivided attention on me now, as it got her to calm down from the soon to be fight.
"Alright, let's get going then" she turned down the hallway as I followed her.
The walk was silent as we finally reached the throne room which was fine with me. The batmare was very quiet, I had to look where she was a few times to make sure she was still there. Her footsteps didn't echo, the satchel that she wore moved slightly but no sound or shuffle from it's contents, hell I couldn't even tell if she was breathing, even with my hearing stronger than ever there was no sound I can hear.
"Well, here you go. They're waiting for you inside." she stepped aside and motioned for me inside as I looked at the door. I then turned back to her to say thanks. Only to find her gone.
'Wow training in stealth. Very fitting for night guards and of course her name is literally Shadow. She even looks like Shadow the Hedgehog, somewhat.' It's true, she had a black fur coat with red cat-like eyes that almost glowed and even a few bright red marking on her wings. While I can't see through the enchantments of her armor I imagined she did have a red mane.
I looked up to see darkness all over the roof, if I could see her of course. Sometimes stealth operatives back home hide in the dark too or in plain sight but even though I'm seeing much better in the dark areas and even I still saw nothing. Either she really did leave or I am unable to see her at all. Oh well I'll have to test my new abilities eventually anyways. Even if wasn't looking forward to it.
Oddly enough no guards were standing at the sides of the big doors. With that thought I opened the throne doors by pressing as hard as I could. Or maybe it was slamming them open with how loud they hit the walls on the other side with a loud slam and almost falling on the floor in surprise. 'ooooh Riiiight, super strength' I now had all eyes on me in the throne room *VVVVRRRRIIII* which was followed by the familiar tingling sensation I felt in my head when I was being attacked by Slicer Wing.
A solar guard with a spear tried jumping on me but I leaped above him, avoiding him entirely as he lost his balance and hit the floor. Another guard aimed his own spear at my torso as he charged forward. I grabbed the spear by where the sharp point was placed at, stopping and lifting the pony by the other end of spear, knocking the wind out of him with only one arm.
I turned as two more solar guards came at me all at once. While I wasn't an acrobat by any means, I didn't do much sports in school but I was jumping and dodging like a pro Olympic acrobat. Not a single one of them touched me.
I now stood in the middle of the massive room, staring as the guards were surrounding me.
"STOOOOP." a familiar voice shouting on the edge of blasting us all away from the very back broke the silence behind me and I turned. Princess Celestia stood up from her throne as she approached all of us. "No more attacking my guest." she demanded but all the guards around me stood ready for a fight as she said this.
"But your majesty-" one of the guards tried to say until a glare from her shuts him up. All the others kept pointing their spears at me though. 'Does every solar guard here have it out for me here, Or are they all just that stupid?' I was really confused at that. I know they're just doing their job but come on, you need to know when your crossing the line
Thankfully the princess saw my distress and gestured all her guards to stand down. Even though she ordered them to stop attacking me, it looks like they still might too from all their focuse and stances directed at me.
"I, SAID, STAND, DOWN." she shouted at them almost in her full Canterlot voice from what the air around her was blowing, again and finally they all backed away, spears pointed away, although they still glared at me. "I will not allow anymore unauthorized violence on castle grounds. is that understood?"
She was followed by a 'yes your highness' from all of them at once, still the glares remained on me. SERIOULY!? WHAT IS THEIR PROBLEMS!? I folded my arms, honestly I was hoping one of them would try something so I can beat some sense in them. Even if it will make me look bad.
"Thank you, now leave." they hesitated for a minute, until another glare from their princess got them out like their lives depended on it. I had to do a double take on that as it took me a second to realize they were even gone.
'Okay, what's going on here?' it wasn't like Celestia to lose her temper like that, even if this the very first time I met her in person. Maybe me running off on her had something to with it. I scolded at myself as I approached the alicorn.
I let out a big sigh and walked up to her. As I approached her throne I just stood in front of her as she sat down, not even looking at me. Yeah, totally not awkward at all. what should I even say to her, that I'm sorry, that I lost my temper. I was just going over in my head again and again about it until I spoke again.
"Listen I...." I only got two words out as she then looked at me. She didn't look angry but she looked tired which caught me off guard. "Thanks....for getting rid of those guys." SERIOUSLY!!? I couldn't believe I just said that. Is that all you can say now!?
She just kept looking at me, not moving, just staring at me like the walking dead.
"And......I'm sorry... about getting mad at you. You didn't deserve that" still nothing, not even moving as she kept that stare going, which was starting to put me on edge. "Okay, Celestia can you please just tell me what\'s going on?" I still didn't get anything from her, for all I knew she fell asleep with her eyes open and it was making me really uncomfortable. "WOULD YOU PLEASE JUST SAY SOMETHING I'M REALLY STARTI- oof."
My vision was then filled with white as the princess jumped at me. I thought she was going to strangle me for a moment but no warnings from my new spider sense yet as she wrapped around me. Along with the sobs I heard coming from her and the slight moisture I now felt dripping on my shoulder. I was taken off guard again for what felt like a million times now. I just stood there as she cried on my shoulder, hugging me tighter and leaving me beyond confused.
"Celestia?" I did manage to get her attention as she lifted her head off me and looked at me with red teary eyes.
"J-Jason I...." she looked down "you...are you okay." it was my turn to just stare at her as she said that. She just met me and she's flipping out over me running away and just asked me if I was okay, which just left me baffled. And she just met me, why would this be so upsetting to her anyways?
"Would you please tell me what's got you so freaked out all of a sudden?" I said a little louder than I intended "Your really starting to get on my nerves here!"
Celestia still didn't look at me, I admit that almost got me mad again. Almost "I-I got worried when you ran off, I thought...I thought something terrible happened to you." My eyes widened in surprise as I was now trying to process her sudden caring of my own wellbeing was overwhelming.
"Why?" I said still locked in her grasp as I felt a slight tug from hooves on my shoulders.
"I need to come clean with you now Jason, your the most important being right now. More than you realize." This got my attention as she finally took her forehooves off of me as she then walked back to her throne.
When she sat down a handkerchief, or 'hoofkerchief' as I believed it was called here, appeared out of thin air in her magic and wiped both her teary eyes and then disappeared. She then breathed in through her nostrils as she now had my undivided attention.
"Something really awful is happening in Equestria" I gulped as she said this, as more bad news of the day has arrived, 'So much for catching a break.' "A crisis from somewhere has caused unexpected activity throughout the world. From what I've been told random objects appear out of nowhere around the world. Objects not of our world."
'Is they're ever gonna be a limit to how much bad news I'll get, because I don't know how much more I can take.' "What kind of objects are we talking about here? Aliens dumping garbage from outer space?"
"Not exactly." She said and this was where I knew things were about to get even crazy for what she said next. "A rift in an alternate universe is damaging ours. A world much like yours. A world where powerful humans with amazing abilities exist. One of the greatest of heroes that exists is a young man named Peter Parker."
"The Spider-man?" I blurted out in surprise, but it did not seem surprising to her, I knew this wasn't a coincidence, Which did raise a question I needed answered. "When the objects appeared did they have glitching patterns when they showed up?" I really hoped and prayed hard that it wasn't true, but no one is that lucky, especially me, even though I'm the luckiest man coming to Equestria here.
"Glitching patterns?"
"Like what you would see on a buggy videogame or computer. Probably making a bunch of weird noises in the process." I told her, I did know videogames existed here but I don't know if she knows anything about that stuff, Luna might be more helpful in that regard.
"Y-Yes they appear for only a second and sometimes even appear again on the objects, but other than strange objects I fear things are about to get worse."
"Worse!? The world as you said is being destroyed here. How can it get worse?" If this was anything like the Marvel comics and the movies I had a hunch at what was happening and it was a very big problem for everyone.
"While I was studying one of the objects I got sent to an alternate pocket dimension. Where I met a powerful human who has the power of psychic, and called herse-."
"Let me guess, Madam Webb?"I interrupted and she nodded at me not appreciating my second interruption. "And I guess she told you why I now look like a vampire?" I gestured to myself again as I said this, already getting a headache.
"She said that you now have the powers similar to that of Spider-man and with these powers you can stop what is about to happen." she stood up again and I felt a hoof on my shoulder and like I did to her sister I shrugged it off.
"Woah woah woah, wait a minute here." I raised both my hands in front of me backing away "You want me to be a superhero?" she nodded, somewhat confused about my sudden denial here "Yeah, that's not happening."
"And why not?" worry dotted her face as she spoke.
"Because I can't." I know that wasn't a good explanation but what can you do. I know most people who were fans of superheroes wanted the same powers as Spider-man, I myself even wanted that too. Until I found out the major downside to it.
"You....can't?" I looked at her again, I don't think she was expecting me to say no with how caught off guard she looked. She then walked up to me but not raising her hoof. She seems to be reading my actions and was indeed spot on about what she said next "Jason, listen I understand this is a lot for you to take in, but you might be the only chance we have right now."
"No, you don't understand!" I was on the edge of shouting this time as I glared helplessly at her. I was at my limit with all this bullshit now and just wished I was in Ponyville with my idolized heroes and let them take care of it "I can't be a superhero,." I explained, still not a good one but I continued. "There's always a major downside to that and I sure as hell am not going through that."
"What do you mean?"
"Your student knows." I blurted out, too late to stop the train wreck of knowing so much about them and my rising stress. "How many enemies do she and her friends make on a daily basis? How many villains of your country threatened you? And how many more do you think they will make in the future Celestia?" Venting my frustration at her as I looked at her. At this point I grew careless about my actions and I knew it too. Was it going to bite me, well in a way it already has.
"How do you know about Twilight?" she said. I could lie to her and tell her I heard about them from Canterlot High on their human world, but of course that isn't where I was from and even if I lied to her and that she is seen as a character in fiction back home it might cause even bigger issues.
"Let's just say I know more than you'd wish you'd know and leave it at that. Trust me." I said hoping that satisfied her for now. Seems like it did but I knew I wasn't out of the woods yet.
"I see. Then tell me this, are you really going to stay here and watch us all perish because your too afraid to not stand up for those that need it?" I was about to say something until she raised her hoof to my mouth and looked me in the eye.
"I'm not finished. There is far too much at stake for the quiet life you want Jason. If you really want to live a life of happiness here, you must fight for it, you must." as she looked down again with tears in her eyes as she lowered her hoof, I still didn't speak with emotional she was still making me uncorftable. "I know I'm asking a lot from you but I'm all out of options. Cassandra told me there are far worse villains in the Earth she's from that I fear not even the Elements can stop them. She told me that you are our best hope now. And I really need to believe that too Jason." I assume she meant Madam Webb as that was a human name.
"But...." this was all too much to take in. 'Why me, why did I have to get a radioactive spider bite? Why did I have to end up like this to begin with?' I was on the verge of shedding tears myself as I tried to respond. "I-I-I can't, I'm sorry, I really can't Celestia." I was beyond terrified about this whole thing now, I'm definitely being selfish, I can tell quite well here or maybe it was my returning teenage hormones coming back with a vengeance as I had a few serious mood swings when I turned thirteen. Boy was that a fun way to be a teenager.
Tears ran down my cheeks as I turned away from the Celestia, I can't bear seeing her face anymore as I ran back to the torn open throne doors.
"Jason....JASON WAIT." I wasn't looking back and the princess didn't move to stop me as I left the throne room.
I cried. I cried harder and harder than ever. Not since my little sister die from cancer did I cry so hard.
'No, nonono I can't' I argued with myself constantly trying to think clearly through all that's going on 'I could go back, maybe figure things out and-NO NO YOU CAN'T.' 'my thoughts at constant war were not helping my emotional state. All I wanted was to have a better life in Equestria. Was that too much to ask? How can I live a peaceful life as a superhero? How can anyone!?' There was enough pain and suffering in my life. It's one of the reasons I hate Spider-man.
Rage filled me as I finally snapped, slamming my fists in the floor, causing a tremor around me and leaving a small dent on the road.'A road?' it took me a minute acknowledging where I was. I was outside on the castle without even realizing it. Not only that, buildings surrounded me, meaning I wasn't just outside the castle 'Canterlot? I didn't even think I would travel all the way in the middle of the city.'
I then saw that ponies were staring at from all sides and some didn't look happy to see me. They all had disgusted and even angry looks directed at me and judging from the fancy clothes they all had there was no doubt in my mind about who they are 'Noble ponies? of course.' the rich snobs of the capital of Equestria always gave outsiders a hard time, no matter the species, even some fellow ponies never fell under their ways. Deciding that sticking around wasn't a good idea, I turned to where I could find a place to relax, if there ever is one to begin with. I should have asked Celestia for clothes before I ran offed again too while I was at it.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING, WALKING AROUND OUR STREET, ANIMAL?" a loud snobby voice that made me freeze in annoyance behind me. I turned to address the pony as a stallion unicorn wearing a monocle with a brown suit and a white mane that looked like it had too much hair gel put in it. He glared at me as other pony nobles came from all around creating a small crowd circling me.
"Gee I don't know, just walking on it. Plus I don't see your name on it dipshit" this caused the spoiled pony's face to scrunch
"WHAT!? how dare you speak to me like that, animal"
"FUCK YOU TOO ASSHOLE!!" I shouted quite loudly at him. if this guy kept calling me animal, I might just become one if he doesn't stop. The other nobles around me were not happy about me losing my temper like this. Some even backed off a little bit but kept up their appearance of superiority against me.
"THAT'S IT ANIMAL, TIME TO PUT YOU DOWN LIKE O-*CRACK*" Unfortunately for him, he never got the chance to finish his sentence.
Faster than anyone can blink I rushed up to the pony, slapping him hard in the face and it sent him flying far. Other nobles jumped out of way as he flew down the sidewalk and rolled but didn't get up. Thankfully I heard him groaning telling me he wasn't dead.
"EVERYPONY RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!!" I heard a mare scream in terror as the crowd screamed and as quickly as it showed up it was gone.
'God dammit' I now had to get out here before things got really bad for me. I ran down the passage between two buildings, jumping up to the fire escape and ran up the stairs, leaping down on a dumpster to get over a very tall fence.'Solar guards again? Please give me a break today.'
I ran down to another opening between buildings only to run into a dead end. 'I better go back the way I came' I turned around but I stopped when I heard a voice.
"Hey, I think it went down this way?" then I heard shuffling booted hooves of guards I know are far too many to handle from what I heard coming towards me.
"Shit" I was trapped, I heard what sounded like twenty or more pony armored guards heading towards me and I knew there was no way out. It's not like I could....
'Wait a minute?' I looked down at my hands and at the wall and I knew what to do Well now is a good time as any. I put both my finger tips on the wall and climbed. Or I thought I would as I slid off the wall.
"Come on stick." I said as I tried again only to have the same result as I slid off the wall again and again. The guards were moving closer and closer to my position as I tried a fourth time. "Stick now." I jumped and waited for the inevitable slide. Except it didn't happen.
I looked up as I saw my fingers sticking to the wall. "YES!" I whispered shouted as I then tried taking my left hand off but couldn't because it was still sticking. "No." I got to stick, now I can't unstick "Come on come on COME ON." The finger tips wouldn't budge no matter how hard I pulled and the guards sounded right below me but not quite where I was yet. But they were very close now and I didn't have time to waste.
"Come on dammit." when I stopped struggling for a moment, that's when my new sticky fingers both got unstuck as I fell down on the floor, again.
"Hey, over here!" a shouting voice called out hearing m tumble. The guards definitely knew where I was now. I turned back up to the wall and crouched to down as low as I could. If I can't climb it, jumping might be my best option. With a flicking quick rise of my super strong legs I jumped high, almost reaching the roof of the building. Quickly putting my hands to wall I stuck to it again as I was at the edge of the roof now. I just had to reach it out with a hand to grab on, if I managed to unstick it again that is.
"Oh "I tried unsticking with only one hand this time, keeping the other one sticking as I pulled on my left fingers. It did take a minute but they managed to come off slowly. Finally my hand was free and I grabbed the ledge as my other hand started to unstick as well, pulling myself up quickly and onto the roof, landing on my back with a huff.
FREEZE DON'T MO- huh? I froze as a shout from down the bottom shouted to where I was.
"Well it's not down here either. Come on lets get back to where it was last seen. Hopefully that stallion noble has regained consciousness." I released a breath I was holding in relief as I heard them leave and got up as soon as they were far enough away.
'Cutting it way too close again Jason. Now how I get down from here?' I thought as I paced for a moment. Then I saw another roof not too far on the opposite building I was on. Hmmm. that's when I had an idea. I walked backwards to the opposite direction until I was at the edge, then I crouched into a running position. I was scared of course but I was even more scared of hurting ponies which turned out to be good motivation in this situation. I sprinted quickly to the other side and with a running leap I jumped to the other roof, landing with a forward roll.
I looked back with a smile at my accomplishment 'Well, I guess this isn't so bad' I then went to the next building with another leap and another and another, until I was back on the ground but still on the move.
*VVVVVVVRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIII*
My spider-sense went off again as I felt a large shake on the ground afterwards. Then something else happened. My vision seemed to pop out of my eyes and out to the world as it went forward with incredible speed. It then stopped as soon as it reached it's destination. A building with the roof blown open from the inside, along with voices screaming for help. The building was on the verge of total collapse with a large crown of ponies in it's trajectory.
My vision then switch to royal guards fighting creatures of different creatures All of them wearing some kind of matching leather armor.
As my vision turned back to it's old self I stared at where the madness was happening. The authorities have their hands full from the looks of it, they'll never make it.
"HEEELP"
"SCOOTALOO!? SCOOTALOO WHERE ARE YOU!?"
"*COUGH* *COUGH* HELP, I CAN'T BREATHE"
'Oh no' Three voices belonging to little fillies that I knew quite well were shouting from all the other voices inside the burning building. And they didn't have much time.
I sprinted to the burning building as fast as I can, not caring for a second about what might happen to me as I rushed to help.
Chapter 3: There goes my hero
'Holy shit.' I looked at the burning hotel in horror over the shock of how it looked just like it did earlier when I was having that vision. 'It really is happening!' my thoughts were swarming with questions about this. I hoped and prayed it wasn't true when I ran here, but it was.
And the Cutie Mark Crusaders were in the middle of it.

...Ugh, nevermind.
Not wasting anytime or thinking about my actions, I jumped through a window, into the burning building. Using my new senses to find out where the ponies were easy as I could sense the ones still inside. Getting to them was the hard part. I heard crying in the room I jumped in and ran towards it and saw a little filly with a light-yellow colored coat and red mane with a pink bow in it being crushed by a wooden board from the roof. I grabbed it with both hands and lifted it off of her, throwing it away from the pony.
"Who are you?" the little filly asked in surprise over my impressive strength.
"Just a guy saving you Appebl-er kid" I looked back at her, then lifted her up in my arms and carried her back out the open window I came in.
Moving out into the grass I gently put her down and ran back inside. Others ponies weren't too far thankfully as I sensed them in a closet. I opened the door and ran in grabbing the injured pony I saw along with two other running out behind me. I shouted at them but they didn't come back as I heard a window breaking, at least they got out.
I dropped the other pony outside next to Applebloom and went right back in with three others. A filly and two colts wrapped in my arms all unconscious but still breathing.
Running up the stairs as I heard the shouting of Sweetie Belle screaming for Scootaloo as I broke open a set of double doors leading to a burning library.
The pure white filly with a curly light purple mane stood in the middle of collapsed bookcases, trapping her in the middle. I jumped in the middle and grabbed her. At first she screamed and frantically hit my arms as I covered her head as the smoke grew stronger all around, making it hard to see. I saw a big window and ran to it, looking out. Shattering the glass with a jumping kick and back outside, landing with the filly safe.
I heard the shouts of ponies as I went to the kitchen, looking the worst from the giant hole in what's left of the floor. I jumped over to where they were and told them I knew a way out but were too scared to move. Not asking for permission as I ran to the other side of the room and smashed the wall to create a new hole, telling them to move it and they did.
With two of the crusaders and the filly and colts along with the ponies I just got out, that made twelve ponies rescued. But there were at least fifteen more from what I can hear.
A big stallion noble looked at me with complete terror and then fainted as I picked him up with a mare I assume to be his wife demanding I let them go or they'll order my execution. I ignored her of course and dropped them in front of the building safely.
I heard a bunch of sirens as I ran out again with my makeshift kilt on fire, holding an unconscious stallion with one of his bones sticking out of his back leg, over my shoulder. I quickly moved to the medic ponies "Here, this guys pretty messed up." I told them after putting him on a gurney quickly patting the flames off my kilt.
A mare who was thrown against a wall with the left side of her whole body totally scorched was barely alive when I found her in the partially destroyed bathroom with a stallion who had a pieces of wood impaled through his forehooves and side was bleeding badly in the dining area.
I picked them both up as I sprinted through another wall, already on the verge of collapsing after the dining entrance collapsed behind me. The stallion passed out from blood loss shortly after I took him to one of the medical gurney's. The mare was still in tears of pain but was relieved to be alive from the look she gave me.
'Seventeen ponies rescued, twelve to go.' The basement thankfully wasn't affected by the fire as I found what looked like a family of five earth ponies huddled in the corner. The mother held her three children in her grasp as she looked up at me in terror with her husband standing defensively between us.
"Who or what are you!?"
"The guy saving your skins. Now come on the buildings about to collapse."
He of course didn't trust me but his wife seemed to be keen on listening as she convinced him back off as I then led them all out.
'Only seven left.' *VVVVRRRRIIII* spider-sense went off as I heard a collapsing structure in the front entrance finally cave in. The window and door I came into were now completely blocked off and I heard more screams as I leaped through another window, using my midair momentum catching a unicorn mare before she was impaled by a wooden spike on the ground.
I then threw her out the window as the lobby's roof gave out and I caught it with my hands. I lowered my right arm into a fist while my other held the roof as I punched threw the wood and freed myself.
Six ponies were still stuck in here and I need to get them out as another one of those out of body visions flashed through my sight again, telling me the hotel was about to collapse any second now.
'Move it Jason, move it now!' I found the other ponies on the top floor of what was left of the roof of the hotel structure. Unfortunately, casualties were everywhere as bodies were seen all over. I focused on the task at hand as I saw three pony pegasus mares trying to get a fourth one out of the trapped floor underneath.
I lifted it up quickly telling them to get out now and they did without a second to waste as more of the roof collapsed behind us.
"AAAAAAHHHHHH" I then heard a scream from the roof that was immediately silenced afterwards. Not wasting anytime, I ran up, jumping and vaulting as I ran to the screaming.
Then another vision passed by, and I felt time slow down to a crawl, showing a Minotaur with large battle scars covering his whole body with a prosthetic left claw like hand and four other goons with him. One was a Zebra male who had a whip, another was a Diamond dog with a missing right arm, holding a club in his hand. The last goon was another pony mare I recognized right away was Lightening Dust, the rival of Rainbow Dash, holding a dagger by the handle between her teeth. All four of this little band looked at two ponies huddled in a corner.
Rarity, Sweetie Belles older sister had an injured left leg, her horn was also cracked as she tried casting a spell with it but nothing happened as it fizzled out. Scootaloo was in her grasp as they both clenched their eyes tight awaiting the inevitable with the bad guy's weapons aimed to kill.
I felt my rage over all of this, the death, the destruction.
The suffering of the innocent.
Moving faster than I ever did as the four goons slowly, very slowly in motion, were on the verge of killing one if the heroes of Equestria and an innocent child. I on the other hand was practically a blur as everything around me almost froze in place as I kept running. My enhanced muscles not even straining as I moved without a second to lose.
I reached the room just above them and slammed through the roof right in front of the two ponies just seconds before the thug's weapons struck. The aftershock knocked the four thugs on their hindquarters as I went right for the leader.
Not giving any of them time to react as I punched, kicked and threw the minotaur around like a ragdoll all over the place until I was sure he was out. Not too hard as I didn't want to kill any of them just yet as I then went for the Zebra next, using both my legs wrapped around his body as I slammed him down with a backflip on the floor.
Lightning Dust despite her shock over my sudden appearance, managed to jump away from my uppercut I was delivering, but my foot slamming into her head after she threw her knife at me. I managed grab her by her tail, which threw her off guard as she was sent flying towards the diamond dog.
I stared at all directions as the knocked-out goons were taken down swiftly *VVVVRRRRIIII* until my spider sense went off again as I dodged the fist aimed right at my head. The battle-scarred Minotaur managed to get back up from the beatdown I gave him and charged back in action.
Moving faster than I anticipated for such a big guy as he grabbed my head covering my face, slamming into the floor, causing the rest to collapse all around us.
*Song should end right here*
All the ponies outside watched in horror as the building collapsed with a loud tumble. The royal guard pushed them all back as a giant cloud of smoke rose up, covering the entire structure. Until a noise was heard as a large shadow from the dust rose and walked out. The Minotaur ran with me still in his grasp as I kicked and punched his arm, but his grip still remained strong on my head as I was tossed out in the street.
I landed on my feet skidding a little, as the Minotaur let out a roar, charging at me with horns lowered at my torso. I slid between his legs, jumped behind and kicked his back. He flipped around with his clawed hand intending to slice my head off. I grabbed it with both hands and jammed it in the stony road as it was my turn to go on the offensive, aiming at is face with rapid punches in his face still holding back but not as much as before. Though it seemed to do little to him and piss him off.
With a loud yell and firm tug, his clawed hand was free, making me jump back as he moved like a rampaging bull at me, both his arms swinging like crazy at me. I moved back as he kept running to me, his fist trying to land a punch, while his claws tried slicing me to ribbons. I did land a few hits here and there but the guy moved too fast to land any decent damage on him.
'I need to slow this guy down somehow.' I kept dodging as he kept moving towards me, attacking at the same time with no sign of slowing down. Even with my new super strength I knew I couldn't dodge this guy forever. I decided to punch harder and faster than before with a right jab to his face. This managed to back him up a few steps as he then shook his head and glared back at me.
He let out a roar as he jumped forward, forcing me to dodge to the side. I then kicked his side where his ribs were, knocking the wind out of him temporarily. He recovered quickly as he then slammed his hoofed leg in the ground, causing a slight tremor that I felt, but managed to keep my balance.
'Jeez, this guy doesn't mess around.' I stood back as he charged again 'Too bad he's all offensive with me though.' I jumped over his head at the last second, catching him off guard briefly with a kick to the back of his head as an added bonus. I then ducked under his legs again, punching his nuts in the process, causing a shout of pain as he knelt down.
I then grabbed both his horns as he was recovering, slamming my knee as hard as I could in his nose. Blood gushed out as he screamed in pain, holding his nose in both his hands.
As he uncovered his face, his eyes became bloodshot. 'Uh oh.' If this guy was mad before, this was going to be a very painful experience now for me, I can tell.
He then grabbed the stone road as it started to break under his grip. A huge chunk of stone was lifted out as he then threw at me. I managed to get out of way until I looked back as everything slowed down again as I looked back at the crowd of ponies.
They all ran as it headed to them fast and hard but will never make it clear in time.
'SHIT' I was still in mid air and if I wasn't. it was approaching too fast for me to catch on foot. Another vision passed though my eyesight again as I saw what to do.
Reaching both my hands out, I push my middle and ring fingers into my palm as I aimed at the boulder.
*THWIP*
A string of white from my wrists comes out, attaching itself to the boulder stopping its trajectory as I then threw it back with a forward midair roll to the Minotaur.
*CRACK*
It shattered on impact against his head, throwing him off his feet.
I looked at both my wrists in surprise 'I have organic web shooters?' I thought grossed out 'Nasty, hope I don't have the ability to lay eggs next.' From what I heard about spider eggs on the Discovery channel, that number goes up in the millions.
*VVVVRRRRIIII* "WOAH!!!" the clawed prosthetic hand was thrown at me as I ducked. One of the blades only an inch from my left eye and even closer but not quite touching my face. I noticed that it was also attached to a chain at its end from the stump of the Minotaur's arm as I looked back at the rampaging beast.
Moving back to its owner as quickly as it came as he moved to me again. Only this time he kept his distance as he readied another throw from his claw. I readied myself as I shot a web at his face, only to raise his other arm to block it. The webbing attached to his arm in a splat as he was distracted by my sudden new ability.
I shot another web and another and another all splattering his arm, until it looked like it was in a cast stuck on his chest. I then used a trick I saw Spider-man use on an old ps1 game by shooting both webs out of my wrists at the same time with a white ball of webbing heading impacts his face with a hard splat covering his whole head.
I took this opportunity to rush him as he tried pulling the web off his face. Punching and kicking in different parts of his body fast and hard, until he fell to the ground again.
"rrrrRRRAGGGH" *RRIIIPPP* only to get right back up again, tearing the webbing off in the process 'Why won't this guy stay down already!?'
It looked like he was about to charge me again for a moment until I saw him turn his head slightly, looking behind me.'That's it, no more holding back' I thought as I readied for another charge from him. Holding back on this guy was now out of the question if he went for them.
And he did.
I managed to jump on his back as he ran at them. Aiming for the back of his shoulders I jabbed my claws in the fur covered skin as he screamed in pain. He tried reaching out to grab me but with my claws dug into his shoulder blades it became hard for him to reach me.
I'm honestly thankful that his attention was directed back at me now, though I might end up regretting it. Then he decided to get me off in way I knew was going to leave me sore for a long time. He jumped in the air as he then slammed his back into the ground with me still attached. Even with my spider-sense telling me what he was doing, my claws were still deep in his flesh, making it impossible for me to get off in time.
I felt the wind knocked out of me with pain from my whole body as I was crushed underneath this behemoth. My claws were still buried into his shoulder blades as I struggled for air as I tried to get him off but he pressed further in to the ground.
I screamed in pain completely subdued as the monster crushed me under him. I pushed with both my arms and legs as best I could but he wouldn't budge. I even tried digging my claws in more until it felt like it was in his shoulder blades now but that just made him press down harder.
I was on the verge of blacking out now as I felt myself cease to move, I had to think of a way out now or it was over for me. I pushed with all my strength one final time but still he pressed down harder as I felt my bones start cracking with me screaming and I knew it was over. With a final rush of adrenaline, I tried digging my claws, hopefully digging into his bones some more would at least distract him enough, even if it's pointless.
Then I used all the energy I had left on him as I saw a blue flash from on top of me as I then felt relief from being crushed. I sucked air back into my lungs quickly as I got out of the ditch I was in. Quickly getting up as I coughed up some blood as I looked around for the Minotaur but he disappeared.
That's when I heard a soft shouting get louder and louder as I looked up.
*VVVVRRRRIIII* "WOAH!!!"
I jumped out of the way as the minotaur landed with a loud thud where I was a second ago, making an even bigger ditch in the road with a loud crack in the stone. 'Well, that had to hurt.' A slight tingle I felt and small cracking sound made me look at my hands in surprise once again over my new powers.
Electrical lines were dancing around my hands and not hurting me at all.
'What? I got electrical powers now?' Okay I can see why I had the ability to stick to walls and a stronger body, but this was not one power I was expecting in the least. 'This is absolute insanity, I mean come on how can a spider shoot lightning bolts anyways? Unless of course it's magic which makes sense.' That was a question I had to ask a certain old lady about too, but first things first.
I looked back to where Rarity and Scootaloo along with the other two Crusaders were and saw that Rarity was lying on the ground. I rushed to her with Sweetie Belle trying to shake her awake with tears in her eyes. She looked at me as I kneeled next to them both.
"S-she's not breathing." she said entirely helpless. I moved the unicorn on her back and put my ear on her chest.
Just like the filly said, no heartbeat. Now I had to move.
"Stand back girls." They moved out of the way as I then opened Rarity's mouth and placed mine on hers, breathing in gulps of air and sending it to her lungs. Then getting up, putting both my hands on her chest as I gently pushed repeatedly. I have no training in CPR but I did have a basic understanding of how it works in case it was needed. I compressed her chest as steadily as I could, trying to get her blood flowing again 'One hundred to one hundred compression per minute, just like you remember Jason.' While this wasn't human biology I was working on, it was all I got right now.
Rarity was still not breathing so I did repeated the process again. Still she was unresponsive 'No nononono, come on. come on, don't give up on me.' I was on the verge of tears myself as I tried a third, hoping third times a charm this time but still the pony didn't budge. "Come on, come on, COME ON!" I was on the verge of tears myself as I tried again. Still no reponse but I kept trying. "Come on Rarity. You can make it." The fifth time I tried with the same exact results collapsing my resolve to save her.
It was no use, she was gone. The fillies behind me held each other and cried as I kept trying.
"No no no." as I was pressing in her chest again, another spark from my fingers caused a sudden convulsion in her from electrical shock. Then I knew what to do.
With both my hands on her chest again I concentrated. 'Please let this work.' I felt the electricity flow through my fingers as it passed through the mares body again. I tried again and felt her rise but still no response. Finally I tried a third time, hoping and praying it was enough.
Still the mare was not even moving. It was too late she was gone.
No, DAMMIT NO! I looked back at the fillies with tears in their eyes as I gave them all a look they knew was hopelessness. It broke the dam for all of us as Sweetie ran back up and hugged her dead sister in her hooves.
"*GASP* *COUGH* *COUGH*" Rarity finally jolted up with eyes wide open, gasping for air, making us all jump back in surprise.
She leaned forward as if about to hurl and looked at her sister. Sweetie stared wide eyed at her sister in shock unsure if what she was seeing was real or not.
"*COUGH, COUGH*." she looked at sweetie as she grabbed her in her forehooves and hugged her. "Oh my darling little sister, your okay." Rarity's eyes clenched with tears as she hugged her sister tightly. Sweetie just stood stock still, unable to react.
"S-sis?" The filly was lost as the mare let her go and looked with her hooves still on the filly's shoulders. She looked at her sister and smiled.
"Yes Sweetie." she looked at her little sister, confused as to why she was staring at her like she's seen a ghost. "Is everything okay darling?" The question broke the little filly out of her stupor.
"SIS!!!" Sweetie shrieked and hugged her back tightly, bawling her eyes on her chest, catching Rarity off guard. She hugged her gently as the other fillies came up with complete shock on their features. With that, they hugged the mare too knowing she was okay.
"Okay, can somepony tell me what happened here?" Rarity asked the fillies desperately hugging her. Trying to piece together what happened.
"Rarity." Sweetie said with tears still in her eyes. "You died." This caused disbelief and shock to appear on her face entirely.
"What, what do you mean I died?" not quite believing what she was hearing, thinking that she was pulling some sort of cruel joke on her as she glared at sister "That's not funny girls."
"No Rarity, you, you were really gone." Sweetie said getting her attention. "I checked your pulse, you weren't breathing."
Realization came to her as she then lifted a hoof to her cracked horn. It all came back to her as the hotel they were staying in came to her line of sight. She looked at the girls again, seeing if there was any hint of deceit at all. Only relief on the fillies was seen.
"But...then....then how am I....?" she stood up finally on shaky hooves, still processing what has happened as she looked at the area they were in. "I...I remember fighting those four brutes, but then my horn got damaged in the fight by that minotaur's bladed claws and then, then everything just....went black." she spoke more to herself than the fillies as she stared at the collapsed building.
"You got saved by this hairless creature." Applebloom said behind her. The mare then turned back to the filly.
"Hairless creature? What hairless creature?"
"This creature walking on two legs brought you back." Scootaloo said as she approached her "He zapped you and you came back."
"Zap me? Like with lightning?" fear dotted Rarity as she said this. "Did he use some sort of medical device?"
"No it was his claws that did it." Sweetie spoke while shaking her head at her. "They were glowing and he just zapped you until you came back to life."
"I see. Well it seems I owe him my life. So where is this....strange creature at." looking around.
He's over....huh?" She turned to where I was, only to see an empty street.
While the fillies explained the situation to Rarity I was already hiding in the shadows, away and out of sight. But now that they noticed, I thought it best to not stick around anymore.
I even checked the minotaur to see if he was still down. Thankfully yes and he has some new singeing scars on his shoulders to show for it.
Unaware of what was going on, a cloaked figure witnessed the whole thing.
"Hmmm, just what in Equestria are you." the figure spoke in a male voice as I fled from the scene
Though I had a feeling something very bad was about to happen.

"Better call some 'professionals' on this one." he then grabbed a crystal out of his cloak "Hey, it's me, I got something you'll need to see."
