Since ascending to the throne, Princess Twilight Sparkle has reached out to all the allied races and kingdoms from all over the world. And helping her with these visits, her surrogate brother, Spike the dragon, has served as Friendship Ambassador. On one such mission, she has Spike venture to the Kirin Forest to speak with their leader, Rain Shine. She had heard of dragons, and wanted to meet them, but Dragon Lord Ember was busy and so Twilight has Spike handle the kirins' first meeting with a dragon.
