Thousands of years after a cataclysm nearly ended all life, a new Empire, ruled by the last angel, spreads it's influence over the still recovering world. In this world is Twilight Sparkle, a junior Wizard, doing her best to live the life of a good citizen. But circumstances force Twilight to not only protect her country from not only dark forces that assail it from without, but insidious forces that threaten to crumble it from within, to prepare it for the day that cataclysm may visit their world once more.
