Fluttershy's final moments (sad)View Online30 Minute wondersFluttershy's final moments (sad)Fluttershy’s final moments. 30 Minute Wonder. By LOLSTERNATER (Tim) She should have dodged that swing from that bear, she should have moved, should of not had her left wing and shoulder ripped to shreds. But here she was, Fluttershy the caretaker of the wild, bleeding to her slow death from a bear. She couldn’t believe it herself, why would a bear do this? Was the world coming to this, where ponies had distanced themselves from nature so much that nature now feared them? Fluttershy had tried to calm it, to help it, but all she got was a blank look and then anger. She was lying under her favourite tree, next to the creek by her house, looking back on all the animals she had helped or saved. She had taken down a dragon and yet she felt like she had done nothing. Fluttershy cried softly, thinking about all her friends and what they would do when they found her, in bloody tatters. They would hunt down the bear, kill it and skin it. Those thoughts only made her cry more. I’ve always helped them, why would they do this? What would make them turn on me? All my bunnies and birds. This was also true. When she returned broken and bleeding her so-called animal friends did nothing but swoop angrily at her, as if blaming her for the attack. (10 minute mark) She sat under that tree alone, no angle, or friends, or animals she had helped seemed to care or know that she was in pain. Who will feed them when I’m gone? Who will teach the birds to sing? All these things need to be done, and I won’t be around to do it. All these thoughts and worries went through her head as death came ever closer. The memories she had always loved and cherished were the last things to go into her thoughts. Those days at flight camp with Rainbow Dash. Finding the ground and all the sweet animals. Leaving flight camp with Dash, who gave her savings to Fluttershy so she could buy the cottage and live with the animals. Those years of getting them to trust her. (20 minute mark) The day she had meet Twilight who then brought all six of the elements together and bring new friendships with them. The new things she learnt, the hardships, the fun times, always being the weak one yet being treated like an equal. The day where she saved her friends from a dragon, the day she saved her friends from a manticore, all those adventures, and none of them were there to save her when she needed them. She felt anger and hate for the first time, blaming her friends for not being there when she needed them like she had always been there. They were just like her animals, always there until she was worthless. She was fading, both in the soul and in body, her element was failing. She began to scream, swinging her hooves everything trying to hit something, to hurt it. That only made the bleeding worse. The world started turning black, and she sank into the emptiness that was now her mind, lost in all the things that made her life bad. She died with those thoughts, only remembering the bad times because then death comes and the world goes numb, those are the only things that can help you feel again. Fluttershy was found about 30 minutes later. Twilight could hardly believe what she saw. Not just the fact that Fluttershy was dead with a torn up corpse, but her dead expression was that of life and laughter. Fluttershy had found the one thing that could make her smile as she had slipped, not friends or memories, but through death she saw this story, and how bloody shit it is. THE END (I have no imagination, sue me)
Dreams from afar (Random/Human)View Online30 Minute wondersDreams from afar (Random/Human)Well I'm in a pickle. Ever since becoming a brony I have been having dreams about the beautiful land of Equestria. But lately they have been getting... more intense. I see my pony counter-part walking and talking with the others like he really existed. They have been happening in the day as well. I would be walking around when all of a sudden I found myself looking through the eyes of that pony again. When I went back to my human self I would find that I had walking in whatever direction I was headed and hadn't stopped. The dreams are of just everyday things. Going to work at Sugar Cube corner, saying hi to Pinkie Pie on the way in. Going home, stopping in on the library on the way to chat with Twilight Sparkle about books I have been reading and what is new. Getting home and writing stories about a made up world full of creatures called humans. Letting my mind drift to this land as if hoping that I could one day go there. It was moments like this where I suddenly took control of the pony. I could walk around on all fours like I had been doing it for years. I would try to think how this had happened when I could feel my control weakening, before waking up. I've been to many therapists but none can help me. They just point to the next therapist as if they couldn't be bothered to deal with me themselves. Eventually, I came to one therapist who would actually help me. (10 minute mark) "Hello mister Stanley. Please take a seat." It was a fairly average office, with a simple desk, a few chairs, and some pot plants to add colour. "Now, I am to believe you are having trouble with over powering dreams, yes?" His voice was dark and distant. He was an old guy, about 70 I would say. "Yes, that's right. The dreams just come and go, sometimes I take control of the 'other end' as you might say and sometimes I'm just sitting there watching. When I come back to my senses I find myself walking. Just walking." He pondered what I said for a while. "Hmm. What is this other world like?" It seemed strange that he would say "other world" instead of dream, but I let it go. "Ahh, well. It's kinda... umm.... well everyone is a pony for a start. And the town where I keep ending up in is called "Ponyville". There are pegasi and unicorns and normal pony's that have amazing strength called "Earth ponies". In the dreams I'm a pegasus, which is kinda cool, but I can only control the body when the pony version of me starts dreaming of something else, like being sucked into a dream like me." I looked up at the old man. He seemed to have a twinkle in his eyes. "Well, what is you name in this world?" The question caught me off guard. Why would that be important? (20 minute mark) "It's... it's Dark Moon. Why? Is it important?" He smiled like a kid looking for a lost puppy. He stood up, something strange filling the air. "Yes. It is important Dark Moon. Because now I can right my wrong and bring you home." And with that his hands started glowing. My chair started to rise. I couldn't move no matter what I did, fear taking a grip. He lifted a hoof, wait a HOOF? Anyway, he lifted a hoof and put it against my forehead. There was a bright flash and I slipped into unconsciousness. I woke sometime later, to the sound of muffled voices and beeping. And I remembered everything. I looked at my hands. There were once again hooves. I was home. (I really liked this idea. If you readers want me to I might write this into an actual story)
Spike's Phoenix (Slice of Life/Random)View Online30 Minute wondersSpike's Phoenix (Slice of Life/Random)(This is a story in memorial of Waxeye, the little bloke I saved from death. Check my blog for more info. Also I'm doing this because NO ONE has done a fic on spikes Phoenix from the episode where he tries to find other dragons) "So, what so Phoenix's eat anyway?" Spike asked keeping an eye on Pewee. (I'm pretty sure that's it's name) The little bird sat there looking up at spike calling for his attention. Twilight was skipping through books about Equestrian birds. "Umm, there doesn't seem to be any mention on eating habits. But the Princess has a Phoenix! Surely somebody has done research on it." Twi threw a book against the wall in frustration, which scared Pewee and caused him to screech louder. "Careful Twilight! You're scaring Pewee! Just send a letter to the princess or something. Geez." Spike picked up the screeching Phoenix and tried to calm it down, cradling it like a new born foal. Twilights ears drooped. "Sorry Spike. But I'm sure we shouldn't bother the princess about something as little as this. Somepony has to have had a Phoenix at some point!" She went back to throwing books all over the place. Spike only sighed. "Maybe she would enjoy some gems?" He was only reminded of his own hunger he had been pushing away to focus on the new born. Twilight looked up from her books and gave that a thought. "Well, they do come from the same area as dragons... I guess it wouldn't hurt to try." With her horn glowing a basket full of different coloured gems came floating from their bedroom. Spike walked over and picked up a fat ruby sitting on the top. (10 minute mark) Pewee stopped screeching instantly after seeing the bright gem. Spike sat Pewee down on the table and crushed the ruby with a gem crusher he got for his birthday. Spike brushed the sparkly dust into his claw and held some in front of Pewee. Both Twilight and Spike sat in anticipation, waiting to the birds reaction. Pewee took one look at the dust, and dived in shoving as much as she could into her mouth. All three onlookers sighed with relief. Wait, three? "Aww, that's so cute! Where did you get a Phoenix, Spike?" Chirped Pinkie Pie. The sudden arrival of the mystic Pinkie scared the poor Phoenix and it sniffed some Ruby dust up it's nose. I began to make 'Ahh' motions before letting out a sneeze that came with a wall of flame. It spread across the library scorching many books and scrolls. "AHH! MY BOOKS! MY SCROLLS! MY POOR LIBRARY!" Yelled Twilight in shock of the sudden devastation. (20 minute mark) "Woah, she's got some flame." giggled Pinkie. Twilight was to busy gaping over her lost knowledge. She began to breath very deeply and powered up her horn, a very angry look on her face. Before Spike could stop her, she sent a powerful beam of magic right at the little Phoenix. "TWILIGHT! NO!" The beam hit Pewee right on the head and sent her flying across the library, and hit the wall with a thud. No one moved but just stared at the downed Phoenix. For a while nothing happened, but then Pewee started growing, gaining in height and weight until she had reached the height of a small pony. "Ow, that hurts." She spoke. The chins of all those in the room hit the floor as their mouths hanged open. "Why in Equestria would you do that? I have feeling too, you know." Still no movement was noted among Twilight, Spike, and Pinkie. The once small Pewee picked herself off the ground and looked back at those watching her. "How... This can't be possible..." Twilight only stammered before the great fully grown Phoenix before her. The Phoenix looked at Spike. "Oh, and Pewee? Is that the best you can come up with? You may call me Flame from now on." Flame gave a smile at the dragon. "Ok, dad?" (End. Well this got interesting. Consider this the origins of Flame. If you don't know who that is then read my current project: Lands of Time. Hope you enjoyed another brain burst)
