Equestria has been met with a terrifying cataclysm that had ended the world as we know it. Ponies, along other races, have survived the tragedy and rebuilt their societies from scratch. A world, without Celestia and Luna ruling over it, has given, previously named lesser gods, a chance to thrive. Although, Celestia has not gone down without a plan and so the world awaits birth of a new god that would bring back peace and balance just as two Princesses had done so back in the Old World, for this new world is filled in evil and savagery, full with challenges to overcome, both at divine and mortal level.

This is not a story I want to finish in few chapters, although there will be some points of climax of specific sub-stories. I will not put them into separate stories, as they will be too intertwined with each other. In short - it may be a long one. Even though main goal of this story is to have relations with gods, it will not be the only one, sometimes not even the main one for a little bit.

The world itself is inspired by medieval fantasy worlds and stories of various media, some to note that are being taken inspiration from are The Witcher 3, God of War (old ones), folklore from different cultures and probably many more. I was not inspired by G5's setting, as the idea itself (mainly of pony races living separately) came to me before G4 even ended.

Many things from MLP:FIM will be re-thought from scratch, like the magic system or certain cultures. Story will (hopefully) focus a lot on adventuring, medieval fighting (trying to adapt it realistically to pony standards), typical slice of life in those times and relationships between ponies and other races, their culture, religion and more. It will be brutal, gore-y and, hopefully, seem like a real world that could actually exist. I will not go over the board, but I will try to make this world seem real. Fallout games have slavery and dismemberment to a degree, so expect that, just with more consequences to it.

Narrating perspective will be mostly in first-person, but will sometimes switch to third-person. Story itself will not always have the main character in the centre of attention, sometimes other characters may take the spot either just like that (like in prologue), through some flashbacks or in some other ways.

This is a story set in a world without the main cast from the show, although some of them will appear throughout the story, either as flashbacks, recollections or even foes. Main 6 will not appear here in their fullest, this is a story about new ponies, i.e. OCs.

Update schedule may vary, as I have been "writing" those few chapters for two years, or maybe more. Summer break has inspired me to put more time into it and actually publish it, so at least for now I should be able to write more. I am not a professional writer and English is not my main language, so it will take time, sweat, tears and coffee.
