Moral of the Story: Don't Succumb to Peer Pressure
"Welcome to McDonald's. What can I get for yo-SWEET CELESTIA, YOU'RE PRINCESS TWILIGHT!" the McDonald's server exclaimed.
"Uh, yes. It's me, Princess Twilight. Could I have the new Grimace's Birthday meal." Twilight said, sheepishly.
"Umm, y-yes! W-Would you like the Big Mac or the hay nuggets?" the McDonald's server continued, "If it wouldn't be any trouble, could I get a photo, please?"
"Sure. Do you want me to take it or will yo-WHOA!" Twilight tried to say, before she was pulled in by the server and taking selfies with her.
"I can't wait to show this to my friend."
After waiting awhile, Twilight got her food and headed out of the restaurant. Admittedly, she wasn't a huge fan of McDonald's. The food wasn't exactly the best of compared to other fast food restaurants like Burger Princess. She was mostly just there for the Grimace's Birthday meal, more specifically the Grimace shake, a milkshake themed after one of McDonald's old mascots, the Grimace. Grimace had always been an odd character to Twilight. The character was named after the face you make when you're in pain and itself look like a giant, turd but with arms and legs. She wasn't even planning on getting the shake when it started to be sold until her friends convinced her to buy it because of its trend on the internet.
Twilight unlocked the door to her crystal castle, of course the door was made of crystal so she did cut her hooves a few times while trying to open the door. When she walked in, Spike was sleeping on the map, holding onto his Rarity doll. She still had no idea where he got it, how he did, and why Rarity wasn't putting a restraining order on him.
She headed into the kitchen opened up the bag, revealing her food. Twilight unpacked the Big Mac, a medium grass fries, and the Grimace shake, a purple concoction that was topped with whipped cream. For some strange reason, Twilight felt a chill run up her spine but she paid no attention to this. She unwrapped the straw and placed it into the plastic cup. She started to suck on the straw, the contents of the cup slowly rising towards her mouth before finally making contact with her tastebuds. The shake was...honestly pretty good. The rest of the food was the same but Twilight enjoyed the shake the most.
When she finally finished it, she suddenly felt something breathing on her neck. When she turned around, there was no one. Twilight shrugged it off and cleaned up her trash. Unbeknownst to her, she was being watched.
Twilight was suddenly woken up by a loud noise downstairs. She thought it was Spike so she ignored it. That was until the noise continued as if the pony or creature was nearby. Twilight walked down the stairs to investigate the noise. The noise started to become louder as she approached the kitchen, as if somepony was eating something. When she walked into the kitchen, Twilight saw a horrifying sight: a large, fat, purple creature with food smothered across its hands, belly, and mouth. Its eyes were looking off in different directions and its mouth was held agape, drool leaking out.
The creature started to speak to in a weird, dumb-sounding, cartoonish, voice. "Twilight Sparkle, Princess of Friendship, the Element of Magic. I've heard a lot about you." it said.
"W-Who are you?!" Twilight said, her voice trembling. "W-What are you?!"
"I am GRIMACE!!"
"Wait, but, I thought you were just another marketable mascot used to promote a brand." Twilight said.
"Haha, FOOL! I am no figment of some child's imagination." Grimace chuckled, flashing his wicked, toothless smile. "I am an powerful entity, being held back by the Mcdonald's company for several years, feeding off the souls of McDonald's employees they have sacrificed to keep me satisfied until me and my hunger could no longer be satiated by minimum wage workers. Through this shake, I was able to find more victims and souls to feed off of."
"Care if I add you to the collection?"
"Not a chance!" Twilight yelled, starting to prepare for magic for the fight.
"Heh, I love it when they fight!" Grimace said, smirking. As he said this, Twilight fired three magical beams at Grimace, all of them going straight through Grimace's body. At first, Twilight grinned but to her horror, his flesh started to regenerate.
"Ha! You really think mere magic can kill me, mortal!" Grimace laughed. Twilight was shocked and before she knew Grimace was already on her. He slammed her into the crystal wall causing her gasping in pain.
"P-Please, don't hurt me!" Twilight gasped, blood in her mouth.
"Haha, sorry, dear. My hunger just won't be satisfied." Grimace said before lunging at her, his mouth open wide. Twilight jumped out of the way just in time to avoid the creature's jaws. She kept shooting beams of magic at Grimace but all they did was slow him down.
The purple blob chased after Twilight although the chase was more of a mild sprint as Grimace just waddled towards the Princess of Friendship. Eventually though, he caught up with her. Grimace grabbed Twilight's left hoof, crushing it in his purple hands. Twilight squealed in pain and tried all she could to escape Grimace's grasp. But it was futile. Grimace laughed at the pony's struggles to get free. "End of the road, princess. I'm feeling merciful though so I'll allow you to say your final words." Grimace said.
"Bite me!" Twilight yelled at the purple blob, gritting her teeth.
"Poor choice of words." Grimace said, smirking. Before Twilight's eyes, Grimace unhinged his mouth like a snake, revealing a dark, fleshy tunnel lined with thousands of sharp teeth. "Goodbye, Twilight Sparkle."
Twilight screamed as Grimace dropped her into his open mouth. Her screams echoed throughout the halls of the castle until all went silent. Grimace vomited out the remains of Twilight near the map after consuming most of her body. After he left, it was as if he was never there to begin with. Except for puddle of purple slime oozing from Twilight's decaying body.
