After the defeat of Lord Tirek, Cozy Glow and Queen Chrysalis, the Equestrian government decide that the ponies of Equus deserve true justice for the crimes that were committed against them. The Equestrian military tribunal was set up and 17 defendants are put on trial.

One of the defendants is a recently resurrected King Sombra. Here is his life, from birth in the frozen north until his sentence by the tribunal.
