The Hatch-Day Present/Spike's Journey/The Screwball
It was Spike’s hatch-day but rather than going out and celebrating with his friends, he decided to stay in his house cause this hatch-day fell on his least favorite day Friday The 13th. While the Drake already has a lot of bad luck, he not gonna risk horrible bad luck by going outside.
To avoid any bad luck inside his house, he also had all his furniture moved to a warehouse yesterday, a day before. Spike also painted his entire house with supposedly magic paint that changes color as of right now it was a redish-pinkish color, finally he made sure to sound-proof his house.
The next thing the dragon heard was a knock at his door, he then slowly walked over to his door and peeked through the peephole to find no creature or hazard that could cause him terrible bad luck. He opened the door to find a large package. He then reached into his pocket and grabbed a bad luck scanner, which he bought a week before Friday The 13th, he scanned the package and found no signs of terrible bad luck.
He quickly pulled the package inside, examined it, the package didn't seem to have a stamp or return address, but there wasn't any signs of terrible bad luck, so Spike concluded that whoever sent this package either doesn't know how to ship items or sent it themselves, shortly after this conclusion he found a tag on it.
"Salutations, Spike the dragon it's your old friend Thorax, you know the reformed changeling war criminal but that's besides the point, my main point is happy hatch-day which this year fell on Friday The 13th, stay safe Spike look out for bad luck." Spike read "No kidding" he muttered
"Oh boy, oh boy oh boy!" he said gleefully as he hopped on top of the package and tore off the first layer revealing the actual present, he then unraveled the large red bow which caused the lid to top off and reveal a few smaller presents. "Which one should I open first?" he closed his eyes and looked away and mixed around the presents a little before grabbing one, which was a pink with a turquoise bow.
He shook it, whatever seem to be inside was either cramped in or big "What in Frostbite's name could possibly be in here" he stated, when he unraveled the bow, a projector mounted on a stand, 2 film reels and a small cylinder popped out. "Home movies! haven't seen a projector used in like forever" he exaggerated, he then placed the film reels on the projector "What is this thing, how do I open it?" Spike asked fiddling with the cylinder only for it to pop open into a projection screen.
He took one of the reels off the projector and looked into the film tape and found a young version of himself with a Popsicle "My journey from the Dragonlands to Ponyville! I thought I lost this home movie!" Spike said remembering when he left the Dragonlands in search of more mild temperatures
"Salutations once again Spike a few months ago before you hatch-day I checked out the crocodile lake, where we first met and found this film reel near the lake, surprised it wasn't destroyed by war or over time, I've been spending the last few months restoring this film and now have fully restored it just in time for you hatch-day." Spike read on a tag attached to the projector.
Flashback
Turns out Spike's bad luck was a thing since Day 1
During the egg hatching ceremony in the Dragonlands, Spike's egg right as it was about to hatch fell out of the crater, rolled past a crowd of dragons down a few stones, fell and drifted down a lava lake went down a lavafall, and stopped on a rock only for said rock to be blasted into the air by a lava geyser and finally ended up balancing on a small rock, apart of a tall pile, the biggest rock being at the bottom and smallest at the top.
The egg hatched and out came a baby Spike, he looked around, taking in his surroundings and then down, once realizing how high he was, he dropped the 2 halves of the egg, closed his eyes and wrapped his arms and legs around 3 small rocks, due to how tightly he was holding onto the rocks they slid off the tall tower, with the baby dragon still holding on.
He opened his eyes and let go of the rocks which seem to slow down his fall, with the extra weight removed, but that didn't the fact that he was currently plummeting to the ground at a high speed. He closed his eyes but the pain never came, when he opened his eyes turns out he had landed in a lava pool, turns out a volcano had sprung a leak and filled up a deep crater with lava.
He got out of the lava pool but as soon as he felt the heat of the lava and overall Dragonlands he started sweating a lot, dragons do normally sweat but never this much the only other reason they would sweat this much would be because they were nervous
Present
Spike placed the film reel back on the projector and then turned it on, and sat right under the projection luckily he wasn't tall enough to cast a shadow on the actual film.
The film started off inside a cave, it zoomed over a few buckets of gem and landed on a, freezer and AC set on cold. It then showed a 2ft Spike, wearing tropical clothing opening the freezer and grabbing a Popsicle coated in crystals, he then walked over to the AC and placed his head on it.
He walked out of the cave seeing how long he could last before sweating again, he ended up lasting 5 seconds, but right as he was about to walk back into his cave when he saw a dragon drop a postcard, he walked over to and picked it up it had a picture of a place called Ponyville Spike thought it looked cool, but besides that he went to return it to the dragon who dropped it only for something too catch his eye.
This postcard had a lot of text on it but the piece of text that caught his eye was the text saying Mild Temperature. Knowing this he packs a suitcase of clothing and a few other things he'll need, puts on mountain climbing shoes and starts climbing up a rocky hill. A group of dragons notice him and wave goodbye.
Spike waves back and continues climbing the rocky hill only for to lose his grip due to his sweaty claw, he bounces around like a pinball before crashing into the group of dragon knocking them away like a set of bowling pins and lands right back in his cave.
The next thing he tried was tying his AC to his back, which allowed him to successfully climb the mountain but when he, turned around to wave back at a group of dragons the weight of the AC caused him to fall over, but instead of bouncing around like a pinball he ended up rolling down the hill and knocking down 2 groups of dragons like bowling pins, he ended up getting stuck in a crack, sweat falling down like a waterfall
2 dragons, a red one and a orange dragoness had to lift him out of that crack, bring him back to his cave, the dragoness had to fix his AC and the red one threw him into a bathtub full of ice cubes.
The next method, strategy, plan etc Spike had was to fly to Ponyville unfortunately he wasn't born with wings or grew them. "Hey Frostbite is there any other way a dragon could grow wings?" he asked the frost dragon, only one of his kind
"Well while most dragons are born with wings, if not they usually grow them naturally or by greed, but since you didn't grow them naturally or by greed, I did hear of this myth where if you attach a ruby to a collar you can gain magic power, although I do feel like that's a misconception" Dragonlord Frostbite explained
"Sure I'll prove or bust that myth" Spike said face lit up and giving the Dragonlord a thumbs up. The drake went to the crystal mines, and thought a ruby might work the best so he spent hours looking for a ruby mining around other crystal and gemstones.
He eventually found one and moved onto the next step which was making the collar, so using a random slab and a hammer he first started by removing most of the slab leaving behind a rectangle, after that he used a saw to shape the slab into a collar, he then created a outline of the ruby on the collar.
He placed the ruby induced collar on his neck but instead of it just falling off a magic red tendril came out of the ruby and wrapped around the dragon's neck, shortly after that he grew to 4ft the size of and average dragon but most importantly, he grew wings.
He had a bit of trouble getting off the ground, but once he did he crashed into a rock, and then another and yet another another, he eventually got the hang of it and manage to fly to the top of the rocky mountain he was trying to climb during his first 2 attempts to leave.
The next thing he tried to do with his wings is stay in one place more specifically flutter his first attempt failed as he ended up sliding down the other side of the hill into a lava puddle. Not wanting to waste anytime trying to get the hang of this, he went back to flying.
He eventually made out of the Dragonlands, he could tell cause there seem to be no more rocks and lava, those 2 elements being replaced by grass, trees and water, during his trip he noticed that grey clouds were starting to form which wasn't normal in his homeland, and next thing he knew it started raining which annoyed him.
He reached into suitcase he on his back, pulled out and opened his umbrella only for it too be struck by lightning and cahc on fire, causing Spike to toss it aside.
The storm must've really messed up him and his trip cause the next day he found himself in a snowy area in the middle of a snowstorm, at first he enjoyed the place cause it was way cooler than his homeland, but then he started to shiver and icicles started forming on his muzzle, he tried creating a fire with his breath only for it to be put out by the piling snow.
Not wanting to freeze to death he flies off again and once far from that frozen area he perches on a tree branch and checks his map and finds out he had gone to far to the north towards and area called the Frozen North. After another exhausting days of flying he eventually found himself flying over a town, he checked the postcard and it matched up.
He was just about to nose dive into Ponyville but is stopped by a cracking noise he looks at the amulet and finds it cracking, turns out that the dragon's excessive use of it for a whole week and the heat of the sun had been wearing down the ruby and now it was about the break.
The winged drake placed his claws on the ruby in hopes of keeping it together a little longer, but as a result it shatters to pieces and Spike loses his wings, but for some reason kept his 4ft height. He started plummeting to the ground, more specifically the middle of Ponyville.
As he was falling he saw a few ponies carrying thins he tried to steer himself towards them to no avail, he closed his eyes hoping that one of the ponies container will break his fall.
A purple unicorn was pulling a hay cart along "Really wish a friend would just fall out of the sky" she half joked, only for something to fall on top of the hay, causing it to go everywhere. Once the hay cleared up she found Spike brushing himself off and even coughing out some hay.
"OH MY GOSH! A DRAGON TO TALK TO!" the unicorn exclaimed excitedly "Hi there i'm Twilight Sparkle, i've never seen a dragon outside of books, can you tell me all about you and your species!" Twilight said really fast shaking Spike's claw which even lifted him off the ground.
"Hi there Twilight i think, I'm Spike i actually just left the Dragonlands to come to a Ponyville, so I stop sweating and live in more mild temperatures" he explained handing Twilight the postcard
"Well you came to right pony!" Twilight exclaimed putting the postcard in her pocket "Come on lets go to my house it has an AC!"
"Can't believe I also forgot how I met Twilight" Spike thought as he ate a bowl of crystal and gemstone bites and the home movie ended only for another one to start.
How about we go over all the different species, creatures, archetypes etc here in Equestria.
The film then cut to a forest panned past a bunch of trees a few of them having animals, and landed on a tent called Pony Photographic Expedition
A pony with a teal mane and tail, wearing a explorer hat and outfit came out of the tent, weirdly enough it was very clear that he was wearing the hat and outfit over a miner outfit, since the rim of the helmet was visible and the headlight jutted out of the hat and the explorer outfit was to small which made parts of his overall stick out.
He adjusted the camera around his neck and started taking pictures of birds, a few animals and the overall beauty of the Everfree Forest.
First is the pony they're the most normal, humble and common creatures in all of Equestria, they're somewhat hard workers which they put some effort into to, they like engaging in recreational activities like baking, reading or in this case photography
The camera pans into the Pony Photographic Expedition tent and stops on a orange dragoness, wearing a construction outfit, vest and helmet working on some kind of complex machine, she also seem to be hoarding a few stack of crystal/gemstones.
Now we have the dragon, while these creatures often paint themselves as tough and greedy once you really get to know them, they like to engage in recreational activities similar to ponies, examples of these activities are tea parties, poetry and in this case engineering.
The camera cuts back to the pony who still taking pictures of the Everfree Forest's, animals and beauty, he then takes a picture of a rock, which is then surround in a pillar of green light and once it disappears it reveals a light blue changeling, with a red shell, which scares off the pony.
Next is the changeling while they're on good terms with the United Nations, the ponies, dragons and hippogriffs they're not apart of it cause they have a fairly small population. While they can turn themselves into inanimate objects like rocks or air pumps, they can't disguise themselves as other creatures cause they don't have enough energy an they if they able to the disguise looks incomplete or weird looking.
The changeling sees something and turns back into the rock, a few seconds later a blue griffon wearing stolen golden armor lands and looks around and is blinded by the pony's camera flash. His blue pupils turn red, he inhales deeply and lets out a massive roar which blows away the pony along with the leaves of many trees and causes a bunch of birds to fly away.
This is the griffon they're greedy and hostile towards other non-griffons, one of the most notable griffons is The Big Ba Griffon, basically a normal griffon 5 times worse.
The golden armor he wears is apparently stolen from Canterlot, and is basically a stolen Equestrian history since Canterlot had Royal Guards, but when Bulletproof came to power he replaced them with soldiers while less protected than guards, they can camouflage which makes them stealthier. He also added a police force to Ponyville.
The camera goes back to the pony who had crashed into a rock and rubbing the back of his head, he puts both his hats back on and spots a female yak eating some grass.
Next is the yak they're a rare species , just like griffons they're hostile towards other non-yaks, but unlike the lionbirds they don't seem to have a kingdom, they're very strong able to easily smash and wreck other things and they're heavy enough to shake the ground and surroundings.
The pony, fascinated by the yak takes a picture of it unfortunately the flash from the camera enrages the cause, she then charges at the pony smashing through a bunch of rocks and trees causing him to run away. The camera then moves away from the pony and yak and lands on a pink hippogriff perching on a branch.
Finally we have the hippogriff, they're apart of the United Nations, and they're leader Seaspray is apart of The Big 3 along with Bulletproof of the ponies and Frostbite of the dragons. Hippogriffs are also able to transform into hippocampus, better known as the seapony.
The pink hippogriff then turns into a seapony and dives into the pond below, she swims around a little, all of a sudden a purple filly, smaller than a filly but bigger than a chip-pony ponies with chipmunk snouts, with a purple and white mane, wearing a propeller hat lands on the seapony's head and dives off it into the pond.
"Oh her a thousand pardons, this is Screwball the clown of the forest, as her name suggest she is a absolute screwball, she's crazy, looney, silly, goofy random and chaotic, she even has her own theme song.
Screwball then jump onto a branch, turns her propeller hat into a top hat, grabs a music sheet only to randmoly screech and rip the sheet in half, she then walks around, up, down and upside down the tree and then teleports around it all while humming her tune.
The filly continues to hum her tune as the film documentary ends and Spike starts laughing and notices that he had completely finished the bowl of crystal/gemstone bites down the the last crumb.

Thorax/Changeling Hive/Blame On Music/Black Magic
Spike threw the empty bowl aside and turned around to watch the home movie again only to find all the film tape taken out of the reels, all tangled up and a mess on the floor "What in Frostbite's name just happened here?!"
He then started hearing guitar and flute music, and saw it coming from a yellow glow and bubbles inside the present box "Welp looks it time for my next present!" Spike declared then running over to the box and looking inside, the glow died down a little when he looked in, the glow and bubbles was coming from deep in the box, he dug around and pulled out a square shaped, green and orange striped present with a yellow bow
"Say what's this?" Spike wondered before unraveling the bow and found a book titled Places Of Equestria, when he flipped the book to its first page it magically flipped to the middle page where he found the source of the bubbles, guitar and flute music, it was coming from a miniature Thorax, wearing a suit despite being non-anthro, blowing bubbles out of a pipe and currently playing a small black umbrella like a guitar.
The changeling was playing the umbrella guitar, behind an Equestrian map, he then switched from playing the actual umbrella like a guitar to playing the handle like a flute, he briefly played the flute and then switched back to the guitar. "Salutations Spike the dragon!" Thorax greeted having noticed the drake and stopped his performance.
"What's for breakfast, or as you dragons say, what's cooking" The bug pony greeted "Thorax, nice to see you again did you ship yourself in here with my presents?"
"Well actually I delivered them myself, and once i got to your door I shrunk and teleported myself into the Places Of Equestria book, one of your presents." Thorax explained "Imagine meeting me here, say Spike have you ever been to The Changeling Hive!"
"No while i've certainly heard of it but I've never been there myself." Spike explained, Thorax took the pipe out of his mouth "Ah the Hive bright colors. colorful residents, beautiful architecture. nice-" he was suddenly interrupted by Screwball walking past and then around him, still singing her theme song, then grabbing his bubble pipe out of his hoof with her mouth.
She continued to sing her theme while blowing bubbles out of the pipe, and walking up the wall, on the ceiling, sliding down the wall and trying to pull the page to the side, which almost causes Thorax to fall over.
"Hey I paid 20 bits and waited 4 months for that bubble pipe!...oh pardon the interruption Spike, that crazy pony is Screwball she's coo coo crazy, a very stupid creature, but that's besides the point tell me have you ever been to The Hive?" the changeling asked again while walking to the edge of the page only to find Screwball gone
"No I haven't" the drake responded "Oh I'm so sorry for you, tell you what how about we kill 2 ponies with one rock, wait that's not it...kill 2 dragons with one boulder...kill 2 yaks with one bullet... kill 2 griffons with one spear...kill 2 changelings with one love blast. kill 2-" he trailed off
"It's kill 2 birds with one stone" Spike corrected "Eh I was half right on my first attempt, here's the plan help me get my bubble pipe from Screwball and in the process I can show you the Changeling Hive." Thorax offered "Sounds like a plan" Spike accepted
"Hey Spike have you ever been to The Changeling Hive?" the changeling asked starting to sing, the dragon nodded his head "Have you ever heard of changeling culture?" Thorax then split into four identical clones that copy each other's actions. "Uhh-uh" Spike responded shaking his head
"Well lets go then!" The clones said in union, before stacking up the top one, pulling a mallet out of nowhere and hitting Spike on the head but instead of making him dizzy and seeing stars, it shrunk him down to the size of the four identical clones.
"Do you like beautiful landscapes, and bright colors?" They asked, the third clone then changed his suit to a tourist outfit, wearing a tropical shirt, a pair sunglasses, ad a camera around his neck "Of Course!"
"Have you tried changeling branded soup? That's right we changelings even have our own brand of food" All four clones claimed followed by the second clone changing outfits from a suit to a grocery worker, and pulling a cart behind them, it then handed Spike a bowl of luke warm soup.
He took a sip of it and grew a suspicious look on his face "Have YOU been to the Changeling Hive?" the drake countered, The clones seem to stop copying each other, the seconds clone asked the first clone, and he shook his head, the one that asked first also shook his head, they asked the third one and got the same respond, they all then asked the fourth one a what do you know he also shook his head, so the first one concluded that Thorax had never been to The Changeling Hive.
"No!" the all said in union, they all combined back into one Thorax, wearing the suit
"Yeah you see when we first met and after I was released from prison I didn't return the the hive, while it did recover from war, I decided to live among ponies, you know be the odd one out, while I lied about me going to the Hive I didn't lie about the changeling branded soup, bet you'll find a changeling pull a cart of canned soup, I've actually never tried one so that soup i handed you was just bought from a local grocery store." Thorax explained rubbing the back of his head blushing a little.
"Well let's go!" Spike exclaimed, grabbing Thorax's hoof when running past him. The page then flipped from the Equestrian map to a page that was completely blank except for a set of train tracks, there wasn't a station or any buildings around the tracks.
"Weird they're usually a train here, but what's more weird is that I remember buildings being here" The duo then heard a train whistle, and found Screwball as the driver of The Pal Express, Equestria's train ride, with the changeling's bubble pipe still in her mouth.
The drake and changeling barely had any time to react before they were both flatten like a pancake from being run over. "Hey grab on!" Thorax said reverting back to his 3D form, Spike grabbing onto his hoof, he then opens his umbrella and inhaled deeply before letting out a gust of wind which propels them and allows them to grab the railing of the last train car and hop on.
"Knew you were too heavy to carry on my back so that's why I devised a back up plan," Thorax informed Spike, closing his umbrella and placing the handle in one of his suit's pockets.
The duo then walked to the front of the car and opened the door, jumped a small gap and made it to the second to last train car, they kept on repeating this sequence until the reached the locomotive where they found Screwball blow the train whistle, the bubble pipe still in her mouth, still singing her theme song
Thorax attempted to grab her but the filly teleported away by simply hopping, Spike let out a stream of green fire but Screwball stepped aside and then proceed to roast a skewer of a dozen sausages over it, then swallowing all 12 of them in one go.
The chaotic pony then hopped and teleported to a comedically large red switch, she then pulled it which caused the Pal Express to stop very fast and very suddenly, which caused the dragon and changeling to be flung out a open window, up a hill and into the dirt.
"Welp at least we're here." Thorax said weakly as he and Spike got up, brushed the selves off and kept on walking, they tripped and start sliding down a large rocky hill, before going off a ramp with launched the duo really high up into the air "Hang On!" Spike wrapped his arms around Thorax as he opened his umbrella and they glided down safety to the ground. Spike was honestly surprised the umbrella didn't turn inside out.
When they landed they heard hooves clopping, Spike then found a bunch of colorful changelings clapping their hooves together not only that, there was banner saying Welcome Home King Thorax, colorful decorations and table off food one table had changeling brand canned soup. "Oh yeah Spike something I forgot to mention is that i'm the leader of the changelings basically their king now."
"Welcome home King Thorax!" A male changeling greeted "And this is-" he trailed off "This is Spike my dragon pal!" the king responded.
"Hey if you're wondering the reason why I never told you i'm the king of the changelings, when I first mentioned the Hive is because I don't really care about being a king, i want to be as humble and down to earth as i can be, you know live a normal life, not to boring but not too exciting." He whispered over to Spike.
"Alright every changeling, while it's nice for you all to celebrate my return, I really don't need a of this" Thorax announced "Awwwwwwwwwwwwww" the changelings said disappointingly as they took down the banner, decorations and a dark changeling with red horns and purple eyes dumps the changeling brand canned soup, along with other plates of food into a cart.
Spike walks over and goes to grab a can of soup only to trip on a rock, hit his chin on the rim of the cart and faceplant into a muddy puddle. The drake takes this time to really in take in the beauty the hive, he really liked the colorful architecture of the place just like his friends said, when he grabbed onto a rock to get up he found his claw stuck to some sticky goo "What's this?"
"Oh that's changeling slime,,something we produce and comes out of our mouths we used it as a weapon during war, but after war we basically took it out of our systems, literally cause i'm pretty sure modern generations of changelings don't even have it and pretty sure even the ones that still have it don't use it" the humble king explained.
The purple and green dragon at first tried to shake it off his head to no avail, then he placed his second claw on the slimed claw, but this just creates a slime bridge connecting the 2 claws together. The drake the places his foot on the bridge but this ends up being a bad decision, while it stretched out the bridge one of his feet gets stuck in the slime.
He the added another foot in hopes that enough force will break the bridge, he strained lifting his arms up and stretching his legs. In the end his plan worked, but not in the way he wanted, after he broke the bridge his face, feet, legs, and chest all got covered in slime.
"Let me help you" Thorax offered no wanting to see Spike suffer more "No don't worry I can get out myself" this statement is immediately jinxed as he trips on another rock and not only faceplants into another muddy puddle bust also smears the goo on more of this body.
He tries to get up with the changeling goo not stuck to his body and the ground, after straining a little to get up he faceplants back into the mud. Gathering all the strength he has the drake then runs way, around a rock, zigzags around three trees and into a bush.
Spike stops to catch his breath only to be yanked out of the bush crashes into all three trees, hits the rock and face plants into the puddle, the splash was big enough to even cover Thorax in mud, "Alright you can help me now" he informed the down to earth king, slightly muffled
Thorax lit his horn, and blasted out a laser which instantly made all the changeling slime/goo disappear of his body "Seriously you have magic i thought the only magic you changelings had were transforming magic, and that horn was just cosmetic." Spike said brushing himself off
"Yeah while we changeling do have magic in our horns we don't use it a lot since transforming is a lot more powerful." the changeling king claimed "What do you mean more powerful, you can't disguise yourself as other and only transform into intimate objects."
"Oh yeah" Thorax stated before turning himself into bomb ready to go off, Spike knew he wouldn't have enough time to run away so he took cover by putting his claws over his head only for the a explosion of multi-colored confetti to happen "Gotcha!"
"That was a good one not gonna lie" Spike admitted "I'll never turn myself into a explosive bomb cause if do and go off I also die in to process" the changeling explained
Spike then spotted the changeling pulling along the cart of food, he then pulled a green mallet out of nowhere and went to hit it only to slip on a half eaten cupcake a changeling dropped, did a back flip and face plant into yet another mud puddle. "Hey King Thorax while i know you don't need a whole party you could at least try my donuts." A female changeling offered, with a tray of donuts around her neck.
There was so many different types of donuts on the changeling's tray, the classic glaze, blueberry, vanilla frosting, strawberry frosting, chocolate frosting the ladder 3 with sprinkles, powdered and many more but the one Spike had his eye on was a glazed donut coated in ruby shards.
Thorax grabbed the vanilla frosted with sprinkles and Spike grabbed the glazed, ruby shards one "MMMMM! Jelly filled!" both creatures coincidentally said in union.
Spike still wanting to try the changeling bran canned soup snuck on the changeling pulling the cart of food and reached inside only to find and grab Screwball by the neck Thorax's bubble pipe still in her mouth. Thorax quickly trots over and grabs his bubble pipe back from the filly but in the process knocking over a lantern into a bush which starts a fire.
The duo tries to stomp out the fire but Spike ends up burning his foot grabbing the bottom of it with his claws and hopping around and Thorax ends up burning both his front hooves. Panicking Thorax opens his umbrella grabs Spike's claw and blows into his umbrella, which propelled them away.
A few hours later
What at first started as simply worry and paranoia about if they returned to the hive they could be held accountable for the fire and may be hated for the rest of their lives by every creature, turned to guilt feeling extremity bad about what they done and the fact that i was over a bubble pipe, but in their defense it did cost Thorax 20 bits and he also had to wait 4 months for it just in time for Spike's hatch-day.
This guilt was so bad it took away their happiness both figuratively and literally as the duo had lost their colors, which were replaced by different shades of blue. Thorax blew very few bubbles out of his pipe as he and Spike walked along a trail, both frowning, heads down and blue.
Screwball saw them in their sad states and got an idea, she directed the 2 creatures down a trail of platns which they walked down very slowly, she followed the trail which led to and underground cave, she came across a Maulwarf, but she simply snapped her fingers and the monster turned into a table, the filly then spawned a bunch of cafe furniture into the cave.
The chaotic pony then did some complicated mathematics, before pulling out a white rectangle board, then threw it away and pulled out a identical one, she wrote something on it before nailing the board onto the rim of the underground cave naming it The Music Cafe.
By the time she was done the dragon and changeling had walked into the cave cafe, she showed them their table but they just looked at it before walking past, she then pulled both the chairs out, teleported in front of the duo and swept them into the chairs and into the table.
She then gave each one a menu, Thorax slightly raised his eyelid before dropping it, a bubble he blew hit a picture of a spaghetti and meatballs. Spike simply stared at his menu, pointed at something random before dropping his eyelid as well. Screwball came back with a plate of 3 tacos for the drake and a bowl of spaghetti and meatballs for the humble changeling king.
Thinking they might want seasoning the looney filly poured some Liquid Love onto the spaghetti, and seasoned the tacos with powered rubies and crystal/gemstones. Spike just simply started at his food as for Thorax his head fell and face planted on his food
Thinking they might want entertainment instead Screwball ripped both their menus, came back with cabasa and shook it with turned Thorax purple raising his mood, she then turned it into a pandeiro and banged it which turned him orange fixing his posture, she turned that into cuica and hit the bottom of it with turned him green, suddenly all those ladder colors combined, and gave Thorax his color and happiness.
As the changeling ate his spaghetti, the crazy pony strummed a guitar with turned Spike purple and fixed his mood, 4 birds then popped out of Screwball's cap and started humming which turned the drake a dark green and also fixed his posture, finally she turned the guitar into a bongo and banged it turning him a light green, he grabbed a taco and ate it as the ladder colors combined and gave Spike his happiness back.
Spike tried to join Thorax who was dancing and blowing bubbles like he could before, Screwball then grabbed the dragon's tail and pulled it causing him to start bouncing along the ground. Both creatures went up a set of stairs and started dancing on a counter, going claw in hoof and going in circles.
Screwy then lifts the counter revealing that it was actually a music staff, tripping the duo. The screwball poured the cabasa into a cup like a liquid, threw the pandeiro up into the air where it split into 5 smaller pandeiros and went into the cup, finally she chopped the cuica with a knife.
She then trotted over the 2 dizzy creatures, placed them into 2 cups, one of them with the music mixture, put the cups together and mixed them up. She then poured Spike into a green glass, the liquid coming out green along with the liquefied dragon, and then poured in the liquefied Thorax the cup grew 4 times the size and went Screwball jumped in the liquid turned purple.
The duo at first had no idea where they were a first but when they started hearing music and a piano playing itself, they swam over to it, the king used his umbrella handle to grab land and then used it to grab Spike. They both started dancing along to the music. Thorax opened his mouth which caused bubbles to come out and caused him to crash into Spike and knock him off.
He grabbed onto a platform below the piano only for Screwball to pop out if nowhere and knock him off with a bat, luckily Thorax grabbed him again with his umbrella handle.
All of a sudden the music stopped, Screwball then came out of nowhere again and teleported them to this random forest "Now where are we?" Thorax asked only for both to be knocked away by Screwball banging on a bongo, they ran away only for the screwy pony to appear in front of them banging a smaller bongo, when they ran away they came across her again this time playing a double bongo.
Out of nowhere massive versions of the instruments Screwball was playing the duo earlier to surround them. The ladder pony then started somehow blowing a massive bubble out of a flute which knocked the massive instruments away. Once it popped she then painted the leftover smaller bubbles different patterns which then turned into butterflies.
2 massive butterflies chased after Spike and Thorax, the changeling pulled the dragon back with his umbrella handle only for the butterflies to grabbed them, revealing that they're just marionettes controlled by Screwball riding a quarter note like a unicycle.
The pony eventually made the butterflies drop the 2 creatures, who then landed on a beam note that was riding on the staff, once the coo coo pony had reached the end of the staff, she pushed it which caused the beat to become extremely bumpy, she then pulled out a pencil, drew a whole and filled it with water.
Both creatures fell into the water hole which then disappeared. Thorax then poked a small hole with his umbrella tip which then broke into a massive hole, that spilled on Screwball and then Spike landed on her causing her to bounce away. The duo then found themselves back at the self playing piano.
As they continued to dance, Screwball lit a stick of dynamite and placed it under the piano which resulted in a explosion, although the piano was destroyed and then came back together, Spike and Thorax were launched out of the glass and out of the Music Cafe right as Screwball snapped her fingers and boarded up the place.
With their happiness and color back along with their guilt and regret gone, they went back to the Hive which had suffered pretty bad fire damage, Thorax strummed his umbrella like a guitar which changed every Changeling's mood, they all started dancing as music started.
During all of this the donut female changeling from earlier came up to Spike and Thorax and offered them another donut Spike grabbed a chocolate one and Thorax a strawberry. Shortly after that the dark changeling offered Spike something out of hid chart which and of course he grabbed the changeling brand can of soup "Thanks big brother!" Thorax says grabbing a cupcake out of the cart.
"Big Brother?!" Spike says before hitting the can against his head, that unintentionally opens it, he then proceeds to drink the soup straight out of the can, as Thorax secretly used his magic to fix the Hive's fire damage since other changeling were using their magic to fire fireworks.
By this point both had forgotten that they were in a book which in reality just had teleported them to the Hive. suddenly and very unexpectedly the book closed. Thorax managed to wiggle half of his body out of the closed book, grab Spike's claw open and blow into his umbrella.
"Can't believe this whole time i've could've just asked that changeling for a can of soup." Spike thought as he and Thorax were propelled out of the book.
"Hey Spike pretty sure you still have some more present to open!" Thorax reminded the dragon "MORE PRESENTS!" Spike exclaimed before running over to his present box and try to run up it only to fall. "What...uh oh i'm a midget, i'm small...Thorax you're a midget too."
"Don't sweat it Spike nothing a little black magic can't fix." Thorax claims blowing bubbles out of his pipe, he then does some kind of ritual dance, which causes the ground to shake followed by a bunch of zombified changelings dressed in armor and/or solider uniform come out of the ground.
"SPIKE WAKE UP!" Thorax yells causing Spike the jolt awake and look around for any zombie changelings "You passed out when the book closed good thing I got you out."
Spike walked over the present box and tried to climb up it only to slide down and tear off some rapping paper. "If we want to grow from midget size back to original size, to open your next present, i know just the spell" Thorax claims the lights going off and a spotlight appears, he does a dance luckily this one is more energetic like than ritual like, eventually one of his hooves are coated in a golden light, he put that hoof up to his mouth, which grows him back to original size "Now you try!"
Spike snaps his claw the lights go out but the spotlight appears next him, he walks over to it only to slide past it, he tries again same result, he resorts to having to pick it up and put it on him. He does his own energetic dance and gets on of his fingers to glow, except when he puts it up to his mouth his whole claw inflates.
"Oh yeah i forgot to mention i haven't adjusted the spell to work on anthro creatures so just keep on...doing whatever you're doing until you get it right." the changeling informs Spike. The dragon tries the move the spell to his chest but it ends up in his finger, he tries again it ends up in his tail, the his head, his eye, his stomach, finally he slightly moves the spell up and once it touched his chest his whole body inflates up to his original 4 foot size.
"Thanks Pal!" Spike thanks hugging Thorax "But Spike remember your presents!" the humble king says "My Presents!" the drake exclaims.
Sia/Three Amigos/Las Pegasus/Finale
"YIPPE" Spike and Thorax said in union as they jumped into the present box which caused the walls to fall, they threw a bunch of presents aside leaving 2 behind, the duo both shook a different present, they discard those 2 presents when they landed their eyes on a light blue present with a brightly colored, black, blonde and pink bow labeled as Las Pegasus and when they unraveled the bow a explosion of colors happened.
A orange sound wave appeared as the colorful explosion turned into a a background of constantly changing colors, the orange sound wave then formed into a bright orange guitar and shortly afterward turned into a fiddle. During the fiddle phase the duo started dancing around and even twirled claw in hoof and Spike even bumped his chest against Thorax's neck since he was non-anthro, despite wearing a suit.
The fiddle then changed into the horn of a trumpet, near the end of this phase as Spike and Thorax were jumping around they crashed into each other right as the trumpet turned back into the orange guitar. Getting curious he went to grab the guitar only for it to briefly change into a drum before back to the trumpet.
The trumpet turned out to be brief as well as the instrument changed into a guitar except this one was brown rather than bright orange, Spike went to grab it again only for it to move up, Thorax came back over and also got curious about the guitar and when he grabbed it turned into a actual physical guitar.
The empty sound wave then switched back to the trumpet and when Spike tried grabbing the horn to turn it into a physical trumpet he was then pulled into the horn and then turned into the sound wave.
After a lot of weird sound wave imagery and indescribable pain Spike had to go through, the drake was then inflated into what looked like and resembled a pinata, Thorax then walked up to the dragon pinata and then poked it with his bubble pipe which resulted in another explosion of colors.
Out came Spike and a new creature, it was a pony more specifically a pegasus mare with a blond and black mane and tail, she wore a black jacket, part of her mane was also covering her eyes and she wore a sombrero, when she popped out Spike ran over and somehow managed to wrap both his arms and legs around Thorax's head,
The pegasus was holding 2 pistols in her hands she fired them into the ground which kept her up in the air, she then fired them around the area which got it covered in smoke before throwing them up into the air still firing and finally caught them in her holsters followed by her taking the sombrero off and bowing revealing that she also wore a large pink bow.
Spike was lucky he sound proofed his house cause if one of this neighbors heard all those gunshots, they would defiarely call the cops and get this pegasus arrested.
As soon as the pegasus saw the dragon and changeling she unraveled her bow pulled the part of her mane covering her eyes back, them closed before tying her mane again.
"Why hello there i'm looking for the creature in charge i'm Sia Songbird Pistols Kate Isobelle Furler Serenade, fans used to call me Songbird Serenade but friends call me Sia. Welcome to Las Pegasus it's a pleasure to see such unique creatures in Las Pegasus" she said as she opened her sapphire-blue eyes while shaking Spike's claw and Thorax's hoof which shook out all the things both creatures were carrying, they were still shaking even after Sia was done hand-shaking them.
"Well nice to meet you Sia i'm Spike and this is Thorax and what do you mean by fans used to?" Spike asked "Oh right i was a member of the pony band Crisp at some point in my life, but after a good career I left the band I tried becoming a popstar alone, but that didn't get me anywhere so I've decided to start my own band and by band I mean trio I was gonna go with Three Lovers (what Sia fans are called).
"But I then realized how silly that would sound so in the end I decided to go with...The Three Caballeros, Caballero which is a term and it simply means cow pony and since cow ponies often wear sombreros.." Sia trailed off
"Here you 2...Spike..Thorax" Sia said pulling 2 differently sized sombreros out of her own, then throwing Spike an over size sombrero which was big enough to cover both the dragon's and changeling's head and Thorax a smaller one that fit perfectly between his antlers
"See now were three, yes three caballeros!" she then randomly posed for pictures from camera that flashes came out of nowhere which blinded Thorax and Spike,
"We're Three Caballeros, yes Three Caballeros, they say we are birds of a feather!" Sia and Thorax flew magic dust falling out of the pegasus' wings, Spike tried to fly only to face plant into the floor.
"We're happy amigos, no matter where he goes, then one, two, and three goes, we're always together!" they casually stepped over Spike. They then stopped right next to each other stacking their sombreros, separated and then grabbed their hats back.
They all then went crazy chasing each other around, hollering, yelling unintelligible stuff and Sia even fired a few shots into the air.
"We're three happy chappies, with snappy serapes, you'll find us beneath our sombreros!" They started side stepping (I think), then draped serapes over their arms or hoof in Thorax's case before sinking down and disappearing into their sombreros. They then popped out of nowhere and start going crazy, Sia fried multiple shots in the air, Thorax played his umbrella like a guitar and Spike stepped on his sombrero.
"We're brave and we'll say so, we're witted as a bit!" Sia reloaded her pistol, put it back in the holster before pulling out a shiny bit.
"WHO SAYS SO!" Spike asked angrily "WE SAY SO!, The Three Caballeros" the other 2 responded Sia for some reason holding the dragon at gunpoint with both her pistols.
Thorax then played the handle of the umbrella like a trombone, a trick he had just learned
"Ohhhhhhhhhhh!" they all held that note while leaning backwards, Spike leaned back a little too much and fell on his back "We have the rainbows to guide us!" Sia and Thorax sung as a rainbow starting from one cloud and ending at another spawned over the 3 creatures.
"Guitars here beside us!" Besides Spike appeared a large baritone saxophone instead of a guitar, he moved his claw which turned it into a trumpet which still wasn't the right instrument, he tried a third time which changed it to a string instrument but it wasn't a guitar it was a cello.
"To play as we go!" The pegasus and changeling started strumming their guitars, Spike strummed the cello which wasn't even the right way to play one, mistaking it for a large guitar.
"We sing and we dance, we shout, SWEET BULLETPROOF!" Sia exclaimed "What means Sweet Bulletproof?" Thorax asked never hearing the term due to being a changeling
"Oh, right..." She paused for a surprisingly long time, pointing at, scratching and even hitting her head a few times trying to remember "Actually I forgot what it means" Sia admitted breaking her song style of speech.
"Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" The trio suddenly found themselves in the rain with water falling into and filling up Sia's sombrero, then separating into 2 different waterfalls which poured into and filled up Spike and Thorax's sombreros which then poured onto the ground.
"Through fair and stormy weather!" a flash of lightning caused the dragon and changeling to grab onto Sia's chest "We stand close together!"
"Like books on a shelf!" another flash of lightning transitioned the trio of creatures to a large shelf platform, 2 giant books were then set on both edges squishing the creatures together
"Like brothers who bother, we're all for each other the Three Caballeros forever we're saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaafe
"Ohhhhhhhhhhhh!" as they all held that note, leaning backwards the usually one color sky turned into a night sky with stars "We have the stars to guide us!" a large star suddenly fell and hit Spike on the head making him dizzy and cause him to see stars.
"Guitars here besides us!" this time instead of the guitars appearing besides them they fell from the sky and landed next to them matching the color of the player, Spike's purple guitar somehow landed on top of his head, but at least we actually got to play with little to no delay with the other 2 Caballeros.
"We sing and we dance, we shout-" she trailed off for about a second "SWEET FROSTBITE!" Spike exclaimed completing Sia's line "What means Sweet Frostbite?" Thorax asked again "Oh yes I don't know"
Tired of bad luck even in a musical number, smoke came out of Spike's nose he then replaced his sombrero with a horned bull helmet and was ready to charge at other Caballeros, Thorax ran away but Sia, put on bullfighter attire and pulled out a red serape, which the dragon charged at.
The Caballeros then went crazy again Sia fired a few shots into the air having before seemingly running out of bullets, she then started throwing multi-colored confetti into the air while Thorax was played his umbrella like a trombone and Spike played his muzzle like a flute
"We're the Three Caballerossssssssss-" Spike and Thorax couldn't hold the note any longer so they took their sombreros off and bowed but were very confused on how or why Sia was still holding the note, Thorax turned himself into a ladder, Spike climbed it and then splashed her with water which didn't do anything.
Thorax turned back to normal, pulled out a spray bottle of weed killer and sprayed Sia in the face which didn't make her move a inch. Spike came back with a coffin and Thorax pushed her in but when they carried it away the pegasus somehow fazed through it.
Thorax turned himself into a saw and Spike used it to cut the floor under her only for the floor the dragon and transformed changeling were standing on to fall which was then replaced by a new floor. Spike placed down a row of 7 flowers and Thorax watered and then sprayed them with plant grow, they then all grew into bushes which combined into a giant wall which was then burned down by the 2 Caballeros which didn't faze her.
Spike then threw a The Triple Layer Vanilla, Strawberry, Chocolate Ice Cream Cake at her, which caked her in cake, but this just ended with the cake mush just slipping off her. The duo then switched from trying to stop her to getting her attention, Thorax tried flash photography which didn't seem to blind her, stop the note, make her change pose or all 3.
They both then carried a cage over and trapped her inside basically a parallel to their coffin attempt only for the note she was still holding to somehow break the cage, pieces of it going everywhere hitting the other Caballeros in the process knocking them away.
They went back to trying to stop her starting by dropping a crate full of random stuff on Sia before running in opposite directions to find a weapon as for the random stuff the only thing that actually hit her was a table cloth. Right before Thorax attacked her with a axe and Spike with a golden cannon the table cloth then seem to shrink and the note seem to stop.
When Thorax took it off Sia had sunk down and disappeared into her sombrero, Spike then lifted and looked under it his eyes widen and he placed it back down, a large object then came out of hat and once it was fully out Sia then popped out. "YEE-HAW I can see both RAINBOWS AND STARS!"
"Uh Sia what's this?" Spike asked pointing at the large, object covered in purple, green and black paper mache, covered with stars and rainbows, along with 3 cardboard looking spikes sticking out of it "Oh this..this is my gift to you from Las Pegasus, why else do you think i said Welcome To Las Pegasus, i brought something from Las Pegasus here, it's called a pinata, believe it or not it's actually a huge part of Equestrian history."

"You mean like a part of Hearth's Warming, Hearth's Warming is here once again !" Spike started singing "Ohhhhhhhh, no, no Spike for goodness sake a pinata isn't part of Hearth's Warming, it was a part of settling Equestria" Sia said struggling to hold in her laughter.
"You mean like a part of Hearth's Warming, Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells jingle all the way- !" Spike started singing "Ohhhhhhhh, no, no Spike for goodness sake not Jingle Bells or Hearth's Warming, it was a part of settling Equestria" she said struggling to hold in her laughter.
The pegasus takes her sombrero off the other 2 following, she then reaches in a pull out a postcard, and then grabs a tag off the pinata both depicting the first settlers of Equestria "You see when Equestria was first founded, one of the first traditions they had was that they would fill paper figures with seeds and then break the figure open, cause they believed it was good luck, this tradition evolved, from a religious tradition of sorts to what it is today filling a paper mache, animal, figure or character with goods."
"Well what types of goods are in this pinata?" Thorax asked placing a hoof on the brightly colored pinata "It's full of surprises I paid a good 10000 bites and waited a whole year for this pinata to be made and delivered so it's not only full of candy but other goods like presents, i never asked the company that made this pinata what's inside so it's gonna be a surprise for all of us."
"Wow that cost and times make my purchase of this bubble pipe look cheap." The changeling comments "Now it's time to open you pinata Spike, here use this." Sia declares handing the birthday drake a hollow bat, he rolls up his sleeve "Watch out you 2, watch out I'M GONNA SMACK IT!"
"Hold on Spike!" Sia interrupts, causing Spike to stop in midair "First you must be blindfolded, we have to put this over your eyes its part of the tradition...alright now lets see you smack it!" Once Sia had put the blindfold over Spike's eyes, she unraveled her large pink bow, retieing her hair with a smaller one to stop part of her mane from covering her eyes, and threw the pink rope over a support beam, which then tied itself around the pinata.
The drake feels around and feels the pinata still there, but when he goes to smack it, Sia and Thorax lift it up, causing Spike to miss and fly up like a helicopter, he falls but the hollow bat helicopters back down and hits him in the head. As the 2 Caballeros laugh, Spike mutters something unintelligible, as he feels around for the pinata, and once he does he goes to hit it, only for it to be lifted back up causing the dragon to hit a loose floorboard which hit him in the head.
Sia and Thorax laughed, they then lower the pinata, Spike bumped his head it on, feels it and then pops a eyes out of the blindfold to look at it. When he was gonna go for the hit, the pinata was lifted up, as a result the dragon hit himself in the tail, did a back flip and face planted into the floor.
Spike, basically just went screw it and started to wildly swing the bat, he missed the pinata most of the time and even when he was swinging where it was, the pinata was moved out of the way by the other Caballeros. The shape hit him in the face. then the chest, back of the head, neck, and even tail.
Going berserk mode, he cut off the pinata, as in placed the bat where Sia and Thorax were moving it, and as a result he finally hit and pinata which broke open. The figure not only poured out candy, but also confetti and a bunch of pegasi themed items fell out which included of statues, piggy banks or, pegai or pegasus banks, dolls, vases with the winged ponies painted on, accessories among other things.
The Caballeros started placing down the more fragile items like vases, pegasi or pegasus banks and a guitar which for some reason fell slower than the smaller things. A creepy looking fake pegasus with bull horns landed next to Spike and caught him off guard, so when a serape fell on him, he spazed and freaked out.
"See Spike I told you a pinata was full of surprises, and plus this is what 10000 bits can get you!" Sia said taking the serape off his head, "Alright since all of these items came with a price tag I did the math and found that very little of the 10000 bits were used to make the pinata, and almost all the budget went into the surprises." Thorax concluded, doing said math on a calculator with pegasi painted on.
Sia then caught a book titled Las Pegasus "Now for the second part of the surprise Spike, why did you think I said welcome to Las Pegasus!" She then flipped through the book and landed on a picture depicting a rare cloud. "You see when Bulletproof became the new leader of the ponies one of the first things we wanted to do was remodel Cloudsdale.
But not wanting to remove the ancient theme or architecture of it, he instead told the Wonderbolts to look for a rare cloud. They eventually found one it was a natural black one, which didn't cause rain or thunder when a pegasus stepped on it. Pegasi started building around the rare cloud, which eventually became Las Pegasus, and that natural black cloud still exists as the center of the cloud city!"
"That's a cool piece of Equestrian history, but what is there to love about Las Pegasus? Spike asked "Yeah it just one big party." Thorax added "Well i'll show you!" Sia responded placing the serape down and sitting, next thing they knew the serape started levitating. Thorax and Spike hopped on and tried to figure out how the serape worked.
Spike then found a lever at a side of the serape and pulled, the serape flew out the door luckily with not enough force to break it off it hinges so it just re closed itself when the Caballeros flew past. The other 2 grab on tightly to the flying serape and attempt to steer it to no avail.
Spike, knowing this isn't gonna get them to Las Pegasus anytime soon pulls the lever again which causes the serape to brake very abruptly and very suddenly, the creatures suddenly found themselves in the middle of a city on it tallest building "Now where are we?" Sia muttered opening a map trying to figure out where in Equestria they were.
Spike leaned against the tip of the building which resulted i it snapping off and the dragon sliding off the building "Grab This!" Thorax yelled throwing the drake his umbrella except when he opened it got turned inside out causing him to throw it back to the changeling.
Sia wiped her brow with her wing, which released magic dust which made her realize something, she steered the serape over to Spike and sprinkled some of her magic dust on the drake and as soon as he flapped his arms he started flying, this only ended up lasting a few seconds, but luckily Thorax grabbed him with his umbrella's handle.
Now knowing how to control the serape Sia steered it into the clouds, they eventually made there way to Las Pegasus but rather than actually entering the cloud city, they flew over it. Spike and Thorax really took in the beauty of this place, mainly the lights, another thing that caught their attention was the size of the place with a lot more attractions than they intentionally thought.
Sia then steered the serape down, letting the Caballeros have a closer look at the other attractions, they flew past a few pegasi which they all waved to. They toured past multiple attractions and stopped at the center of Las Pegasus, which still had the natural black cloud.
"See I told it still exist, you can step on it you just can't fall asleep on it or move it" Sia explained, Spike and Thorax both hopped off the serape, jumped onto the cloud and covered their ears but didn't hear a thunder strike or rain "Huh guess it color really is natural" Thorax commented
"See you 2, now do you see Las Pegasus as one big party?" the female Caballero asked "Well while it's bigger than we thought Is there anything else we'll like about this place besides the arcade and theme park?" the dragon Caballero countered "Oh I know one, it's a attraction I've had personal experience with."
The serape swept up the trio and then flew them over to one of the cloud city's attractions, it was a black pole with a red button, but more eye catching was the fact it had a bunch of random items tied to strings, that were attached to the pole and spinning around it.
When they walked up to it they were stopped by a force field "Why is there a force field here?" Thorax asked "Oh yeah almost forgot." the pegasus Caballero stated before flying away and coming back with a contract "You have to sign this magic contract, it's a agreement that you won''t sue the city id you get injured"
"Now that that's taken care of, not only have i've had personal experience with this attraction it's also my personal favorite it's pretty simple all you have to do is time it right and run through a gap to turn the machine off and if you do you win an amazing prize, so far no one has ever beaten it." Sia explained
By this point in the day the sun was setting, so there wasn't any peagsi or creatures in the area. Sia went first as a introduction to the tourist of how it worked, she ran through at a random time and got hit by a vase, which shattered in her face.
"First time trying it in a long time and I get the worst item on the wheel" Sia complained picking up and putting her sombrero back on. While most of the shards just got in her mane, some pieces did get in her face, but luckily not in her eyes which she was currently.
"Oh yeah forgot to mention if you fail hope you get hit by something soft or atleast blunt and not hard or sharp life I did." The pegasus said starting to pull the glass shards out of her mane. "Just gotta time it right!" Thorax muttered taking his time it before going for a large gap only to be smacked by a boxing glove luckily he didn't seem to suffer anything else outsize of a mark on his cheek.
Spike squinted at the machine trying to spot the biggest gap, while he was doing this Screwball popped out of a hole, under the umbrella of swinging objects, still singing her them song, did some complicated mathematics pulled out a wrench then used a it to screw the umbrella of objects off.
Right as Spike was gonna go for it the umbrella came off luckily it flew past the drake missing him by a lot. The trio heard a loud crash followed by a boot coming off and breaking the tip of one of Thorax's antlers off leaving a blunt end. A bird from the tree that caused the crash, then flew by and ripped the part of Sia's mane that would cover her eyes, when it's untied.
"HAH! For once I don't have the bad luck, take that Friday he 13th!" Spike celebrated his victory over his least favorite day of the year by grabbing a unlabeled, unfinished bottle and chugged it down. Spirals appeared in his eyes and then he passed out in the Caballeros' point of view.
Thinking he drank poison Thorax put a ear up to his chest and found the drake's heart still beating "Is he gonna be alright?" he asked concernedly "Don't worry the effect usually wears off after a few minutes" Sia reassured
In the dragons' own point of view everything around him disappeared and was replaced by an orange background. Orange colored versions of Sia and Thorax the popped out of nowhere "We're Three Caballeros, Three Caballeros, Three Caballeros..." the orange pegasus repeated as the orange changeling place down a bunch of flower pots and watered them, sprouting into flowers, Sia screamed as she shot all flowers, which broke apart into seeds.
"They say we are birds of a feather!" Next thing Spike knew he had the body of a bird, which he used to fly upwards, as he was doing this multiple types of birds flew past him, 2 normal looking birds turned into woodpeckers and started pecking him on the head, causing the dragon to lose his wings and fall onto a fake looking horse with the other 2 Caballeros.
"We're happy amigos, no matter where he goes, then one, two, and three goes, we're always together!" Sia started fire shots into the air as the horse turned into a pinata and was hit by one of the pegasus' bullets. Spike fell into desert setting, followed by the pinata pouring out grass which covered the area, the flowers seeds from earlier and a few trees and cacti.
"Through fair and stormy weather! We're always together like books on a shelf!" The sun came out and started blasting fireball at Spike, the first one burned his tail but besides that he didn't get hit. Storm clouds suddenly formed and blocked out the sun, and the drake almost got struck by lightning multiple times.
He was then crushed by a large bookshelf only for a giant flower to sprout out of the ground and lift the shelf off him. Giant flowers started growing out of the ground at a alarming rate, the Caballero then went towards the largest and farthest flower and as soon as he touched it a large explosion happened.
"YEE-HAW!" Sia hollered coming out of a tunnel, now dressed in her bullfighter attire and now in the middle of Las Pegasus catching the attention of multiple pegasi. Shortly after the pegasus Thorax popped out of the tunnel holding a broom and trash can on wheels.
All of a sudden the fake pegasus with bull horns from earlier dashed out of the tunnel, opening its mouth and revealing Spike inside snorting like a bull smoke even coming out of his nose.
"Come on bull give it to me!" Sia, taunted holding a red serape in front of the pega-bull before flipping it over to its blue side "What's the matter with you, are you colorblind?" The bull charged and Sia lifted the serape, before twirling and wearing it like a dress.
"OLE!" Thorax yelled splitting off into many clones which threw their sombreros, and got Sia buried in a pile of them, she came out of it, knocking all the hats aside now in here normal attire. "Yee-Haw!, come on bull!" The bull ran past and she lifted the red serape.
"Over here pega-bull!" she taunted now holding the serape with her wing, the bull charged and she lifted it. She yelled, breaking the serape in half and waving the halves around like flags and when the fake pega-bull charged, she lifted the halves with made it whole again.
She then held the serape behind her like a dancer which confused it, followed by her spinning it in front of the pega-bull which exhausted Spike. Thorax, behind the bull placed his bubble pipe on its tail and lit it since the pipe still required to getting the water boiling and blow bubbles.
The sticks of dynamite on the bull's tail went off, creating small explosions, the fuse then went into the pega-bull and set the inside on fire. Thorax then jumped over the bull and stuck 2 sticks of dynamite on Spike's tail which fell off and allowed him to exit the fake pegasus bull.
Through fair and stormy weather The bull chases after him, fire coming out of it's nose and burning him. We're always together Spike and the bull run through Sia's serape, the pegasus dodging them by hovering in the air. Thorax jumps over them gliding down with his umbrella.
So letssss- the fake half bull, half pegasus, rams the dragon causing him to land on its back and grab onto its horns only to be burned off by some sparks.
Like brothers who bother, we're all for each other the Three Caballeros , Spike rolled up his sleeves and then charged at the bull head first, said bull looking like it was about to blow.
Forever we're saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaafe Spike headbutted the pega-bull causing it to burst into a firework show. The drake at first was launched upwards by a spinning spike wheel, before sliding down a yellow firework like a playground or firefighter pole, landing safely in the flying serape held by Sia and Thorax,
The crowd of pegasi clapped as the firework show went on, the Caballeros took off their sombreros, Thorax gave Spike a kiss on the cheek followed by Sia giving him a peck on the lips.
"Happy Hatch-Day Spike!" The 2 flying Caballeros wished Spike as a firework spelled out Fin in Thorax's Colors an then another one spelled End in Sia's colors and finally the biggest firework spelled out The End in Spike's colors. They truly were The Three Caballeros.
