Alright, let's start with this: Long ago, civilization lived in complete peace and harmony, Equestrians and Dragons coexisted, putting aside their differences.
But the war would come a few years later, the differences between the two races arose again, leading everything to ruin, leaving half the world in dunes and deserts, since then the years became eternal, resources were scarce and more and more they began to separate more.
So bands were created there: small groups of people trying to survive the world they were thrown into. But one day, someone did not want his life to be miserable, to have no emotion after the war.

A road is seen next to an abandoned, useless power grid, until a modified car passes by at top speed, taking with it the sand and some discarded billboards.

Someone did not want life to be boring and repetitive, this person, or rather, this Unicorn, would create a powerful empire.
Soon more modified cars are seen chasing the first, including a truck. The car from the beginning turns off the road and continues onto a dirt road, the driver activates a button, which activates a turret that starts shooting at the other cars.
One of them loses control and capsizes, smashing itself as it spins over and over.
Inspired by the movies: Dead Race 2000 and Mad Max.
This unknown Unicorn began bringing together adrenaline junkies, creating a place where everyone could risk everything and win or lose, drawing people into something that was more than just a fire challenge.
The driver continues trying to get rid of his pursuers, who also start activating their weapons and going faster to catch up with him, starting a pitched battle between racers, trying to find out who can last the longest before one of them loses.
He had created something that would end the endless, lonely years of the new world, creating something new, something better for all those who sought freedom from the repetitive and boring life. He was praised by some who saw him as... A King, the King of extreme adrenaline.
We return to the fighters who do not surrender to their unreachable prey, the runner goes through some rock formations, throwing bombs at them and causing landslides, until he throws a bomb at the truck, destroying it and eliminating everyone.
This person created the craziest races of all time: R.A.C.E
The driver returns to the road and continues on his way until day turns to night and the sun sets, giving way to a full moon. He stops shortly after in a ruined, sand-covered city, where several lights can be seen, following them until he meets several cars at a starting line.
"... Good evening, runners, welcome to a qualifier to see who is eligible to enter R.A.C.E", yes, since what the presenter named was created, these qualifiers were made to see who enters and who dies trying: "Alright, this is simple, you have to do 3 complete turns, the turns are marked and you can only use your weapons when you consider it necessary".
They all get into position, waiting for him to signal for the start, then he pulls out a revolver and fires, giving the signal and getting everyone forward, rounding the first corner and crashing to victory, some jumping over the sand mounds and others are already turning on their weapons, shooting at the others.
Our protagonist of the moment manages to pass almost everyone, taking care of the weapons that point against his tires. They turn the last 3 corners and entering the second lap, where everyone gets more aggressive, although some walls also go up, surprising everyone.
"Did I forget to mention that each lap gets harder? Better prepare yourselves".
They keep running while dodging the rising walls and continuing to take each other out, the protagonist shoots into the wheel of one of his opponents, causing him to lose control and crash into another runner, killing both of them in the process.
They round the last bend and one of them, who is in a large truck, crashes into another and sends it flying until it collides with a bridge pillar, exploding. Now there are 5 competitors left and they reach the third lap, where everything starts to explode, buildings fall and spiked bars appear, making the track impossible.
"This qualifying is not easy, to enter the big races it is necessary to see who is fit to survive in this new empire that has been created. Welcome to the apocalypse".
Of the 5 participants, 4 remained, of the 4, 3 participants still survive, the protagonist is still standing after all, resisting the impossible race he is living. In that, a building collapses and he goes through it, dodging the columns and falling rubble until he breaks a window on the other side.
Both 3 try to reach the third corner, but another building collapses, causing them to turn left to try to go around it, which they do well, but the third driver overturns and flips, leaving the wheels up, leaving only 2 drivers on the track, who start to crash to get the other out. They see the last corner, but a collision between the two makes them both lose control, they quickly start and turn, seeing the finish line in front of them.
"Nah, maybe they weren't ready. Time to go back", said and done, he walks behind a house, seeing his car and starting, leaving the place towards the great and vast desert where everyone lives now.
Although soon more adventures will be lived on the roads and dunes of the new world, someone who is capable of surviving the most dangerous and crazy of these races, only a boy will be able to win the races that now all participate, that everyone plays for a prize that anyone could dream of who did not want the world to go to the desert apocalypse.

New day, new opportunities for the new world, in a part of the great desert, inside an abandoned barn, sits a Dragon with deep purple scales, light springbud gray underbelly, light lime green fins and moderately harlequin sharp beaks.
He begins to wake up with a moment of light that hits his face, beginning to open his moderate pistachio-colored eyes. He gets up from his bed and begins to dress in a black T-shirt along with a brown leather jacket, blue jeans and brown boots. This is Spike Drake, known to many as "Hazzard Boy".
"Very good, new day to run and survive", said the young Dragon leaving his room.
On the other side, the barn is reinforced to withstand sandstorms and the passage of time, it is well equipped, it has a kitchen, a living room and a garage on the other side.
He goes to the kitchen and lights a stove with her fire, since he doesn't have gas to turn things on, he puts a frying pan and some eggs, then he heats the water and makes coffee.
"I think today is the day to go to the small community", he said to himself as he waited for the water to heat up.
After that, the coffee is served and he begins to eat breakfast in complete silence, only accompanied by the whispers of the winds and the murmurs of the wood around him. Later he begins to organize everything and go to the garage, turning on the lights and finding a General Lee modified for off-road.
He opens the door and starts his car, getting out and starting to run through the desert and goes towards the small community he mentioned, for the meantime, he turns on the radio, listening to the same announcer as always.
"Good morning, Ponys and Dragons, this is Crash FM, this is your favorite announcer: Discord, today the Pegasi confirmed sandstorms that will devastate all those who are not well sheltered and sand tornadoes that will throw giant rocks at you, haha".
"Hehehe, that Discord always in a good mood", he chuckled while looking at a group of houses in the middle of nowhere.
They were built 5 years ago, since then it has been a meeting point to buy food, weapons or scrap metal for cars.
He parks and gets out, walking and seeing the different houses, clubs and bars that the place offers, he only approaches a food stall and is greeted by a 17 years old Pony with bright red hair.
"Good morning, Mr. Runner. What's on offer?" Asked the young woman.
"Please, don't tell me sir, I'm barely 20 years old. Regarding what's offered to me, I'd like some apple pies and those fritters too", he asked the girl, who begins to put the order in a bag.
"Are you a R.A.C.E runner?" This question caught the Dragon off guard, wondering how she knew: "Please, I know a runner when I see one".
"Nice girl, hehe. Yes, I'm a racer for R.A.C.E but I haven't gone yet", he replied as he paid her and took the bag.
"Well, the races will start soon, but there are also small events for those who want a more... Normal experience", she recommended before leaving.
"Thank you. What is your name?" Question that was quickly answered: "Applebloom Daniels, but they know me by a nickname: The Shield", she replied with a smile.
"I'm Spike Drake, known as: Hazzard Boy", he told her his name and his nickname, surely he would meet her later.
Spike gets back in his car and puts away what he bought to go to a butcher shop and buy some meat and then straight home, but on the way, an armed van, truck and convertible follow him.
He just rolls his eyes and smiles showing his sharp fangs and quickly advances, making the others also advance, soon the truck activates a turret in the trunk and starts shooting, but the Dragon zigzags, escaping from the bullets. Soon everyone looks ahead and sees the sandstorm along with some tornadoes.
He just keeps going, getting into the eye of the storm, the truck pulls in front of him, the convertible car to the right and the van to the left, the young Dragon waits for the right moment and... He hits the parking brake, causing them to crash.
The tornadoes do their thing and drag the black truck, causing it to fly and fall upside down, almost crushing all 3 of them, but they are saved and continue. Already wanting this to be over, he runs into a tornado and on cue, hits the parking brake and skids left, causing the truck to be sucked up and thrown away, goes straight back and goes through 2 tornadoes in 6th gear, his last pursuer wasn't so lucky.
"Haha! That was fun, well, maybe 3 racers just died but what", he said as he made his way out of the storm and home safely, going into his garage and turning off the engine.
He walks out with the bags and leaves them in his fridge, grabbing a bottle of apple cider on the way and turning on a small radio as he stretches out on his couch.
"Okay, here we are back, drones have caught a chase between an orange Dodge Charger and 3 armored vehicles, The Dukes Of Hazzard is definitely here to stay with the help of this General Lee driver".
"Wow, I'm famous, hehe", he said to himself with a laugh, watching the sun go down to give way to the moon and the starry night, thus ending today.
