Lasserby The ForceChaptersIt's all overYou don't fall to far from the treeA rock in a hard placeI thought you were my friends..EpilogueIt's all overTwilight Sparkle, ruler of Equestria, occupied herself with important matters of governance from her throne. However, one day she heard rumors of an unusual and powerful mirror being passed from auction to auction. Intrigued and curious, Twilight decided to make acquiring said mirror her top priority. Bidding against other potential buyers, she eventually managed to win the auction and eagerly awaited the mirror's delivery. However, rumors of said mirror's possible curse began to cloud her curiosity, especially after hearing of the deaths and destruction it has allegedly caused to previous owners. But regardless of these grim tales, Twilight eagerly awaited the arrival of this mysterious mirror. Twilight continued to sit on her throne thoughts of the mysterious mirror danced in her head. She knew she had made the right call to acquire the mirror, knowing its supposed properties and not putting much stock in its supposed curse. She was intrigued to see how it would work and if it truly would enhance her beauty. She was also curious to see what other magical properties it possessed, perhaps it could prove useful in her rule. With a slight smile, Twilight waited for the delivery. Twilight Sparkle continued to occupy her time with her royal duties as she awaited for the mysterious mirror to arrive at her castle. Her thoughts continued to revolve around the object and its alleged properties, imagining how she would place it throughout the castle. In the meantime, she took note of the beautiful view from her throne, as it provided a great vantage point for monitoring the kingdom's welfare and wellbeing. As Twlight continued to ponder on this mysterious mirror, she was suddenly informed that the delivery had arrived at the castle gates. Twilight Sparkle, had requested one of her guards to go and fetch the package that had arrived outside. However, at that moment, her five friends and her friend as well top advisor Spike entered, her five friendshaving been granted permission to visit her days earlier. They bowed deeply as they entered, a gesture of respect for her position. Spike, in particular, had been running a peace talk with the zebras before coming here. Twilight stood up from her throne and waved to her friends, telling them to relax as she greeted them. The guard she had sent to fetch the package returned, explaining to her friends the rumors surrounding the mirror. With everyone gathered together in the throne room, the group eagerly opened the package to reveal a mirror. As twilight unwrapped the box and examined the mirror, Twilight could see her friends' faces light up with wonder and excitement. They were all certain that this would be an incredible addition to the castle, and Twilight was eager to see how it would look once it was installed in her bedroom. The mirror had begun to influence Twilight Sparkle and her judgment in subtle ways, without anyone being aware of it. The mirror, apparently, was already beginning to show signs of its supernatural traits without anybody's knowledge. Twilight's friends continued to argue about the wisdom of installing the mirror, but Twilight remained firm in her decision and was determined to see its properties for herself. As the days passed, the mirror in her bedroom began to gradually affect her, without her friends realizing. The mirror's influence continued to increase, its effects becoming more noticeable to her, yet still unseen by her friends. But as fate would have it, things were about to take a sudden turn. As time passed in Equestria, Princess Twilight Sparkle, ruler of the kingdom, was still determined to install the mysterious mirror in her bedroom. However, the mirror had slowly begun to take its toll on the alicorn, its influence becoming more and more noticeable to her, yet still unseen by her friends. But fate had other plans in store for Twilight. One fateful day, she decided to gaze into the mirror herself in the privacy of her own room. As her reflection appeared in the mirror, a strange and otherworldly glow filled the mirror, the alicorn unaware of the impending doom that would soon follow. Twilight's heart pounded in her chest, the sound of whispers filling her ears and driving her mad. She felt a pull towards the mirror, calling to her and urging her to do something terrible. The voice was telling her to kill those closest to her, starting with her faithful assistant Spike. With his close proximity, the deed would be done quickly and without suspicion. However, Spike was not alone in the castle and the other five friends of Twilight were in Ponyville, miles away. As Twilight struggled to fight against the voice's evil command, the alicorn's madness grew, pushing her to the edge of reason. The voices had finally won, taking over Twilight's mind and body, turning the alicorn into a emotionless zombie. With a look of pure dread and emptiness on her face, she wandered the halls, her eyes locked on Spike's room. With the mirror's twisted influence driving her, she entered the room, ready to do the unthinkable. Spike, the little dragon who has been a loyal assistant to Twilight, slept peacefully in his room, unaware that he was about to awaken to a fate so gruesome it could not be fathomed. Twilight, with the voices still whispering to her and driving her mad, entered the room, determined to follow through with the terrible task she had been tasked with. She began to surround Spike's throat with a powerful magical aura, choking the life out of the young dragon. Twilight choked the life out of Spike with a terrifying and violent force. However, as the young dragon fought for his life against the alicorn's unstoppable magic, he suddenly heard another voice, drowning out the whispers from the cursed mirror. Spike heard a voice, one that seemed to fill him with courage and strength to keep fighting. With courage, Spike fought against Twilight's magical assault, determined to survive. Twilight not continuing this game, ripped his head from his body with so much force she sent the head of spike to hit the ceiling and fall to the floor, spike's body slumped against the ground, blood pouring out the gaping neck wound. Followed by followed dripping from spikes head onto the bedroom floor staining it with crimsion. Twilight's horror and self-loathing grew even more, as she looked down at the gruesome scene before her. It was too late, the voices had won, and now Spike had paid the ultimate price. Twilight's gaze went to the mirror, the object that started this madness. Its influence and control were undeniable. But now, it had taken everything from her, and she had nobody left. The tears ran down her face as she collapsed to the floor in agony, filled with an unbearable guilt and remorse that would haunt her for the rest of her life. The whispers in Twilight's head were clear, she had to bring her friends back to the castle with the mirror in front of them. They were to see the mirror's power, just like she had, or they would not understand. They had to know the truth, whatever it may be. And no matter what happened, Twilight had to obey the whispers' instructions. You don't fall to far from the treeApplejack had been putting Applebloom to sleep in their shared room, the shadows of the night casting the room in a darkness that was becoming increasingly unfamiliar. As usual, the darkness brought with it a sudden sense of unease, an unease that quickly turned to trepidation as Applejack's ears caught the sound of a crashing noise coming from somewhere outside. Shaking off the nerves, Applejack ran down the stairs, exiting the safety of the house and into the night's cool embrace. There, she saw the barn, once the sturdy and reliable heart of Sweet Apple Acres, now lay falling apart. Planks of wood were scattered across the ground, having been reduced to little more than splinters of their former glory as they now littered the floor like teeth lost during a tumble. Bits of rubble and debris lay scattered around the area, their origins and their connection to the destruction of this once-proud barn a mystery. Applejack stepped cautiously towards the barn, curiosity warring against her as she went into the darkness. The sound of wooden planks creaking and groaning filled the night, growing louder as she reached the threshold of the barn. Peering into the darkness, Applejack's eyes desperately searched the shadows for movement or any sign of life. To her dismay, the darkness and shadow played tricks on her eyes, and suddenly, it was as if the barn collapsed in on itself, Applejack's eyes wide and her mind reeling as the wreckage lay in front of her. Who or what had caused this. As the last vestiges of daylight began to recede, the faint light from the full moon was all that illuminated Applejack's predicament underneath the collapsed barn. She struggled and pushed and pulled in a desperate attempt to free herself, but the weight of the wreckage was too great. Applejack's ears caught a sound, maniacal laughter, and Applejack recognized the voice as Twilight's. Twilight was known for her good nature and sunny disposition, so what was happening here Applejack lay trapped under the rubble, unable to move as she took in the sight of Twilight standing before her, the glow from her magic illuminating the barn and casting dark shadows on the wreckage that covered her body. Applejack struggled to free herself but found that the rubble was too heavy and had shifted too much to allow her an easy escape. As she lay there helplessly, she called out to Twilight, hoping beyond hope that her friend would help rescue her from this terrifying situation. "Twilight, please help me! Ah ain't gonna make it if you don't help me out here!" But once again, it was just the quiet and the darkness. "Applejack's cries and pleas for help fell on deaf ears as Twilight approached, her eyes full of madness, her lips curled in a twisted smile of a pony who had completely lost her marbles. The blood covering Twilight's coat and mane made Applejack's heart skip a beat, as she felt the darkness closing in, knowing that if she didn't get out of this situation soon, it would spell the end for her. However, before Applejack could do anything more, Twilight's hoof knocked her lights out, Applejack falling unconscious into the darkness as Twilight's evil laugh echoed throughout the barn. _____________ Applejack's slowly adjusted to the darkness surrounding her as her consciousness slowly returned to her, the dull ache of her wounded eye and face not doing much to help her make sense of the situation due to it being bruised, and her eye being swollen shut with dry blood on her eye from her eyelid being split open. Hearing a voice in the darkness, she jumped, the voice having a strange familiarity to it. "Oh Applejack!" the voice called out, and it was then that Applejack's eyes fell upon the object that had been thrown at her. In one instant, all sense of calm and comfort were swept away as the head of her beloved friend Spike lay at her hooves. "Applejack was stunned as she looked down at the lifeless head of her beloved friend Spike, fear and anger fueling her frantic search for an answer to the madness that had befallen this evening. However, her anger was cut short as Twilight approached, her horn pointed menacingly towards Applejack's neck. "shhh the whispers told me to. Just look to the mirror," Twilight said, her voice twisted by the madness that had consumed her. Applejack felt her life fading as she was pointed towards a mirror, and as she lay dying on the floor in a pool of her own blood, she could Applejack's mind and body were flooded with grief and rage as she tried to make sense of the head of her beloved friend Spike at her hooves. As she screamed, Twilight approached her once again, this time with deadly intent. "Twi, why did you do this?" Applejack asked between sobs, wanting answers but knowing deep down that she would never get them. In an instant, Twilight stabbed her through the throat with her horn, as the whispers once again took over her psyche. "Shh," Twilight said calmly, her eyes glazed and her horn still smoking. "The whispers told me to. Applejack's eyes filled with terror as she stared into the reflection on the mirror in front of her, only to find Spike's eyes glowing orange, staring at her from the corner. He sat trapped in the mirror, his soul corrupted to serve the whispers, as he stared and spoke nothing. Applejack slowly reached towards the mirror, her eyes transfixed by Spike's lifeless gaze. As the last of her consciousness drifted away, the whispers spoke in her mind, as the shadow moved closer and closer in the reflected image of the mirror. Twilight, still proud of herself, spoke with the shadowy Spike who uncasted the shadow and looked like spike, his orange eyes still bright and haunting in the darkness. Applejack stood by her side, her eyes now reflecting the same demonic orange glow. Once again influenced by Spike's twisted words and corrupt soul, Twilight sat down to write the letters, telling her friends that it was an emergency. After finishing the letters, she gave them to the guard to deliver via mail pony. They would surely arrive in town by tomorrow, and Twilight's plans would be well under way. A rock in a hard placeRainbow Dash and Rarity met at the train station, both feeling anxious as they waited for Twilight's urgent summons. The train station was bustling with activity as ponies from all across Equestria made their way through. Rainbow Dash tapped her hoof nervously, feeling restless as she waited for Rarity to arrive. Finally, her friend strolled through the doors and the two shared a nervous chuckle as they recognized how similar their feelings were. As they talked about their plans to meet with Twilight, the train rolled into the station and the two dashed for the doors. The letter from Twilight seemed to have everyone wondering what was so urgent that it required the immediate attendance of two of their closest friends. Rainbow Dash and Rarity spent the entire day in a whirlwind of gossip, trying to come up with a reason why they would be summoned to the castle, but nothing seemed to really fit. As they wondered what could be so urgent, they were too distracted to notice that their other friends seemed to be unusually absent as well. This only added to the mystery and the suspense leading up to their impending meeting with Twilight. Rainbow Dash and Rarity were relieved to find Pinkie and Fluttershy at the train station, but they were puzzled by the absence of Applejack. Before they could ask about her whereabouts, a guard approached them and informed them that he had been ordered to escort them to the castle. This only added to the mystery surrounding their summons and heightened the suspense of the situation. There was clearly something very important happening at the castle, and they had no idea what it could be. Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie all arrived at the Canterlot Castle, still awestruck by the beauty and majesty of the magical location. It was always so fascinating to see the inner workings of the castle and explore the many wonders that it held. The four ponies relished every opportunity to visit the castle, grateful for the chance to see it up close and learn more about its rich history. The experience never failed to leave them in awe, and their admiration for Twilight and her leadership only grew. As Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie stepped through the gates of the Canterlot Castle, Twilight herself greeted them. The princess appeared clean and looked entirely normal, with her eyes a natural size and nothing that indicated she was in any form of distress or danger. She truly looked like a very royal and elegant princess, someone worthy of the respect and admiration that her subjects gave her. This only added to the mystery of why the four ponies had been summoned to the castle so urgently. Was there really a problem that required their assistance, or was it something else? Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie listened intently as Twilight greeted them and invited them into the castle. She made it clear that the reason for their summons was something very important that the ponies need to hear behind closed doors, as she insisted on speaking with them in private. The four ponies were curious as to what issue could be so sensitive that it required such secrecy, and they followed Twilight calmly into the castle. Once inside, they eagerly awaited to hear what Twilight had to tell them. As Twilight led the four ponies through the castle, they exchanged looks of worry when she took them to the treasure room. Having experienced previous encounters with cursed mirrors, they were wary of what they might find inside. In fact, the instant they set foot in the room, they felt a wave of nausea and a sense that something was not right. They all could swear they caught a glimpse of orange eyes staring back at them through the mirror. These strange sensations only added to their anxiety and anticipation of what was to come next. Suddenly, the four ponies felt lightheaded and dizzy, and before they knew it, they were unconscious on the floor. They had no idea what had happened, but they were sure something was wrong. Twilight appeared above them, looking down on her unconscious friends with concern. What had happened to them? Would they wake up, or had something terrible taken them away from her forever? Twilight's heart was racing as she considered the possibilities, and she desperately hoped that her friends would wake up and everything would return to normal. As Twilight stood over her unconscious friends, the insidious whispers of the corrupt mirror spoke to her again, urging her to take action. The shadow figure of Applejack appeared and instructed her to show her friends the mirror's power. At that moment, Twilight's eyes glazed over, as if she were entering a trance. She was ready to listen to the whispers, ready to embrace the darkness within and submit to the mirror's power. As the four ponies slowly regained their senses, the nausea began to subside. Their perception of reality was still altered by the corruption of the mirror, however, and they couldn't see Applejack or Spike's decayed bodies. The four ponies decided to split up to search for Twilight, with Pinkie agreeing to stay behind in the treasure room. As the three remaining ponies took off to find their friend, they had no idea what horrors they would encounter next, or what the corrupt mirror had planned for them. Pinkie Pie felt an uneasy feeling in her stomach, as if something were wrong but she couldn't quite put her hoof on it. Her senses were working in overdrive as the spirit of Applejack corrupted by the evil mirror did its best to manipulate Pinkie into a negative state of mind. As Pinkie continued to search the treasure room, the corrupt voice in her head warned Pinkie to turn away from the bodies of Spike and Applejack, which were still rotting on the floor. The mirror was trying to prevent Pinkie from discovering the horrifying truth. The mirror succeeded in using Pinkie's emotions against her, breaking her down and bringing out her insane and depressed alter ego, Pinkamena Diane Pie. Using the mirror's power to twist Pinkie's senses and alter her feelings, the evil mirror began to manipulate Pinkie into believing that her friends were against her. The mirror lied to Pinkie and convinced her that her friends were not actually her friends, and that they were imposters out to hurt her. It was a dark and dangerous path that the mirror was leading Pinkie down. I thought you were my friends..Pinkamena Diane Pie wiped away a tear as the weight of the cursed mirror's influence began to set in. Her poofy hair now hung loose against her face as she was overcome by an overwhelming sense of sadness and loss. She knew her friends, whom she had grown to love throughout her journey, were out there somewhere, and she desperately wanted to spend one final moment with them before killing them. Rainbow Dash roamed the castle hallways alone, a familiar sight to the guards stationed in that area. She nodded confidently to the guards as she passed, unhindered by their silent acknowledgement. Her steps echoed off the cold stone walls of the vast throne room, but sadly, the room was empty, lacking even the presence of Twilight Sparkle. She sighed and turned to continue her search, hoping to find her friend somewhere else in the castle. Rainbow Dash bellowed, "Twilight! Where the hell are you? Come out, okay? I swear to Celestia, I'll noogie you if you don't show yourself!" Despite her fear, she admired herself for her strength and resolve. She had to find Twilight, no matter what. Rainbow Dash pressed on with her search, determined to find Twilight, no matter how long it took her. She knew that her friend was in trouble, and she was worried about what was happening to her. Despite the fact that the castle was full of shadows and ominous secrets, Rainbow Dash would not give up. She was brave and loyal, willing to risk her life to save her friend. As Rainbow Dash continued through the castle, she heard a giggle, followed by a loud crash and a gurgling wet screaming sound, like someone was choking on their blood. Taken aback, Rainbow Dash immediately froze, unsure of what to do. She stared in the direction of the screams, her heart pounding in her chest as a chill ran down her spine. She could feel her adrenaline pumping through her veins, knowing that something was very wrong and she needed to act quickly. As Fluttershy continued to wander, she stayed close to Rarity's side, too scared to walk alone in the dark. She spoke up, asking Rarity what she thought about the situation. "I'm sure Twilight will be just fine, Fluttershy." Rarity replied confidently. "She's strong and smart, she'll be able to take care of herself." As Rarity spoke, Fluttershy tried to calm her own nerves. She nodded, hoping Rarity was right, even though the dark hallways still scared her. She gripped Rarity tighter, thankful to be by her side. As Fluttershy and Rarity continued walking, they spotted a pink shape in the darkness. Rarity illuminated the surroundings with her horn, helping them get a better view of the scene. As they got closer, they realized it was Pinkie Pie, who was standing turned away from them. "Pinkie? Dear, is that you?" Rarity called out softly. But Pinkie did not respond, she was standing still and silent. A sense of unease washed over Rarity as she got closer to Pinkie, and before she could react, she felt herself fall to the ground with something loud and heavy. But in her fall, she noticed that her neck was now covered in blood, as she began choking and crying. She managed to yell out a warning to Fluttershy, "Pinkie! She..." But it was cutoff with a loud and heavy gasp. Fluttershy looked at Pinkie in horror as she came to realize that Rarity had been stabbed, her neck gushing bloody from the shard of sharp bone Pinkamena held in her hoof. Fluttershy was frozen in fear as she watched Pinkie drag Rarity away and out of sight. She let out a breath and sank to her haunches, her body shaking uncontrollably as she was unable to comprehend what she had just witnessed. The smell of vomit filled the air, as Fluttershy vomited up her lunch. She was still in shock, unable to wrap her head around the horrific scene that she had just seen with her own eyes. Rainbow Dash hurried down the hallway and came across the bloody scene. She landed, eyes fixed on the blood-covered ground and the hoof laying on the floor. She felt her stomach churn, but she was determined to continue forward, to find the source of who the hoof belonged to. She called out to Fluttershy, hoping to find her friend alive and well, but Fluttershy was unresponsive and in a state of shock. Rainbow Dash ran to her side, trying to do everything she could to bring Fluttershy out of her dazed state. Rainbow Dash flew off to get a guard, leaving Fluttershy in the hallway, shaking and crying. As she flew off, she heard Fluttershy yell out a warning, followed by a snapping sound. She flew back to Fluttershy's side faster than before, fearing the worst had happened. She landed down on her hooves to find a horrifying scene in front of her. Fluttershy was laying on the floor, a look of horror and shock on her face. Around her were several broken pieces of a mirror. Something had happened in her absence, something tcouldn't. Pinkie came out of the darkness, carrying Rarity's body. Behind her, Twilight Sparkle emerged from the shadows of another hallway, darkness surrounding her as well. Together, they laid Rarity in front of the mirror Pinkie had brought with her, the same cursed mirror they had been warned about earlier. Pinkie began speaking in a sad, yet joyful tone. "Let's have one final party! I love you guys so so much!" It was as if she wanted to believe in this moment, but something had become off. Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash were held down by Pinkie and Twilight, unable to move or escape. The scene before Fluttershy was horrific. Rarity was clinging to life, but she died in front of the mirror, becoming a part of it. The other victims of the mirror, with their glowing orange eyes, surrounded the ponies. Fluttershy watched in horror as Twilight Sparkle twisted Rainbow Dash's body parts, snapping her bones and making it as painful as possible for her. Rainbow Dash shouted at Fluttershy not to look, but Fluttershy was unable to resist. Finally, Rainbow Dash's head was snapped 360 and she had gone limp. At a crucial moment, the guards came rushing in and were able to subdue both Twilight and Pinkie in time. They were unaware of what to do with Twilight, since she was the princess of Equestria. However, Celestia had ordered that the princesses would be held to the same accountability and law as a normal citizen breaking the law. Fluttershy was rescued by the guards and removed from the scene. After the trauma she had endured, Fluttershy was left deeply scarred from the event. She would need time to heal both physically and mentally. Fluttershy was left feeling devastated after losing not only her friends, but also a sense of security and trust. She couldn't imagine how she would ever recover from her trauma. Her childhood friend Rainbow Dash had now been taken from her, along with all of the other victims of the mirror. The world around her had suddenly become a dangerous and uncertain place, and she was left wondering how she could rebuild her life after this devastating event. Author's Note Look out for the upcoming epilogue, everyone! I'll be sharing it in about 3 days' time. You know what? Writing this story was super fun, so thanks to everyone who joined in to read it. I had this concept sitting in my mind for a while and I didn't know how to execute it perfectly for quite some time. Thank goodness I managed to figure it out after about 4 or 5 years, and I'm so happy that you all loved the story. I too love MLP and I wanted to create something that would cross over with the iconic horror flick, Lasser glass. EpilogueSure thing! Here's a revised and more detailed version of your story: Several months had past since the notorious Canterlot Murders, and the guards who prosecuted Pinkie Pie and Twilight Sparkle were now facing their own trial. Fluttershy, though suspected and questioned, was ultimately left out of the proceedings. In the end, Pinkie and Twilight were deemed guilty and sentenced to be imprisoned in the statue state, a treatment not unlike what Discord faced some time ago. This left the castle in a state of confusion and disarray. It took a long time to clean up the blood and move Twilight's belongings to the castle's lower basement. Regardless, once the initial shock wore off, life in the castle moved on as best as it could. The incident became known as "The Canterlot Murders" and was soon the talk of not just Equestria, but the entire world. Twilight and Pinkie's sentences turned out to be much longer than expected, lasting for over hundreds of years. Celestia and Luna were called back to Equestria to retake their roles as princesses, only to find that the ponies representing the elements besides Fluttershy were gone. Celestia felt deeply guilt-stricken over her part in the decision to prosecute the two ponies, and Luna was heartbroken by her sister's sadness. They tried to reach out to Fluttershy multiple times, but alas, their efforts were in vain. With the original ponies who represented the elements gone, Celestia set out to find their replacements. After some considerable time and effort, she eventually succeeded in finding ponies who shared the same traits as the original representatives. With their help, Celestia hoped that this second time around would prove to be more successful. And so Fluttershy spent the rest of her days alone. After moving into the Everfree Forest, she became a hermit, never to be seen again by the ponies of Equestria. Rumors circulated that sometimes a blurred figure could be spotted in the forest's depths, but this was never confirmed. Fluttershy's mind declined in her later years, eventually falling into insanity. As time progressed, the rumors of her faded into little more than scary stories to tell foals by the fire. And so the talk and memories of the previous element bearers slowly faded with the passing of time. Centuries passed, and still Celestia and Luna remained in solitude, having appointed Starlight Glimmer as the new ruler of Equestria. As Twilight's student, Glimmer was also overcome with grief over Twilight, who had taught her the power of friendship. Nothing in Equestria was ever the same for any of Twilight's former friends, as they were all stricken with sadness at the loss of her presence. Indeed, Starlight Glimmer was in disbelief over Twilight Sparkle's actions. In her eyes, Twilight was a kindhearted pony who always upheld the power of friendship. The thought that she could have murdered her closest friends was too difficult for Starlight to process. Starlight decided to confide the sad news to her friend Sunset Shimmer, knowing that they could console and comfort each other. Sunset, upon learning this, was also heartbroken. She took the initiative and came back to Equestria to console Starlight and help her through the grief and the painful memory of Twilight's crimes. Neither Starlight nor Sunset could understand how Twilight could have snapped so badly and committed such atrocious acts. As for Twilight and Pinkie in the royal garden, their remaining friends would take their time to come and visit them, ensuring that they would be kept in mint condition. After all, they wanted to make sure that their two imprisoned friends were doing well and not left in squalor or neglect. Of course, the occasional visitors were not enough to fully heal the broken hearts of the imprisoned element bearers. Over time, Twilight and Pinkie grew increasingly bitter and resentful towards being treated as living statues, their anger fueling their hatred for the outside world. Even though their friends visited from time to time, it wasn't enough to cure their misery, and eventually, the pair completely shut themselves off from the outside world, becoming more and more reclusive as time passed. During their first hundred years of imprisonment, Twilight and Pinkie were overcome with intense self-reflection. Their actions had sickened them and they were unable to do anything but think about the horrible mistake they had made. Their guilt and anguish slowly drove them to the brink of madness, until eventually they retreated even further into their own minds and became more and more reclusive. After their long and painful sentence, Twilight and Pinkie were finally released. Their reunion with Starlight was full of tension and apprehension. Both Twilight and Pinkie had remained silent, their minds still in a state of recovery and reflection. Starlight had also brought the guards along to protect herself, prepared to take action if necessary. It was clear that the journey back to normalcy would be a slow and carefully supervised process, as both of their senses required re-training in friendship and trust. Applejack was buried amongst the other members of the Apple family, their presence slowly fading from Ponyville's collective consciousness. Rainbow Dash was honored and celebrated by her former Wonderbolts team members, as she was the only remaining member from that group. Rarity was laid to rest, and her family also gradually disappeared from the memories of the ponies who had known her. Lastly, Spike was remembered fondly by those still alive. He was buried in Canterlot. Among Twilight's confiscated possessions, there was one item that was never confirmed to have been recovered. It was the mystical laser mirror she had always used for communication. Its whereabouts were unknown, and it seemed to have gone missing from Equestria. Some believed that it was still out there, perhaps even one of the mirror portals owned by the individual who was currently reading this text. Whatever its location or destiny, one thing was certain: the mirror had the power to kill, and was bound to leave more victims in its wake. The end!!
It's all overTwilight Sparkle, ruler of Equestria, occupied herself with important matters of governance from her throne.
The end!!
