"I'll get it!” screamed a loud pegasus with a loin's paw and an eagle's claw. "Oh hi Derpy what's up?” she said to the blonde wall-eyed gray pegasus at the door. "Hi Missy is your mama home?" said Derpy. "Yeah I'll go get her!" Missy ran to her parents' bed room as quick as she could. "Mommy Derpy is at the door!" A mint green pegasus sat up in bed with a tired look on her face. "Missy I told you not to call her that." she said. "Sorry mommy, but she doesn't mind." With a sigh she unwillingly got out of bed. She walked to the door to meet the mail pony. "Hello Ditzy, you have mail for me?" "Hi SkyMint, and yes, a letter from Princess Celsetia." Derpy gave SkyMint the letter and flew off to her next stop. "Ning wake up!" SkyMint yelled to her husband. Ning, a blue draconequus with an orange mane came into the living room to see what the fuss was all about. "What is it Minty?" he asked his wife. SkyMint gave the letter to him to read aloud, "Dear SkyMint and family, It's been awhile since I have talked to you all and I was hoping you would like to come to Canterlot Castle for a visit. Princess Celestia" "Are we gonna go mommy?" a very excited Missy asked. "Well I guess we could, we're not doing anything today." replied SkyMint. "Yay!!!" screamed the happy filly. She ran to her brother's room and jumped up and down on his bed waking the minty green draconequus pony. "Missy what are you doing?!" "We're going to Canterlot Castle Mackenzie!!" …… After what seemed like forever the family finally got to Canterlot. While walking to the castle, every few minutes Missy would point out something she found strange, often pointing out 'How odd the Canterlot ponies acted' causing SkyMint and Ning to have to apologize to the fancy Canterlot ponies. "Look it's the castle Daddy!" said Missy when the castle came into sight, "Don't you think it would be fun to live there?" "I don't think it would be you could get lost in a big place like that." said Mackenzie. When they got to the castle gates the guards greeted them and let them enter but rather than just walking in Missy dragged Mackenzie over to ask the Royal Guards a million questions. "Did you know our Grandpa is a Royal Guard? Do you stand out here in the hot sun all day? Is that armor heavy? What do you get paid? What are your names?" "Missy we need to go mom and dad are leaving.” Mackenzie dragged his crazy and curious sister away from the poor guards, much to their relief. When Missy and Mackenzie finally caught up to their parents they were already talking to the princess. In the presence of Princess Celestia normally chatty Missy was as quiet as mouse. "Hello Missy and Mackenzie, it's been awhile since I have seen you two." said the princess. "Hi Princess." was all an amazed Missy could say. She knew that she had meet the princess when she was little but now that she was older she released that this was the pony who brought the day and who had protected Equestria for who knows how many years. Mackenzie's reaction was very similar to his sister's. "Don't be shy kids." the princess smiled at them and led the family to the dining hall. After about half an hour Missy was back to her old self asking millions of questions, all of which Princess Celestia was happy to answer. Mackenzie though was oddly quiet, quieter than usual and when Missy and Ning went with the princess to go see something Missy had asked about SkyMint asked, "Mackenzie what's wrong sweet heart? You've hardly said a word all day." "I don't know… I just feel weird that's all." "Honey if you had told us we wouldn't have come today." "No not that kind of weird, its… it’s like I have a feeling that something is…" "Mackenzie!" said a happy bouncing Missy, "Come look at the garden it's so cool!" …… "We are going to have dinner with the princesses are you two sure you'll be ok by yourselves?" asked a worried SkyMint. "Yes mommy we'll be fine." replied Missy. "Ok but you have to promise to STAY here. Do you understand me?" Ning looked at Missy, knowing she was already planning to explore the castle. "Yes Daddy I promise." From where Mackenzie was standing he could see Missy was crossing her fingers on her lion paw hidden behind her leg. When their parents left Missy started smiling. "Mackenzie I'm hungry can I have some cotton candy?" "Fine but you know mom doesn't like me to make it like this." Mackenzie clapped his hooves and out of thin air a small cloud of cotton candy appeared which Missy grabbed and gobbled up. "Yummy, how do you do that anyway?" "I dunno… I wish I knew why mom doesn't let me make it." Missy just shrugged and look out the door to be sure nopony was there. "It's clear come on Mackenzie!" "Why do we always have to do what mom and dad tell us NOT to do?" Missy ignored him knowing that ether way he would follow her. … They walked down countless hallways and passages. Soon they reached the darkest hall so far. It was so dark you could hardly see past your nose. It was cold and very deep under the castle. "Missy, we'll get lost down here we need to go!" "Don't be a baby Mackenzie! Besides look there's a torch!" Missy grabbed the torch and continued flying, ignoring her nervous brother. They soon came to a door. A metal door with a tiny window. Both kids stopped when they saw it. Even Missy was still for a while. But that didn't last long. She flew up to the window and tried to peek through. "It's too dark in there to see... Look a door handle!" She gave Mackenzie the torch and grabbed the handle and yanked! "It's Stuck!" "Missy! Stop we can't go in there!!" Missy pulled and pulled until finally the door flew open and threw the two back, putting out the torch. It was once again to dark to see past your nose. But now there was a strange glow in the room. It was coming from what looked like a stone figure. Missy walked closer to get a better look. "Mackenzie… come look at it I… I think it's a draconequus…” Missy whispered. Mackenzie walked to his sister's side and looked at the draconequus. He had big bushy eyebrows a beard and a one fang hanging down from his evil looking grin, just like Mackenzie's fang. "Hey Mackenzie this draconequus looks a lot like you don't cha think? I mean look you've both got the same tail and fangs!" "I don't look like him at all Missy! He's got to be evil! I mean look they have him locked in a dungeon deep under the castle like a prisoner! He must have lived at one time or another!" "Don't be so silly! It's a statue! It's not like someone turned 'him' to stone! Nopony can do that!" "You don't know that Missy! Didn't mom once say something about some things called The Elements of Harmony? I think she said something about them being able to defeat evil… maybe that's what happened to him!" "That's just an old mare's tale Mackenzie! Gesh why are you getting so worked up about it anyway?!" "Because I don't want to be competed to anypony that's evil!" "You Can't Prove 'He' Was Evil" They yelled and argued so much that they were too busy to see that the stone had started to glow brighter and brighter. Eventually Missy got tired of yelling and tackled Mackenzie. In his angered state of mind Mackenzie fought back. The stone draconequus started to crack and shake. Then BOOM the entire thing fell to pieces! "Oh look what you did now Mackenzie! It broke!" "I didn't do it! You did!" In the dark dungeon came a dark and sinister laugh that quickly quieted the two siblings… //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2: The Choice //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2: The Choice The Rise of Chaos Chapter 2: The Choice "Who's there?!", Missy tried to act like she wasn't scared, but right about now she was wishing she had listened to her brother. With a flash the owner of the sinister laugh appeared. It was the stone draconequus only no longer in stone. "Hello Missy, I bet you are regretting ever leaving your room hmm.” the draconequus said with a grin. "She said who are you!” Mackenzie jumped in-between Missy and the draconequus. "You my dear boy must be little Mackenzie! I've been waiting a long time to see you." The draconequus smiled and swiftly scooped up Mackenzie. Of course Mackenzie fought to get free but the draconequus over powered him. Missy also tried freeing Mack to no avail. "Put Him DOWN!" "Why in the wide world of Equestria would I want to put down my own son silly filly?" "What?!” said Mackenzie as he finally jumped to freedom. "Let me introduce myself, my name is Discord. I am the spirit of Chaos and Disharmony. And I am Mackenzie's true father." Both children were not buying it, thinking he was just an old loon pulling a prank on them. "Well if you don't believe me let me show you." With that Discord snapped his fingers. The room seemed to disappear and they were in a blue tornado. The kids felt like they were being torn apart so they quickly grabbed each other to be sure they wouldn't be blown to pieces. But soon the chaos ended and once again they were in the dungeon room. Only now the room seemed clean and a lot brighter. Discord was once again stone. Just when they thought they had been dreaming and nothing ever happened somepony was coming into the room. It was SkyMint. "Mama!” Missy ran to her mother to give her a big hug only to find that she ran right through her. Missy looked back to Mackenzie and saw Discord still with them and not only that but they were blue and transparent. "We are only seeing a vision of the past; she cannot see or hear you.” explained Discord. "Oh Discord,” SkyMint said to the stone Discord, "I have some news for you, I'm going to have twins, one I'm sure is yours..." SkyMint feel to her knees and began to cry. "I'm sure of it; the doctor said the boy is smaller than the girl so I think you will have a son. I've been hiccupping cotton candy clouds for days now. I don't think I'll ever be able to eat cotton candy again, let alone look at Pinkie the same way ever again." Mackenzie turned to look at Discord and saw him snap his fingers and make a cloud of cotton candy appear. "Is it true?” Mackenzie asked himself. "Discord I know what I'm going to name my foals. The girl will be Missy. And the boy, your son, will be named Mackenzie." And with that the trip into the past was over and all three of them where back in their own time. Discord was finishing off his cotton candy when he said, "You see, I wouldn't lie about something like that my dear Mackenzie." "They... They lied to me... My own mother and fath..." Mackenzie did not want to finish his sentence for now he knew it was a lie. He then began to cry out of both hurt and anger. "Mackenzie, just because dad may not be your dad by blood doesn't mean he's any less of a dad to you.” Missy tried to comfort her brother, only to be pushed away. "There there my son," Discord said with a smile, "they may not have been honest with you 100 percent, but I promise to be. But only if you help me with something." Mackenzie looked up at Discord with tears in his eyes and said, "And what's that?" Discord then flashed him and Mackenzie out of the room, leaving Missy all alone. "I hope the kids are doing alright Ning. I feel bad that we had to leave them alone." SkyMint and Ning were heading back to their room, where they had left the children to eat with the Princesses. "Knowing Missy I'll be surprised if they are even in the room now.” Ning knew his daughter to well. "MOMMY DADDY!!!" A screaming and crying Missy flew through the hall and crashed into her father, knocking both of them to the ground. "Missy?! What's wrong?! Where’s your brother?!" "Where are we?" Mackenzie asked still crying a bit. It was dark but still somewhere in the castle. "That doesn't matter now. Mackenzie you need to listen to me now." Discord's voice now sounded serious, which Mack would soon learn was very rare and when it did you'd better pay attention. "I will give you two options and you will need to choose one. But let me explain what my plans are. I plan to take over and rule Equestria. Of course Equestria will be the most chaotic place in the world. And might I add the most fun place in the world. Most ponies would say I am evil but evil is in the eye of the beholder. Mackenzie your first choice is to join me and help me in any way you can in taking over Equestria. When I am King you will be my heir. In choosing to help me I will give you powers like that of my own. I will teach you how to use them and I will teach you a great number of things. Also you will be gaining the prefect father, me. I will be totally honest with you. I will answer any questions you need answers to and I will give you anything you need. I will also be the most caring loving father I can be. All you have to do is agree to aid me in taking Equestria. So, we have a deal?" "But what if I don't, what's the second choice?" "Oh nothing you will still live with me in the castle but you will be a servant and I'll just get a new heir." Discord reached out his lion paw ready to seal the deal. Mackenzie hesitated for a moment but he knew there was only one choice. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4: The Deal //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4: The Deal The Rise of Chaos Chapter 4: The Deal "Father, aren't you worried that if we don't get the elements soon they could stop you?" Discord looked at his son and smiled. "How old are you?" "Ten." "And Twilight, Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy all have kids right?" "Yes, most are older than me." "Good, don't worry, the elements won't work. Not even nerdy little Twilight Sparkle will be able figure out who the new Elements of Harmony are." "Princess Celestia!" Twilight Sparkle and the others ran in panting. "W-we got here as fast as we could! Are the elements safe?" "Yes please quickly put them on, we need to find Discord!" "And my little Mackenzie.” SkyMint added. "Oh Minty I'm so sorry about Mackenzie. We will do our best to get him back to you.” said Fluttershy as she came to SkyMint and gave her a hug. Twilight quickly put on her crown and the others their necklaces. "Look everypony! Isn't that Discord out in the garden?” Pinkie Pie had been looking at the chocolate rain out the window when she saw him. Princess Celestia then teleported the seven ponies and herself out onto the garden. In front of them was Discord and Mackenzie. "Hello everypony! Miss me? I missed you." Discord then laughed at them. "Quickly Formation!” yelled Twilight. "Oh no please don't turn me to stone!” Discord said sarcastically, "Hit me with your best shot!" Discord then told Mackenzie to get out of the way, just in case his hunch was incorrect. With all her power Twilight summoned all the magic in her. She and the other five ponies lifted into the air, their necklaces glowing and Twilight's eyes shining bright. Then just when it seemed it was all over for Discord the elements failed and all six ponies fell to the ground. "What the hay?!” Rainbow Dash said as she got up after falling face first into the dirt. "The Elements didn't work?” exclaimed Rarity. "Princess what did we do wrong?” Twilight asked. "Hahahahahahahaha I knew it!” Discord was leaping with joy that he had been right about the elements not working. "Discord! What did you DO?!” Princess Celestia was glaring at the draconequus. "Nothing my dear Celestia, I guess your little heroes have out grown saving you.” he grinned at the angry alicorn. Princess Celestia, with horn glowing, ran over to Discord, hoping to defeat him herself. Discord then lifted the princess with his magic and threw her against a tree. Everypony gasped to see their princess beat that quickly. At that moment a loud crack of thunder sounded and it started to rain even harder. The rise of chaos had started. Twilight ran to the aid of the princess, but before she could get to her a flash of lightning brought a group of evil royal guards and they surrounded the unconscious alicorn. One of the guards took Princess Celestia's crown and necklace and gave them to Discord. In Discord's hands the gold turned platinum and the jewels turned red. "SkyMint!” Ning and Missy came running out onto the garden, only to be caught by some of Discord's guards. "Leave them alone Discord!” SkyMint ran to Discord and feel to his feet, "Please..." Discord smiled and put on the platinum necklace. "Oh don't worry, I will SkyMint, but only if you honor our agreement." "What is he talking about SkyMint?” Ning asked while trying to get free of the guard pony. SkyMint's eyes began to water and she sighed and explained, "When Discord and I first meet, right before all you ponies came to save me, we made a deal... for if he became ruler of Equestria... The deal was that you, the rest of my family, the princesses, and Twilight and her friends, would be safe and unharmed if... If I become Discord's queen..." "Yes and what a wonderful queen you will be my dear SkyMint!" "No SkyMint you don't have to do it!” Ning was really fighting now. Discord stretched out his paw. "I'm sorry Ning, but I have to..." SkyMint put her hoof in Discord's paw to close the deal. Discord then put the platinum crown on her head and kissed his new queen on the cheek. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 5: The Questioning //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 5: The Questioning The Rise of Chaos Chapter 5: The Questioning "Quick Jonagold lasso the cloud! ThunderClap help Jonagold bring the cloud down here!” ordered a teenage unicorn pony. "Cotton Candy you need to move from under the cloud!” yelled ThunderClap. "Twilight Zone I don't think letting the animals eat all that chocolate and cotton candy is such a good idea, what if they get tummy aches?” a teenaged pony ask the unicorn. "They will be fine Fuji. Mercury I need my spell book!” Twilight Zone said to her younger cousin. "Got it right here Twi!” said Mercury the half unicorn colt half dragon. "Twi don't get rid of the clouds! I love the chocolate milk rain!” the pink earth pony, Cotton Candy, said. Ignoring her friend Twilight Zone flipped through the pages of the spell book her cousin was holding. She finally found the page she was looking for and raised her head. She summoned all her power to try and get rid of the strange cotton candy clouds that had appeared a few hours earlier. A bright light came from the unicorns horn but the clouds where still there, much to Cotton Candy's delight. "What when wrong this time Twi?!” asked an annoyed ThunderClap. "I don't know! It should have worked! Maybe if I try-" "Twilight Zone!" "Hey dad, what's wrong?" A yellow unicorn came up to the six friends and looked at his daughter Twilight Zone. "There is a meeting at town hall and everypony is required to be there. Come on kids, I'm not sure what happened but I think it's bad.” said Comet Tail. All six ponies looked at Comet Tail with worried faces and followed him to the center of town, leaving the cotton candy cloud to be eaten by the smaller animals. "Attention Ponyville! I have something very important to tell you!" One of Discord's evil royal guards yelled to the large group of ponies that had now formed. "I am here to announce the fall of your Princess Celestia!" A large gasp and mutters came from the crowd. "SILENCE!!” the royal guard stamped his hoof and the sound seemed to echo. The crowd silenced. "Your new ruler is King Discord, Spirit of Chaos and Disharmony! You all have been ordered to continue on with your lives as you always have, though it may take some getting used to, for the weather and land will change drastically. Also, King Discord has announced that he has chosen a pony to rule as his queen, a pony you all may know for she lives here in Ponyville. Your future queen shall be miss SkyMint the pegasus! Their wedding will take place sometime next week in Canterlot. That is all the news I have for you now. You all may resume with your daily activities.” the guard pony, along with a few other guards, then entered Town Hall and the group of ponies dispersed, all with worried looks on their faces. SkyMint family had been at that town meeting and was now at home. "Something isn't right... Minty wouldn't do something like this.” said her step-sister Midnight. "SkyMint must have a reason for agreeing to marry Discord...” replied SkyMint's step-mom. SkyMint's dad came into the room with a saddle bag on. "SkyFighter what on Equestria do you think you're doing?" "I'm going to find out what's going on with my daughter." And with that he packed the last of his supplies for the long fly to Canterlot and he flew off. Despite SkyMint's protest Ning and Celestia were placed in the dungeons. Discord did not trust them being free in his castle. All of the royal ponies where forced to be maids and servants in the castle, including Missy. Discord banned anypony from using magic in Canterlot, only Mackenzie, the royal unicorn guards, and himself were allowed to use magic. The punishment for breaking this rule would be a week in the dungeon. Already plans were being made for the royal wedding. Rarity was trying her best to make SkyMint's dress, along with the bridesmaids’ dresses and maid of honor dress, without magic. The six former holders of the elements would be SkyMint's bridesmaids and Missy the maid of honor. Discord took it upon himself to make all the wedding plans, being the king, and was having a lot of fun with it. It was going to be a wedding that he would enjoy, not much the guests. Discord was getting measured for his tux by Rarity when SkyFighter found him. "Discord! What’s going on here?!” yelled a very angry SkyFighter. "Hello SkyFighter! I was hoping you'd get here soon! You need to be fitted for your tux!” said Discord. "Why are you marring my daughter?!" "Because I am king and I can do what I want." "But she is already married!" "I'm king; I can break any marriage I want." SkyFighter grew more upset due to Discord's answers. "I guess this means that after next week I can call you dad. Ha! That funny! Besides I'm already the father of your grandson, why does it matter if I marry SkyMint?" SkyMint saw her father getting ready to attack her fiancé and jumped in to stop the chaos. "Daddy! What are you doing here?” she said as she hugged her father. "Trying to get some answers out of your fiancé." "Come on I'll explain everything over lunch." As SkyMint and SkyFighter walked out the room Discord stuck his forked tongue out at his future father-in-law. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 7: The Wedding //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 7: The Wedding The Rise of Chaos Chapter 7: The Wedding "You nervous?” asked SkyMint's stepmom, Jill Bean. "Yeah and she's sad and wishes this wasn't happening.” Midnight, SkyMint's stepsister, answered for her. "Midnight! You promised not to read my mind!” said SkyMint angrily as she was putting her dress on. "I didn't, you’re just that easy to read Minty!" It was an hour until the royal wedding was to start and SkyMint's bride's maids where mostly done getting dressed and where talking. SkyMint's dress was on and Rarity and Jill were doing her makeup. Midnight and Missy were doing each other’s makeup and hair. SkyMint's little half-sister, Julie Bean, was playing with the flowers she would soon be throwing down the aisle. "Julie," SkyMint said to her, "please don't get any jelly beans in the flowers." SkyMint knew her little sister well and knew she was already eating her favorite candy, losing some here and there. "Sorry Minty." she replied with a giggle. "Well Mackenzie, how do I look?" Discord asked his best man. "Great! What about me?" Discord was wearing a custom tuxedo made by Rarity. Mackenzie was wearing a matching tux. "Great, you remember what to do?" "When the priest asks for the rings I give them to you and mom." "Good boy! Now come on its time for us to go." said Discord. Discord walked down the aisle and got into position, with Mackenzie next to him. As SkyMint started down the aisle a, what seemed like a broken "here comes the bride" played. Many ponies fought the need to cover their ears to give SkyMint looks of encouragement. Little Julie happily threw the flower petals, along with a few jelly beans. SkyMint's bride's maids followed behind Julie two at a time. Nopony seemed to be happy other than Discord and Mackenzie. SkyMint finally reached the front and, to everyponies relief, the music stopped. After the vows Discord placed SkyMint's crown on top of her head to show everypony she was now his queen. "You may kiss the bride." said the priest. Discord smiled and kissed his queen and everypony fake cheered for the "happy" couple. Not surprisingly the wedding reception was not the best but lots of ponies were dancing, most involuntarily. The food was manly candy and sugary snacks that Discord picked out himself, though the young foals didn't mind too much. There was no one type of music playing just a strange mix of music. Most of the decorations were made of cotton candy which was attracting ants and other pests. "SkyMint there's somepony I want you to meet." Discord said to his new wife. A purple and white pony with strange eyes floated up to them with a smile on her face. "This is my daughter Screwball. She was created out of my chaos." Discord gave his daughter a hug and a kiss. "It's nice to finally meet you SkyMint, but I guess now I should call you mom." she laughed with a laugh that was a lot like Discord's. "Hello Screwball. May I ask how come I haven't met you before today?" "Well somepony has to cause chaos when Daddy is busy. That's why I'm not his heir, I'd rather help him with his work then rule." she smiled and hugged SkyMint and Discord and floated off to dance with her new brother. "Thanks for telling me you had a daughter." SkyMint said sarcastically. "Hey I was kinda busy with the wedding plans. I may have had time to tell you if you had helped me!" Discord said angrily, but anger melted into pure bliss as he dragged SkyMint to the dance floor. Finally the wedding was over and everypony started heading for home. SkyMint's family was going to stay at the castle to watch Mack and Missy while Discord and SkyMint went on their honeymoon. The honeymoon, Discord said, was a surprise. "Bye sweetheart we'll see you next week." said SkyFighter, "Be safe and try to have fun." SkyMint smiled and hugged her father. She gave everypony hugs and kisses. "Mackenzie Missy you both behave and listen to your grandparents ok?" "Yes mommy." said Mackenzie. Missy just looked down. "Hey Missy everything is going be ok, I love you sweetheart." SkyMint kissed her daughter's head and walked to Discord. SkyMint gave a final wave goodbye and Discord teleported them off. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 8: The Storm //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 8: The Storm Chapter 8: The Storm It had only been a few hours since SkyMint and Discord left for the honeymoon and the children were woken by the sound of peppermint lighting blowing off the tops of trees and the howling wind blowing against the windows. The three children ran to the one window in their room to see outside. The trees looked as if they were ready to blow over. The hedges and bushes were nearly gone from the wind. But despite all this the dark guards didn't seem to budge. "Wow, daddy must be really mad...” Screwball said to Mackenzie and Missy. "Have you ever seen it this bad?" asked Missy. Screwball just shook her head. "What do you think dad is mad about?" asked Mackenzie. "I don't know I just hope mom is ok." answered Missy. The storm lasted till noon of the next day, but it had left its mark. Discord's storm reached all the way from the Crystal Mountains to San Palomino Desert. There were chocolate puddles everywhere the eye could see. Trees had blown over with remnants of peppermint in their charred tops. Many houses had a leak or two. The castle on the other hoof fared much better. Only the yards and the statue garden that Discord once called home were badly damaged. Missy, Mackenzie, and Screwball all ran outside as soon as the storm was over. Screwball jumped in the puddles, not noticing the damage around her. "Wow... Dad must've been mad last night." said Mackenzie. "Come on my little ponies, we're going to take a trip to Ponyville.” said SkyFighter as he walked out to join the three foals. The whole family walked to the train station, checking out the damage to city took. Once they got on the train it began to rain again. Screwball stuck her head out the window to see if she could get any chocolate milk. Mackenzie wanted to do that too but his grandpa wouldn't let him. "Sweet Celestia..." said Midnight when they got off the train. Ponyville was covered with chocolate, parasprites, mutant rabbits, and all sorts of crazy things. The whole town was out in the rain trying to cover any windows that had blown in. "Hi Mackenzie!!" said Cotton Candy. "Hey Cotton Candy, what are you doing?" he replied. Cotton Candy looked like a one mare marching band with all sorts of instruments on her. "I'm helping my mom get rid of the parasprites! They like to follow the music! Kind of like the Pipe Piper Pony!" Just then Pinkie Pie called for her daughter to join her and Cotton Candy began playing her instruments. "Mister SkyFighter!" said Twilight Zone as she walked to the family, followed by Mercury. "We didn't know when you'd be coming home so we started boarding up your house for you." said the young dragon-pony. "Thank you both, I was worrying about that." replied SkyFighter. The family dispersed and left the three children to play; they knew they would be fine. Mackenzie showed Screwball around Ponyville, she hadn't been there in a while. After a few hours the sky started to get dark of night and more storm clouds were rolling in. The family headed to the newly boarded up house to call it a night. "Mommy!" yelled Missy, woken by a bad dream. "Missy calm down it was only a dream." said her Aunt Midnight. "Aunt Midnight, I'm scared... and I'm worried about Mama..." "I know we all are sweetheart. If you want you can come sleep with me tonight." Missy nodded and quickly got out of the bed she was sharing with Mackenzie and Screwball and followed her aunt. It’s dead. I lost the will to write it. Discord has changed too much for this story. I have also come up with where Mackenzie comes from since Discord is too good to get SkyMint pregnant with him (sorta). They were at a party, Discord got drunk, he discorded SkyMint and that’s where Mackenzie comes in. As for the mane 6’s kids I’m going to adopt out Twilight Zone, Cotton Candy, and Johnagold because I don’t really want them now. Sorry guys //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3: The Meeting //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3: The Meeting The Rise of Chaos Chapter 3: The Meeting "Princess Celestia!!" SkyMint was running as fast as she could with tears in her eyes. "SkyMint what's wrong?" SkyMint fell to the princess' hooves and cried, "He's back! He has returned! He's got my little Mackenzie! My poor baby boy!" "SkyMint who?! Who has Mackenzie?" Then an all too familiar laugh echoed through-out the room. "Discord! Show yourself!” commanded Princess Celestia. In a window close by a little stain glass Discord appeared. "Hello Celestia, hello my dear SkyMint.” said the stain glass window. "Give me back my son Discord!!" "You mean OUR son? Well after all I haven't seen him all his life! SkyMint I can't believe you never told the boy about me, he was very upset at you when I told him." Discord smiled at the sad look on her face. "Discord! You should know better than to mess with my family!” Ning said as he and Missy came into the room. Discord moved to the window nearest Ning and said, "Technically, Ning, Mackenzie isn't your family. He is my son, not yours." Ning was steaming with anger and was getting ready to ram the window. Discord jumped from window to window, laughing, Ning following with rage. "Ning stop! It won’t do any good! Besides only Discord knows where Mackenzie is..." "That is true, but I am not keeping him prisoner," Discord snapped his fingers and a little stain glass Mackenzie appeared next to him; “He has chosen me." "Mackenzie!” SkyMint said as she ran to the window. "Mom why didn't you tell me the truth, about my true father?" "Sweet heart I didn't want you to know because Discord is evil! I only wanted to protect you! Please sweetheart don't listen to him, he's an evil draconequus!" "Evil is in the eye of the beholder Mom.", and with that Mackenzie clapped his hooves and disappeared. "That went well, see you soon my queen.” Discord said to SkyMint. Discord snapped his fingers and was gone. It was getting dark and it started to rain chocolate milk outside. Princess Celestia was writing a letter to Twilight Sparkle, hoping it wasn't too late. All SkyMint could do was sit stunned on the ground while Missy sobbed and Ning muttered to himself, trying to calm down. The princess came to SkyMint and put her hoof on her shoulder and said, "I just sent Twilight a letter to come with her friends but I need to see if Discord has taken the Elements yet, will you come with me? I want to talk with you." SkyMint said nothing but nodded her head and followed the princess. They walked in silence for a while until SkyMint finally spoke. "Will Mackenzie be turned to stone too?" "No, he is young and confused. Besides Discord is taking advantage of him. He will not be punished by me or anypony." "I just don't want Discord to brainwash my baby like he brainwashed me..." Flashes of that night start going through Sky Mint’s head and she had to stop and cry. *flashback* SkyMint just found out she and Ning were expecting their first foal and she was super happy. She planned to tell Ning at a picnic in the forest so while he was at work SkyMint went into the forest to pick a spot. Not long before this, Discord managed to escape by tricking the Princesses into arguing, but not without being injured by Celestia. So he hid in the very forest SkyMint was in that day. Being existed and all, SkyMint started talking to the foal in her that would soon become Missy. "Hi sweetie! Are you happy we're gonna tell your daddy about you? I am! You know you are very lucky to be in there. You know why? Because your daddy is a draconequus and I'm a pony! It's very rare that a pony can have draconequus babies! Yeah you’re a lucky baby!" Discord of course heard this and started to come up with a plan. Due to the fact that he was injured he wouldn't be able to take over Equestria today. But he knew what he could do. The trees started to close in around SkyMint, but she didn't notice until she almost crashed into a tree. "What's going on?" Somewhere somepony was laughing. "W-who’s there?" "Hello my dear, what is a beautiful pegasi, like yourself, doing out alone in the woods?" Discord appeared from who knows where and walked up to SkyMint. "I'm looking for a nice spot to have a picnic at..." "Oh? And with whom, may I ask?" "My husband... Who are you? "My name is Discord, a draconequus like your husband, and what is your name my dear?" "SkyMint, how did you know he was a draconequus?" "I heard you talking..." Discord now stared into SkyMint's eyes, hypnotizing her. "SkyMint what is your talent?" "Showing love and caring to everypony..." "You will now hate everypony, but you will only love the draconequus in front of you." *end of flashback* Princess Celestia gave SkyMint a hug and said, "That's in the past now SkyMint. If I know Discord he would not hypnotize his own son, only to be sure he won't betray him. Come, we need to hurry." SkyMint got up and shook off the horrible memory. They finally got to the Hall of the Elements. It was a beautiful room with stain glass pictures of Twilight and her friends using the elements to defeat creatures like Discord. The princess unlocked a large door with her magic and there sat a large case. The princess then lifted the case and placed it between them. I don't even want to think about...." SkyFighter sighed and hugged his daughter. "Mom what's going on?” asked Twilight Zone as her mother entered the library. "The Elements of Harmony didn't work... Don't understand why..." Twilight Sparkle was still wearing her element. "Is that it there?" asked Comet Tail. Twilight looked up and saw that she was still wearing it and nodded. She then took it off and placed it on the desk. "I'm going to do some research..." said Twilight. Comet Tail and Twilight Zone looked at her a sighed. In the mood she is in, they both knew she would be reading for the next few days. "Poor mom..." "Hey dad are you busy?” Mackenzie asked Discord. "No. Why?" "Can we do something together? 'Cause you've been so busy with the wedding we haven't done one lesson like you said we'd do." "Ok then let’s get started... Let me think.... I know! Lesson one, how to magically make somepony start to dance! This may come in handy at the wedding. Alula! Come here for a moment!" A young alicorn came to Discord and Mackenzie and bowed. She was one of Celestia's nieces and a former princess. "Y-yes your majesty?" she asked nervously. "I am teaching Prince Mackenzie a new spell and I need somepony to test it on." With a sigh Alula bowed at prepared for the spell. Discord snapped his fingers and at once Alula started to do the chicken dance. Discord was laughing so hard he fell over, along with Mackenzie. Finally, with tears in his eyes, Discord snapped again and to Alula's relief she stopped dancing. "Now you try Mackenzie! Think about the spell in your head and let it rip!" Mackenzie focused and clapped his hooves and to his and Discord's astonishment Alula started dancing the tango, she was pretty good despite not having a partner. "Amazing! Mack you've got talent! Well I guess I shouldn't be too surprised considering you've got a very talented father!” Discord said with a smile as he rubbed his sons head.
