Barbra and Elusive exited the hospital and Barbra supported Elusive as they walked.

“Really Barbra, I can walk fine, it’s just a couple of bruises,” Elusive said.

“I don’t care, I’m your nurse until your better dear,” Barbra said firmly.

“Dear eh? I suppose since we are official now we could come up with names for eachother, isn’t that right darling?” Elusive chuckled.

“Oh you,” Barb giggled as the two made their way back to the Boutique.

They approached the doorway and Barb knocked.

“Don’t bother, Sweetie Belle is spending the night at Scootaloo’s,” Elusive said.

“Oh, perfect,” Barb said as she opened the door and guided Elusive to a chair.

“You're still covered in dirt, let me get a rag,” Barbra said as she moved to get one but Elusive held her hand.

“No need, I was planning on taking a shower anyways, but why don’t we sit and chat for a bit,” Elusive asked.

“That’s odd, the clean freak Rarity wanting to stay dirty?” Barb chuckled.

“Har har, come now, sit sit,” Elusive said and Barbra did so.

“So, watcha want to talk about?” Barb asked sounding a little sure of where the conversation may go.

“Um… how are you?” Elusive asked.

“Almost got taken against my will, but apart from that, I’m fine,” Barb said with a giggle.

“I cannot think of a mare, or dragoness who giggles on the same sentence that such a traumatic thing occurred,” Elusive said honestly.

“I’m fine, really, what I’m more concerned with is where you are going with this conversation?” Barb asked.

Elusive winced “Am I that transparent?” Elusive asked.

“Yeah,” Barb chuckled.

“...Very well then, no beating around the bush, Barb I am going to ask a serious question and I want you to be honest,” Elusive said.

“Alright,” Barb said with a nod.

“...Do you know how long ponies live as opposed to dragons?” Elusive asked.

“...I was afraid that’d be your first question… yeah, Ember told me, dragons live anywhere from one to ten thousand years, give or take those ‘blessed’ with longevity…” Barb sighed.

“And ponies don’t even live a quarter of that,” Elusive said.

“So… what are you getting at?” Barb asked.

“...When I inevitably pass from old age, I suggest having a drake in mind to-”

“No…” Barb said.

“Barbra, you don’t understand,” Elusive said.

“No you don’t, I’m going to be honest, I’d have a really hard time finding a drake whom I could see myself laying a nest of eggs for… dragons don’t like ponies, they’re mean to each other as well, and if earlier was proof of anything, I’m likely to get attacked if I go back to the dragon lands, maybe I should find a way to help you live longer?” Barb asked.

“That is not an option,” Elusive said.

“Who knows, we found a spell that did this to us, maybe we can find a spell that makes you live a long time, o-or turns you into a dragon too… or an alicorn or-”

“Barb, stop,” Elusive said and Barb did “I cannot live forever, I merely wish to help prevent you from becoming a widow for life after I’m gone,” Elusive said.

“I don’t want to lose you, I don’t want to lose anypony,” Barb said with a tear rolling down her cheek, Elusive wiped it away.

“I know, but time is an enemy nopony can beat, I want you to promise you won’t dedicate the remainder of your long life to me once I am gone, dedicate it to a drake who can be with you for the long haul,” Elusive said.

“...Ok….” Barb said.

“I am holding you to it, I want to be with you Barbra, but I don’t want to be the reason you plunge yourself into the depths of loneliness,” Elusive said.

“I understand,” Barb said.

“Let us enjoy the time we have right now,” Elusive said.

“Ok, so, got anymore questions?” Barb asked.

“Just if you want to talk about more things regarding stuff I should know about dragons, since you are friends with Ember, has she imparted any info you didn’t previously know?” Elusive asked.

“Just eating habits and proper scale care,” Barb shrugged.

“Ok, have any for me?” Elusive asked.

“...Do you know if dragons and ponies can reproduce?” Barb asked, Elusive’s eyes widened and he looked like he didn’t know how to respond.

Barb realized what she said and blushed madly “I-i didn’t mean we should right now! B-but I mean, I’ve always been curious,” Barb said.

“W-well… I imagine they can, generally, most races can… procreate, if ours can I am not sure,” Elusive said.

“Haha… yeah, guess we’ll know if that ever happens,” Barb said internally cursing herself for making it awkward.

Dusk made his way into the castle and sat at his desk once more.

“Maybe I’ll have a chance to finish this message to Luna, then I gotta take this to the post office,” Dusk said as he finished writing up the message about his plan to visit Luna, afterwards he got up and made his way to the post office.

“Maybe I should talk with Luna in my dreams some more, one thing I can appreciate is that we’re both on the same page alot, and she always cares about our time together,” Dusk said fondly.

Dusk made his way past Rainbow Blitz who was exiting a pub, looking a little tipsy.

“Whew! Thanks guys for the…the quick drinks!” Blitz said as he stumbled towards Dusk “Hey! You look like my friend Dusk…” Blitz slurred.

“Rainbow? Why are you not home… and drunk?” Dusk said.

“Whaddya mean… I’m not drunk… yer drunk…” Blitz said.

“How did… we literally just left the hospital, did you go right here and down their strongest drink or something?” Dusk said.

“You psychic or somethin?... that’s totally what I did!” Blitz snorted.

“...Ok… take you home first and then deliver this, c’mon,” Dusk said grabbing Blitz.

“Ged offa me…” Blitz complained.

“Come on Blitz, you need to rest, and maybe get a coffee in the morning,” Dusk said as he tried to fly with Blitz in hand.

“I don’t need yer help! I’m a pro flyer, a Wonderbolt…” Blitz said.

“I didn’t want to do this but…” Dusk used a sleep spell on Blitz and Blitz quickly passed out “For your own good,” Dusk said before flying the stallion home.

A blue mare exited the pub and grinned at the two flying away.

“Got 'em, you’ll be mine again soon…” The mare said before unfolding her wings and flying after them quietly.

Barbra finished making tea for Elusive as he finished picking out his night clothes.

“Hey Elusive! Made your favorite earl tea!” Barb said approaching.

“Oh, thank you darling, but you didn’t need to,” Elusive said as he took the tea and blew on it.

“Nonsense, I love you, so I’ll take care of you,” Barb said.

“Barbra?” Elusive said noticing what she said.

“I also fluffed a blanket and warmed it a little with my fire breath, without torching it,” Barb said.

“Barbra,” Elusive said setting the teacup down.

“And if you want, I’ll cook some pancakes in the morning for-”

“Barb!” Elusive said a little more firmly.

“Yes dear?” Barb asked.

“Why are you acting like that?” Elusive asked.

“Acting like that?... That’s an odd way to say thanks,” Barb said.

“I am thankful for your efforts, but I am beginning to wonder how you see yourself in our relationship?” Elusive asked.

“What do you mean? I love you, so I’ll be at your beck and call, dear,” Barb said.

“I don’t want that,” Elusive said.

“What do you mean?” Barbra asked looking upset.

“I deeply appreciate that your being so nice, but I wish for our relationship to be equal, if your waiting on my beck and call, then are you my marefriend or my maid?” Elusive said as an example.

“...I guess… I mean not to sound bitter but Dusk and I have always had an assistant relationship on top of being siblings… is that not normal?” Barb asked.

“...I suddenly want to question Dusk about his labor practices,” Elusive said.

“Don’t, I really am okay with helping out, being helpful is my nature,” Barb said.

“Well with me, we stand equally,” Elusive said, Barb seemed happy to hear that.

“Can… I still help out?” Barb asked.

“Of course dear,” Elusive held out his arms and Barb hugged him tightly, after pulling away slightly she looked him in the eyes and then kissed him on the lips.

After a minute of kissing the two separated.

“I’ve wanted to kiss you for the longest time, and now I can do it anytime I want… life is good,” Barb said.

“Indeed, well I need to get moving, have to shower before bed,” Elusive said standing up and Barb stood back.

“Ok, I’ll be waiting in your bed,” Barb called after him and Elusive stumbled a little.

“What?” Elusive asked.

“Well what? Would you rather your precious dragoness sleep in Sweetie's room?” Barb asked playfully.

“Fair point… I’ll be… showering,’ Elusive said blushing a little before going up the stairs.

“Oh that stallion, I’m going to enjoy this,” Barb said with a giggle.

AJ returned home and sat down in his kitchen with a sigh.

Hearing heavy hoofsteps he turned to see Red Gala entering and she spotted him.

“Evenin sis,” AJ said.

“Evenin to you too,” Gala said sitting next to AJ.

“Gala… can ah share something with ya?” AJ asked.

“Eeyup,” Red said.

“Ah… think ah may be seein someone,” AJ said.

Red Gala’s eyes widened a little briefly but she shook her head “Mk?”

“Problem is ah don’t fully know her… what if she isn’t the one?” AJ said.

“Ah dunno,” Gala shrugged.

“Ah had a feelin… ah guess ah’ll just play it by ear,” AJ said.

“Eeyup,” She said.

“Ah hope this works out…ah don’t want to be lovelorn anymore,” AJ said.

“What do ya like bout her?” Gala asked.

“She’s… very attractive fer one, she’s got a right toned figure and she is pretty,” AJ said.

Gala nodded.

“Ah… hard ta say but let’s just say ah knew somepony like her at one point and ah had feelings fer hi- her too to a degree, but ah never acted on it because our personalities were just too different, but… maybe it’d work, like they say, opposites attract?” AJ said.

“Ah s’ppose,” Gala said.

“And this… other pony is similar to her, but maybe it would work out regardless? Ah don’t know… tell me about you an Butterscotch,” AJ asked trying to change the subject.

“Not much ta say, ah’m plannin on giving him a chance at some point,” Gala shrugged.

“Jest remember his gentle heart, ah don’t want him bein rejected,” AJ said.

“Ah’ll remember, if it doesn’t work out ah’ll let him down gently,” Gala said.

“Ah’d appreciate it,” AJ said.

“And likewise don’t make Blitz’s mistake,” Gala said taking her leave.

“Ah won’t,” AJ said.

Barbra sat patiently on the bed looking out at nothing in particular, it was so surreal… to think that yesterday she was still pining for the mare-turned-stallion of her dreams, and today, she got him.

She felt the bed beneath her, so soft, bouncy…. Barb leaned in an drew a deep breath.

Strawberries, just like the perfume she used everyday… before the shift.

Barb honestly wanted to think he’d come out of the bathroom ready to take her virginity right then and there.

But no, she’d take this at his pace, she shouldn’t be greedy, after all he chose her to be his lover, she shouldn’t be picky on how far they go on the same night… right?

But then Barb noticed something on the nightstand…. His towel!

Barb blushed deeply at the thought that right now he is naked in the shower right now… her brain tried to war on itself… on one hand… she couldn’t let him leave the shower without a proper towel to dry off with, it is rather cool in the room after all.

On the other… she’s walking in on him… would he be disgusted? The trouble with not having a romantic relationship until now is that she doesn’t know what is acceptable and what strays into thirsty freak territory.

On the other hand theirs a handsome stud in there without a towel…

Unable to argue with that thought Barb collected the towel and moved to open the door…

The steam-filled bathroom made her wince as she made her way carefully through the bathroom, she noticed some interesting things here, but what her attention was mainly on was the stallion shape behind the curtain.

Deciding to not surprise him and risk a bathtub slip she knocked on the door daintily.

Elusive jumped a little “Hello?” Elusive asked.

“U-uhm… hey Elusive! It’s Barb…. Y-you forgot your towel,” Barbra said.

“...Oh… I did…” Elusive said nervously “Could you toss it over the curtain?” Elusive asked.

“Uh sure… or…” Barb said with a deep breath.

“Or?” Elusive responded.

“Or I could hand it to you…” Barb said nervously.

“...Ok…” Elusives voice said and the curtain pulled back slightly hiding the lower half of his body and he reached out for the towel.

Barb gulped and walked forward and handed him the towel.

“Thanks,” Elusive said with a bit of a lidded look in his eye.

Barb gulped again, blushing and she turned away “I…uh… save lots of hot water for me please!” Barb turned and began to walk out before the bathroom was magically closed.

“Huh?” Barb questioned and turned to see Elusive’s horn glowing.

“Barb, what did you really come in for?” Elusive asked knowingly.

“.....” Barb looked like she was ready to run.

“Don’t be scared darling, if anything, I dreamed of such a thing happening between me and my lover…” Elusive said with a smile.

“...Y-you mean you want to-” Barb stuttered.

“Why don’t I clean you darling, unless you’d rather showering alone?” Elusive said with a smile.

“....................” Barb looked like she was gonna burst into flames with how embarrassed she was, and so very very aroused…

She’d never thought about falling for a stallion when she was Spike, but her new body yearned for him like dog in heat.

So is there any other way to answer?

She immediately pulled off her shirt and bra and dropped them to the ground, then her pants and undies hit the ground after.

She stood there fully bare to him and she stiffly walked to the tub.

“My oh my, you look simply divine dear,” Elusive said before opening the curtain fully and Barb nervously entered the tub and felt the cold water hitting her scales.

“Yikes! That’s chilly!” Barb yelped.

“Oh! Sorry dear, here,” Elusive then switched it to hot water and Barb hummed as the hot water poured over her, she can bathe in lava so this temp isn’t even notable, but with the stallion she’s sharing it with, she feels hot as the sun!

Speaking of which she was too focused on her nerves before and didn’t notice the stallion next to her, like really notice him.

Toned muscles, not athletic but definitely a well-built figure for a noble stallion. A shiny white coat, and sparkly blue eyes… not to mention the part of him that has her staring…

He was twice the size of when Barb was a drake, which a part of her felt annoyed with but the rest was eager as all get out.

“Done measuring me up dear?” Elusive said with a smile.

“Uh! Y-yes! Sorry,” Barb stuttered.

“Don’t be, I must say, I like what I see too,” Elusive said grabbing her and pulling her close so that her chest was smushed against his chest.

“I-i…” Barbra stuttered.

“Let us show eachother the affection we’ve denied eachother for so long,” Elusive said before pulling her in and kissing her passionately.

Barb froze before hugging him back and kissing him hungrily rubbing her claws down his back and feeling his firm butt.

Elusive pressed her against the wall of the tub and they deepened their kiss a normal and forked tongue danced.

As they parted they panted heavily.

“Do you want me dear?” Elusive asked.

“Yes… more than life itself… I’ve wanted you for so long Rarity,” Barb said dreamily, accidentally referring to Elusive by his original name.

“And though I never realized it until now, I wanted this, I love you Barbra,” Elusive said before moving in to kiss her on the neck.

“Ah!” Barb wasn’t prepared for the sensation and she shuddered in his grasp.

“Want me to stop?” Elusive asked.

“NO!” Barb cried.

“Very well m’lady,” Elusive said before licking and biting her neck.

“Oh sweet Celestia!” Barb cried and she grabbed his hands and brought them to her chest.

Elusive got the hint and he began fondling them, they were… different then normal mare teats.

He would know since he had them at one point…

Hers were firmer, the scales had an interesting texture to them, yet in a strange way they were still soft.

Regardless he know he was doing the right thing as she was full on crying out and he held her tightly.

What happened next however Elusive didn’t see coming…

Her eyes sharpened and she grabbed him before biting him on the shoulder.

He cried out in a mix of surprise and pain and it felt like a burning venom was filling him.

The bite was deep enough to draw a little blood but not damage anything else, afterwards he tried to pry the dragon off of him but she wrapped him in a fully body grip and he fell over, she used the back of her hand to protect his head as they landed on the bottom of the tub and Elusive grunted in pain.

“What are you doing Barb! Stop!” Elusive cried, but it was like something primal had taken over Barbra and she held tight and the feeling like he was internally on fire continued, he felt as though he was going to burst into flames and then…. Coolness… he blacked out.

Elusive groaned as he woke up and he looked around, he found himself in his room, looking under the covers he saw that he was naked and a little wet, was that all a dream and the wetness is sweat, or did he really go shower together with Barb and then…. What happened… his mind was blank on the last part…

The door to his room opened and he looked up to see Barb with tear streaks on her face entering with a medkit.

“Barbra? You're here? What happened?” Elusive asked.

“Elusive? Elusive!” Barb dropped the medkit and ran over to him and hugged him crying “I’m so sorry!” She wailed.

“I-it’s ok… shhh,” Elusive calmed her even though he didn’t remember why she was sorry.

“I don’t know what came over me! I was feeling more pleasure than my mind was ready for and then… I lost control!” She sobbed.

“What do you mean?” Elusive asked.

“Y-you don’t remember?” Barb looked at him surprised.

“My mind is blank… we were making love in the shower and then… something happened but I cannot remember,” Elusive said.

“...I…can’t lie to you… I bit you,” Barb said.

“What?” Elusive said and he felt a sting on his shoulder and he turned to see his shoulder bandaged up… the memories came flooding back.

“Ah!” Elusive jumped a little upon remembering the bite.

“I-I’m so sorry… I don’t know what came over me, I should leave…” Barb said.

“...I…” Elusive suppressed his instinctual desire to flee and took a deep breath before grabbing Barb and looking her in the eye “Listen dear, I don’t know what happened either but I am not mad, a little rattled but I won’t look at you differently because of this,” Elusive firmly told her.

“Y-you mean it?” She asked.

“I mean it, you clearly couldn’t control yourself back there,” Elusive said.

“Elusive… thank you…” Barb hugged him “But what happened back there? I don’t normally lose control like that,” Barb said.

“I am not sure, but we can question Dusk tomorrow,” Elusive said.

“Ok,” Barbra said as she got up to walk home.

“And where are you going?” Elusive asked.

“Home, why?” Barbra asked.

“Being that we’re lovers now, don’t you want to sleep together?” Elusive asked with a smile.

Barb blushed and looked down “I…what if I do that again?” Barb asked.

“Then we’ll deal with it then, but I don’t want you leaving feeling so guilty,” Elusive said.

“Thank you Elusive,” Barbra said as she turned and crawled into bed with him and got under the covers and Elusive wrapped her in a hug.

She hummed happily, feeling lucky she was able to finally complete her dream of being with Rarity, even as a genderswap.

Dusk entered the cloud house and found Tank's terrarium.

Tank shook his head in a displeased manner.

“I agree,” Dusk said catching what the turtle was trying to say before carrying Blitz up the stairs and setting him in his bed.

“Ok, Rainbow, I’ll see you tomorrow,” Dusk said before leaving… not noticing a mare climbing in through the window and staring down at the unconscious stallion.

“Ah, so many memories here…. And more to be made… my precious stallion,” The mare giggled before getting out a burlap sack.

“You're mine now,” Petunia said.

Surprise extra chapter!

The clop isn't as prominent here as it was in Blitz's chapter for lore purposes, but trust me, there will be more in the future.

Next chapter [or two] will get a bit dark for this story, but I hope that doesn't kill the joy this story brings.
