"Good morning everycreature" Twilight greets the students.
"Good morning headmare Twilight" the students say in union.
Today something special is on the schedule: a magical lesson. In that class, Twilight will explain and demonstrate what dark magic is and why it's forbidden. What no one knows is that something terrible will happen.
"today, we will learn about dark magic" Twilight introduces today's class. The class is curious what's this all about. But one pony has safety concerns.
"are you sure you want to do it? somepony can get hurt or even get killed" Apple Lauda explains. Twilight acknowledges his worries.
"You know... I've recently lost a racing colleague because he fatally crashed... And my concerns are that there might be an accident here as well. I know magic and racing is a different story but still... I'm very concerned about this right now." Apple Lauda explains.
" I know Apple Lauda, it's a dangerous thing but the school has made some security measures" Twilight explains.
Apple Lauda glances over at Silverstream. His fear is that an accident happens and Silverstream gets in serious danger. He wants to keep her safe.
After a break, the lesson begins. Twilight casts a spell that contains potentially deadly magic. But suddenly, it gets out of control.
"SEEK COVER EVERYCREATURE!!!!" Twilight yells as everycreature is getting cover. But Silverstream got hit a split second afterwards.
"SILVERSTREAM!!!!" Apple Lauda yells. He knows that Silverstream is in serious danger.
After the spell is canceled, Twilight immediately rushes over to help. But by then, it's already too late... Silverstream has slipped into unconsciousness already and is at the edge of death. An ambulance arrives a few minutes later as Apple Lauda tries with all of his power to keep his girlfriend alive.
A few moments later, Silverstream gets rushed to the hospital. The odds of her survival are slim. Apple Lauda forces himself to help his girlfriend.
"I wasn't born for nothing... I have to save you Silverstream... I love you so much..." Apple Lauda says crying.
Fluttershy arrives in the hospital. "Apple Lauda, I know it's tough for you to see her in a state like this but you have to prepare for the worst" the yellow pegasus explains.
"I will not let her die!!!! I have a task to accomplish that god gave me from the moment I was born" Apple Lauda cries out.
"I know that and she can be happy to have you. Don't force yourself to save her... If she dies, then she will die... I know it will hurt and I know that you are a religious pony... but you should not put your mental health on the line because of her" Fluttershy explains.
"but I have to save her, she's my true love" Apple Lauda cries out. "I can't lose her"
"say Apple Lauda, how did you fall in love with her?" Fluttershy asks.
Apple Lauda sniffs. "well, what happened is that we spent a bit of time and then love struck me. I couldn't help myself. I knew I was in love with her."
"did you get any jealous with her or something?" Fluttershy asks.
"yes... I was jealous because she was talking to other boys... And once she fell in love with Gallus... But he had feelings for someone else fortunately. So I took the opportunity to talk to her and make her my girlfriend." Apple Lauda cries. "And once I talked to Gallus and kinda confronted him with this... I almost ruined my friendship with Silverstream."
"but everything ended well in the end, did it..." Fluttershy says.
A few minutes later, a doctor comes out of the room. Apple Lauda doesn't hesitate to ask him if he can help his girlfriend. The doctor explains to Apple Lauda.
"I'm so sorry but Silverstream might not survive this... She has about 3 days to live..." the doctor explains.
Apple Lauda is furious. "THIS CAN'T BE RIGHT!!!"
A rose aura surrounds Apple Lauda. Twilight arrives in the hospital and is in pure shock of the view what's happening to Apple Lauda. A few moments later, Apple Lauda's mane and tail turn rose.
Apple Lauda transfers some energy of his into Silverstream's body. The doctor already declares her for dead. Apple Lauda uses all, every single inch of his power to save his true love.
"Apple Lauda, stop it!!! You're going to hurt yourself!!!" Twilight shouts.
"WAKANDA FOREVER!!!!" Apple Lauda shouts. He's going all in.
A few minutes later, Apple Lauda collapses after he used the last bit of his power. His mane and tail turn brown as he transforms back to normal.
Twilight is worried about Apple Lauda's health. She rushes over to help him up but Apple Lauda seems very exhausted. He used every inch of energy to try to save Silverstream.
A few hours later, Silverstream wakes up from her coma. Apple Lauda rushes over to her and cries as hard as he could. His breaths become heavy and short, fighting for air.
"I AM NOT GOING TO LET YOU DOWN AT ANY COST!!!" Apple Lauda cries out.
"th-thank you... s-sweetie..." Silverstream responds weakly and puts a wing around Apple Lauda.
"what was that for a transformation?" Twilight asks in shock.
"I call it eternal love... I used every inch of my energy to save her... it almost cost me my life but I don't care... I would have died alongside her... I am glad I was able to help." Apple Lauda explains whilst crying.
"I was forced to do it... I simply had to do it... there's no way around it."
"even if I had died... I would still be with you my love... I love you as much as you love me." Silverstream says. "and that's why I wanted to ask you... do you want to marry me?"
Apple Lauda hugs Silverstream as tightly as possible. "OF COURSE I WANT TO MARRY YOU!!!! HONESTLY I HAVE WAITED FOR SO LONG BUT IT WAS DEFINITELY WORTH IT!!!" Apple Lauda and Silverstream kiss each other passionately.
Twilight is in awe. "congratulations you two"
"thank you Twilight" Apple Lauda and Silverstream say in union. A few days later, Silverstream gets released from the hospital and live a life like almost nothing happened.
