Fuck My Life

After Rogue followed Umbra through the portal into another world/alternate universe the Sentinels, Princesses and Main 6 and their army finished wrapping up Umbra's army in only a few hours, the Anubis like soldiers that were still alive were arrested and detained, the monsters were either killed or driven off and the bodies of the dead were collected for burial, as the search went on Twilight and the others couldn't find any trace of Rogue or Umbra until they came upon the portal which was massively unstable by the time they found it. "What is this? Some kind of portal?" Twilight asked reaching out a hand to touch it but Atlas stopped her by grabbing her wrist.

"Don't touch it, it's unstable, it could collapse on top of you." Atlas explained as he let go of Twilight's wrist.

"Where's Rogue and Umbra?" Celestia asked as she walked up to Atlas and waited for a response while checking him out.

"Where do you think he went." Starfall said as she Specter and Brutus landed by Atlas.

"You mean he went through the portal?" Twilight asked with concern in her voice as she looked at the other Alicorns present.

"Of course he did, you saw him just like the rest of us, he was ready to end this one way or another." Brutus said in a booming voice.

"Indeed, I have seen few in my long life with the courage to do what he did, to follow an enemy into the unknown just to stop their evil, that is the courage of a true Sentinel." Specter said in a calming voice.

"Sentinels, salute." Brutus said and the four Sentinels formed a line before the portal and they all placed a fist over their hearts.

"Ad Victoriam, Sentinel Winters." Atlas said first.

"Ad Victoriam." the other three repeated. Twilight and Celestia were left speechless at the sight of the Sentinels saluting Rogue as one of their own, they had no idea that Rogue had made such an impression on them in the short time they'd known him, but then again he'd also made an impression on them as well, from his disrespectful attitude to the extreme diligence he showed when exploring the world on his own to master the elemental powers of nature it's self.

"So, what now?" Rainbow asked as the rest of the main 6 and Luna watched the portal collapse in on it's self.

"Now... we go home." Twilight said looking at her friends before having a group hug and walking back to the main camp to rest.

"And what about you Sentinels?" Luna asked eyeing up Atlas like her sister had.

"We return to the path and continue owe duty." Atlas said with the other Sentinels nodding as they all spread their wings and took off flying to the four corners of the world to hunt evil once more.

Rogue walked down a cracked faded road to the city he'd seen in the distance, he hardly spared a thought to how tired he was after fighting for several days with out rest, he was focused on his target and getting the job done before anyone else suffered at Umbra's hands. Rogue stopped after a while to look at a billboard, looking at it he saw an actual equine pony in a dark blue and gold jumpsuit rather than the anthro ponies he'd gotten used to with the faded words "a better future, underground" next to the smiling pony on the billboard. "Huh, didn't see that coming, no anthros and this world is some kind of an amalgamation of Equestria and Bethesda's Fallout game series." Rogue said crossing his arms as he looked up at the billboard, he then shrugged. "Oh well, it don't make me no difference, I'm still going to find Umbra and finish the job." Rogue said as he uncrossed his arms and started walking again.
