Chapter 1
Vice principal Luna was sitting in her office stressed and wanting the day to be over. She had to deal with a couple of students fighting, she had business meetings with the school board and just wanted that final bell to ring.
Luna's speaker on her desk sounded. "Luna, a student's here for you." said her secretary.
"Send them in." Luna groaned.
The student was a girl withdark gray skin, orange eyes & long black hair with light blue streaks. She wore a black jacket, blue shirt, black skirt & dark blue boots.
"Hi mom." said Aurora Veil.
"Aurora? What are you doing here?" asked Luna.
"I can't see my mom?" asked Aurora.
"You're supposed to be in school." answered Luna.
"I'm passing everything, besides I currently have my free period as my last of the day, so I have nothing to do for the next hour." said Aurora.
"Doesn't mean you can leave school & come here." said Luna.
"You & dad skipped classes all the time, got high, drunk and banged in a movie theater. That's why I'm here." said Aurora.
"Things that I want you not to do." said Luna.
"I'm only getting high & banging Lemon Zest, So don't worry, you won't become a grandma." said Aurora.
Luna held her head in her hands, after a minute she lifted her head up. "What does your father think about this?" she asked.
"He's not happy, but I tell him, I still like dicks! I just got turned on by Lemon's ama-----" said Aurora.
"STOP!" said Luna.
"Too much?" said Aurora.
"Yes, what does he think about you smoking?" asked Luna.
"He's not happy about that either." said Aurora.
Aurora's phone buzzed.   
"Who's that?" asked Luna.
"Lemon, she's waiting in the hallway next to the offices." answered Aurora.
"Tell her to come in." said Luna.
"Hey!!!!" said Lemon awkwardly when she walked in, she was wearing a lime green jacket, pink shirt, blue pants & blue boots.
Aurora pulled her into a quick kiss & Lemon sat on Aurora's lap.  
"Nice to see you again." said Luna.
"Same, I uh apologize just showing up here." said Lemon.
"I'll talk with Dean Cadence about you both leaving during school hours, but if you do it again. I'm not helping you two." said Luna.
"Completely understandable." said Lemon.
"Do you do that-" said Luna.
"In front of dad? Yeah." said Aurora.
"He kicked me out last night." said Lemon.
"Sorry my ex is---" said Luna.
"Controlling?" asked Lemon.
"He’s more a tad strict, it's one of the reasons why we're not together." said Luna.
"That and mom caught him in bed with aunt Tia. said Aurora.
"WHOA!" said Lemon.
"AURORA!" said Luna.
"Wait, so is Mr. Sombra & Principal Celestia still dating?" asked Lemon.
"No, but Celestia & I didn't talk for 4 months after I found them together." answered Luna.
"WAIT! This means your half-brother Leo is also….." said Lemon.
"My cousin." said Aurora.
"Yes, our family tree is unusual." said Luna.
“Hey, Can I stay with you for a bit?” asked Aurora.
"What…. .” answered Luna.
"I want to spend more time with you.” said Aurora.
"Uh…I’ll talk with your father about it.” said Luna.
“Thanks, dad's being a pain.” said Aurora.
“You don’t do yourself any favors.” said Luna.
The speaker on Luna’s desk buzzed. "Luna, your sister needs to see you." said the secretary.
"With what?" asked Luna.
"Budget for the spring formal." answered the secretary.
"Alright." Luna sighed.
"Duty calls." said Aurora.
"You two stay here." said Luna.
"That was easier than I thought." Aurora said..
"Will your mom let us all hang out at her house?" asked Lemon.
“I can talk her into it.” answered Aurora.
“My mom’s letting me move in with her.” Aurora texted the group chat.
“Nice.” Indigo Zap texted.
“When do we come over?” Tempest Shadow texted.
“I’ll say 7:30 tomorrow.” Aurora texted.
“This will end horribly.” Sugarcoat texted.
“Shut it Sugar.” Soursweet texted.
“Not everything ends bad Sugar.” Lemon texted.
“Things will be fine.” Sunny Flare Texted.
“Most parents don’t let their kids have parties at their house.” Sugarcoat texted.
“Aurora’s mom did do some wild stuff as a teen, so she’s cool.” Lemon Texted.
“Like What?” Tempest Texted.
“She & my dad smoked like me, drank & I was conceived in a movie theater.” Aurora Texted.
“Your Dad? Mr. “Don’t do anything fun” did that stuff? I don’t believe it.” Indigo Texted.
“That doesn’t matter, now that Aurora’s got a better place.” Soursweet Texted.
“I just asked my dad & he'll let me stay over tomorrow, if we can.” Sunny Texted.
“Great” Tempest Texted.
“That was annoying.” said Luna, re-entering her office.
“Trouble?” asked Aurora.
“No, sometimes it’s just too much for one day.” said Luna.
When the bell to end school sounded Aurora & Lemon waited outside for Luna. Lemon was sitting on the Statue platform while Aurora leaned up against it.
Aurora unexpectedly started to sink into the portal. “LEMON!!!” Aurora yelled.
Lemon jumped off the statue and went to pull Aurora out, but Lemon was pulled in as well. The two were spit into Princess Twilight’s study.
“Ugh where are we?” asked Lemon.
“A Library.” answered Aurora.
“Um Aurora.” said Lemon.
“Yeah?” said Aurora.
“Why are we horses?” asked Lemon, who noticed Aurora.
Aurora & Lemon looked over each other, Aurora was an alicorn with orange eyes, a gray coat, with a black & light blue mane & tail and she had a cutie mark which was a white star on a light blue full moon.
Lemon Zest was a pink fur coated earth pony with yellow eyes, a lime green man & tail, her cutie mark was a green pie surrounded by orange music notes, she also still had her headphones.
“I have no idea.” said Aurora.
“Who cares, this is really cool!” smiled Lemon.
“I wouldn't say cool, I liked being a human!” said Aurora, her horn glew orange.
“Aurora.” said Lemon.
“What?” Aurora asked.
“Your horn’s glowing.” answered Lemon.
“Ahhh, how do I make it stop?” asked Aurora.
“Like I would know.” said Lemon.
Aurora panicked and accidentally fired and small orange magic blast and it made a hole in Princess Twilight’s bookshelf, destroying some books.
“Uh-oh.” said Aurora.
“We need to get out of here.” said Lemon.
“Where are we going to go?” asked Aurora.
“Back through that portal.” answered Lemon.
The two heard hoofsteps approaching the door, they ran through the portal. The door to the study opened and Princess Twilight walked in reading a scroll, a piece of a book floated down & landed on her head.
“Huh? NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOW!, WHO!, WHAT!, WHEN! MY BABIES!!!!!!!!!!!!” Princess Twilight sobbed seeing her destroyed books.
“Twilight are you okay?” asked Spike walking in.
“SPIKE! Someone destroyed my preciouses!” said Princess Twilight.
“Can’t you just magic them back to normal?” asked Spike.
“HOW DARE YOU! THEY WON'T BE THE SAME!” said Princess Twilight.
“Geez, well who did this?” asked Spike.
“I will be doing a thorough investigation and will bring the murdered of my babies to JUSTICE!” said Princess Twilight.
“Where do you want to start?” asked Spike.
“Well I--” Princess Twilight stopped when she heard & saw the portal humming. “Oh sweet me.” she groaned.
Back in the human world Aurora was pacing around.  
“Oh my god, what the hell.” said Aurora.
“Let’s just calm down.” said Lemon.
“Really calm down?” said Aurora.
“Look, we’re fine, let’s just get your stuff from your dad’s, take it to your mom’s and we’ll hang with the rest of the girls tomorrow.” said Lemon.
Aurora took a deep breath. “Alright, you're right.” she said.
“Are you girls ready?” asked Luna.
“Yes, d-d-did you ask dad?” asked Aurora.
“He agreed to let you move in with me.” answered Luna.
The rainbooms were practicing their songs in the music room, they stopped when they saw a red light coming from Sunset’s bag.  
“What’s Princess Twilight want?” asked Rainbow.
“Let me check.” answered Sunset, walking to her bag.
“Hey, Aurora Veil & Lemon Zest are here.” said Pinkie, looking out the window.
“Looks like they got busted by Vice Principal Luna.” said Rainbow.
“What do you think they’re doing?” asked Applejack.
“Aren’t our schools supposed to be friends now?” asked Rarity.
“Maybe that was a load of bull.” said Rainbow.
“Give them the benefit of the doubt.” said Fluttershy.
“Yeah Lemon is really nice.” said Twilight.
“She might be, but Aurora participated in burning all that CHS stuff. She probably talked Lemon into doing a stupid prank or something.” said Rainbow.
“I don’t see anything in their hands, except for Lemon’s headphones & their backpacks.” said Rarity.
“They probably got spray paint in them.” said Rainbow.
“Looks like Luna’s taking them to her office.” said Fluttershy, seeing them walk together.
”Eeh, doesn’t look like Luna’s taking them to the office.” said Twilight.
“Then where are they going?” asked Pinkie.
“To the parking lot.” answered Rarity.
“Are their parents there?” asked Twilight.
“They walked out of sight.” said Applejack.
“That stinks, I was hoping to see the end of that.” said Rainbow.
“Anyway, Sunset, what did Princess Twilight want?” asked Rarity.
“She said someone wrecked her study and they went through the portal.” answered Sunset.
“Great, now we have to worry about an equestrian nutjob.” groaned Rainbow.
“At least they shouldn’t have access to any magic.” said Fluttershy.
The ride to Sombra’s house was quiet and when they got there, he already had a couple boxes filled with Aurora's stuff sitting on the kitchen table. Orion Sombra was 6 foot/6 inches tall, he had dark gray skin, long black hair, red eyes. He was wearing a black button shirt, gray pants & black shoes.
Sombra was sitting in the chair in the living room, drinking a beer.  
“Dad?” said Aurora.
“Aurora, you & Lemon go get your clothes.” said Luna.
Aurora nodded and the two went upstairs.  
“I had a shit day at work & then you call me saying Aurora doesn’t want to live here anymore.” said Sombra.
“You’ve had her all the time up until now.” said Luna.
“I saw her girlfriend’s here.” said Sombra.
“Why’d you kick her out? Not happy with her choice?” asked Luna.
Sombra turned around. “I walked in on them having sex on the couch. I take it she didn’t tell you that detail.” he said.
“No she didn’t.” said Luna.
“That’s why I stopped letting her have her friends over, Aurora didn’t tell me about her girlfriend being over that day, because I would’ve been home sooner.” said Sombra.
“What about her smoking pot?” asked Luna.
“I’ve talked to her about it, but she doesn’t listen.” answered Sombra.
“Do you approve of her-” Luna started.
“I don’t care who she sees, I just don’t want to walk in on anything & at least be told.” said Sombra.
Luna sat in his lap & kissed him on the forehead. “Give me some of that.” she said, taking the bottle.
“What about driving?” asked Sombra.
“She’s got her license.” answered Luna.
Upstairs Aurora was putting her clothes in a duffle bag & a suitcase.  
“Do you think anyone else knows about that portal?” asked Aurora.
“Sunset & her friends do.” answered Lemon.
“Really?” asked Aurora.
“Yea, Sunset comes from there.” answered Lemon.
"We should go back through it." said Aurora.
"You're serious?" asked Lemon.
"Yeah." answered Aurora.
"You were freaked out by your horn glowing." said Lemon.
"Now that I know what to expect, I can handle it better." said Aurora.
Back downstairs Luna & Sombra each took a couple more drinks before she leaned in and kissed him on the lips. He pushed his tongue in her mouth playing with hers. the back of the chair came apart and they both fell to the floor.  
"AHHHHHH!" Luna yelled.
"You okay?" asked Sombra.
"Yeah, sorry about the chair." said Luna.
"Best way to break it." said Sombra.
Luna got on top of him. "We're not done yet." she said.
He rubbed his hands over her body, She laid down on him, he held her tight, kissing her forehead.  
"That was nice." said Sombra.
"Shhhh." shushed Luna, wanting to keep the moment.
Back upstairs.  
"When do you want to do this?" asked Lemon.
"Tomorrow? We drive to CHS, go through the portal and explore." answered Aurora.
"I don't know." said Lemon.
"You don't want to explore more? You did say it was cool." said Aurora.
"Yeah I did." said Lemon.
"Alright let's go." said Aurora.
They walked downstairs and found Aurora's parents making out in the kitchen & a five open beers on the counter.  
"AH!" said Lemon.
"Seriously!" said Aurora.
"Hey sweetie." said Luna, hugging her daughter.
Aurora & Lemon got a whiff of Luna's drunk breath.  
"We're not going anywhere." said Aurora.
"Hey, we got toooo tke you stuff home." said Luna.
Aurora broke the hug. "Not right now." she said.
"I said you shouldn't srink." said Sombra.
"Let's get water for you two." said Aurora.
Over the next hour, Luna & Sombra drank water and then they fell asleep on the couch. Aurora & Lemon were the kitchen making dinner, Aurora was making spaghetti.
"You're a nice little cook." said Lemon.
"Dad likes to cook, so he taught me." said Aurora.
Luna stirred awake. "Fuck." she said, seeing herself & Orion.
She got off him & walked into the kitchen head pounding.  
"Ms. Luna." said Lemon.
"Hey sleeping beauty." said Aurora.
"Sorry, for you seeing me like this Lemon." said Luna, getting a bottle of water from the fridge.
"It's okay." said Lemon.
"So what's the deal? You & dad getting back together?" asked Aurora.
"No, that was a mistake." said Luna.
"Is it? Clearly you still have feelings for dad." said Aurora.
"I still love him, I tried to make it work even after I found him with Tia. But we had arguments, so the ship has sailed." said Luna.
Aurora hugged her mom, after a few minutes. Aurora stopped the hug, but her eyes were a little red.
"Okay, I'm making dinner, so scram." said Aurora.
A couple minutes later Sombra woke.  
"We put on a terrible show." said Luna.
"Yup." said Sombra.
"Another mistake we made together." said Luna.
"We still made her, not all bad." said Sombra.
"She's the one good thing." said Luna.
"You know Tia & Leo are going to find out about this." said Luna.
"I know." said Sombra.
Speaking of which the door opened and in came Leo Spark, he had white skin, black hair with pink streaks and pink eyes. He was wearing a CPA varsity jacket, red shirt with a gold Lion head on it, blue pants & blue shoes.
"Hey dad ……hi aunt Luna." said Leo.
"Hi Leo." said Luna.
"How was school?" asked Sombra.
"Fine….. why is the recliner broken?" asked Leo.
"They were making out." said Aurora, walking in.
"So what's going on here?" asked Leo.
"Nothing, it was a mistake, nothing more." answered Luna.
“Leo come here.” said Aurora.
“What now?” asked Leo.
“You know magic exists right?” asked Aurora.
“Yes.” answered Leo.
“Well, at CHS there’s a portal to a world where you become a magical unicorn in the base of their unicorn statue.” said Aurora.
“How do you know this?” asked Leo.
“The two of us went through it.” said Aurora.
“Are you okay?” asked Leo.
“We’re fine, so I was wondering if you want to go through it?” asked Aurora.
“Sure.” answered Leo.
At Sunset’s house the rainbooms with princess Twilight gathered.  
“Any Luck?” asked Sunset.
“A little, I made a device which read that the magical blast which destroyed my bookshelf came from an Alicorn.” answered Princess Twilight.
“So Celestia, Luna, Cadence or Flurry destroyed your bookcase?” asked Sunset.
“I assume it’s one of your world’s versions of the princesses.” said Princess Twilight.
“Our Celestia, Luna & Cadence know to be careful around the portal.” said Rarity.
“And my Shining & Cadence just had their Flurry.” said Twilight.
“One of them still could’ve fallen in.” said Princess Twilight.
The next morning Aurora, Leo & the Shadowbolt girls arrived at CHS.  
“This better be worth it.” said Soursweet.
“Yeah, it’s saturday.” said Indigo Zap.
Aurora touched the portal and it shimmered.  
“It’s active.” said Aurora.
“Well, go first.” said Sugarcoat.
One by one they entered the portal, Leo was an alicorn like his sister. He had a white fur coat, black & pink mane and tail, his cutie mark was half sun-half moon.
Indigo Zap was a pegasus, with a yellow coat, blue mane & tail, her cutie mark was a black cloud with a blue lightning bolt coming from it.
Soursweet was a pegasus as well, with a yellow coat, pink & teal mane & tail, her cutie mark was a red heart with teal cracks in it,
Sunny Flare was an earth pony with a teal coat, purple & pink mane & tail, her cutie mark was a pink sun, peeking behind & white cloud with blue rain drops.
Sugarcoat was a unicorn with black glasses, a white & light blue mane & tail, her cutie mark was pink & purple candy book.
Lastly Tempest was almost like the Equestria Tempest with the main difference being Human Tempest’s horn wasn’t broken and her mane & tale were flatter & longer.
“This is weird.” said Sunny, trying to walk.”
“I love it!” said Indigo, flying up in the air.
“Why do you two have horns & wings? That’s unfair.” Soursweet asked Aurora & Leo.
“How are we supposed to know?” said Leo.
“Maybe they’re like Twilight & Sunset, remember they grew wings & horns when they absorbed magic.” answered Sugarcoat.
The door to the study opened and Spike entered.  
“What the!” said Spike.
“A dragon!” said Lemon Zest running up to Spike. “Can you breathe fire?” she asked.
“Uh, yeah.” answered Spike and he breathed a little fire.
“Cool.” said Lemon.
“Hold on, Tempest? who are these ponies & the two …..alicorns?” asked Spike.
“You know who I am?” asked Tempest.
“Um. yeah……wait are you….” Spike then walked to the portal.
“Mr. Dragon, how do you know Tempest?” asked Lemon.
Spike turned around. “Because she’s not our Tempest.” he answered.
“How do you know?” asked Lemon.
“We’re standing outside the portal.” answered Sugarcoat.
“All of you back through the portal, now!” Spike Thundered.
“No way, we just got here.” said Indigo Zap.
“Yeah, what's the harm in us being here?” asked Sunny Flare.
“Because you’re not supposed to be.” said Spike.
Aurora’s horn glewed. “We want to be.” she said.
“Calm down.” said Spike.
Leo’s horn glew pink, Sugarcoat’s horn glew blue & Tempest’s glew red. The four blasted Spike, knocking him through the portal. Spike became a dog in the human world, he ran back inside to the portal and the 8 were gone.
“Sunset! Twilight! The Human Tempest Shadow & seven others came through the portal and are running around somewhere in Equestria.” Spike wrote.
Sunset’s journal Vibrated. “What’s Spike want?” asked Princess Twilight.
Sunset showed the girls the message.  
“We have to go now.” said Sunset.
The rainbooms plus Princess Twilight all went to Equestria.  
“Twilight’s…?” said Spike.
“What did the other seven with Human Tempest look like Spike?” asked Princess Twilight.
“A pink earth pony with headphones, a blue unicorn, two yellow pegasi, a teal earth pony and two alicorns.” answered Spike.
“Do any of you have an idea of who the other seven are?” asked Princess Twilight to the rainbooms.
“Got it! The pink pony is Lemon Zest, the pegasi are Indigo Zap & Soursweet, the blue unicorn is Sugarcoat and the teal earth pony is Sunny Flare.” answered Sunset.
“What about the alicorns? They were a male & female.” asked Spike.
“Sunset, do you think one’s Aurora?” asked Rarity.
“Aurora?” asked Princess Twilight.
“Aurora Veil’s another girl that hangs with human Tempest.” answered Sunset.
“The female alicorn has a gray coat, black & light blue mane and orange eyes.” said Spike.
“That fits Aurora’s description.” said Rainbow.
“What about the male Alicorn? & Why would two humans turn into alicorns?” Princess Twilight wondered.
“We can worry about that later, let’s find them.” said Sunset.
