Episode 1: The Beginning of An Adventure
In the city New York it was a nice early morning with people of New York waking up and going about their everyday lives and in an apartment a 15 year old girl named Emma wakes up in her room as she checked her phone to check what time it was and saw it was 9:30 AM and after checking the time she went to check for messages until she read one from her friend which said.
‘Did you hear from the news that somebody mysteriously disappeared after playing a game?!’ Her friend wrote.
Emma was confused after seeing the message she scratched her neck in confusion as she searched for evidence on Google before she found one news article which read…
‘After playing the all cursed game that was not supposed to be in the store the girl mysteriously vanished, the person’s stuff were still in the room and everything was alright except for the blue screen of the girl’s TV’
“Huh? That’s weird, maybe my mom knows something about it or maybe she’s got the game too?” Emma thought.
Afterwards Emma left the room as she went out into the halls until eventually she reached the kitchen where her mom is as she turned to her.
“Morning mom.” Emma greeted
“Oh, morning sweetheart.” Emma’s mom greeted.
After greeting each other Emma went to take a seat at the table as her mom turned around with some pancakes still in the pan which was in her hand.
“Ooh! Pancakes! I like them so much! Thanks for the heartwarming breakfast mom.” Emma said in awe.
“Oh, thanks sweetheart, you’re so kind.” Emma’s mom said happily.
Emma’s mom then went to put two plates on the table before bringing the pan to the table as she used a spatula to put the pancake on Emma’s plate which she then covered with her favorite food, chocolade before she rolled it up and when she did she turned to her mom who also did the same except with some sugar.
“Say mom, have you heard the news or at least have you heard about the mysterious disappearance of a girl?” Emma asked
“Hmm, yeah I did but I never knew this game could be that dangerous, I even have that same game that I never played but I’m so happy I didn't play it.” Emma’s mom explained.
“Huh? Why?” Emma asked.
Emma’s mom then turned away in worry.
“Maybe since you’re older it is time I told you a story about your dad.” Emma’s Mom explained.
“My dad? What’s up with him?” Emma asked.
“I always told you that your dad was off to get some milk but the truth is he never did, one day he was planning on playing the adult game of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles but when I went to check up on him he disappeared and he never came back, I tried to erase the data to bring him back but when I did I failed to notice that the cover of the disk’s back said doing so will erase the person’s existence and that’s how your dad never came back, I do have one other game but I would not risk playing it!” Emma’s Mom suggested.
“You know mom, I know you feel bad but I will try and bring him back and that other girl, is there a game that can bring them both back?” Emma asked.
“Yes, there is and that’s why I never dared to try it because it is tough and you could fail and even worse die!” Emma’s Mom explained.
“No matter what! I’ll try it out! I’ll bring him back, trust me! You’ll be seeing me alive and well in a few days!” Emma said.
“Are you sure this is a risk you’re willing to take?” Emma’s Mom asked.
“I’m sure! You can count on me!” Emma answered.
“Very well.” Emma’s Mom said.
Afterwards Emma’s mom went to go into the storage and got the DVD before she went back to the kitchen and when she did she turned to Emma.
“Now listen well Emma, I know this might sound weird or stupid but you have to promise me something while you’re in the game.” Emma’s Mom suggested.
“What is it?” Emma asked.
“You have to promise me you’ll find those you can trust to help you on this journey no matter how hard the task is and remember never lose sight of who you truly are.” Emma’s Mom suggested.
“I will, I’ll see you when I’m back.” Emma said.
Emma then went to her room and brought the disk with her before she entered her room, grabbed a few stuff she needed for this journey and then puts the disk in the player before it slid away and when she did she turned on the screen as she saw the only Data file in it as she took a deep breath grabbed her suitcase and pressed play before she was sent into the game swirling with her suitcase.
After being sucked into the game she felt herself stretching as she got a horn, wings and her hands and feet were turned into hooves as she gained a beige skin color before landing harshly on the ground with her suitcase landing right beside her and when she did she saw some stars swirling above her before she shook them off as she found herself on some stone streets as she began to struggle standing up which some on lookers caught which made her a bit nervous and worried.
“Hehe, hi, I’m new here” Emma waved nervously.
After greeting herself nervously some onlookers began whispering to themselves before a mare with beige skin, gray mane and tail with a lighter gray stripe, wearing a white collar along with a red tie along with a cutie mark of a tied up letter approached her as she helped her up
“Oh dear, are you alright, you’re not hurt are you?”’ The pony asked.
"No, I'm fine.” Emma answered
“Oh, that’s fine dear, say, did you come from some sort of portal up there?” The pony asked, pointing to the sky.
"Portal?" Emma asked looking into the sky and saw the portal disappearing. "Oh yeah I was, um, trying a new spell" She answered.
“Oh okay, hehe, so, where are you from?” The pony asked.
"Um nowhere you would know." Emma says waving her hoof.
“Okay then, well, since you’re here do you want to get situated in one of the houses or in a tree house?” The pony asked.
After being asked the question a screen that only Emma can see appeared with the words quests.
You have been transported into the world of equestria you must help the heroes of this world to save equestria from the threats that want to do harm to it.
You have been given the choices of two places you can live. Depending on your choice it will affect the way the world will be played out so make sure to make your choices wisely as some will cause good things while others will bring harm.
After seeing this she saw the three houses and the mother houses mentioned to her before so now she has to pick one.
"Hmm I'm given these two options but from what I saw whatever I pick might change the outcome of how this world story ends up so I need to look at this closely and carefully.” Emma thought.
“So, what’s it gonna be?” The pony asked.
Mayor Mare went to stand at one of the doors as she noticed the one she stood at was not choosable so she looked at the other two carefully.
After making her observation Emma finally noticed something. "Wait a minute, why is that one of my houses option is a literal tree house while the others are normal houses? If the second option is a treehouse that must mean it will be important later on if so then I know what I need to pick." Emma thought.
"I know where I want to live." Emma finally answered.
“Really, where?!” The pony asked.
"I want to live in a regular house please." Emma answered.
“Alright, do you have any bits?” The pony asked.
"Bits?" Emma asked before realizing it must be this world form of money. "Oh um no it would seem I must've left them back at the place I used to live sorry." She says apologetically.
“Don’t worry, we can give you this house for 3 months if that’s okay?” The pony asked.
"Yes thank you very much I promise to pay you back for the house when I get the bits." Emma reminded
“Very well, it’s fine dear, go ahead and get suited inside.” The pony suggested.
"Thank you um miss?" Emma says as she asks for the mare's name.
“Oh, call me Mayor Mare or Mayor if you want.” The pony suggested.
"Oh okay thank you Mayor." Emma says with a smile as she grabs her things and goes into one of the empty houses.
After entering the house she wished for she noticed a book on the desk which made her confused, making her approach it.
"What's this?" Emma asked herself.
Afterwards Emma went to the book and opened it up and when she did she didn’t see herself nor anything else except the scenes flashing from the book as a narrator began talking.
“Once upon a time in the magical land of Equestria there lived two regal sisters who ruled together and created harmony for a lifetime, the eldest raised the sun as ponies played in her basked sun while the younger raised the moon for ponies to sleep in but one day the youngest sister had enough of that routine and turned to the dark side where she unfortunately transformed into Nightmare Moon, the evil alicorn of the night, she vowed that she would create eternal night but the elder sister used some of the magical elements of harmony to defeat the evil sister and banished her to the moon, and what may that power be you may ask, well they’re the Elements of Harmony and after defeating her sister, the eldest began raising both the sun and the moon for a 1000 years until now” The narrator explained.
Afterwards Emma noticed herself back in the room.
“What was that? Was that some book vision or something?” Emma asked herself.
Afterwards Emma went to put her stuff away before she went to lay in bed.
“Don’t worry mom, I’ll be back home before you know it” Emma thought to herself.
Emma then went to sleep thinking of all the possibilities that can happen in this game and when she did she noticed there was a menu which read stuff such as her skills, her level and more which she then began checking out in her sleep preparing herself for the next day.
