During an 111th birthday party, Scootaloo tries to find Pinkie Pie for advice on how to be happy. And by that, she asks Pinkie Pie why she's happy all the time. Scootaloo, having been orphaned and relatively to herself for as long as she can remember, wonders what the point of life is at an early age.
