Chapter one. "Ugh my head..."Came a rough voice deep in the Everfree forest, the usual "peace" of the forest had been disturbed by something magical happening. The owner of the voice was a 13-year-old male human, with brown hair, blue eyes and roughly "6'0" in height and had a rough mustache and goatee. Slowly he got up. "Well, I've can barely feel anything but at least I have proper bladder control." He thought looking around, taking in the thick green forest enviorment. "I wonder where I am...Sweet, Celestia... Wait who's Celestia?" The strange creature's eyes rested on four creatures, one with wings and was airborne, one with a single horn, one with a.. Stetson? And an other bright pink one. After a moment of silence, the first who spoken was the cyan colored flying one. "Sup?" "Okay, the flying horse thing can speak english,this just gets better and better doesn't it?" he thought "You mean Equestrian, right? And what are you?" The lavender one with the horn asked. "Okay, first: You...Can...Talk...." Second: I am a human, I come from Earth. Third: who are you, and where am I?" "Well I'm Twilight Spar- " "HAHAHAHAAHHA! Oh My God, are you serious? Your name is Twilight? HAHAHAHAHA! Who would call their child that?" "Hey y'all best watch what you're saying about ma' friends!" Came a voice from the orange horse, with a southern accent. "Oh my god, a horse with a country accent.... My life is complete." Spoke the strange creature, causing the orange one to blush slightly. "Thank you kindly sir but I'm not a horse, I'm a pony!" "W-w-w-w-wait a second, pony.....sweet Celestia I'm in Equestria" "Well duh, where else could you be?" Spoke the now recognized pink earth-pony, Pinkie Pie. "Not important but that would make you Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Applejack and Twilight Sparkle." Pointing to each of the ponies as he talked. "How did you know that?" Asked Twilight. "Ummm your famous of course everybody knows who you all are, but how the hay did I get here? Wait hay? And where are Rarity and Fluttershy?" "They were too busy to come and... We don't know. We saw an explosion about an hour ago, so we came to investigate it, and we were told to bring what we find to the princess...Sooo." As she spoke the human became enveloped in a purple aura. "HEY STOP THAT, I'M NOT SOME LAB RAT! NOW PUT ME DOWN!" a shocked Twilight, and she dropped him, making him faceplant into the ground. Quickly recovering, he dusted himself off. "Okay, I know your names. I suppose I should tell you mine... But instead, I'll tell you my nickname: Ice. And to prevent the further questions, I'm a Human." He looked proud while said this. "Ooo-kay... But I really need to show you to the princess or she might think I've failed, and then she'll make me do a test and what if I don't pass I'll have to go to.....*gasp* Magic Kinder garden" "Hold on Twi, I'll come with you, just don't pick me up with magic, deal?" "Deal." she charged up her horn with magic and told everypony to hold on to each other.Ice was reluctant at first but eventually decided to trust this small lavender pony and take a chance. After a quick teleportation and apologizing to the maids for Ice puking on the carpet, the group headed into the throne room."Makes sense I can travel through dimensions feeling a little woozy but teleportation is off the list" he thought to himself. "Princess Celestia!" Twilight called out while she and everyone else bowed. "Ah! Twilight Sparkle, my most faithful student, what did you find on your investigation?" "Well we met a strange creature called a... Hu-man...and he's right here." Ice looked up and waved to the princess, only to see her look at him blankly as if she had just noticed him got the first time. "So, human, what are you doing here in Equestria and what is your name, may I inquire?" "Well honestly I don't know why I'm but I tell can tell you my name it's Ice." He said trying not to let the pressure of talking to a princesses killing him. "He's lying that's only his nickname!" Came a southern voice behind him. "No I'm not lying, I'm only telling three-fifths of the truth, there is a difference you know." He responded to Applejack with a cocky smile. "Three-fifths?" Celestia raised an eyebrow "This human is strange I will have to investigate his mental state" "Yeah, you know I'm giving you three letters of my name, which has 5, so three-fifths." Ice crossed his arms and had a very confident expression while he said this. The princess just stared at him before she broke the silence with the wrong word: "GUARDS!".Twilight looked scared,Pinkie looked well like Pinkie and Applejack just looked confused by the current turn of events. Ice's reaction was simple however. "Heh, I needed some sparring practice for Tae-Kwon-Do anyway!" he could hear shouting and the tapping of hooves as the guards neared the door Ice cracked his knuckles and said "Come at me Bro!"
Hindsight and gamingView OnlineWhy me?Hindsight and gamingSince I got a lot of feedback compared to my first story I'm decided to update this three times a week Monday, Wednesday and I'll you guys decide the third day not Tuesday or Sunday though. The door to the throne room burst open as four guards entered the room ready to take on anypony or anything. However what the guards weren't expecting was a primate looking creature twice their height, while the foe might have seemed bigger, the royal guard are trained soldiers. "BAD MOVE ROOKIE!" shouted Ice as he clenched his hand into a fist then swung at the guard with a backhand sending him spiraling across the floor,for about five seconds, Ice looked smugly at the other three guards but then the short-term adrenaline rush faded. "AAAAHHHH MY HAND!!" he grabbed his hand and started blowing on it. "Note to self hit them, not their helmets," as he looked up he saw the three guards descend upon him "Buck," The first guard jumped in the air hoping to knock out the creature only to be knocked off course by a rising block, however his comrade, must have thought of this, spun round on hind legs facing towards the creature and then, using the momentum from the rotation, kicked the creature in the chest making a very nice cracking sound. Said guard was knocked to the ground when the creature began to flail managing a lucky (or unlucky for the guard to score a lucky hit groin. The creature the curled up into a fetal position muttering several unintelligible words which then turned into him shouting various insults to nobody in particular as he felt himself drifting off into a unconscious state. He later awoke to find himself in some sort of cage,the bars were slightly rusted and it he had to sit so he didn't hit his head off the top of it. Apon furter investigation of the room he finds himself surrounded by guards and he Celestia on a sort of podium staring at him "Court is in session" "Release the prisoner" she shouted "Huh?" thought Ice but then he ralized what was going on after some shackles appeared round his wrists and feet."You are accused of three charges of assualt,one charge of resisting arrest and one charge of illegal use of inter-dimensional travel,how do you plead?" Ice put on his court face it was mixture of seriousness and experience "Not guilty,your honor." "We have seven witnesses including myself of you attacking four royal guards while sending two of the to an early retirement and you plead not guilty, explain yourself" Ice chuckled slightly at thought of sending to guys to retirment but kept his court face "Firstly I would the three charges of assault removed from the court record I was simply defending myself from the guards when they decided to attack instead of asking me to come with them" he looked happy with what he had said. "OBJECTION" Ice looked across the room to see Twilight with her hoof pointing towards Ice "You have got to be kidding me" he thought "According to royal protocall 863 "A guard may attack an accused if they find it wise" these guards were simply following their better judgement as we saw with the humans violent nat-" "OBJECTION" roared Ice back. "Like I said, it was self defense I don't know the laws here but I am pretty sure defending yourself from an attacker is well within anybody's or ponies rights. "He has a point Miss Sparkle" Celestia pointed out obviously she didn't want anypony to know she was friend with her. "The court removes the three charges of assault" Ice chuckled softly knowing he stood a good chance of getting out of there untouched. "However the charges of resisting the law and illegal use of.." "OBJECTION" everypony started at Ice surprised by how loud he could shout. "I accept the charge of resistance of the law but I don't know how I got here or why I'm here plus if I could travel between the dimensions wouldn't have I escaped already?" "Charge removed" Celestia obviously thought she could have pulled that one off but her own laws required her to remove it. "The final charge I accept and I will take punishment that is deemed appropriate" Ice chuckled all the hours playing Phoenix Wright had finally payed off. "You must understand Mister..." "Kilmurray" "I'm sorry KILLmurray?" "No no Kilmurray as in one l not two before you start thinking that,sure it's pronounced like that but still." "Hmmm I sentence you to-" "OBJECTION" everpony looked at Ice but he raised his hands in innocence and look at Twilight." "Your honor I request that his sentence should be community service in ponyville so I can study him and mabye the quite will remove his violent side." "I agree Mr.Kilmurray or Ic-.." "Brice" "I'm sorry?" "My name is caused this trouble so I'm telling you it Brice see three fifths." "May I continue?" "eeyup" he responded doing his best Big Mac impression Applejack just stared at him thinking "Not another one" "Mr.Kilmurray you shall spend two years in ponyvile helping everypony you see while Miss.Sparkle shall study you and you will inform her about your world,do we have an understanding?" "Yes your honor thank you" he was feeling pretty smug right about now. An hour later of sorting out paper work and such the group set off just to be stopped by a guard thrusting a rucksack into Brices arms and flying off."HEY COME BACK WHAT'S IN THIS?" "It's yours silly" came Pinkies voice, Ice investigated the bag it had a little lock the bag it had a number lock on the front "It can't be" he thought,he turned the dials till they were at 1998 them it came undone.Ice put the lock back on changed the put the code as 9723 and walked "You aren't going to see what's in there?" asked Twilight glancing at the bag. "Nope, already know," and with that he walked towards the carriage. As the carriage took off Twilight began to harass Brice about things about his world as he sat staring out of the window trying to ignore her, it was roughly another five minutes before he broke and agreed to talk. "Okay, what do you want to know?" he groaned. "Where exactly do you come from?" she asked grabbing a scroll and quill. "Told you earth." he said raising an eyebrow "No, I mean where specifically." "Ah,I see what you mean Scotland it's one of the smaller places granted but still it's nice if you don't mind the weather." "Which is...?" "Rain." "What else?" "Tiny bit of sunshine now and then but that about covers it oh and a lot of snow" "Really but how does your planet survive?" "I do physics not biology so I not entirely sure,but what I do know is that our planet is the perfect distance from the sun so we get just enough heat ,not to much mind, to survive" "So who raises your sun and moon" Brice had been waiting for this question he had thought of millions of things to say but he decided to go with the truth. "Nobody," all around the carriage the ponies exchanged a confused look. "Um, that's not possible, for that happen your planet would have to naturally revolve around the sun while the moon revolved around the planet, and that's just not possible." she said sharply. "Yeah, that's pretty much it." It was Rainbow dash who spoke this time "BUT HOW?" "I'm not a science teacher I'm not explaining all of this." "Oh yes you will, the princess said you had to," responded Twilight. "True enough, but I have two years to do this and trust me I ain't explaining this until I'm comfortable around all of you." The group sat silently until Brice noticed his bag was moving was enveloped in a purple aura,he went to grab it only to have zoom across to Twilight. "GIVE THAT BACK!" "Why would I do that?" asked Twilight Brice really wanted to threaten Twilight but that would just prove her point that he was violent. "It's personal." "See I want to believe you but it's my job to make sure of these things." she said smugly. Brice thought for a moment then looked surprisingly happy "Alright but on one condition." "Which is?" "You have to use the combination code to get in." Twilight's face betrayed her thoughts "How could he put somepony who has been ordered to investigate him put her into a corner like this, did he not realise the implications of failing to comply?" "Fine, she said, muttering away trying to figure out the combination. "Okay oh and by the way if you fail three times it locks itself for 24 hours" "Best investment ever," he thought. "Oh,before you do." he quickly took the bag of Twilight while grabbing something out of it then closing it again. "Go ahead." The rest of the trip was filled with Twilight's angry rants about how he shou;d tell her the code and her really really scary one about failing a test but he wasn't listening he had his Ipod out and was listening to Disturbed. At the castle: A lone pony entered the throne room he was a pegasus with a blue main and tail,a brown coat and his cutie mark was a wavy blue arrow.He bowed "You called princess?" "Yes,sergeant I want you to go to Ponyville and watch the human Brice and study him," "Princess I understand but isn't Twilight Sparkle already doing this?" "Yes but you are to watch him for I fear he may attack us and his power is coming back to him" "Wait he took down three royal guards with ease and he isn't at full strength?" "Ye,s now you are dismissed, you have three hours to prepare yourself." The pony left throne room "Hey Zephyr what she want?" asked one of the guards "Nothing." Brice could easily see that he was a tall muscular stallion with a red coat and blond tale and mane. "So we gonna hoof wrestle?" asked Brice. "WHAT AM I SAYING THIS GUY WILL RIP MY ARM OFF!" he thought. "Eeyup." said Big Mac as he sat down. "On three!" said Applejack. "One." "........." "Two." "..........." "Three!" Both contenders put all their strength into their arms. After only ten seconds both them broke out in a sweat still exactly where they started, Twenty seconds in every part them was covered in sweat and finally Brice broke the silence. "Wanna call it a draw?" he said hopefully. Big Mac withdrew his hoof and put it forwards for Brice to shake it. "Eeyup." "So how'd it go?" everypony/body turned their heads to see Twilight with some bags. "When did you get here?" "When you decided to hoof wrestle Applejack, I ran off and got the shopping..so who won?" "Me, but then me and Mac here had a draw so it wasn't too bad." Twilight looked stunned. "y-you didn't win Mac?" "Nope." suddenly a jingling sound made Brice turn around to see Applejack with a bag of bits. "Since you'll be working triple tomorrow." She said with a sly grin. Brice let his head hit the table. "Ugh! what the hell is that?" Trying to find the source of the smell, he checked under his bed, in cuboards and everywhere else only to reach the inevitable conclusion. "I need a shower." "TWILIGHT!" suddenly the bedroom door burst open with a huge amount of force. "WHAT'S WRONG?" Twilight looked around the room to see nobody or thing in the room except Brice. "Where's the shower?" Twilight faced hoofed. "Another long day..." they both said simultaneously with each of them chuckling afterwards. After a good five minutes, Brice stepped to out of the shower to hear the front door opening. "Twilight! I'm home!" somebody shouted. "BUCK!" thought Brice. He didn't know Twilight was married or had a boyfriend and he could tell that he wasn't going to be happy seeing Brice in his house. He quickly snuck into his room and put his clothes which surprisingly didn't smell bad. "Okay, I just need to downstairs and out the door without being seen or I could down and explain." he contemplated his thoughts somebody was coming up the stairs."WHAT THE HAY ARE YOU DOING HERE!" Brice turned around to see a small purple blob approaching him in midair. Instinctively he punched the blob as soon as it was within his range. "BUCK MY HAND!" Brice didn't what he had hit but whatever it was it must have been armor plated because it hurt a lot more than when he had hit the guards head armor. Brice looked at the doorway to a small dragon slowly get to his feet and Twilight approaching him with her eyes full of rage. "WHAT WERE YOU DOING BRICE!!" Brice jumped back. "He tried to attack me, so I defended myself." Brice had his court face on now despite being terrified of what Twilight could and might do to him. "I doubt that!" she turned to look at the little dragon "Spike, what happened?" "Well I saw him in the room and I tried to ask him who he was but he booted me full force in the face" the second Twilight turned to face Brice he had an evil smile on his face. "Okay, let's say I did kick you. Explain the blood on my hand and the blood on your tooth." Spike must have not noticed but Brice was observant when it mattered and right now it mattered."Spike? Is this true? Did you attack him?" "N..but.....I...yes." "Meh. It's good. Just, you know don't 'ask me next time.'" making quotations with his fingers."Anyways! Twilight I meant to see if you charge up my Ipod with magic?" "I could try, but why doesn't it last on it's own?" "Can I explain after you charge it then wait six months?" Twilight filled her horn with energy and touched the device filling it with power. "Wow! that actually worked!" said Twilight with a hint of surprise in her voice. "Course it did! It's a spell, and when you cast spells I bet they work all the time!" Twilight began to blush while Brice just chuckled. While she was distracted, he went to the door and as he was closing it he said, "Going for a walk." It took Twilight a few moments to register what just happened, but when she did she ran out the door to catch Brice, but he was nowhere to be seen. Brice walked around the town a little bit getting glances and strange looks from everypony. Most of them went inside or just kept walking, trying to act like nothing was there."Well nothing much changes. People don't even know me and they are trying to avoid me." He thought holding back a small tear, he shouted in the distance and smoke, "Well, something is going to happen, might as well check it out."As he got closer to the smoke he realized that it wasn't anything bad, but there was an aqua pony with a cape on a stage casting spells and chanting something the lines of "The great and revenge seeking Trixie!" [OH YES I'm going there readers] {OH SNAP SON}.Brice got to the stage in the middle of Trixie's rant. "Now show me where Twilight Sparkle is, for I shall defeat her in a duel of magic and..." "Shut up already!" Somepony called out from the crowd when a HUGE lightning bolt struck down the pony down. "Does anypony else dare to challenge the Great and Powerful Trixie?" she said it with such a cocky tone. Brice couldn't help himself. "I DO!" Everpony turned round expecting to see some great unicorn when their faces turned from surprise to shock when they in place of the "great unicorn", there was a strange creature standing on two legs. "So what can you do that the great and.." "This!" knowing what she was going to say, he started hitting the air in front him like a drum but weirdly enough, a drum could clearly be heard. He then proceeded to play an air guitar and ended playing the entire "strong and strike" tune from Naruto. Everypony looked at him flabbergasted about what had seen and hear, except for Trixie who responded with nothing but a short laugh and a fire bolt sent towards Brice. Brice wasn't stupid but he wanted nothing more than to embarrass this pony, and when he wanted to embarrass somebody, he disregarded the safety of his own to embarrass them. Just before the fire hit him he sent it flying with his left hand which burnt like hell, but he didn't show it. "Heh! Disregard safety for life to piss off obnoxious pony." he thought chuckling to himself. "HOW DARE YOU MOCK THE GREAT AND POWERFUL TRIXIE! YOU SHALL PAY!" Trixie was filled with rage as she picked up hundreds of bricks and aimed them wildly where Brice was. He dodged the ones that were close, but a lot of ponies didn't knocking them unconscious. "I've gotta take her down." he thought as he rushed towards the stage keeping his head low as he got closer and closer to Trixie. The second he second he got on the stage he grabbed Trixe and started pummeling her with his right fist. He would stop every third punch to see if she was okay, but whenever her horn glowed he would continue hitting her. Brice saw nothing but a blood covered Trixie, as he started to punch her muzzle only to feel a huge pain in his side as he was knocked off stage and onto the concrete of the plaza. He slowly got onto his knees thinking that Trixie must have brought a friend in case something like this happened, but as he looked up he saw Twilight and everypony else on stage except for one pony who was right in front of him. "Applejack?" he managed to whisper as she bucked his face sending him flying and lying on the ground again."Buck, I can't move my body." he thought as he managed to glance to his side to see Applejack joining the rest of the group on stage who where helping Trixie up."Why are you helping Trixie, do you forgive her?" Trixie asked as Rainbow Dash helped her up ,"We do Trixie, nopony deserves what happened to you" said Twilight as she glanced over at where Brice was lying on the ground. After helping Trixie and casting some healing spells on her to help her recovery Trixie left Ponyville knowing she had friends. However everypony still had one major issue on their minds, which was Brice. The group approached Brice wondering what drove him to something so cruel. "Brice, are you awake?" No response came. Rainbow Dash flew over him. "C'mon! Your eyes are open. I can see you're awake." She said. "Don't care." Each word was cold. "Brice, why would you ever do something so ghastly to anypony?" He recognized the voice as Rarity's. "I don't understand why you're shocked." Everypony was taken aback by these words. "Look me in the eye and say that." Brice was shocked to hear Twilight say something. "I can't get up since Applejack decided to temporarily paralyze me." As he said those words Twilight used her magic to prop him in a sitting position leaning against the stage. Using her hoof, she raised his head so his eyes looked into her own, but what happened next surprised everypony. "She deserved what she got." Brice looked directly into Twilight's eyes without blinking or moving his eyes in anyway. "You're a monster!" she said, her eyes starting to fill with tears, Brice's head began to fill with flashbacks when the kids picked on him, when he eventually snapped, and beat up the bully who would always taunt him, and call him names, He always thought they would leave him alone, but it only made it worse. "Buck. Off. All. Of. You." Brice's voice was filled with venom. As he spoke his head jerked down as Twilight's magic disappeared and the group walked away. After a couple of minutes Brice's head finally became controllable. As he looked up Spike walked up to him. "What?" seeing Spike didn't make him feel any better, but what shocked him was that spike used his claw to cut a diagonal line at his left eye then walked away. The wound wasn't deep enough to do any real damage but he would be left with a scar. With the new wound, his body started to wake up, but the pain of the burn, the kick and the gash was overwhelming. As he began to black out, he saw a brown figure approach him. He managed to say "I'm sorry." before his world went dark. It began to rain outside the library as Twilight's friends were trying to comfort her. "It's okay sugahcube, I'm sure he's just having a bad day." "If you ask me, he isn't worth crying over." "Rainbow Dash, that is not helping." "What? I'm just saying." "No, she's right." said Twilight, calming down "I should have realized that he would do something like this sooner." As she finished the door opened, but their faces of anger turned back to normal when they saw it was just spike. "Hey Spike, where'd you go?" asked Twilight. "I went to teach that numbskull a lesson." he responded receiving mixed reactions. "Nice one." "what?" "Spike, I didn't think you'd stoop to his level..." "Are you okay?" the group all looked towards the door as Twilight ran out towards the plaza but when she got there, all she could see where Brice used and a puddle with a couple of drops of blood in his stead. Brice began to wake up to the sound of his Ipod playing. He began to rub his head but suddenly noticed that both his hands were bandaged. His right hand only had small one covering the bite mark but his left hand was completley bandaged up. But from what?.... Brice opended his eyes with shock remembering what had happend. He quickly got up but he felt a sharp pain in his ribs. He looked down. He still had his jeans on but his shirt was off and in it's place was a bandage, going down from his left elbow to the damaged area and back again serveral times completely covering it. Also he had bandages covering his left eye. He looked around in the room. He wasn't in the library but it was disturbingly similar, with a different layout but everything was familiar. Thoughts of Mass Effect and the Collectors slowly crept into his head. "Ugh I really need to stop playing RPGs" He thought. Disregarding the previous thought, with further investigation he found his shirt lying on a small table with a note on the side of it. He read it "Hi, I found you at the ponyville plaza just lying there. You had some pretty bad wounds. I'm writing this because I don't know when will you wake up, but in case it's before 9:00 Am don't leave your room I'll be in around then. Brice looked at the walls of the room and saw a small wooden clock on one of them, which read 8:40 Am. "I've got time to get some stretching done" He thought. "Ipod, Skyrim piano theme, 5% volume." He thought and like magic, his Ipod came to life and did exactly that. "Thank you,Twilight" He thought smugly but a frown came onto his face when he thought of the mare. He wasn't sure what to do when he saw her, or in this situation, if he ever saw her again. He put his shirt on quickly and began to stretch a bit, he didn't work out a lot but his basketball and tae-kwon-do provided enough excercise to keep him fairly fit and limber. After doing some stretching to make sure he could bolt it out of wherever he was if required, he looked at the clock. "Hmm 8:57..." He thought and suddenly as if planned, the door opended to reveal a brown stallion with a blue mane and tail. "You coming for breakfast?" As they left his room and walked down into a hall, the stallion decided to strike a conversation. "So what's your name?" Brice had thought about lying to him but for he could tell, this guy saved his life so deserved to know what he wanted. "Brice. You?" "Zephyr Verve but call me just Zeph. And the guy you are about to meet is called Blue Breeze. He's the one who patched you up!" "Ah....look if you mind me asking why?" "Why what?" Zephyr was acting confused, he wanted to see how this "Human" handled itself. "Well you must have seen what happend at the plaza and.... What I did to that pony, so I was wondering why you'd take a possible threat into your home." "Are you a threat?" He knew what the answer was going to be. "No but..." "So what's the problem then?" He asked as he nudged open a door at the end of the hall "I'm not winning this am I?" "Nope." And with that they walked into the living room which was yet again looked the one at the library. "Ah your awake I see!" Came a voice from one of the couches. "You must be Blue Breeze I take it?" He began to walk towards the couch as the stallion got up he was slightly taller than Zephyr he had a blue coat and yellow mane and coat and his cutie mark was a tornado. "Yeah I assume Zeph here explained everything." Brice turned to look at Zeph with a quizzical look on his face. "Long story I'll tell you some other time." Brice began to chuckle at the remark but stopped when he saw Zephyr begin to frown. "Okay where are we?" asked Brice "Um I'd say were about ten minutes from Sweet Apple acres." "How about the library?" ' I'm going to regret this' He thought. "Um, it's right across the street." And to emphasise his point he pointed towards a window. "Well I'll be dammed so it is!" Brice was suspicous of the convenience of this. "Well thanks for everything but I gotta do something." He didn't said anything what offended them, so he made it seem something important was going on. "Dude you can't see out a window without my help, how are you gonna get to wherever you are going?" Blue Breeze asked with a smug look on his face. "Smart ass..." Brice muttered. "What of it?" Brice stared at him for a couple of minutes before saying anything. "Blue me and you are gonna get along just fine." After convincing Brice to have a breakfast and explain how he did the music thing [which involved human magic and telekenesis, to sum it up] he grabbed his bag and left having promised to meet up witth the duo in two days. "Seems nice." said Blue Breeze but Zeph was still sceptical of him. "Yeah, nice..." As he approched the library he began to think of how to aplogize to everpony. He reaced the door and stood there thinking for a couple of minutes before it opended with a scared looking Fluttershy looking up at him. "Eeep!" She dashed back into the library. Twilight signaled to him to come in. Everpony was there staring at him waiting for him to talk. After a moment of silence Brice finally spoke. "Where would you want me to start?" "Explain what you did to Trixie." It was Twilight as he expected to ask him. "Look I know I maybe have gone a bit far but she was attacking everypony and I'm pretty damn sure I saw someone get killed there. But I still don't understand how you find my actions "unjust" (making air quations with his fingers) she attacked innocent people. I don't claim to be a hero or a saint but I can tell when something needs to be done. And then and there she needed to be taken down a notch.... I don't care what you say about me whether it be bad or good cause I've heard all the bullshit people can think of before." Brice's words weren't angry or sad, he said them in a normal voice with a normal look on his face. Everpony looked at him, they weren't sure how to react, they expected him to go into a heart felt apology or turn completly evil but they didn't expect anything between the two. Fluttershy slowly came out under the couch and looked him in the eyes. "If you mean that, you'll apologise to Trixie." Brice took a moment to consider what she had said. "No" "You. Are. Going. To. Apologise. To. Her" Fluttershy intensified her words she was using the STARE. "No." Fluttershy put her full strength into her stare. She found something that she thought might work on him. "What would your father say?" Her voice filled with anger. "I don't know." his answer shocked her but she pushed down. "Do you think he'd be happy?" "I don't know." "Angry? Cause I know I am!" "I don't know!" his voice was slightly straned "Well you oviously don't care then." Her voice was filled with power but she hadn't realised what she had said. "HOW DARE YOU BUCKING SAY THAT!!!" Brice's voice shook the whole room but Fluttershy kept up her side. "THE MAN DIED BEFORE I KNEW HIM AND YOU ACT LIKE YOU KNOW HIM? YOU HAVE NO RIGHT GOING INTO SOMETHING THAT PRIVATE!!!" Fluttershy had't realised what she had said, she instantly backed away from him, bursting into tears. "You should leave." He heard Rarity whisper to him but she wasn't angry or upset she was giving him some advice and he took it. He backed out the library, to see Celestia accompanied by four guards. In place of her calm demenour was a face of a mother ready to strike out anybody hurting her child. "What have you done now?" "Nothing but if you ask them, remember that you should take all sides of what happend." First as he tried to brush past them only for two guards stand up to cut him off. "Trust me you do not want to get in my way right now." His voice was calm but menacing at the same time. The guards looked to Celestisa who shook her head. They side stepped to let him through. "Did it work?" Celestia directed her question to Twilight. "Well we found out about some childhood issues but that's about it." A disturbingly large smile appeard on the ruler's face. "Guards inform my sister I require her assistance in a most important matter!" Not againView OnlineWhy me?Not againBrice walked through the town center, getting glances from ponies. He noticed that the town had been cleaned up since the most recent "Event". He saw several restraunts and houses but he didn't found a shop that sold diffrent items instead of specific wares. He walked into the shop which was surprisingly tall considering the hight of most ponies. "Hey there, can I help you?" The voice was old but kind. Brice turned around to see an older stallion at the till, he looked about in his seventies. "Yeah, I'm looking for some ropes, bottles, food and mountain climbing gear." The stallion left the counter and about five minutes later he came back with the requested items. "Food is in the back, I'll keep your stuff here." A minute or two later Brice came back with two loaves of bread, two bags of wheat and a bag of five apples. The stallion looked over everything. "That'll be eighty bits." Brice looked into his bag and counted out what Applejack had payed him before. "60." He thought. "Um take out the bag, the boots and a bag of wheat." "Okay that'll be...fifty five bits." "Throw in an apple pie then!" "That'll be fifty nine bits." The stallion was getting a bit annoyed with the constant changing of the price but Brice was his first coustomer in a long time. Brice handed over the bits and walked out of the shop, pie in hand. "I'm going to enjoy this." He thought as he was about to take a bite out of it he heard somepony shouting. "PIE!" "Wait..what?" He turned around to see a blue figure grab it out of his hands and fly upwards. "HEY GIVE THAT BACK!" He shouted to the mystery figure. "No way, its the last one in town plus you can't fly, so whatcha gonna do about it?" He said with an evil smile. "I can't fly but I do have opposable thumbs!" with that he grabbed his last bit and threw it at the figure, hitting it in between the eyes. Losing its concentration, it fell to the ground with a *thud*. "You gonna talk or I'm gonna be repating history." It was an empty threat but Brice made his hand in a fist to make it seem real. Then he picked up the theif with his left hand. The tief had recoverd slightly so Brice looked it over. It was a stallion who had a light blue coat. His mane and tail were blue but they verged on purple. "Hold on a second.... You are Soarin' aren't you?" ".....yeahthanksforthepiemanbye!" And with that he dashed of with the spoils of battle. "Is he releated to Pinkie Pie?" After about ten minutes, Brice reached the edge of the Everfree forest. "Ipod Whispers in the Dark, Skillet, 50%." He waited for about a minute but nothing happend. He looked down to see his Ipod had disappeared. "Ugh let's see Soarin?... No... Shop?... No... Library?.... Buck." He turned around and began to head to the library. Meanwhile at the library, Princess Luna had arrived. "Do you understand the plan, sister?" Celestia had summoned her sister and fifteen royal mages to the library along with the six elements. "Yes we do but though does not understand why!" "The less you know the better, dear sister." She turned to the mages. "Cast the tracking spell." *thud thud thud* The sound came from the front door. "Who is it?" Shouted Twilight form her seat. "It's the six foot, omnivore, court god, biped." Everpony in the room was stunned at their good luck. "Prepare to grab him." Celestia whispered to her mages. "Come in!" Twilight said approching the door. "Sup?" Brice could tell he was going to regret coming back. "NOW!" Shouted a regal voice which Brice couldn't place. Suddenly his body was coverd in a white glow preventing him from moving. He felt his body being lifted and soon he was dropped on the couch. "Bucking foresight." He thought. "Okay what do you want from me?" "Nothing, we simply were worried about you and brought reinforcements in case somepony had captured you." Brice looked up. It was the same voice as last time. To his suprise, he noticed the fifteen mages and two alicorns. "Um are you serious or kidding me?" "We are serious but we have also come to inform you that due to your age you must attend the local school. Twilight I trust this shall not happen again?" "Yes princess Celestia." She was suprised that her mentor was speaking like Luna. (Had you there didn't I?) After some private words with the six, the two Alicorns and their entourage left, leaving a confused Brice. "You okay? You seem upset!" Ssked Rainbow Dash "Did she say I have to go back to school?" His voice was serious. "Yeah why, it's just school!" It was Twilights turn to speak. "NNNNNOOOOO!!!!" "Wow calm down it's not all bad I don't know what school is like on earth but it's fun here!" Brice beagan to stare at Twilight. "Ugh fine I'll give a shot,who knows maybe it won't be so bad..." The next day started out pretty much the same, Twilight was suprised that when she came down the stairs Brice was already awake and having breakfast. "Why are you up so early school isn't till nine!" "Meh same as on Earth, except that I got up at five to get the bus at five past eight." 'Heh Applejack would be proud.' She thought. "So you got what you need?" "I went to the school and I asked the teacher, she said that just bring a pencil and notebook, so I put them in my bag." Twilight's eyes light up at the mention of the mystery bag. "You know what? Give it to me I'll show you what's in it!" Using her magic she passed the bag to him. "Okay, this is a DS, you use it you play virtual games. The one I've got with me is Professor Layton, it is problem solving, you'd like it." He switched it on and passed the stylus to her. "That's the stylus you use that to put in your answer here." He demonstrated it for her doing the first puzzle witth the bridge and cogs. "That's amazing what else have you got in there?" Twilight was obviously excited . "I'll show you later but right now I'm going to go for a walk before school, I'll see you at two." And with that he left. "CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS MONSTER SLAYERS,YAY!" came a huge, synchronized shout from down the street. "Oh no not them!" He thought as a dust cloud approched him at an insane speed. "CHARGE!" Brice was quickly knocked to the ground and jumped on by the three fillies. "Yeah get him, Yeah!!" they all shouted for a couple of seconds. "GET OFF OF ME!!!" He shouted, throwing two of them off leaving the third one to get off herself. "Sorry mister, we thought you were a monster!" Said the yellow one with a bow in her mane. "Don't worry about it....until we do dodgeball." He had a slight smile as he spoke. "What do you mean?" Said the orange pegasus. "Well I'm going to your school now." "Wow that's cool" Said the yellow one. "Yeah, well... What's you names?" "Well, I'm Applebloom, this is Scootaloo and this is Sweetie Bell. What's yours?" She said pointing to her two friends and then Brice. "The name's Brice." He said worried what they might pull next. "Is everypony okay?" Brice turned around to see Zephyr approching him. "Yeah they thought I was a monster so they were just doing their business to free the community." "No we weren't, we were trying to get our cutie marks!" "Oh right" Suddenly he had an evil glint in his eyes. "Hey girls come here a second... *whis whis whis whis* "CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS HOME DESGINERS YAY!" They shouted as they ran into Zephyr's house . "I AM GOING TO KILL YOU" The anger was evident in Zephyr's voice as he rushed into his house. Looking forward to it!" Shouted Brice as he looked at the town hall clock, it was now 7:30. "Going for a nap!" As time drove on Brice woke up to the sound of his Ipod's alarm. "Oh shit 8:55!" He thought as he ran towards the school. After four minutes of running, (remeber that) he could see the school. It was about two minutes jog and one minute full speed so he decided to bolt it. 'Not gonna make it!' He thought as he reached the gate, catching his breath. "Why were you running Brice?" He looked down to see Scootaloo looking at him. "Didn't want to be late..." He said after catching his breath. "But school dosen't start for another five minutes!" She said pointing at the town clock. Brice looked at his Ipod then the clock, readjusting the time. 'Blasted thing must've stopped when it ran outta power...' He thought. "Is everypony here?" He heard a voice call out. "Yes Ms.Cheerilee" Shouted everbody except Brice. "Okay let's go in then!" She called out. 'Okay first day of school.' He thought as he walked into the classroom. "Ah, nice to see you again Brice!" He turned to see Cheerilee sitting at a desk. "Yeah, well, first day might as well come in." He joked. "So what are we doing today?" "Well I was wondering if you could give a short presentation about your life on earth then I could assign the class to write an essay from it." "Uhm, sure, why not?" He said. "Okay class, this is Brice, he will be telling us about "Earth" so listen up because there will be an essay on it!" After explaining about how things like pegasus and unicorns don't exsist on Earth, he explained how Earth made daily life easier with technology, eventualy getting to his Ipod. He then went onto biology. "Okay so humans are bipeds, can anypony tell me what that means?" He asked after some waiting he saw a hoof go up. "Yes...." "My name is Diamond Tiara." "Okay I'll just call you Diamond, so, Diamond what is a biped?" "A biped is somepony who has two arms and two legs." "You are right and wrong, a biped has two legs but that dosen't limit it's other limbs." "Wait so there are humans with more than one head?" shouted Applebloom. "Yes but I would really prefer not to go into that." He was worried about talking about to much. Thankfully the bell rang for the end of the day. (It was a really long speech.) As he walked out the schoolyard he was approched by two fillies one he recognised as Diamond but he didn't know who the other one was. "Hey dweeb." Said the one he didn't reconise but he would remember her after this for sure. "Cause of you we have to write an essay so you can ours for this!" She said. 'Ugh what a brat.' He thought. "No chance." "Excuse me, I don't think you know who I am." She was getting angry. "No but I can tell: you are a rich snob who dosen't care about others, as long as you get your own way." "DADDY!" 'This gotta be fun!' He thought. "What's the problem honey?" A white stallion approched them. "This weirdo won't do my homework for me and it's his fault we got it!" "My good sir, I do beleive you should be doing it for her if what my daughter days is true." "Why should I do anything for a little spoilt brat?" "I beg your pardon sir what did you say?" "Ugh do I need to spell it out for you?" "How about a bet then?" "Go on." "I just know this is going to be unfair." Brice thought "Soarin' my boy come here!" "Yeah da.....goddess no!" "OPEN FIRE" he looked down to see what looked like the entire down holding what seemed like.....PIES.After two minutes of getting pelted with assorted flavours Zephyr and Blue finally let him down "We even?" asked Brice hopefully The duo shruged and nodded at each other "Sure" "Hey quick question anypony seen Soarin?" he wanted to see what the CMC had done to him "Over here" it was Soarin himself who called him over "Nice butterfly" said brice supprsing the huge laugh which was coming up "WHAT, they told me it was a lighting blot" turning around in circles like a dog going after its tail.Later that day Pinkie Pie held a late welcome to Ponyville and Best Prank ever party at the same time. "Hey everypony Brice want's to say something" said Pinkie pie hyper as ever "Thank you all for coming and I have on very very important thing that you should all know" he got a couple of nervous glances from ponies that knew he was going to do something but they didn't know what.Suddenly a popping sound could be heard and everypony except Brice,Twilight and her friends were drenched in water "It is on" he said gutting himself at the sight "HEY THAT WAS UNCALLED FOR" shouted somepony "YHEAH WHAT WERE YOU THINKING" "WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM" "SHUT UP" roared Brice "IF YOU THINK WHAT I DID WAS UNFAIR THEN REMEMBER WHAT YOU DID EARLIER TODAY" the room was in a stunned silince they had seen what he could do when he was angry but his wounds were still healing so they weren't sure what to do next "But hey why let this stop a good party....hit it Vinyl" with some releuctence the party continued without a hitch.He walked to Twilight and her friends "How's it going?" "Good,you?" "Good so I never got the chance to talk to most of you guys so let's talk" the group sat and talked for the rest of the party Brice learned some intresting stuff like how they got their cutie marks and how Rainbow Dash wants to join there wonderbolts,Twilight wants to own canterlot library,Pinkie.....[for saftey reasons I'm not gonna metion that] Applejack wants to work the farm,Rarity wants to design dresses for Celestia and Fluttershy wants to keep helping animals. "So Brice what you gonna do?" asked Applejack "Depends" "On what?" "If I get sent back to earth or not" "Why would you want to go back?" asked Twilight "Well despite some things that have gone wrong in my life I still have my family and friends" suddenly it dawned on him that he had only been gone for three days here and it could be any amount of time on earth "I need to speak to Celestia" he said worry thick in his voice "What's wrong?" asked Twilight "It's personal and I'd like to ask her something" "Well I can send her a letter if you write it" "Okay,thanks" after quickly writing out his letter he looked it over Dear Princess Celestia, It has come to my attention that I have been here for three days and that it could be any amount of time on earth.So I am asking you if you have any knowledge on long I have been gone on earth. "Augh at least I wasn't sick this time" he thought "Yes it would be best to avoid that" came a regal voice "Okay so you can read my mind what's new?" he said "Well aren't we in a grump" "Look Celestia I asked you a question and I want answers" "Four hundred and fifty years" "WHAT,HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE?" "Well you see your universe is a central time keeper for every reality and every reality is slightly behind the one before it making a day match a longer extent of time" "My friends....my family their all....dead?" he didn't want to beleive what he had just heard but deep inside he could feel that it was true "Yes I'm sorry for your loss" "Could you put me back?" "I'm sorry but after twenty four hours it is impossible to send the person back" "For which universe?" "Your one" "Ah well looks like I stuck here.....might as well make the best of it." "Yheah there is one thing" It was midnight in ponyville and Brice had snuck out of the house,he approched a hill which had a plaque which obviously had just been added,it read. Slowly, as he began to fall unconscious he heard feet scuttling past him, and with the last bit of energy he looked up to see Spike running out the door. "Will he be okay?" a voice said, seeming distant. "We don't know we don't have anything information regarding humans. For all we know he could be dead, or just sleeping." "Isn't there any way to check. Like magic?" "We don't know if this is magic induced or not, so we'd prefer to not take the risk." "If he is alive how, long will he be out" "We've predicted around anytime now after that it's up to fate." Surrounding a bed in the Ponyville hospital were six ponies and a nurse.In the bed was Brice. Nopony knew what had happened but what they did know was that he could be dead or dying and they couldn't do anything except watch. After a couple of minutes the tension grew until suddenly his arm twitched. "He's waking up." Nurse Redheart had a smile on her face. She rarely had patients, and the ones she did were cut at the worst. It was a relief to see somepony in such a bad condition pull through. "Ugh my head what the hay happened?" he felt a sharp pain around his ribs he looked down to see everypony giving him a group hug."Heh.Can't leave you guys for five minutes, can I?" he said with a pained chuckle. "Um, Brice, you've been out for three days." said Rainbow Dash "Oh......wait, so I missed the running of the leaves?"
