Chapter One
"Are you coming?!" Luna dashed out in front of me with a huge smile.
"Pfft! Duh!" I chased after her, coming up around to her right side as to avoid the dust cloud she had formed. Her hoofs pounded against the dirt path and she gained some speed. I smirked as I dashed in front of her.
"Eat my dust, Princess!" I yelled to her. I heard her scoff and then watched as she inched past me. I can't believe the nerve of her, thinking she was going to beat me to the castle. I pushed myself, forcing my back legs to slam against the ground faster than I possibly could.
"I'm gonna beat you there! Last one to is a rotten apple!" I called out as the castle doors started to come in view. Luna inched even further up and I heard her hoofs hit the stone path to the doors.
"I win!" She boasted slowing her pace to a stop. I slowed too, then rolled my eyes at her.
"Only by a nose!" I teased, pushing her shoulder softly.
"Oh in your wildest dreams, Angel! I won that by a good length!" She brushed her hair back into place with a hoof and we walked inside. I looked around. This place was like home to me, I basically lived here. Ever since Lunie (my nickname for her) came back from being Nightmare Moon, we've been best ponies. It's been 5 years now, and I can't even imagine what my life would be like without her.
"Lets go upstairs, Celestia will want to know you're here." I nodded at her comment and headed up the spiral staircase. Oh Celest. (Yet another one of my clever nicknames) I shook my head to put my green and blue mane back into place. I did have a horrible case of the sex hair after that run.
"Hey sis, I'm home!" Lunie called up the stairs.
"Welcome home! How was your run?" Celest greeted back, walking to the top of the stairs.
"It was fun, turns out angel is a rotten apple!" Celest laughed and I stuck my tounge out at Luna.
"Shad up!! I won you!"
