Needless to say, the Estrus Alleviation Initiative was a complete success in Equestria, so successful in fact that countries across the globe began to implement it to deal with their own citizens, after all they couldn't have the entire female half of the population accosting every stallion in sight just to make their heat go away for a while, it needed to be organized!

The initiative was a controversial idea when first proposed by world leaders but with no alternatives, it was adopted into many a society and once it was streamlined to ensure that every creature was responsible and wasn't paired up someone who was incompatible, everything was fine! Their was an outcry from the gay community who were displeased that, just for the sake of the estrus season, they had to endure a heterosexual relationship for an entire month... though they didn't kick up too much of a fuss because, unfortunately, even gay mares suffered the effects of the heat and the only thing they could do was suffer through for a whole month or just bite the bullet and let a stallion have their way with them. Not only that but, for the most part, it was somewhat optional for stallions whether they participated at all and since there wasn't a large gay community, their decision to opt out of the Estrus Alleviation Initiative didn't have too negative an impact.

In any case, the truth of the matter was clear, the Estrus Alleviation Initiative was successful and often lead to good things! Stallions could brag if they happened to be allocated to a princess, a stallion and mare might find love, maybe a dragon and a zebra would find... well, maybe not love but certainly a long-lasting lust at the very least! More foals, more marriage, there didn't seem to be too many negative things to come out of the initiative unless ponies were accidentally really stupid.

Zephyr and Pinkie continued their relationship and, despite a few ups and downs, especially when the two families met each other, they eventually did get married and had some foals, two daughters named Flutterpie and Pinkieshy... which they realized later on sounded like they were named after a relationship between Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie that never existed... but they liked the names to much to change them, they'd just have to deal with that problem later on in life.

Spike and Zecora also continued to meet up so that Spike could sexually dominate her and she got all the sex she never got from other stallions, she even stopped seeking sexual comfort from wild animals! Which was lucky really because bestiality was against the law in Equestria, not even Fluttershy could cross that line even if she wanted to despite being able to talk to all of her feathery and furry friends. To cut a long story short, the Estrus Alleviation Initiative... was great!
