MLE: The Lullaby of Hope.

That beautiful song echoed throughout the halls of the gigantic castle. Queen Celestia is gifted with a heavenly, beautiful, angelic voice. The song actually being a lullaby is for her little sister, Princess Luna. That lullaby was just as old as she was. But at first she allowed the stars to sing it for she could. But then the words of that song came to life, when she crashed.
Everytime she sung it, it brought her hope she would reunite with Luna. Though when they crashed on Equss, they only had seen each other for a week, until the accident. But they stayed up there with each other, and that's how their bond formed. They instantly clicked when The Moon formed 4.5 billion years ago. The Sun being the oldest celestial body, was alone in gases, matter, and formation of the galaxy. Untill The Moon was born after the collision of Planet Eqea and Planet Theios. The collision that gave birth to both Equss and The Moon.
That lullaby for Luna, she always sung it at night to The Moon. Though Luna was no longer in the Celestial Body of Night.. Celestia sung it to The Moon as if she was singing it to her sister. Even though the older sister was going through so much pain, betrayal, abuse, she always sung that lullaby.
No one knows the darkness behind that lullaby and why the Queen always sung it at night to The Moon. Except her twin sister alter-ego.
•Lullaby For The Moon•
SolarFlare were a very rouge spirit and enjoyed to do or go as she pleased. Though she felt safer in the mind of her twin sister who is also her original self. Celestia's mind is always so quite, peaceful, and calming. Though it can be all over the place at times, SolarFlare enjoyed the thrill and calmness of it all. Besides that's were SolarFlare's realm was, in the safety of Celestia's mind. No one in that mind, just her and two other fireballs that she doesn't get along with,
But right now she needed to find her twin sister and save her from herself. Yes, SolarFlare heard that lullaby that Celestia sung from her room. SolarFlare always found that lullaby soothing, but she knew that it was not healthy for her twin to kept singing it. SolarFlare was fully aware of what that lullaby meant to Celestia, but she was also aware of what that lullaby was doing to her.
Back then it would drive SolarFlare crazy whenever Celestia sung that lullaby, but it would bring her some form of calmness. SolarFlare may be Celestia, but will always be the only one who understood her and that pro and cons of that lullaby.
And SolarFlare would not stand to see Celestia's mental health continue go off the rails again. So it's time for the two to finally talk about this, even if she needs to drag Celestia or force her. She would not fail her twin sister again..
"SolarFlare...."
"Do not 'Solarflare' me Celestia. We must discuss your unhealthy toxic habits." She said she and Celestia say on a large dark blue cloud that was glowing from the glow of the Blue Moon. Both of them were capable of switching from an ancient speech to a more modern speech. They only used modern speaking when talking to each other, Luna, or NightmareMoon. The Moon twins have been teaching The Sun twins on how to use modern speech. Thought it did mix good with their heavy accents.
They both wore black hoodies with a Sun symbol in the middle of the hoodie, black shorts that showed the many faded scars that remained on their legs. On their hands you could see a slight scar that was hidden by the long sleeves of the hoodie. While SolarFlare's hair was short only reaching to past her shoulders. Celestia's hair is very long, so she used magic to make her hair shoulder length. They both preferred to always hide their wings at night.
SolarFlare long-wide very-pale horns that came out of her forehead had a dark blue ribbon tied around the right horn, her long black tail with a faint blue flame that started at the middle pointing at the end, rested off the cloud as they looked up at the stars in silence for a moment, until SolarFlare spoke now turning her head to face Celestia.
"What did we discuss about that lullaby sister?" SolarFlare asked with her very light orange eyebrows narrowed. Celestia turned her head to look at SolarFlare. Her very golden right eye with a very thin flame shaped pupil, pop in the dark lightning of the night, as if it were glowing. Her right eye went very well with her dark red sclera and her very light orange eyelashes. The her left side of her face was covered at the moment, as her hair was not in its firey-flowing motion. Right now it was just a solid orange, and is straight. It were only like this at night though. Celestia's were just like this, at night it always went flat and out of motion, but her hair colors remained the same but the yellow and orange faded away at night.
"Me aware SolarFlare, me no stop sing it. It feel... wrong to no sing it." Celestia responded, then sighed.
SolarFlare sighs, as she blinked her eye. When she opened it her eye pupils was now a regular white circler pupil, her yellow eyes now really faded, and a white sclera. Indicating that her eyes were now adjusted to the night environment. She made a way for her whole body to adjust to the night, as she and Celestia may have a very high body temperature, they do terrible at night, where it is mostly cold.
"I know, but I also know that you know why its not healthy for you."
"Me know.."
Celestia looked back up at the glowing white Moon. Yes she was aware of what that lullaby was capable of. To others it was a beautiful thing to hear and fall asleep to. But to her, it's a much deeper-twisted meaning.
To Celestia, that lullaby brought back the memories of being stored away and going through the hell she wouldn't wish on anyone. Whenever she sung it, it brought back all of those memories. But to her it also felt like she was leaving her sister.
SolarFlare wrapped some of her tail around her twin sisters waist and gently pushed Celestia to her side were her tail rested on the side of her. SolarFlare then rested her head on top of Celestia's head, they may be the same person but SolarFlare would always beat Celestia in height.
"You will try and stop singing that less Sister. I know it will be hard but, eventually we will think of a new lullaby to sing. Though it will take time, just tell me when your ready to let that lullaby go. It will help you let go of some of your past. As much as that lullaby brought us both but most you hope, it's not healthy for you sister."
"Me try sister." Celestia responded, she admired the Moon and the stars then closed her eyes while her head just fell into SolarFlare's lap, she opened her eyes once more to look at her little Moon.
"Me wonder.... if Luna and Nightmare.. heard sing."
"Lullaby sister, and I know they did Celly." SolarFlare said while her mouth formed a smile.
"You want go in me mind?"
"Nah, my place is right here with you."

So school started so.. going to be posting less 😅 anyways how you guys like Celestia's modern speech? I imagine she isn't that good at it in this universe. But also I like how I did SolarFlare and Celestia's dynamic. Celestia is technically the older sister but with SolarFlare she's more of the younger sister while SolarFlare is more "Overprotective Mean Big Sister" lol. I hope to draw MLE one day, I just started practicing how to draw so I have faith!
