Safe

First off, if you are curious about what got me writing this story, I've put up a blog entry explaining my temporary insanity here.

I wrote this story, but a raft of people helped me finish it.

Whiteout not only gave me some great feedback on Lotus and Aloe's relationship and the fic's ending -- he also gave me an idea to continue writing the story when I'd gotten squicked out at the whole thing. Without his input, Safe wouldn't be here today.

Tchernobog, TAW, NinesTempest, Alexstrazsa, Seattle_Lite, Drakmire, and Aquaman52 all read beta versions of Safe for me as well, and their encouragement and commentary was also a tremendous help. I'm lucky to have so many folks willing and able to help me out.

kits and Cloudy Skies also contributed a boatload of emotional support whenever I needed a wall to yell at. Honestly, I feel crappy that I can't say more about what their ears have done for me. Really, everyone I've mentioned in this note deserves more thanks than I can give them, and I hope that if you're reading this right now, you'll check some of them out and perhaps leave comments on their work.  To this day, I'm still amazed at the level of support and encouragement I've received from these fine folks.
