We open in Equestria, Twilight and Spike are in they're castle and Twilight is reading a new book.
"Wow, who knew teleportation spells could go so far!" Twilight said amazed as the book showed many different spells to help one teleported something miles from where they are.

"How far do you think they could go?" Spike asks coming into the room with some food as not much was happening for them today.

"Apparently focusing enough magic can send the person or an object almost anywhere!" Twilight said as she flipped to the next page.

"Wonder where they could go or what they could do when they arrive at those kinds of places" Spike said as he sat down next to her looking at it with interest.

"We should get the others and show them how far teleportation could take them!" Twilight suggested excitedly

"What if they get sent somewhere that's to far away to the point they can't get back?" Spike asks worried

"Don't worry, we'll just be using small objects while they watch" Twilight told him and he sighed in relief.

"Alright, I'll go get the others while you set things up" Spike told her and she nodded agreeing, Spike then went out to the village to gather everyone.

Rainbow dash was helping clearing some clouds when she had seen spike down calling for him, she then came down to see what's up
"Everything alright Spike?" Rainbow dash asked

"Twilight's got a new teleportation spell she's wanting to show everyone she was hoping you'd all come to see it" Spike explained and rainbow dash looked like she was ready to see it

"Of course! Beats doing weather clearing all day, I'll head there right now" She said with a smile and went to the castle.

Applejack had just gotten done with bucking more apples for the day and she was glad it was finally over, Spike then came up to her and she greeted her with a smile while she just noticed him too.
"Howdy Spike! How's everything going?" Applejack asked with a smile seeing him come up with info to share.

"Twilight's got a new teleportation spell she was wondering if you all could go see it" Spike explained while smiling back which really interested her just from hearing it.

"Sounds interesting i'll head over there right now! "She said as she ran to the village to check it out while Spike went to get the other's informed on what's happening today.

Spike then proceeded to do the same with Rarity and Fluttershy and they all agreed and headed over there excitedly, he then went to Pinkie pies place but he found a note on the door.
"Twilight's birthday is today, working on a special surprise for her so i'm busy for today." Spike read as he remembered it is her birthday which made Spike realize he nearly forgot about it completely.

"That's right it is! I should get her a little treat before i head back!" Spike told himself with worry before he headed over to the bakery and payed for a special cupcake and headed back to the castle. It didn't take too long for him to find what he needed, and he new just what Twilight loves most thanks to Pinkie, and once he got what he needed, he quickly headed back to the castle to see what's happening.

He entered the lobby and found them all talking with each other and they all saw Spike. But as Spike moved through them, he approached Twilight with a smile knowing what day it is for her.
"Happy birthday Twilight!" Spike said as he came over as he gave her the cupcake which made her gasp with surprise as she realized that was today.

"Right! I almost completely forgot today was it! Thank you so much spike!" She said happy as she gave him a tight hug which Spike chuckled at

"Pinkie said that she was making preparations for a surprise later, so i guess its just us for now" Spike told her as she let go and smiled at her knowing what's gonna be happening later.

"Pinkie is always big with parties, so i can understand that, come on lets get this teleportation spell started" Twilight said as they all followed her to the lobby.

In the lobby there were multiple objects, a small chair, then a table, and a desk with a mirror on it, all with tags with her Cutie Mark on it.
"Alright, if i can focus enough magic, i can send these almost anywhere" Twilight explained

"How will we be able to find them" Rarity asked confused

"I will have these special magic tags that will tell me where they go!" She explained with an eager look on where they'll end up.

"That sounds simple enough" Applejack said while understanding what she's trying to say.

"Are you sure this will be safe Twilight?" Fluttershy asked with a nervous look

"Yeah how do we know nothing will go wrong?" Rainbow dash asked with a raised eyebrow feeling a bit uneasy about this.

"Don't worry girls, as long as i keep my focus nothing bad will happen" Twilight assured them,

"Alright then, just be careful" Fluttershy warned still feeling a bit worried on what's about to happen..

Twilight then focused her magic into her horn, she had aimed for the small chair first, after a few seconds of charging she shot it and it teleported away, surprising everyone on seeing it vanish like that.
"Where'd it go?" Rarity asked while looking around for it, and Twilight pulled out the tag from earlier to see where it ended up.

"According to the tag, it teleported to the Dragon Lands... only for it to fall into a river of lava, and burning it to a crisp instantly.." Twilight said a little embarrassed as that was a poor move on her part.

"Well it was a really far one that's for sure" Spike said comforting her which she really appreciated, she soon regained her focus and tried to try get a better hang of it.

"Alright, let's try to not get it teleported into a river of something this time" Twilight said focusing her magic on the table this time, she charged for almost 30 seconds until she fired and the thing teleported away too.

"Alright, this time it landed in the Griffon kingdom" Twilight said as she looked at a special scroll she made to list them out

"That's almost just as far Twilight, you should try charging for a little longer" Applejack suggested which could work.

"Your right, this time i need to really focus" twilight said as she charged once again, unknown to them a certain pink pony was sneaking up for a little surprise...

Twilight charged for about 5 minutes before her magic aura was bigger then a ball

"Alright, now to try it one more.." She said before she was interrupted by a loud horn coming from her.

"SURPRISE!!!" Pinkie shouted joyfully which made her scream and lost focus, and she suddenly shot the blast around the entire room which everyone screamed at from trying to avoid, the blast bounced around the entire room until it hit the mirror of the object aiming at Spike which freaked him out as he barely had any time to escape it.

"Oh..!!! he is then cut off as the blast hits him teleporting him away leaving a bright blast which blinded .

Soon the light died down and Twilight looks at Pinkie extremely upset as that stunt she pulled could've hurt someone
" What the heck Pinkie?! I was in the middle of something both important and potentially dangerous if went wrong!" She asked extremely mad of what she's done while Pinkie had realized what happened, and looked very ashamed of herself knowing it.

"I just wanted to make a surprise since its your birthday... a little bit of a bad timing i see now" She said with guilt while Twilight sighed since she was just trying to help with her birthday.

"It's alright, it was only to make me happy, is everypony okay?" Twilight asked as she calmed down and looked at everyone to see if they're okay.

"We're all accounted for Twilight." Applejack said as all the main 6 were there still, not looking like anything was wrong at first.

"Alright that's good, what about you Spike?" She looked where Spike was, but he was gone... and her eyes widened with fear as she saw he wasn't here at all.

"Oh no...." She realized with a look of fear and soon the others realized it too.

"Spike?!" Twilight called out but got no response worrying the other's seeing he may not be here.

"Spike come on this isn't funny! "Rainbow dash shouted looking around for any signs of him, but they didn't get any response yet again, which made this even worse as he may have been hit

"Spike?!" She teleported across the castle, she even checked the scroll just incase it might show where he went but nothing was there. And Twilight was breathing heavily as she realized something horrible might've happened to him.

No... NO!" Twilight shouted with horror and teleported back to the rest of them who were getting really scared for what happened to him.

"Where is he?!" Fluttershy asked extremely worried as she was starting to break down upon not finding him here.

"I can't find him anywhere! I can't find him anywhere on the map! He's.. he's gone!!" She said while she was starting to cry knowing he's not anywhere here, likely not even in Equestria anymore at all.

"No, it can't be..." Rainbow dash said with fear before she thought over something that can help, and quickly got an idea on what they can do.

"Hold on a minute! Maybe Celestia can help find him!" Rainbow dash suggested which everyone quickly agreed with seeing

"Your right, send her a letter right now!" Twilight told them with a serious look, and they all went to tell her what happened to Spike, and hoped she knew on what to do to find him, all the while Twilight was breaking down, and couldn't handle the fact the one she saw as her brother, may be gone..

"SPIKE! WHERE ARE YOU?!?!?" Twilight shouted through the whole castle while praying that wherever he was, he'd find his way back to them, today, was undoubtedly the worst birthday of her life..

Meanwhile on planet Veldin in the Solana Galaxy...

A young creature was fixing some machines in his workshop, he had just finished with the blueprints to make a ship to get off this planet, he'd been on this planet for most of his life, and just wanted to find something exciting in his life as nothing ever happens on this planet.
"Now all i need are the parts to make it and i'm out of here, finally. " The creature said as he was making his way outside, he then noticed a bright flash in the distance and it caught his attention.

"What was that?" he asks shocked and proceeds to run over to to where the light came from.

When he arrived he found a creature he had never seen before on the ground unconscious and he went to check on it, it didn't look like anything he'd seen before, and looked very fascinated as he tried inspecting it.
"What are you?" he asked about to check the creature, but before he could, the creature suddenly groaned and he backed up with surprise seeing him already get up like that, but still had concerns seeing

Spike then proceeded to open his eyes and groaned as he tried waking up, he still felt off after being hit with that blast thanks to Pinkie, and he tried getting up to figure out where in Equestria he was.

"Where am I?" Spike asked as he tried to focus, and he could only see a blurry figure coming up to him which did confuse him a bit.

"Hey are you okay?" A voice asked and Spike looked up at a blurry figure, he soon finally focused and his eyes widened in horror as he never saw anything like this creature before. he then screamed and backed away terrified.

"Who... What are you?!" Spike asked looking really scared on what's going on.

"Woah calm down! I'm not gonna hurt you! " he said raising his arms showing he means no harm, and after taking a few moments to think, he could see he didn't mean any harm, and calmed down just a bit, but still looked scared and stressed on what's happening.

"Who are you?" Spike asked still looking very scared, and he tried to calm him down seeing he's just a small child.

"It's okay.. I'm not gonna hurt you.. My name's Ratchet, what's yours?" Ratchet asked offering a hand up to help him some more, and while Spike was still scared about this, he saw he won't hurt him, and hesitantly reached for it to get up again.

"Spike..." Spike said nervously while he took it and got back up which

"Alright, just to let you know, my name's Ratchet, and this is the planet Veldin" Ratchet explained and his eyes widened as he heard that name.

"Veldin... that's never been heard off in Equestria.." Spike said with shock as Ratchet tried thinking this over too.

"Equestria? is that the planet your from?" He asked making Spike's eyes widen more hearing that word, meaning he's likely even farther then he thought..

"Planet? I believe some call it Equis. but i don't understand still what is this place?" Spike said as he was still shocked knowing he's not even on his own planet anymore.

"Okay this is the planet Veldin in the Solana Galaxy, I'm ratchet" Ratchet introduced while Spike was trying to process on what's happened to him.

Spike then looked around and his eyes widened as he realized he wasn't home at all, he was far away from it, lightyears in fact. He didn't know a teleportation spell like that could go this far, but to an entire different planet? This only makes his situation, even worse..
"This... this isn't my home... "Spike said as he was starting to cry thinking he may never find his way back.

"What am i gonna do? How can i get home? I don't have anyone with me..." Spike said as he broke down

"Whoa calm down kid, i can help you get home, I've been trying to get off this planet myself to see what more's out there, maybe we could help eachother out to get out of here?" Ratchet said trying to comfort him and Spike looks up at him surprised

"Really?" Spike asked shocked that he was willing to help even if they've just met moments ago.

"Yeah, helping others is what i want to do one day, so helping you would be a great step" Ratchet said with a smile, Spike jumped at him and hugged him surprising Ratchet seeing how sudden it was.

"Thank you, this means so much!" Spike said with tears and Ratchet hugged him back and chuckled seeing how innocent he acts.

"Don't worry little guy, I'll help you, i just need to finish making a ship to get off this planet" Ratchet said with a smile and Spike looked confused as he doesn't fully understand what that means.

"Ship like a boat kind of ship? For sailing?" Spike asked wanting a bit more detail, and Ratchet merely chuckled and already saw wherever he was, clearly wasn't as advanced as where he lives.

"I got a lot to tell you about buddy, come on I'll explain after we get to my home, there's a lot we need to catch you up on." Ratchet said picking him up and helped him over his shoulder, and he carried Spike off to his workshop so they can discuss what to do. Spike was thankful someone was willing to help, Spike just hopes Twilight is okay and can handle herself as he tries to make his way back home, but even if he's here now, he has a feeling he's in for a huge adventure unlike any other...
