Spike, Smolder, Po and Li had made they're way up the Jade Palace steps again after a long time of climbing, Spike already could tell Smolder hasn't got as much stamina as he does, but then again.. he's been training here for years at this point, and he's built up enough to go up and down this no problem, it only makes him want to help them both even more knowing this.

He still had a ton of questions for them both, like how Smolder, a dragon, is the adopted daughter of a panda, he's got a lot going through his mind right now that he would like answered, they both seem like really good people from the looks of it, and he only hopes to get to know them some more as time goes by.

Everyone soon finished climbing the stairs once again and everyone but Spike was exhausted, Po, Li and Smolder were all breathing heavily while Spike stretched his wings.
"That was a good exercise, haven't done one like that in a bit." Spike said proudly while Smolder was still recovering.
"You go up all those stairs as an exercise? Man, what do you do here to handle going up all that?" Smolder asked while she was getting back up.
"It's a long story, and believe me, it's a lot." Spike replied while he helped her up.
"Do you two get panda asthma too? Does that run in the family?" Po asked tiredly while they all were catching they're breaths.
"Even if I'm not a panda.. I'm not the best runner right now.." Smolder admitted which made Spike chuckle a little.
"Alright you two, your gonna love this! It's like the coolest thing ever!" Po said while he was bringing Li into the halls ahead of them.
"It really is a sight to behold, just be careful not to break anything alright? A lot of this stuff is extremely fragile." Spike advised which Smolder understood.
"I'll try not to brother." Smolder said with a smile while they all entered the halls.

Po opened up the doors and Smolder and Li gasped in amazement at the amazing hall in front of the both of them.
"This is the Hall of Heroes, home of the most priceless artifacts in all of China!" Po introduced while they looked around in complete awe.
"Whoa.. how have you not taken all of this stuff in a horde of your own?!" Smolder asked amazed with all of this.
"I've learned to control that urge, but I won't lie when I say I haven't had the urge to do it a few times." Spike said laughing a bit while they saw the golden sunrays illuminate the place.
"This.. place is.." Li said right before Po finished for him.
"Awesome?! You were gonna say awesome right? Because it totally is!" Po finished which they both agreed to.
"Totally!" Li said completely amazed by all of this.
"I've never seen a place so beautiful before other then back at home." Smolder said looking at all the artifacts there are here.

"Alright be super careful here you two everything here's very fragile like Spike said. Like this!" Po said dramatically while he turned to a familiar Urn.
"The Urn of Whispering Warriors, someone broke that.. once." Po said nervously recalling how he broke it.
"Who?" Li and Smolder asked at once.
"Some idiot.." Po said not wanting to tell them the full thing.
"One little tap over and that's what it'll take." Spike said while shrugging his shoulders.
"Wow!" Li said amazed as he turned to a familiar armor for a Rhino.
"Would you look at the detail in this thing?!" Smolder asked looking all over it.

"This is Master flying Rhino's battle armor!" Po introduced while they looked at it.
"One of my personal favorites of these relics!" Spike said proudly while he looked at it too.
"I wonder if I could fit in there..." Li theorized which amazed them.
"Get out of my head dad! I was thinking the same thing!" Po said eagerly.
"That I could fit in it?" Li asked hoping that's what he meant.
"No, that Spike or I could fit in it." Po answered which made him nod in understanding.
"You'd look super cool in it just from imagining it though Li." Spike said while patting his back.
"I know! He'd look so amazing in it!" Smolder said while she flew over the place to see all of it.
"Dad, Smolder check this out!" Po said while he went to show them more stuff while Li kept looking at the armor.

Spike and Smolder just watched Po explain all the artifacts they have here at the palace, Smolder was really amazed with where her brother lives, and wondered some more stuff about him.
"So how long have you been living here to be exact?" Smolder asked turning to him who took a moment to recall.
"I've been here about.. a few years at this point, and I've been training here since I ended up by the Peach Tree, where I was found by Oogway." Spike answered while he looked out the window and saw the view of the Peach Tree in the distance.
"How did you end up there exactly?" Smolder asked interested to hear that.
"Oogway said it was the universe that brought me here, while that may not make much sense at first, once you understand the context of things some more, it's a lot easier to understand. And I've had a fantastic life here since, while I do miss Twilight and everyone else, I know they're carrying on fine without me." Spike said with a smile which she was glad to hear.

"I take it they were another family to you? And if that's true, you may not know about our parents either huh?" Smolder asked getting a bit sad at the thought which surprised Spike a bit.
"You mean you don't know about our family? I know you were raised by Li and all, but I was hoping you'd have something on our parents? So you don't know either?" Spike asked while they looked out the window together.
"I don't really know much of anything, I think I've had a few visions of them at some point during my time at the panda village, I'm still a teenager at this point, and yet I've always wondered, why I ended up there, and not with you?" Smolder said while she put her arm over his metal one.
"Yeah, I've always wondered if there was any family I had left out there, but hopefully with you here, this may mean we could get closer to finding answers soon right?" Spike asked hoping there was something to find.
"I hope so too Spike, I know there's a lot we have to talk about, but let's take in some time and have fun okay?" Smolder asked while she patted his back.
"Sure thing! It's exactly what I need by this point." Spike replied happy to hear that until they heard Po call to them.
"Hey, Spike! Smolder! Check this out!" Po shouted from the distance which made them shake their heads before going back to see him.

Spike and Smolder went up to Po who was eager to show them one more artifact of the palace.
"What's up Po?" Spike asked while they came up to him.
"Alright, this is the last one I wanna show you! This is the legendary battle rickshaw of Emperor Hawk!" Po said eagerly showing them a really cool vehicle.
"Now I've seen everything in this place!" Smolder said completely amazed by all of this.
"Tell me about it." Spike replied nodding at the thought too while Li came up to them.. while wearing a certain armor.
"Sweet ride." Li replied which made them finally see him and they gasped in shock.
"Dad what are you doing? We're not suppose to touch anything!" Po warned which surprised him hearing this.
"Oh sorry, sorry! Should I put it back?" Li asked nervously while taking off the helmet.

"It's extremely delicate Li, it's best you do." Spike advised while trying to find how how put it on.
"Spike's right, you probably should.. but you look so cool though!" Po said amazed with how awesome he looks in it.
"What does it feel like dad? Does it feel like you can kick anyone's butt in it?!" Smolder asked while striking a few fun poses of her own.
"I can, it's really cool!( he then notices a switch of sorts which looks important.) Ooh, I wonder what this is, I should pull it." Li suggested before he literally pulled it. This made something in the armor activate and they watched with shock as the armor placed a spiked color around Li's neck while spreading out metal wings so they can see the suit in all it's glory.
"Holy... @#$%" Spike swore completely in shock of it.
"Language Spike." Smolder said while slapping his face a bit which snapped him out of it.
"Sorry!" Spike apologized a bit ashamed at that while Po couldn't say anything, Li took off the helmet for a moment and had a little smirk.
"Anything else we should try in here?" Li asked raising his eyebrows while they all looked at the hall and all it's artifacts.

Spike and Smolder merely stood aside and let Po and Li play with all the artifacts here, while Spike was worried about them breaking something, he hoped nothing bad would happen from all of this.
"So is Po always playful like this?" Smolder asked turning to him again and Spike only shrugged.
"He knows when to get serious when it's right, but most of the time, he's a really fun person to hang out with, there's a lot more to him then meets the eye." Spike answered which interested her.
"I still can't believe this technically makes us all family with eachother, meaning our Po is a step brother to us." Smolder said still amazed at that.
"Tell me about it, Po and I were already really great friends, but me and him being brothers, I honestly think that makes things cooler." Spike said still shocked with all that's happened while they heard Po throw up in the background while Li comforted him.

"I only wish we got to get here sooner, it took us a while before we left our village to get here, even then we searched all over China to find you." Smolder explained which Spike was interested to hear again.
"Hey, what matters is your here now right? Just wait until you meet Shifu and the others, there's a lot we're gonna need to show you then." Spike replied wondering how to do that.
"Yeah, your girlfriend is that snake from earlier right? Viper was it? How'd that happen?" Smolder asked wondering that.
"It's all long story's to tell, it also will explain how I lost one of my arms, and the other, that's for a later one." Spike explained showing them both which made her concerned seeing this.
"You don't have the best luck with them huh? How painful was it when you lost them?" Smolder asked really worried seeing this.
"Believe me, you don't wanna know yet, it's.. a lot." Spike admitted while shaking his head at the thoughts of it.

Po kept playing around with his dad while Spike and Smolder kept on talking.
"Bring it on Master Rhino!" Po said playfully while he held out a expensive looking artifact, Li charged at him like a rhino and he quickly pulled away from him like they were in a match, but he instantly stopped when he saw Shifu and the other 5 appeared out of nowhere and saw him watching the whole thing.
"Oh uh.. hey guys!" Po said nervously while he quickly took off any artifact he had on him to make it not look bad, Spike saw they were here too and went up to them too.
"Hey guys." Spike greeted nervously right as Li kept playfully hitting Po which they noticed.
"Psst, Master Rhino." Po whispered which got his attention.
"What's that? ( He soon noticed Shifu and the others and dropped the act), Oh!" Li said as he quickly threw away a metal ball which broke the Urn once again in the background.
"You gotta be kidding me!" Spike said annoyed that it was broken a SECOND time now.
"Hello." Li greeted politely while everyone looked at Po wanting an explanation.

"Guys guys! Your never gonna guess who showed up for me and Spike today, not in a million years! You just try!" Po encouraged while Li took off the helmet for them to see who he is.
"Your father!" They all said at once quickly forgiving him.
"Whoa how did you just guess that?" Po asked surprised until he saw Li took off the helmet, Spike chuckled at that and motioned Smolder to come up to meet them.
"And guys, this is my younger sister, Smolder! You've already met Viper, but these are the rest of my friends." Spike introduced while she came up to them.
"Nice to meet you all! Sorry for the mess." Smolder apologized while she shook each of they're hands.
"No problem, it's so nice to know Spike has a sister!" Crane greeted while they all introduced eachother.
"They're all kind of my best friends, and this! This is Master Shifu, a legend!" Po said dramatically showing him to Shifu.

"It is very nice to meet you, Master Panda, and Smolder, you should come with us to the training halls, your son Po will be teaching the class." Shifu suggested which everyone cringed at from the thought.
"Dear Celestia no..." Spike prayed while he didn't want that to happen which interested Li a lot.
"No no! I'm sure they're tired from the long travel, they're tired! I'm gonna show them to the Chrysanthemum Suite." Po said not waning them to see his failure.
"Yeah they've had a long way traveling here, I'm sure some rest is in order." Spike said nervously while trying to bring Smolder with them.
"What's wrong with Po teaching the class?" Smolder asked wondering what's wrong.

"Come on Po, I'm sure me and Smolder would love to see you teach." Li encouraged which made him nervous.
"Trust us, it'll be better to just watch us... " Po said right before they heard an alarm gong go off which alerted everyone.
"Fight!" Po finished quickly getting eager to go.
"What's that?" Li asked getting worried with the noise.
"The Valley's under attack!" Tigress said seriously before she, Shifu and the other 5 started moving.
"Come on guys, let's go!" Spike shouted while he quickly went flying down the valley.
"What does he mean under attack?!" Smolder asked scared at the thought of it.
"This is perfect! Now you can see what being the Dragon Warrior and Master is about! Follow me!" Po encouraged while he ran down to the valley as the sun was setting in the horizon.

Spike and the 5 made they're way down to the Valley which was now being attacked by some strange Jade creatures, they looked nearly mindless and were just attacking whatever they saw, Spike assisted Viper against one of them and he was blocking more attacks with his metal arm while everyone made battle cry's. One of the enemy's aimed some arrow's at Spike and shot them at him who ducked under it and grabbed one with his tail before throwing it back at him.
"Bring it on!" Spike shouted while he was deflecting multiple sword slashes.
"Enemy's of justice! Prepare to..( all the enemy's quickly turned to Po and he saw just how strange they looked) What?! Are you kidding me?!" Po asked while he was in the air, and this shock made him lose his focus and he fell off the roof for a moment, everyone just turned their attention to the monsters and resumed fighting to stop them.

Spike shot a fire blast at one of them to take it down, but the fire deflected right off him which surprised Spike a lot.
"Viper you know what to do!" Spike advised while he charged up his chi arm.
"Got it!" Viper replied while she quickly coiled around the monster to restrain it, Spike made a battle cry and delivered a strong punch to the monster's face which was powerful enough to send it off the roof and into some stands where a person screaming could be heard from it.
"What's the deal with these green guys?" Po asked while he quickly climbed back up, Tigress tried punching another one, but the metal barely did anything to her fist which made her shake it off.
"Some kind of Jade Zombies." Tigress answered while the one Spike punched flipped back on the roof and shot more arrows at them, Spike deflected them with his metal arm and went to fight it.
"jade Zombies?" Po asked right before he and Monkey came up with the name.
"Jombies! Jinx!" They both said at once before one knocked Monkey on the head and dragged him away.

Smolder and Li made they're way to the village to see what's up and got worried with the fight Spike and Po were in.
"Lotus, Spike be careful!" Li warned while Spike flipped off of one of them.
"They look really dangerous!" Smolder warned too while Spike jumped off one of their staffs.
"Don't worry we got this!" Spike assured while he delivered a strong kick to one of their faces.
"Don't worry you two, we do this every day!" Po assured right before one kicked him in the back and sent him into the air, it quickly went above him and smashed him down to the roof before Po took a close look at them.
"Whoa! I recognize these guys! The Master Badger Twins! With their Crushing Double Gong technique!" Po said amazed as the two jumped two him and smashed him through the roof.
"Yeah that's the one!" Po said amazed at this while Spike ducked under their staff swings.

Po quickly got up and turned to the one who was shooting arrows from a quilled back he had.
"And that guy is.. no! Master Porcupine!" Po said amazed while he shot an arrow at Po, Monkey quickly jumped over him and deflected the arrow right back at him.
"I thought he died a hundred years ago?" Monkey asked while he helped Po back up.
"These guys are legend!" Po said amazed while he quickly went to get the painter from earlier.
"Get a good sketch of us!" Po encouraged while he went to help Spike fight him off and the sketcher quickly drew a picture while they were fighting.
"Po, duck!" Spike warned while he ducked under more arrow shots and flipped over his head. Po quickly got the Jombie in for a picture pose but it only kicked Po in the face while Spike ducked under another slash.
"Did you get it, did you get it?!" Po asked hoping he had a good one but got upset seeing the result.
"Aw, I blinked!" Po said sadly while the picture showed Po getting kicked in the face with Spike ducking under the slash in a cool way.

"Can we get another one?" Po asked hopefully just before he was tackled across the roof and went flying directly back into his old room in Ping's shop.
"I'm being chocked by Master Porcupine this is so cool!" Po said in between breaths until Spike jumped in and punched him down.
"Po, focus, this isn't time to act like a fanboy!" Spike advised just before Porcupine punched him to the wall and was punching his face in.
"Right, sorry!" Po apologized while he quickly got Spike out of it and Shifu went to join in too.
"Take em down, now!" Shifu encouraged as he twirled his staff around to deflect more arrows.

Ping was really upset about what happened earlier with Li and was cutting some food in frustration.
"Message from the universe, I'll give you a message from the universe! Stay away from my son!" Ping told himself just before Spike and everyone else came crashing through the roof above him.
"Sorry dad we'll clean up later!" Po apologized while he went to find something to help.
"Po take this pan!" Spike shouted while he tossed him a large one.
"No, not my good pan! Take this one!" Ping said as he took the large one away and handed him a much smaller one that was like a spoon.

Po and Spike deflected more attacks from the Badger Jombies just as Smolder and Li came into the shop.
"Spike behind you!" Smolder warned just as Spike ducked under a slash and kicked him back. Po tried hitting the Jombie with the small pot which only made it's tip break off from it's metal, it then tried slashing at Po who ducked under it and it resulted with a poster of Po having it's head slashed off which made Li scream with fear.
"Dad check out our Dumplings of Doom! Spike, you remember your training for this one?" Po asked just as Spike shot multiple dumplings into the air.
"It took me a month to be able to eat over 100 dumplings, I'm more then ready!" Spike said eagerly while he and Po ate all the dumplings they could find, Viper quickly coiled around Po while Spike took a deep breath, Tigress came behind and pulled Viper's tail which made Po shoot all the dumplings at them like bullets, and Spike shot the dumplings from his mouth which set them on fire and they all hit the Jombies in ways that made them venerable for everyone to pin them down.
"Gotcha!" Po said with victory while the Jombies glared at them.

But their victory seemed to be stopped as they heard an evil laugh coming from them all, and the camera zooms into one of their eyes and we see Kai near a strange ship in the desert looking at them all.
"I see you, your Chi will soon be mine." Kai said from all of them which spooked Smolder and Li a bit.
"Is he talking to me?" Po asked looking at the others.
"Which one, they're all talking?" Tigress pointed out again.
"Oh, your right, that's so scary. We should try doing that might be scary back to them!" Po suggested looking at them all.
"That may not even work at all Po." Spike advised which just irritated Kai.

"It's not them talking! Idiots! It's me talking through them, Kai!" Kai introduced which confused them all.
".... Who?" Spike and the others asked all at once which was really frustrating to him.
"Okay, okay, enough!" Kai declared before he used his powers which made all the Jombies start fading away and they're spirits seemed to fly off which shocked everyone here.
"What was that?" Spike asked getting worried on what this is meaning for them all.
"Did you see that they just.. poof and went off like that! Shifu what was that?!" Po asked turning to him who tried thinking of the name.
"Kai, Kai, Kai... no never heard of him." Shifu said bluntly which was kinda funny.

Everyone made they're way to the palace archives to see if there's anything that's been made about Kai.
"Kai, Kai. Where is it? There's so much wisdom in here I can't find anything!" Shifu asked himself until he pulled out a special green scroll.
"Yes, here it is! Behold!" Shifu said dramatically while he showed them all of it.
"All the answers will be found within.( Shifu then took the scroll out and opened it only to see..), What?! It's blank?! Are you kidding me?! Not again!" Shifu said horrified at all of this.
"I think there's more to it Shifu." Spike said as he pulled out more of it which did show more of a story to it.
"Hold on, he's right, sorry. Okay, here we go." Shifu said as he took some breaths and began reading them a story.

"It is written in Oogway's hand.. long ago, I had a brother." Shifu translated which shocked everyone for a moment.
"Oogway had a brother?" Monkey asked looking closer at it.
"In arms. Sorry, he said, brother in arms." Shifu finished showing them more of it.
"Maybe you should just unroll it all at once?" Mantis suggested which was a good idea and Shifu began reading them all a story and Oogway's voice narrates on what happened.

"I was an ambitious young warrior leading a great army. Fighting alongside me was Kai, my closest friend." Oogway narrates as the scene of them fighting against army's of other people is seen in the scroll.
"One day, we were ambushed. I was gravely wounded. My friend carried me for days, looking for help.. until we came to a secret village.. high in the mountains, an ancient place of healing.. a village.. of pandas." Oogway continued which made everyone gasp in surprise from hearing that.
"Pandas?!" Po asked shocked to hear all of it.
"Yes, pandas. Pandas, who used the power of Chi to heal me.." Oogway said as all the pandas gathered around him and used Chi to cure all the wounds he had taken.

"And they had taught me how to give Chi.." Oogway continued even more while they see Oogway learn Chi from them, and he uses it to give life into a tree and Kai could only watch and was starting to feel jealous of what it could do.
"Ah, but Kai.. wanted the power all to himself. He saw that what could be given.. could also be taken.." Oogway said regretfully as Kai is seen stealing Chi from a panda and turning him into a small source of power like what's happened with Oogway and the other masters. But Oogway came in and kicked him down, he looked really upset about this betrayal, and had to do one thing to stop him.
"I had to stop him, and what were once the closest of friends, became the greatest of rivals.." Oogway said as they're battle is seen going across the entire world while Kai's battle cry could be heard.
"Our battle shook the Earth, until finally, I banished Kai to the Spirit Realm. Should he ever return to the mortal realm.. he can only be stopped by a true master of Chi." Shifu finished while everyone was in complete shock of this story.

Smolder and Li were listening to all of this and were getting more and more worried for Po and Spike.
"Master of Chi.. like you and Spike!" Po said turning to them who were surprised at that.
"Me? I can barely make a flower bloom! I'd need at least 30 more years, and a cave." Shifu pointed out while Spike looked at his own arm.
"i haven't fully tapped into Chi since I saved Viper's home, and I don't know how to fully use it aside from some strong attacks." Spike said regretfully while clutching it.
"He will continue stealing each master's Chi, until he has consumed it all!" Shifu said with worry while Spike and Po looked at the image of Oogway being healed by the pandas, and wondered if that can tie into it all.

"Me and Smolder can teach you and Spike son." Li announced which surprised everyone.
"Really?" Spike asked surprised to hear that.
"You can do this?" Po asked looking up to them.
"Of course, I'm a panda." Li answered while Smolder smiled nervously.
"And I've lived long enough to know what it is." Smolder answered too which gave everyone some hope.
"That must be why the universe sent you two here! So what do me and Spike have to do?!" Po asked ready for the first step.
"You have to come home with us." Li answered which everyone was surprised at hearing.
"Really? To the panda village?" Spike asked wondering how that will help.
"Yeah, while Po has to learn how to live like a panda again, I'm sure what's holding you back from fully using Chi, is not fully getting to spend time with your family!" Smolder advised while they came up to them.

But Ping was really anxious about all of this and tried finding a a way to stop this.
"You can't take Po away from me! I want a second opinion! Open another scroll or something!" Ping begged holding another scroll out for them.
"I think they should go." Shifu answered honestly.
"And if Spike needs to spend more time with his family, then I'm more then fine with him going out for a bit." Viper said with a smile which he was relieved by.
"Thanks Viper.." Spike said gratefully to hear this while Po turned to Ping.
"Dad, you heard what Shifu said from the scroll, this guy can only be stopped by a true master of Chi, and Spike and I can only master it by knowing who we are. And, well.. I'm a panda.." Po admitted which made Ping see he had no choice for this.
"And I'm a dragon, I'm sure some time with my sister will finally help me see who I am, there's a lot I still have questioned, and I'd like to spend time to get them answered." Spike said looking at Smolder and Li who smiled hearing this while Ping admitted defeat.
"I'll pack your lunch for the road you two." Ping said sadly while he went off to pack things up.

We cut to the next morning where Spike and Po were seen leaving the palace with Li and Smolder and were heading out the panda village while Shifu and the others watched them go.
"Do you think Spike and Po can really fully master Chi in time?" Viper asked hoping they could.
"Doesn't matter what I think, it only matters what the universe thinks." Shifu answered with a smile looking up at the sky.
"So.. that's a no?" Mantis asked which upset him a bit.
"Master, what are we going to do?" Crane asked worried about this.

"You, are going to find out where Kai is. Follow the trail of those jade creatures, but do not engage! For every foe he faces, Kai becomes stronger." Shifu warned while looking out in the distance.
"Why me? Is it because I asked?" Crane asked upset to hear that.
"No, it is because you can fly. Go!" Shifu instructed pointing outwards While Mantis hopped on Crane's hat.
"You should've kept your beak shut." Mantis joked which he laughed at.
"And take Mantis." Shifu said suddenly which shocked him.
"What? Oh man.. is it because I?" Mantis asked before Shifu finished for him.
"Yes." Shifu said smugly which made Mantis groan in annoyance while everyone laughed at him. And with that, Crane took off to find out where Kai is while Spike went with Smolder, Po and Li to the panda village to find a way to stop Kai for good..

Hey guys thanks for reading this! I've recently noticed more dislikes coming into the story, and I would like to address some things to the readers who may not be liking it. I'm sorry about the sudden tone shift in the story which may be the reason some are disliking the story right now, but I'm just trying to follow along with the movies to keep things up with the story, I would've kept a consistent tone from the 1st movie in this franchise if I had the choice, but I'm just following along with everything here, and while I know some may not like the addition of Smolder being here too, and may not like how I've handled the story with it's flaws, I am just trying to make the story stand out a bit more the best way I can. I'm sorry for those who are disliking the story right now, but I'm really doing my best with it. But I hope you liked this chapter and look forward to more!
