Casus Belli I: Shining Armor`s Last Battle

Shining Armor opened the gate and faced Chrysalis, who was standing on the other side of the entrance plaza. She smiled confident, but Shining Armor wasnt here to negotiate. Behind him his army of brave stallions regrouped to battle formation. Every stallion was eager to give his life in this last battle to revenge the fallen princesses and to safe the last one, Princess Cadence. It was a last attempt to win the battle, to free the prisoners and to defeat Chrysalis. So brave, so heroic and still this effort was in vain against the endless numbers of Chrysalissubjects.

Shining Armor looked a last time to his stallions, to see in their faces. They were ready, no one stayed behind in the false safety of the palace. Even the wounded ones stayed in line, suppressing their pain and their disabilities to fight side by side with their brethren. He nodded to lieutenant Black Arrow and to captain Armor Shard. They nodded back.

“Never retreat, never surrender! Our lives for the princess.” whispered Shining Armor to himself.

Then he led on the attack.
