Area: Tower of Death
Year: 1944

Scootaloo, Jonathan, and Charlotte entered this area and found Gaibon in the very first room. Gaibon looked at Scootaloo and immediately fleed. "Shame, it would have been fun to give Death's little minions a fun taste of pain," Scootaloo said. Nobody said anything about it. The group found a boss room, a save room, a warp room, and an area that Scootaloo could use to access the rest of the Tower of Death.

Scootaloo entered the rest of the Tower of Death and got to work exploring, finding a Rose Stem Whip for Jonathan who was still using the Chain Whip from the Sandy Grave and a warp to take her back to the others, which she used.

She gave Jonathan the whip and they saved before going to fight the boss... or well... Jonathan and Scootaloo were, Charlotte was locked out. Shit.

Jonathan looked around, "Hey wait, Charl? Where are you Charlotte?" Jonathan asked confused.

Scootaloo taps Jonathan's shoulder, "Morris! We have company," Scootaloo said in a tone that she knew caught the attention of others while gesturing to Stella.

"I'd grown tired of waiting since you stole my sister, you monsters!" Stella spoke in a state of unbridled rage.

"Please stop! You don't have to fight against us, Stella! We're trying to help you, we do not want to fight!"

"Yes, as fun as it'd be to kill you, I doubt anyone want to see Stella dead on the ground, just come on and surrender so we can purify you, Stella."

"No, I shall tear you limb from limb by myself!" Stella drew a sword and got ready to fight. Scootaloo and Jonathan weren't pleased but had no other option but to fight. Jonathan used his Rose Stem Whip to attack Stella while Scootaloo kept her distance...

Something felt off... very off...

Why was Stella so easy? There's no way she's this weak... right?

Then she near instantly teleported behind Jonathan while saying "It's hopeless" then slashing Jonathan while his back was towards her! Scootaloo jumped and caught Jonathan nefore setting him down in a corner so he can rest before fighting again.

"Stella! You didn't give Jonathan time to react to that! Are you mentally insane?!" Scootaloo said as she got ready to turn into a bat(something she hadn't done since 1798).

"How dare a stupid horse like you call me mentally ill!?" Stella had done the unthinkable... she called Scootaloo a horse which, thanks to Twilight and Alucard, the entire world should know that it's a slur to ponies.

Scootaloo didn't hold back as she Wing Smashed into Stella before untransforming and attacking with her rapier with new-found vigor. When she was done, Stella was laying on the ground. "Word of advice: Don't call me or anypony a horse unless you want to be slashed down, I can handle being called a chicken, but horse is not a word ponies tolerate."

Brauner came and took Stella away, sweat very clear on his head at what he saw. Brauner was scared of Scootaloo.

The doors opened and Charlotte came through, "What happened? It closed before I could get in," Charlotte stated.

"We had to fight Stella... because you were locked out, you couldn't use Sanctuary to purify her. Meaning she's still a vampire under Brauner's control."

"Shamefully..."

Area: Master's Keep(Lost Gallery)
Year: 1944

Brauner entered his room with Stella still in his grip as Mental Sap made his clicking sounds, "So she went against orders... inpudent," Mental Sap said to Brauner who just started to heal the many cuts and injuries Stella sustained.

"I don't blame her, she most definitely underestimated the pony and her desire to protect her friends," Brauner replied, "Like I did... I expected this to be easy but... I may just have to let this castle crumble to avoid failing..."

Mental Sap tilted his head, "You mean to say that you do not trust we can obtain victory?" He asked as Brauner nodded. Mental Sap scoffed. "You are a weakling Brauner. Your 'Blood Art Technique' could be useful in the right hooves, or hands in this pathetic world's case."

Brauner looked... unknowingly... at Mental Sap who was busy digging in it's "saddlebags" for a small device that has the quality of others made by Chaos. "What of that pony you stole away? Silent Night?" Brauner asked as Mental Sap found what he was looking for.

"Well, making she's doing well considering she can't think on her own, unlike your own stolen daughter since we both know very well that even if your daughters reincarnated to Eric's daughters, those still aren't your daughters," Mental Sap replied causing Brauner to sigh.

"Couldn't you not remind me? It's bad enough Scootaloo knows about it, I do not need you reminding me..." Brauner said, knowing full well that Mental Sap was more worried about whatever he was tasked with by the deathly filly snooping around Dracula's Castle.

"Relax Brauner, if Apple Bloom and Death got close to defeating Scootaloo before, they can this time. Plus, we have Death's new trick this time since I had to convince him to assist us... at the cost that after your defeat at Scootaloo and her annoying friends, Death can kill you," Mental Sap explained, basically telling Brauner that failure meant his soul got taken. Mental Sap smirked, his green eyes holding no visible emotion but the smug expression was clear.

Brauner sat down, worried. Brauner turned to his canvas and got to work making what he hopes will be his masterpiece.

Area: Tower of Death
Year: 1944
While Mental Sap and Brauner were conversing...

Scootaloo brought Jonathan and Charlotte to the warp room she accessed earlier as they exited. "Death, and presumedly Apple Bloom, are close, I sense his energy at an all time high," Scootaloo told them.

"Is it just me, or does it feel like we broke sequence a little?" Charlotte commented.

"Charlotte, you know we couldn't access the last painting because of some stupid bone trees and we have one area that we can explore thanks to Scoots' smaller size," Jonathan reminded Charlotte. The trio were exploring the Tower of Death in an effort to find either Death or Apple Bloom since both were in the castle, and by finding then defeating them, they'd gain access to the last portrait and, thankfully, whatever abilities lay in there.

As the group went up, they eventually found a save room and a boss door.

Scootaloo was trapped in the grip of some chains, Death on one side of her, Apple Bloom on the other and both looked hungry for blood. Jonathan had fallen and was now bleeding out after failing to avoid a mini-scythe and Charlotte had died after being exploded by Apple Bloom's bone trees turning into the exploding skulls... and now Scootaloo was next to die...

In a matter of moments, Scootaloo apologized to Eric for failing to save both of his daughters before everything went black.

Scootaloo snapped from that death memory, confirming her suspicions... Apple Bloom and Death are working together. Jonathan and Charlotte looked at Scootaloo, worried. "It's as I suspected, Apple Bloom and Death will be fighting us together but they have some new tricks as well, just like everytime... okay, first off, Death has two forms that I can recalled, a white cloaked one that Jonathan can hit and the classic purple cloaked one that Charlotte can hit. Second, Death can summon chains to trap us before he and Apple Bloom slice us with their scythes, the others can attack the chains to free the trapped one but it takes a while. And lastly, Apple Bloom is not to be taken lightly, even if Death is hard, Apple Bloom will give her all and make it a nightmare to survive, since she and Death will both be summoning Mini-Scythes. But those aren't even what concerns me... it's the fact that she hasn't used the giant chomping skulls since 1798 which means she could use them if we're unlucky," Scootaloo explained as Jonathan and Charlotte nodded.

Entering the boss room allowed Scootaloo, Jonathan, and Charlotte to see Death and Apple Bloom. "Mah mah... mighty fine seein' ya chicken! And let's see who yer with... a child with insane magic on a boy who can't wield the holy whip. Shame, figured ya'd bring better friends after how close 1813 was fer ya," The deathly filly said.

"You must be Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle's right hand lady!" Jonathan announced as Apple Bloom nodded, "Well it won't matter if I can or can't use the Vampire Killer, I'll still kick your asses!" he added as Apple Bloom and Death laughed and summoned their respective scythes.

"We'll see about that, whip bearer." Death said as he fixed his pin.

"I sense Equestrian magic in Death... I'm not sure if we should be worried or not," Charlotte whispered to Scootaloo, who nodded in reply.

Jonathan and Charlotte went to deal with Death while Scootaloo dealt with Apple Bloom. Apple Bloom threw her scythe and it split into a shockwave of mini-scythes before she held her hooves out... oh shit.

Scootaloo moved back and forth as the giant skulls appeared to chomp at her, but she did get chomped once and, even with her insane health and defense, it hurt like hell, Apple Bloom clearly hasn't been slumping on training. After the attack with the skulls, Apple Bloom held a hoof out and her scythe reappeared before she teleported and got ready to do a purely horizontal swipe with it that Scootaloo dodged by simply crouching. Scootaloo counterattacked and dealt... okay damage to Apple Bloom. Apple Bloom then smacked two spots on the geound and grew bone trees before she hit a spot and, instead of growing a bone tree, created a shockwave.

"Well, that's a trick, a new one at that."

"Nah, had that fer a while, since 1798 actually."

Scootaloo used the subtle opening to attempt an attack but Apple Bloom saw it coming from a mile away and so blocked then countered so Death could trap Scootaloo in an iron-clad grip of chains catching Scootaloo off guard as both Death and Apple Bloom line up their scythes to attack.

Jonathan and Charlotte noticed that and used their Holy Lightning Dual Crush to break the chains before the attack could finish. Scootaloo slowly and eeriely lifted herself off the ground as she looked at Death and Apple Bloom. "Jonathan. Let's do a Dual Crush, just you and me, ok?" Scootaloo asked in an eerie tone but regardless, Jonathan agreed.

Scootaloo and Jonathan came together and held their hand/hoof out and when they connected...

"BLOOD CROSS!"

"BLOOD CROSS!"

After Scootaloo and Jonathan announced their Dual Crush, a giant dark and ominous cross appeared from them and started attacking Death, who was in his white cloak, and Apple Bloom while healing the users and when it was over, so was the fight.

"How the hell could ya'll beat us?!" Apple Bloom said in annoyence at having lost.

"Yes... there is no way that the three of you possibly possess these such abilities..."

"Heh, I may not have the whip's power but I don't even need it as I, no, we still kicked your asses!"

"That's right! Now resign yourselves to your fate!"

Apple Bloom and Death laughed at each other hearing Charlotte's demand. "So the child thinks she can boss two shinigami around, especially since I was holding back."

"That's your excuse? Pretty lame if you ask me."

Death flew off as Apple Bloom just kept laughing without a sense of stopping. Jonathan attacked Apple Bloom. "Finally, her laughter is just stupid as fucking hell. Seriously, she needs to learn to not leave herself open," Scootaloo commented.

Apple Bloom snarled before teleporting off.

"How much you wanna bet we see them again?"

"I'm pretty sure even Scootaloo could see that's not a fair bet and it's surprising I'm saying it since you usually notice this kind of stuff before I do."

"Yeah, we'll definitely see them again, no need to bet on it."

Entering the room immediately after where they fought Death and Apple Bloom, the group found an elevator that they activate and head all the way down to go back to where they found the bone trees to find they had been removed. The group saves in the save room a little ways downwards in comparison to the portrait's room.

Sooooo.... Scootaloo got to beat Death's croonies.

Okay okay, let's talk Dual Crushes. Why did I include Blood Cross from Castlevania Harmony of Despair(Castlevania HD)? As far as you know Scootaloo doesn't have any unholy affinity. Need I remind you that she was in her Alucard form and Alucard + Jonathan makes Blood Cross because of Alucard's relation to Dracula and also technically his dark magic. Scootaloo uses the same magic as Alucard and thus it turns the usually holy and kind Cross into the dark and ominous Blood Cross. Just my take on it. Also, I have no idea what the hell to do with Forest of Doom considering the group does not need the Frog Morph so what the hell do I do with the Forest of Doom to make it somewhat interesting and required aside from just... doing what the extra modes do and making it being beaten allow access to its harder counterpart the Dark Academy?
