After Hollow had trained him growing up, he sought his nemesis out for blood, but to no avail. Up and down the west, he wandered in the years gone by, until Hollow brought him back into her mission with Charger.
A month after Elder Bristle's bunker was overrun by White Noise and Joy's numbers, and the rift was opened, Charger returned, and with him, so too did some of Scope's friends, one of whom had a lead on his target's whereabouts. He was told almost immediately upon their arrival to Dead Sector, and from that point on, it was all that was on his mind.
After the war against White Noise was - hopefully - concluded, and things began to settle down for the time being between the other factions while they rebuilt, Scope saw his company wasn't needed at that time, and set off east to finish his mission.
