Beyond Canterlot Castle, on the other side of the Maneterhorn, lies the Canterlot Historical District. A place of gas lamps, old fashions, and archaic businesses. Some call it the Historic Section, others the Gaslamp section, others Old Town.

The elite call it The Trough.

It is a quiet place, separate from the larger city, and many know to leave the place to it's own devices, as the district's residents do for the rest of the city. Everything moves slowly, and even the local police force has taken to sloth and salt.

But this is soon to change. Bodies will drop, and very soon, the police will need to mobilize to keep the town from tearing itself apart.
