Trapped
Room
Previous ChapterHey, is this thing on? Hello? Hello?
Small red light. Good. And a screen? Blinking cursor.
Okay.
So.
Get this.
I’m in a room--
Look under laundry machine
Um... Alright, then?
Hold on, let me find the laundry machine; it’s very dark in here...
No, that’s not it.
Ow! My head! Is this a pipe? It is definitely a pipe. Where am I?!
Okay, hit the switch. This room is rather spartan, isn’t it? Though, if you knew that there was a laundry machine in here, you must be familiar with it.
Right, under the laundry machine. There’s... something under there. It’s shiny, on the ground. I can’t fit my hoof between the bottom of the machine and the floor, and it’s too heavy for me to lift from this angle. Ah, well, it was worth a shot.
Hm? There’s a crack under the laundry machine, extending up into the wall behind it. It’s in the shape of a square, judging by the looks of it. It’s too dark to see what’s back there, though.
The laundry machine is in the corner of the room, between the dryer and a wall. I don’t think I’ll be able to move it.
Investigate the bricks.
The bricks? That seems like an odd thing to investigate. If you say, so, though.
They appear to be bricks. Nothing too special about them; just walls made of brick, a little rough--I could probably file my hoof on these if I tried--but nothing out of the ordinary about them, as far as I can tell.
I move for bucking the U shaped pipe. Knocking it off may provide some peepholes.
Now there’s an interesting idea!
OW!
Now there was a rather painful idea. The pipe is quite solid. It’s made of metal and bolted to the ceiling, about the width of my leg, running down into the room. Very poor design, if I must say--it doesn’t seem to serve any purpose, running through the center of this room like that.
Preheat oven to 375°F
I’m sorry? There’s no oven in here.
Za warudo! Toki wa tomare!
Erm... What? I’m sorry; I don’t speak Neighponese.
Okay, so--looking around the room, there doesn’t appear to be an exit. I can only assume that you weren’t the ones who put me in here, or else your instructions would likely have been a little more demanding. I can probably also assume that you’re not exactly sure where I am, despite knowing what the room looks like, with the switch in the corner, the pipe, the laundry machine and dryer, the bookcase with the three books--Oh, a cookbook. I guess that oven comment from before makes more sense now.
But yes, anyways. Door. There doesn’t appear to be one in here. I don’t suppose you would know how to get out?
