Planet Earth, the known inhabitants of this planet are human beings as there are eight billion of them living on it. It seems pretty normal at first before a very strange yet powerful wave of energy swept over the planet. The energy seems to have changed the landscape of the planet as a few Islands seem to be floating in the air while the sky looks a bit digital. In a land, the land was covered in a dark shadow as multiple creatures walked out of a fortress.

These creatures came in all shapes and sizes while their eyes seem to be glowing red, an Army of Darkness marches forward.

But on the other side of the valley, a light shined across the land as a figure stood tall with a determined look. He had light yellow skin with bright red hair, he wore a school uniform with a sun symbol on his right while goggles rested on his head. Soon multiple figures did with him as the light behind them seemed to cover them in a shadow while a short porcupine like figure stood beside the boy. Each of the figures that looked human seemed to be holding some sort of device while different creatures stood beside them. They looked on to the army of darkness approaching before each of them held up the device and called out only one word.

"Digimon!" One row of people called out.

"Digimon!" Another row called out as they held up their devices.

"Digimon!" The final row with the boy with goggles on called out as they held up their devices and the screens lit up. The strange creatures standing next to them then started glowing before they certainly flew off into the sky. When they landed, they seemed to be bigger before they charged at the dark army and began to fight. The one with large spikes on its body struck down a few dark soldiers before charging at a large figure with golden armor.

The teen boy let out a gasp as he woke and sat up in his bed. He looked around and found himself in his bedroom before letting out a sigh. "Tech Cyber, breakfast is ready!" A woman's voice called out.

"Okay, mom, I'll be right down!" Tech called out before climbing out of bed and went over to some curtains. He pulled back the curtains and opened the window before looking up at the digital sky above. A few flying Digimon were seen flying overhead before he looked down and saw more Digimon helping out with humans with some things. "Boy, it feels like just yesterday that things changed and everything. Wish things were better with a Digimon of my own though…" He then got dressed as he put on a yellow T-shirt with a red V in the middle of it before putting on blue jeans and grabbing his goggles.

Tech then looked himself in the mirror as his mind was thinking back to the dream he had. "It felt so real… and the Digimon that was standing next to me, what was it?" He wondered before he let out a sigh. "Still, it's really nice to have a digimon partner even though it was a dream." He soon came downstairs to find his mother, who has dark red skin with orange hair with pink streaks, placing down a plate of pancakes on a table. "Morning mom."

"Morning, Tech." His mother replied as he sat down at the table. "I'm guessing you had the dream of having a digimon partner again."

"Yeah, except this time there were other people with their own Digimon wearing the Digimon Academy uniforms." Tech mentioned. "We were facing off a bunch of evil Digimon and I woke up right after the battle began."

"I'm sure your friends will enjoy hearing that."

"Mom, most of my friends are at the Digimon Academy when they got their Digimon partners." Tech mentioned with a sad tone as he started poking his pancakes with a fork. "I really want to go there myself, but I need to be partnered up with a digimon in order for me to go."

"Now Tech, I know things have been hard with everything that has changed since ten years ago." His mother said with a sincere tone as she sat down across from him. "Especially when your father disappeared when you were just 6 years old before everything changed. But I'm sure that things will get better over time, you just have to wait and see." Tech looked at his mother with a small smile before she continued. "Now eat your breakfast and get ready for school."

Tech nodded before he began to eat his pancakes. As he was eating, he couldn't help but continue thinking about his dream as it felt so real to him.

Meanwhile at an unknown facility, red alarms were blurring as a bunch of soldiers and Digimon were seen running through the halls. "Subject 77-90 has escaped!" A woman's voice called out on the intercon. "I repeat, Subject 77-90 has escaped!" A small little shadowy blur was seen running before it jumped into a vent when it saw some soldiers.

Bumping can be heard inside of the vents as the small creature was falling through them. Soon it came out the other end and fell into a delivery truck before it drove off and out of the facility. The small creature then popped its head out from the back and saw it was moving away from the facility and into the city.

Tech is sitting in class as he wrote down the lesson in his notebook like some of the other students. He then looks out the window for a moment as he has a feeling inside like something is coming, something different. Soon the school bell rang as the students closed their books and made their way out to the halls. "Yeah, my cousin totally aced her first mission with her squad like a pro!" He overheard a girl saying to her friends in the halls. "She and her squad took care of a really bad underground Digimon fight tournament."

"Really, like one of those illegal fight tournaments?" One of her friends asked. "Like the ones that don't stop until the opposing Digimon is destroyed?"

"Where was that?" Another one of her friends asked.

"They were in Italy, she even sent me some pictures." She replied before pulling out her phone and showing her friends. "I'm so jealous of my own cousin, I wish I had my own Digimon partner too."

"You and me both…" Tech said to himself before he continued on. Meanwhile outside, the truck that left the facility parked right outside the school. Just as some of the teachers came out to help unload the truck and Tech was walking by, the small shadowy creature quickly jumped out and hid in a bush. Tech stopped when he heard something rustling in the bushes before he shrugged his shoulders and continued on.

He's about to make his way to his next class before he heard a door closed and saw a small crack near the boiler room door. He then heard strange noises coming from the boiler room as his curiosity got the better of them and decided to check it out. He pulled out his phone and turned on the flashlight as the room was a bit dark before he looked around.

He shined his flashlight around to look for something out of the ordinary, but couldn't find anything. "I guess it was just my imagination." He said to himself before he saw a shadow being cast on the wall. He saw that the shadow had three horns on it while it looked a bit menacing. He felt scared for a moment until he heard a high pitch voice coming from the floor.

"Hi, I'm Pusurimon." He looked down and saw that the one that was casting a shadow appeared to be a small gray hamster, with white around the mouth and front legs. On its forehead was a crop of pointed yellow fur and on its hide-quarters, there were a bunch of yellow cone spikes. "Do you have anything to eat? I'm really hungry."

"Huh??"

Later somewhere in town, a portal made out of pixels and light opened up before two figures came through. A teenage girl with violet skin, indigo hair with pink stripes, wearing glasses and a dark blue school uniform landed on the ground with a teenage boy with light yellow skin, dark blue spiky hair and eyes while wearing his own school uniform. The moment they laid on the ground, the boy almost lost his balance before he composed himself. "I'm never going to get used to that digi-transport." He said to himself before he looked at the girl who pulled out a rectangular device that had a dark purple color with hot pink outlines.

"Okay, the others should be arriving in different parts of town by now." She informed him. "Now we can begin our search for that Rogue Digimon."

"Okay, like before, us on the ground while we have eyes in the sky Twilight?"

"Way ahead of you, Flash." Twilight replied before she held up her device. "Reload, Tentomon!" Her device lit up before a Digimon suddenly appeared in front of them. Tentomon is derived from the ladybug. It is a bipedal Digimon with four arms with the first pair each ending in a single grey talon. It has large, green eyes, mouth-like mandibles, and two yellow antennae reaching out from its head. Its elytra is covered with grey spines. It is red and brownish green in coloration with black muscle in the face, neck, the brachium of its arms, and its thighs.

"Hey Twilight, nice day for a fly." Tentomon greeted with a happy tone before he buzzed his wings and hovered in the air. "Same deal as last time?"

"Yup, give us a bird's eye view of the surrounding areas and let us know if you saw anything out of the ordinary." Twilight instructed before Tentomon nodded and flew high into the sky as she looked at Flash. "Now we just need to look around and ask some people and Digimon if they've seen anything odd."

"Then let's get going." Flash replied before the two of them started going around. As they started looking for this Rogue Digimon, they passed Tech who was sitting on a park bench and looking at Pusurimon with a curious look.

"Are you really a Digimon?" He asked Pusurimon, as he nodded in response. "Huh, by the looks of it, you're in your In-Training level. But I've never seen a Digimon like you before."

"That's what they said when they first saw me." Pusurimon mentioned before he hopped onto the bench and sat next to Tech.

"Who said that about you?"

"I don't know, but they always did call me a mysterious Digimon." Pusurimon replied before they both heard his stomach growl. "Although I wish I had something to eat…"

"Oh yeah, I did promise you that I would give you something to eat." Tech mentioned before he reached into his bag and pulled out his lunch box. He unzipped it and only found a couple of packs of gummies inside. "This is all I have left, it's not enough but I promise to buy you a full meal later." He grabbed one of the packs and opened it up before offering the little Digimon a handful of gummies.

Pusurimon looked at the gummies for a moment before he sniffed one of them. Even took a red one into his mouth and gave it a few chews before his eyes lit up. "This is very scrumptious!" He cheered with delight before he started eating the rest of the gummies.

"Wow, he must really like them that much if you ate them all in like less than a minute." Tech mentioned with a slight chuckle. He then noticed the time as he had an excited look on his face. "Oh man, the final round is starting soon! I got to check it out myself!"

"Check what out?" Pusurimon asked him with curiosity.

"The Digimon tournament that's happening uptown, I can't miss it!" Tech answered before picking up Pusurimon. "And as luck would have it, there's some food stands in the stadium so we can get you something to eat." He soon placed Pusurimon in his backpack before putting it on.

"What kind of food?" Pusurimon asked from within the backpack.

"You'll see, we can take one of the Locomons to get there." Tech replied before he started to make his way towards the train station. As he was making his way towards the train station, he passed by a couple of shady characters who seemed to be looking around with their hoods up.

Soon Tech and Pusurimon were on a Locomon with a few other people and Digimon as the train-like Digimon went down the tracks. The tracks seem to be going into the air as Locomon continued on as they seem to be heading towards an island floating in the air. The floating island itself had some sort of colosseum as the Locomon soon entered it as it stopped right out of station. "Are we there yet?" Pusurimon asked as Tech stepped out of Locomon with a few other people and Digimon.

"We're here, and it looks like we just arrived before the fight started." Tech replied before he quickly made his way towards the bleachers. The crowds of people and Digimon cheered as two men were standing in the center of the stadium, both of them having confident looks on their faces. Tech was more excited than anyone as he looked towards the guy with light orange skin, wearing a leather jacket that has a blue and red pattern with matching long pants, and has blue hair.

"Ladies and gentlemen, Digimon of all kinds, welcome to the final round of Digi-Championship!" A man announced to the people via intercon. "It's been an on-the-edge-of-our-seats experience with all the epic battles that have been played out! But now we've reached the end of the tournament and now we get to see if the champion, Glitch Striker, defends his title!" The crowd cheered when the man with the leather jacket waved to them. "Or will the challenger, Hacker Blaster, defeat and take his title?!"

Tech looked over to Hacker, who has dark green skin as he was wearing a black hoodie with white lines on it while he was wearing pitch black pants. Not only that, but he had his hood up so it was hard to tell what his face looked like. Hacker then pulled out a device that is dark gray with dark purple outlines while Glitch pulled out a similar one that is dark blue with light green outlines.

"Now remember, only one Digimon in this fight!" The announcer announced. "The battle will end when either Digimon can't continue on, no going overboard and destroying the opponent Digimon! Now get your Digivices ready, let the championship battle…begin!!"

"Reload, Impmon!" Hacker called out as he held up his Digivice while it lit up. Soon a digimon appeared as it looked like a small, imp-like Digimon the size of a young child. Its entire body is purple, save for its white face, green eyes, the yellow smiley face on its stomach and the white claws on its feet. It wears red gloves and a red neckerchief.

"Reload, Agumon!" Glitch called as his Digivice lit up and his Digimon appeared. His partner Digimon is a short and stout Tyrannosaurus rex-like Digimon standing about 3 feet tall, and has amber orange skin and light green eyes. It also has flattened forearms with broad, three-clawed hands, and distinct pectoral muscles. Its legs and arms are shown to be very vascular. Its tail is stubby, and its head and snout are almost as large as the rest of its body.

As soon as the two Digimon landed on the ground, the entire field soon glowed before multiple boulders rose up. "Let's go, Agumon!" Glitch declared before he and Agumon started to charge forward while Hacker and Impmon started heading towards a pile of rocks.

"Pepper Breath!" Agumon called out his attack before he unleashed a fireball right at Impmon from his mouth. Impmon quickly jumped out of the way before a small flame appeared on the tip of his finger.

"Back at ya, Bada Boom!" Impmon shouted as he tossed the fireball right at Agumon. The attack landed as the small fireball hit agumon in the face and caused him to tumble back.

Glitch quickly caught Agumon before Agumon rubbed his snout. "That was a lucky shot." Agumon mentioned just as Glitch pulled out his Digivice and a small blue disc from his pocket.

"Hey, what's that?" Pusurimon asked as he looked over Tech's shoulder to watch the fight.

"Just watch." Tech replied as Glitch put the disc into a small slot on top of his Digivice.

"Digi-Disc insert, targeting increase!" Glitch declared as digital energy was surging through Agumon. Agumon then targeted Impmon before unleashing multiple Pepper Breath attacks, which nearly hit Impmon a few times before one landed and sent him flying back.

"Impmon!" Hacker called out before he pulled out his own Digi-Disc, this one was colored yellow. "Digi-Disc, insert…!" He called out before placing it into his own Digivice. "Speed increase!" The moment Impmon got energized with the digital energy, he started moving faster and unleashing his attacks onto Agumon. Agumon did his best to dodge each attack before he and Impmon stood beside their partners.

"You and your partner have prepared for anything, I'm impressed." Glitch mentioned with a brow to Hacker.

"Enough practice and strategy planning, anything can be achieved." Hacker then pulled out a silver Digi-Disc with a light blue curved line across it. "But I believe it's time to take this to the next level."

Glitch grinned before he pulled out the same Digi-Disc. "I couldn't agree more."

The crowd cheered with excitement as Tech looked very excited for what's about to happen. "What exactly is everyone so excited about?" Pusurimon questioned him.

"Digi-Disc, insert…!" Both Glitch and Hacker shouted as they both inserted their disc into their Digivice. From within both devices, the disc seemed to be energizing the device within as it was giving out a powerful surge. "Access digivolution!"

"Accessing Digivolution…" Both Digivices unleashed the energy towards their respective Digimon before a digital portal opened up in front of them. Agumon and Impmon soon jumped into the portal in front of them as the digital skin on them started to peel off while they absorbed more data. Their bodies seem to changed as they went through the digital portal and changed.

The crowd cheered as the light died down and the two Rookie level Digimon digivolved into their Champion levels. Pusurimon was very surprised to see Digimon just suddenly digivolving right before his eyes. "How…how did they do that?" He asked Tech with amazement in his tone.

"I'll tell you after the battle." Tech quickly replied as the crowd watched the two Champion Digimon charged at each other. Punkmon was the first to attack as he swung his fist with the golden knuckle brace and punched Greymon right in the stomach. Greymon stumbled back before he spun around and knocked Punkmon back with his tail.

"Not bad bro, but try something like this!" Punkmon opened his mouth as blue flames lit up inside of it. "Anarchist Flame!" He then released multiple blue fireballs right at Greymon, which dealt a large amount of damage to him before he was sent flying back and crashed into a wall.

Glitch quickly went over to Greymon just as he picked himself up. "You okay, big guy?"

"I'm fine…" Greymon growled. "Even in Champion level, these guys are tough to beat."

"Then it's time to bring out the big guns." Glitch then pulled out another Digi-Disc, but this one seems to be half yellow and half orange.

"We better end this, and quickly." Hacker mentioned before he looked at his partner. "Punkmon."

"On it!" Punkmon then charged at Greymon as his two knuckle brace started glowing. "Blitzkrieg Bop!" The symbols on both of them glowed as flames started to emerge just as Glitch put the Digi-Disc into his Digivice.

"Digi-Disc, insert! Access WarGreymon Courage surge!" Glitch declared before Greymon started to feel a surge of energy flowing through him. He then set his sides right towards Punkmon while energy started flowing into his mouth.

"Nova Blast!" Greymon released his attack just as Punkmon unleashed his. Both attacks collided and exploded into a large cloud of smoke. The entire crowd waited in anticipation as they couldn't tell who won before the smoke slowly began to clear. One figure seemed to be standing while the other was on the ground.

When the smoke finally cleared, everyone saw it was Punkmon on the ground before he de-Digivolve back to Impmon and Hacker went up to him. "And there we have folks, the winners and still champions are Glitch Striker and his partner Digimon!" The announcer announced to the audience as they all cheered for his victory. Greymon soon reverted back to Agumon as Hacker walked up to Glitch before they both shook hands.

"Oh yeah, no one can beat Glitch's ace!" Tech shouted excitedly just as both Glitch and Hacker went their separate ways with their Digimon partners. Glitch stopped for a moment and looked up at the stadium which made Tech and Pusurimon feel like he was looking at them. He stared for a moment before a smile appeared on his face before he and Agumon continued on.

Later, Tech and Pusurimon were at a food court as Tech bought some food and placed it on a table for Pusurimon to eat some nuggets and fries. "Hey Tech, why was Glitch looking at us?" Pusurimon asked as Tech was taking a sip of his soda.

"You tell me." He replied with a curious look. "Every time I come here, he always ends up looking at the stadium after his fight and it feels like he's looking right at me. No matter where I sit or where I am in the stadium, it always feels like he's looking right at me for some reason." He then took one of the fries before looking at Pusurimon enjoying a nugget. "I'm guessing you don't get out much."

"This is one of the greatest things that I've ever eaten in my entire life." Pusurimon munched on both the fries and the nuggets. "All they ever gave me was strange little food bits that weren't all that tasteful."

"Who exactly are they?"

"Not entirely sure, all I know is that I was in some sort of dark place and I don't know how long I was in there." Pusurimon replied as he finished up the food. "Next thing I knew, some sparks happened in a tube I was in before a voice told me to run."

"What kind of voice?"

"It was female, and she also said to never let them get me." Pusurimon added before he saw two things that made him gasp and nervous. It was two guys in black suits which he quickly recognized while he saw them coming towards him.

"Target spotted, moving in to apprehend." One of them whispered into his earpiece as they carefully walked closer.

"Pusurimon, what's wrong?" Tech asked before Pusurimon quickly jumped off the table and started running. "Pusurimon?!" He quickly got up and started chasing after him just as the two guys in the suits followed behind.

"How did they find me?!" Pusurimon thought as he ran as fast as he could. "I don't want to go back, I really love it out here!" He soon turned a corner before he bumped into someone's leg as a girl let out a yelp of pain.

"Ow!" Pusurimon looked up and saw both Twilight and Flash in front of him. Twilight looked down and saw the little Digimon that bumped into her leg. "Huh, who's that Digimon?"

Flash brought up his left wrist and looked at his watch as a holographic projection of Pusurimon came up with the word 'Unknown'. "There's not much data on him, maybe this is the rogue Digimon?" Pusurimon looked between the two before he looked back and saw the guys in black coming around the corner. He quickly shouted in fear before running off. "Hey wait!" Flash called out before he and Twilight started chasing after him.

Pusurimon soon ran into a Locomon before the doors shut and started to depart. Neither the guys in the black suits were able to catch up in time, as well as Twilight and Flash. "Subject 77-90 got away in a Locomon." One of the guys in the suits said in his earpiece as they walked away, which Twilight overheard.

"Subject 77-90?" She repeated before they heard a voice coming from behind them.

"Pusurimon!" They both turned to see Tech running towards them before he stopped to catch his breath. "Oh why did he run off like that?!"

"Pusurimon?" Flash asked to get his attention. "Was that the name of the Digimon that just bored that Locomon? Short, gray on top, white on the bottom, has three yellow on his back, kind of looks like a hedgehog?"

"Well yeah, that's…hey wait." Tech looked at both of their uniforms and recognized where they were from. "You both are from Digimon Academy!"

"Yeah, we are." Twilight replied. "I'm Twilight Sparkle and this is Flash Sentry."

"That's so amazing, but where are your Digimon partners?" Tech asked as he looked around them.

"How about you tell us about this Pusurimon?" Flash suggested as Twilight nodded in agreement. Later the three of them were sitting on a bench as Tech told them everything since he met Pusurimon.

"...and then he just ran off and you both can guess where he ran off to." He finished explaining to them. "I don't know where that Locomon is now."

"Sounds like you got something between you both, but are you sure there isn't anything else about him?" Twilight asked with her arms crossed. "Because Pusurimon could be the Rogue Digimon that we're looking for."

"But Pusurimon is at his In-Training level, he's completely harmless." Tech defended. "There's no way he could ever hurt anyone."

"But he could still digivolve if someone were to mistreat him." Flash pointed out. "And those guys in the suits that were chasing Pusurimon felt like bad news and they even called him Subject 77-90 for some reason. All the more reason why we need to find him before something really bad happens."

"But why, why are they after him?" Tech asked with a worried tone before they heard beeping coming from Twilight. She looked at her wrist as her watch was beeping out before she pressed a button on it.

"Twilight, we have a big problem!!" Tentomon's voice shouted through the watch as he sounded worried.

"Tentomon, calm down and tell us what's wrong." Twilight quickly replied. "Did you find the Rogue Digimon?"

"I did but you need to get over here to Big Pal Burger and fast!" Tentomon told her before communication was cut.

"We better get going, Flash." She told him as Flash nodded in agreement before they both pulled out their Digivices.

"Wait, what about Pusurimon?!" Tech quickly asked them as they held up their Digivices.

"Sorry, but we have a mission to do." Flash apologized before both of their Digivices lit up.

"Digiport open!" Both of them called out before a portal made out of Digital Data opened up in front of them. Tech got very worried about Pusurimon and he couldn't wait for the next Locomon. Just as Twilight and Flash was about to enter the digital portal, Tech quickly grabbed both of their arms and entered it with them. He felt his entire body turned into Data as they surged right through a tunnel made of data.

Soon they reached the end as they landed on the ground and back in the city where a building was burning just across the street from them. "Tech, you shouldn't have done that!" Twilight told him with a look. "This could be dangerous if you don't have a Digimon partner!"

"So that's what a Digiport is like…" Tech groaned as his head was spinning before he quickly shook his head and saw the burning building across from them. "Is that Big Pal Burger?"

"Yeah, which means that Digimon that did this could still be around here." Flash mentioned before they saw Tentomon flying towards them.

"Twilight, Flash, we need to hurry!" He called out as he hovered in front of them. "The Digimon that did this Digivolve to do this destruction!"

"No way…" Tech muttered with a worried tone as he remembered what Twilight said about Pusurimon before.

Just before any of them could see anything else, an explosion from the fast food place was heard before a colossal figure rose up from it. Soon they got a good look at the Digimon that stomped out as they recognized which Digimon it was. "It's Allomon!" Twilight called out as they could see him clearly. Allomon is a large, blue dinosaur derived from the Allosaurus with red stripes on its body. It has green eyes, a light blue belly and front-neck.

Allomon has red hair, white feathers with red tips and red and yellow striped feathers on the back of its head drawing inspiration from the Native Americans. "That must be the Rogue Digimon." Flash said before Allomon let out a roar.

"We better take care of this, now!" Twilight declared before Flash nodded and held up his Digivice.

"Reload, Veemon!" He called out as his digifice lit up and his Digimon partner appeared before him. His partner is a bipedal dragon Digimon with blue skin and red eyes. It has white coloration in its belly and snout, a small horn on its nose, two ear-like appendages on its head, a yellow "V"-shaped mark on its forehead, and two yellow upside-down triangle marks under its eyes. It has five fingers on its hands and three toes on each foot, and a claw on each finger and toe.

"I'm out and ready to throw down!" Veemon declared with a confident tone as Twilight looked over at Tech.

"You go find some place safe while we take care of this." She told him right before she pulled out a Digivolution Digi-Disc. She tossed the disc into the air with a determined tone before catching it while she held up her Digivice. "Digi-Disc, insert…!" She declared as she inserted the disc into a Digivice and it lit up. "Access Digivolution!"

"Accessing Digivolution…" Her Digivice beeped as power surged through Tentomon and began to Digivolve.

Kabuterimon!

"Me and Veemon are right behind you!" Flash called out as he pulled out a Digi-Disc that looked similar to a digivolution one, except with a fire pattern around the edges. He spun the disc on the tip of his finger before catching it in his hand. "Digi-Disc, insert…!" Once he put the disc into his Digivice, the screen lit up as the Crest of Courage appeared on it. "Access Armor-Digivolution!"

"Accessing Armor-Digivolution…" His Digivice beeped as a digivolution portal opened up in front of Veemon, only it had the Crest of Courage on it. Veemon jumped right through it as the process of him digivolving began while flames swirled around him. His body became a bit taller while armor started to form on his body.

Flamedramon, the Fires of Courage!

Tech was in awe when he saw their Digimon Digivolved before him before they both charged at Allomon. Allomon was the first to strike as he thrusted his claws right at Flamedramon but he quickly jumped out of the way as his whole body was engulfed in flames. "Fire rocket!" He called out his attack before launching himself right towards Allomon.

His attack landed but Allomon knocked him to the ground before Kabuterimon charged in and delivered a few punches. "This is one tough Digimon!" Flash exclaimed as Kabuterimon was grabbed and thrown towards another building before crashing on the ground.

"We need some back-up!" Twilight quickly held up her Digivice and pressed up and on it before it started letting out a ring. "Come on, Rainbow Dash, pick up!"

Soon the ringing stopped as a teenage girl's voice started to speak through the Digivice. "Twilight, I was just about to call you!"

"Rainbow, we found the Rogue Digimon!"

"Yeah, we did too!" Rainbow replied before Twilight heard a couple explosions through the call. "Right now me, Sparrowmon, Soarin, Mailbirdramon, and the others are fighting against a black Allomon downtown!"

"What? No, me, Kabuterimon, Flash, and Flamedramon are fighting one up town near Big Pal Burger, and the one we're facing is blue!" Twilight told her before she quickly realized something. "Looks like we have two Rogue Digimon on our hands! Be quick with the one you're fighting and come here quickly!"

"Two of them?" Tech whispered with a worried tone after overhearing them. His fears of the Digimon their fighting is Pusurimon grew more as the fight went on. "It can't be him…" The memories he spent with Pusurimon ran through his head. Even though it was just for one day it felt like they were best friends for a long time. "It…it just can't be…!" His thoughts were interrupted when he heard a familiar voice calling out to him.

"Tech, help!" He turned to see Pusurimon running around with a box on his head. "I'm stuck in a box!" Pusurimon shouted as he continued to run around before he crashed right into a lamp post.

Tech looked at the small Digimon with the box on its head with a confused expression before he shook his head and quickly went over to him. "Pusurimon!" He called out before he pulled the box off Pusurimon. "What happened to you?!"

"Well, I rode that Locomon to a station before I started running around looking for you." Pusurimon started explaining. "I got lost for a while before I ended up falling down some stairs and the next thing I knew, I was running around with a box on my head."

"You mean that big Digimon isn't you?!" Tech asked as he pointed at Allomon as he knocked Flamedramon back.

"No, who is that?" Pusurimon asked before he noticed Twilight and Flash. "And who are they? Friends of yours?"

"Those two, and their partner Digimon, are from the Digimon Academy." Tech told him just before he saw Kabuterimon sent flying at them. So he quickly picked up Pusurimon and quickly moved out of the way. "They're here to deal with that Rogue Digimon that's causing trouble!"

"But why?" Pusurimon asked before both Kabuterimon and Flamedramon were sent flying back as their human partners quickly went over to them.

"Are you both okay?" Twilight asked Kabuterimon with much concern.

"He…he has the strength of an ultimate Digimon…" Kabuterimon groaned as Allomon opened its mouth as it was getting ready to unleash an attack at all four of them. Pusurimon saw this as he had a determined look on his face while he struggled to get out of Tech's hold.

"What…what are you doing?!" He asked Pusurimon before he lost his grip and Pusurimon jumped down and ran towards the big Dino Digimon. "Pusurimon, wait!"

"Prickly Roll!" Pusurimon then had his fur covering its body to stand and harden, then curls itself into a ball and does a jump-tackle while spinning. His attack struck Allomon right into the side and caused Allomon to let out a roar as his attack suddenly went up in the sky. Allomon then swatted Pusurimon with its tail and sent him flying right towards a wall as you let out a painful grunt.

Allomon growled as he started to stop towards the injured Digimon. "Pusurimon!" Tech quickly ran in front of Allomon as he held his arms out as he was ready to protect Pusurimon. "Stay away from him, I won't let you hurt him!" He declared as Allomon started building up energy in his mouth for an attack.

"Tech, get out of there!" Flash called out as he helped up Flamedramon before Allomon released his attack right towards Tech. However, the attack did not land as a bright light suddenly blocked the attack and blinded everyone.

Tech covered his eyes like the others as he could barely see with the blinding light shining. He opens his eyes a bit to see a digivice floating a couple feet away from him, but this one seems to be blank as it was completely gray with a turned off screen. "Wh-What is that?" He wondered before he heard a female voice speaking to him.

"Human, do you really want to protect this Digimon?" He was surprised as the voice continued. "Think very carefully before you make your decision."

Tech looked at the Digivice for a moment before a determined look appeared on his face. "I don't need to think it over! He was trying to protect Twilight and Flash along with their partner Digimon. It's only fair that I protect him!"

"What is your name, human?"

"It's Tech Cyber." He answered with a confident tone.

"That's sort of an odd name, but it will do." The screen on the Digivice lit up as color soon formed on it. It became bright yellow with red lines around it. "Use the power of this Digivice wisely." The Digivice soon floated over to Tech as he looked at it for a moment before he looked back at Pusurimon, who struggled to stand up. He then took hold of the Digivice as the screen let out a bright light.

Soon a digital Circle appeared on the ground beneath him as it slowly began to rise up and scanned Tech. He then held up his left arm that held the Digivice before a wrist watch band appeared on it that is the same color scheme as is digivice. Soon a beam shot out from the watch and started to scan Pusurimon as well as healing up his wounds.

The light died down as a ring of fire surrounded a large area around both Tech and Pusurimon. "What was that, and how do I feel so much better?" Pusurimon asked as Tech was looking at the Digivice in his hand. "And that lady's voice was the same one that freed me, but who was it?"

"I…I really have one, a real Digivice." Tech said to himself before he looked at Pusurimon with wonder. "And… you're my Digimon partner…" Pusurimon wondered what he was talking about before Allomon let out a powerful roar which caused both Tech and Pusurimon to jump back a bit. Just when it looked like it was ready to attack them again, a familiar voice called out a signature attack.

"Nova Blast!" A large fireball was sent flying and hit Allomon, which caused him to stumble back and fall into the ground.

"Hey kid, catch!" Tech heard a familiar voice call out before he turned and quickly caught something that was thrown at him. He looked at his hand and saw that he caught a Digivolution Digi-disc before he saw Glitch standing next to Greymon, before he De-Digivolve back to Agumon. "You've seen how to use that disc many times when you've seen the tournament! So use it and let's see what your new partner is going to be when he digivolves!"

Tech and Pusurimon looked at each other with wonder in their eyes before they looked back and saw both Glitch and Agumon were gone. Tech had a determined look on his face before he smiled at his partner Digimon. "Let's do this, partner!" He exclaimed before he tossed the disc into the air like a coin just as Allomon was getting up before he caught it. "Digi-Disc, insert…!" He quickly inserted the disc into his Digivice as power started to build up into it. "Access Digivolution!"

"Accessing Digivolution…" His Digivice beeped before it started transferring power to Pusurimon before a digital portal opened up in front of him. He hopped around for a bit excitedly before he jumped right through and began to digivolve from his In-Training level to his Rookie level.

Herissmon!

Tech had an amazed look on his face while Twilight and Flash had a surprise look on theirs. Allomon let out a powerful roar just as Herissmon charged right at him. He jumped up Allomon when he thrusted his claws right at him before Herissmon started running up his arm and leapt right into the air. He then curled up into a ball and started spinning just as the quills on his back started to light up. "Lightning Quills!" Herissmon then shut out a bunch of his quills right at Allomon, which looked like small lightning bolts as each hit landed as Allomon stumbled back as he shook his head in pain.

"Looks like we just got our backup." Flash mentioned before he and Twilight looked at their Digimon partners. "Now let's back him up!" They both nodded before they both pulled out a digidisc and inserted into their digivices.

"Digi-Disc, insert! Access power boost!" They both shouted as both Kabuterimon and Flamedramon felt their power Rising as they both stood up and charged into the fray.

"Electro Shocker!" Kabuterimon released a big ball of electricity towards Allomon as Flamedramon had his right fist lit up with flames.

"Fire rocket!" Flamedramon shot his attack right towards Allomon as both attacks landed and this caused Allomon to fall back as a big explosion covered him. The moment he was down, both Kabuterimon and Flamedramon reverted back to their Rookie levels just as Herissmon started to run to Tech with a bright smile on his face.

"Did you see that?!" Herissmon exclaimed excitedly as Tech smiled and went over to him and they both shared a hug.

"Pusurimon-- I mean Herissmon, whoever you are, you did it!" Tech exclaimed as the two of them shared a laugh of excitement.

"Looks like they're enjoying their first victory as partners." Twilight mentioned with a small smile.

"Yeah, but what kind of Digimon is he partnered up with?" Tentomon asked with his upper arms crossed and his head tilted.

"Wait, you never heard of Herissmon before?" Flash asked Tentomon with a surprised tone.

"Never even seen one before until now." Veemon mentioned with a shrug. Before either Twilight or Flash could ask what they meant by that, Allomon suddenly rose up from the flames with a furious roar. "Whoa, looks like we celebrated too soon!" The four quickly went over to Tech and Herissmon as they stood it ready to fight back.

"Moon Knight Kick!" A female voice declared before a figure was seen jumping up and delivering a powerful kick right at Allomon's head. That final blow caused Allomon's body to become digital dust as he was being dissolved and only a glowing egg-shaped core was glowing in his spot. Soon that core flew up into the sky before the three teens and their Digimon partners saw a figure walking towards them.

The figure turned out to be a woman with dark blue skin with night time colored hair as she was wearing a midnight blue suit jacket with dark purple pants that has a crescent moon near the end of them. She seemed to have a Digimon partner that is a pink, purple and yellow humanoid rabbit Digimon, about six feet tall, with purple clothing that had several ribbons around it that acted like flexible blades. It also had leather gloves and straps around its feet, along with a metal mask on its head and the moon medal around its neck.

"Is that…" Tech trailed off before his watch suddenly beeped and a holographic image of the Digimon next to the woman suddenly appeared with the name of it.

Lekismon

"The Lekismon?" He then had a surprise look on his face before he looked at the woman with excitement. "That means you're--"

"Vice-president Luna…" Both Flash and Twilight said nervously while both Veemon and Tentomon hid behind them as Luna crossed her arms and raised a brow at them.

"You know that the Rogue Digimon is defeated when you see their Digi-core is sent out." She told the two before she looked at Tech. "And who are you?"

"I'm a big fan!" Tech quickly answered with a bright smile.

Soon Tech had a very nervous look on his face as he and Herissmon were put in an interrogation room. His Digivice and watch was placed on the table next to a plate of donuts. "Hey Tech, are you feeling okay?" Herissmon asked him with a curious look.

"We're gonna be interrogated right now because we weren't part of this little mission in the first place." Tech mentioned as Herissmon began to eat the donuts. "I have never been interrogated before! What am I gonna tell them?!" Soon the door to the interrogation room opened up as both Luna and her partner Digimon, Lekismon, entered the room.

"Hello, Tech Cyber." Luna greeted as she sat down at the table with her partner sitting next to her. "Sorry if this seems a bit intense, but there is information that we must know."

"Like for starters: which one of you ate all the donuts?" Lekismon asked as she held up the empty plate where the donuts used to be.

"Sorry, I was hungry." Herissmon explained before waving to them. "I'm Herissmon, nice to meet you."

"Well, it's nice to meet you, Herissmon." A soft voice greeted them as they saw another woman into the room. This woman had pinkish white skin and had rainbow hair in the shade of green, pink, and blue. She wore a yellow suit jacket with a sun pin on the collar while she wore bright pink pants. Walking next to her is her partner Digimon that looks like a large reddish orange lion Digimon, covered in black armor with a yellow mane and wings on his back. Its tail was alight and parts of the armor were also giving off flames, though those quickly extinguished as he stepped into the room. "My name is Celestia, and this is my partner Digimon, Firamon."

"Greetings, young ones." Firamon said before he went over to Herissmon and looked him over. "I must say, I have never seen a Digimon quite like you before."

"Same, and I'm even more curious as to where you got this Digivice and the Digi-band." Lekismon mentioned as she looked at the two.

"Tech got it from the voice lady that freed me in a flash of light." Herissmon told them.

"I know that sounds really far-fetched, but it's actually true." Tech mentioned with a nervous look.

"What do you mean by, a voice lady freed you?" Luna asked Herissmon, who just shrugged in response.

"I really wish I could tell you, but I don't even know where I was freed from." Herissmon replied.

"Well however you got it, it's very rare for anyone to be partnered up with a Digimon and receive a Digivice the way you did." Celestia mentioned with an impressed tone. "As you know, I'm the principal of Digimon Academy while my sister, Luna here, is the vice principal. And as you know that the academy is a very special place where you can learn to become stronger with your Digimon partner."

"Yeah I know because most of my friends are there right now." Tech replied as he looked down at his Digivice. "And ever since then, I've always wanted to go there and everything."

"Well it's funny that you say that because me and my sister have been talking outside of the room about you." Celestia told him before she smiled at Luna and nodded.

"I told her about your actions when you protected Herissmon when he was Pusurimon, and even I'll admit, that was very brave of you to do so." Luna told Tech. "Foolish, yet very brave. At the Digimon Academy, we teach our students to not only protect humans, but Digimon as well from Rogue Digimon that seek to wreak havoc."

"Where is this going?" Tech asked as Celestia picked up his Digivice and Digi-band before offering them to him.

"Tech Cyber, you and Herissmon have just been enrolled in the Digimon Academy." She told him with a bright smile. "That is, if you would like to join us." Tech looked at them with a very surprised look before he looked at Herissmon. Herissmon smiled at him with a nod before a smile grew on Tech's face as he looked back at the sisters.

"Yes, yes I would love to go there!" Tech declared before he quickly grabbed both of them as the start of a big adventure had just begun for both him and his Digimon partner.

Chibi Herissmon appeared in front of the screen with a bashful look. "Sometimes I get a little dizzy when I do that attack, but it sometimes really fun to do." He mentioned with a slight chuckle.

And that little watch that they are wearing is a navigation band called The Seven Code Band from the Digimon Universe: Appmon series. I thought it was nice to have something they could have that is the same color pattern as their digivices.
