She gestured at Twilight's skimpy ensemble. "Not to mention everything else, I thought I might faint. And gods, you're all so young as well. But," she sighed. "Ah. I'm still your mother, and I love you. It's not as if you haven't told me about some of this magical nonsense before either. I trusted you then, and I trust you now. I understand none of this was a fully conscious decision any of you made. Life happens, and that's just that.
Velvet smiled. Beneath her soft, kind eyes, the wrinkles of age showed on her pale skin. Reaching forward, she took Twilight's much larger hand into her own and squeezed.
"You're my daughter - my only daughter - and my job as your mother is to support you. When I was younger, barely older than you are now in fact, Nighty and I hadn't intended on me becoming pregnant. But it happened, and we decided to roll with the punches. In the end? I'm glad it happened, even if I never intended it to. Raising you and your brother has been stressful, certainly, but it's also been the most rewarding thing I and your father have done in our lives. I hope and wish you and all your... friends," she said the word as though not entirely sure it was the right one. "Derive as much joy from raising your children as I have you two."
Twilight, a bit teary-eyed, smiled. "I love you, mom."
A collective 'Awwww' rose from the crowd. Twilight's cheeks flushed.
"I love you too, starshine. I'll get out of your hair now."
Silently, she returned to sewing, and the conversation resumed.
"I'm not gonna lie," Sunset muttered. "I'm definitely pretty worried how all of your families are going to take this. It's great that Twilight's parents are so supportive - thank you by the way, Misses Velvet - but..."
AJ shrugged. "If it makes ya feel any better, Sunset, ah don't think any 'a mine's gonna mind. Extra strength on the farm's always welcome." To punctuate her meaning, she flexed her biceps. Sunset caught Velvet's gaze wandering there for the barest hint of a moment, before snappping back to her needlework.
Can't blame you, Misses Velvet. Can't blame you.
"Heh. It does a little bit. Thanks."
Fluttershy, sitting beside Sunset, placed a hand on her arm. "I know you're worried. It's completely reasonable, and I am too, but whatever happens we'll get through this together."
"Yeah!" Pinkie cheered. "My parents are probably gonna have a heart attack, but they'll get over it! I've given them plenty enough to kill them already and they've survived so far!"
"At the end of the day," added Rarity. "There's no point in worrying ourselves over maybes and maybe nots. It does us no good. We will handle things as they come, and I for one believe that everything will work out in the end."
Everyone nodded to that. Sunset did after a moment of delay, with some begrudging reluctance.
"Another thing though, something more immediate."
Sunset pointed a finger at the group's general direction, leveling it at their bellies and the dual-sided suns imprinted there. All her mares blushed.
"If we're going to have foal- Or, kids. If we're going to have kids, we're going to need housing, among a bunch of other stuff. I can probably convert some Equestrian bits to dollars on the DL, but that's pretty risky legally speaking - trust me I know - so we'll also need a legitimate source of income."
"Ah think ah got the solution t'at least one 'a those things. We're big. We're strong. We got magic. And Sweet Apple Acres is already owned bah mah family. Long as Granny agrees, it'll be right easy fer us to build our own house."
"Oooh, yes!" Twilight giggled, clapping. "I can finally put my mathematics and understanding of architectural integrity to good use! You guys have no idea how much I've wanted to design a building."
Sunset hmmed. "I guess."
"What do you mean guess, darling? I think it's a wonderful idea. We'll all pitch in. It's not as if we haven't done something similar before. Remember building the dock at Camp Everfree?"
"Okay, yes, but like, that was a dock," Dash said. "Building an entire ass- Um, sorry Twilight's mom."
"Not a problem, dearie. The images put in my head today are far worse than any cuss word you can imagine."
"Heh heh. Right... Point being, a dock isn't that big a deal. But a whole house? I mean, if that's something we gotta live in it's gotta be fu- I mean frrrreaking huge."
"Then we scale it up," Twilight soothed. "Need I remind you I can levitate things? The construction won't be a problem."
Sunset frowned, uneasy. "Just making sure it doesn't fall apart. We're not actual architects, Twilight. No matter how much you know on the subject, you need a license to do that sort of thing."
"Ah'm sure ah can get a contractor. Plenty 'a those in the Apple family. How else d'ya think we do the barn raisin'?"
Sunset and Rainbow shared a glance. Both knew they still held reservations, but neither could think of an immediate counterargument.
"There's still the matter of employment, however," Rarity said.
"Not to mention our alter egos!" Pinkie chirped.
Sunset raised a brow. "Pinkie, I don't think we really had alter egos at all."
Twilight concurred. "Honestly, I'm pretty sure the city just tolerates us at this point. It's not like the police can deal with magic on their own. As for how the government hasn't gotten involved yet... That I don't know. Hopefully it doesn't end up being an issue in the future given our... current forms. As for employment-"
Night Light's entrance interrupted her train of speech. Grinning, a dark-toned hand swept back his midnight blue hair, in his arms carrying a mile-high stack of pizza boxes.
"Dinner's here, everyone! Hope you're all hungry."
The collective rumble of stomachs sounded less like seven hungry teens, and more like a five oh earthquake.
Velvet giggled. "Now remember, all of you are eating for two now."
"Mooooom!"
"Uhm." Fluttershy looked away, hiding half her face behind her mane. "What if we're carrying... more... than one."
A chill ran down Sunset's spine.
"I-I'll, uhhhh. Need to ask Princess Twilight... about... that one."
"Here, I'm sure you can all serve yourselves, right?" Night Light set the boxes down on the table, spreading them out one by one. "Got soda in the kitchen by the way. Oh! And wings, and boneless wings, and brownies, and-"
"Honey. I think they get the idea."
"Yes, yes, of course. Just trying to take care of my future grandkids!"
Rainbow opened a box and instantly recoiled. "Ewww. Pineapple? Which one of you freaks likes pineapple on their pizza?"
"Me," said Twilight. "And I'll have you know pineapple on pizza is delicious. It's not like you have to eat it anyway."
Sunset had already grabbed a slice and began chewing. With her size and hunger, it was gone in an instant.
"I'd like to make it known to the jury that I also think pineapple on pizza is delicious."
"Oh my god. I can't believe I let you knock me up."
"Rainbow!" Twilight exclaimed. Then, through clenched teeth, "We are eating with my parents."
"What? Obviously we're preggers. Do you want me to lie about how Sunset totally used her-"
Twilight clapped a hand over Rainbow's mouth.
Rainbow kept talking.
The moment brought a smile to Sunset's lips. A memory dredged itself from the depths of her mind, one that Princess Twilight had informed her of in private earlier in the week. Looking around at her mares, she couldn't deny her feelings. She couldn't deny she wanted to spend the rest of her life with them - all of them.
Well, Sunset. No better time than the present.
"Hold on, guys. I have... something important to ask you."
Six sets of eyes shifted on her. In them, Sunset saw people she cared for - people she could love.
Pinkie's bright baby blues, always bubbly and positive, striving to keep everyone happy.
Fluttershy's gentle teals, her kindness and the compassion she showed for every creature big and small.
Rainbow's pools of magenta, daring and bold, loyal to the bitter end. Maybe a bit obnoxious and dense, but meaning the best.
Rarity's sapphire jewels, generous to a fault, capable of seeing the best and beauty in everyone she met.
Applejack's emeralds, her honesty and hard working ethic, the faith and trust she showed, never backing down from an opportunity to lend a hand.
And finally Twilight, her sparkling amethysts, sharp as a tack, shy but also sassy, curious and eager to learn and make friends and show how much she cared.
"Princess Twilight told me about this... ritual that's done, when a... ahem, a stud wants to officially make a mare part of their herd. So, without getting into too much detail."
Fluttershy was the closest. Sunset dropped to one knee, looked into her eyes and held one of her hands in both of her own.
"Fluttershy, will you be my herdwife?"
Without a second of hesitation, Fluttershy answered.
"Yes."
Sunset grinned, kissing her knuckles.
One by one, she asked each of her friends. Each one said yes without pausing to think for a moment. For Twilight, the last remaining unclaimed, said yes before Sunset could ask. She kissed Sunset herself.
Velvet and Night broke into applause.
"I presume," asked Velvet. "This is similar to marriage, judging by the title of wife?"
"Pretty much yeah, just without papers and documents or a proper wedding."
"Hmm, thought Night Light. "I think that's a real shame, personally. You lovely ladies would make for quite the brides I think."
"Oh, Sunnyyyy, Sunny Sunny Sunny Sunny Sunny!"
Sunset, brows furrowed, looked at Rarity. "Yeah, Rares?"
"Can we? Can we please have a wedding? Oh my heavens, I would oh so love to make the dresses for us, each one made special! I have always wanted to do something like this."
Sunset cracked a grin, leaned over, and kissed her cheek.
"Sure, babe," she said.
"Let's get married."

...late May, jesus christ - this was initially intended to be the epilogue. Partway through uploading the finalized chapters, however, the commissioner approached me with the proposition of adding more to this story.
I said yes, of course, so don't hop off the train quite yet. There's more steamy horse smut cummin' your way, and I've got a few interesting ideas in store beyond.
I am however taking a slight departure away from the initial comedic tone I've established, but not fully. The whole basis for this little saga is inherently pretty funny - and so is sex in general, let's be honest - but there will be a bit more balance of serious to silly in the following installments. I never intended on any of this spinning out into an actual potential narrative, but here we are. Thank my lack of self control for that.

Mindbending Magical Mare Mommies Marinate on a Most Mundane Mid-Autumn Mass - AKA, these titles are getting way too esoteric.
Sunset sighed, a great and heavy exhaustion leaving her bosom. Said bosom, in response, trembled tremendously.
"And lastly, could you guys please take all this-" She gestured at the shrine. "Down?"
"Of course! Anything for you, our most glorious Sun Queen!"
The cultist, a young woman by the name of Sassy Saddles, bowed. No sooner did the request come from Sunset's lips did Sassy's curvaceous, skintight white-robed figure spin on her heel and begin shouting.
"You heard the Sun Queen for yourselves! This shrine displeases Her Radiance. Tear it down out of sight, this instant!"
Sunset knew, if she wanted, a few simple words laid between those robes and the woman's smooth olive skin. She was mesmerized by the way her hips swung, her ass bounced. Celestia would she love to see it bounce and swing in her lap. She couldn't do that though, couldn't ask. She'd be taking advantage, and that was something she vowed to stop doing some time ago.
She sighed again, pinching her nose with thumb and forefinger. Heavens above, what did it take for these numbskulls to understand? She wasn't a Sun-damned Goddess, alright? Neither her, nor her wives.
Granted, she did kinda look like one. What with the whole fiery wings of a phoenix, cascading hair of flames, and her - humanly - unexplainable magic powers. Her towering height of some ten feet and change with absurd curves and muscles to spare probably didn't help either.
Whatever! Whatever. She just wanted back home, to spend time with her mares and fillies.
"Right. I'm gonna leave you guys now. If you can, please consider to like, stop worshipping us? maybe? I dunno..."
She didn't bother wasting another breath. These fools were lost.
In one swift motion, her wings flapped and feet left the ground. Bare seconds passed before the city below rapidly shrank, a cry of "We love you, Sun Queen!" fading in the distance.
Shrugging the stress from her shoulders, Sunset let the cool November winds take her. On the horizon the sun was setting, ironically enough, surrounding her with hues of vivid orange and pretty pinks. Had the confrontation really taken that long?
It was frustrating, wasting her time on this. There'd be another shrine or ten popping up in the city and countryside by next week, if not tomorrow. All her efforts would be in vain, and it seemed the Cult of Seven grew every day.
At least by the time she got home, she'd get to see her family.
Gliding in the sea of eventide, she kept her eyes forward and down. The streets passed below, some bustling with dozens and others empty.
Shops, cars, people, trees. Up here, they all looked so small. Together they came and built the lifeblood and body of this still strange, living breathing world she now called home. Idly, she wondered if being an alicorn meant immortality, and what that meant for her on this planet.
She swiftly turned her thoughts away. To imagine, even for a second, that she'd outlive her wives. Her children?
Off ahead, she spotted their home. It laid on the far outskirts of the city, well beyond the suburbs' perimeter.
The Apple Family Orchard had been the perfect place to settle down. The property offered vast acres of rolling emerald fields, and a veritable forest of fruit-bearing trees. For her and her wives it provided the space necessary to move around and live life comfortably. For her daughters, it meant a yawning kingdom of childhood potential, free of the otherworldly dangers Equestria harbored.
For the most part.
Sunset had encountered more than one hungry Timberwolf or skittering Dreadspider in old Camp Everfree, much to her disturbance. Independently, Twilight confirmed reports and readings of increased magical presence across the whole globe. World governments kept things hush hush for the time being, but that could only go on for so long. Princess knew what might happen if - or really when - the masquerade broke.
As she approached, she brushed these worries aside. Those matters would be dealt with when the time came. Right now, her life and loved ones took precedence.
Her feet touched earth, heeled leather boots silent on the hearty grass. She found it almost silly to wear the clothes she did, the exact sort she wore as a teenager. Just... a few sizes larger these days. Tartarus, they all still dressed normally - much thanks to Rarity, not to mention the magic Sunset and Twilight had learned together.
Sunset wouldn't admit it, but she did get a thrill from the idea of dressing like how the cultists perceived her. Like a Goddess. A harbringer of a new age, blessed by divinity and fertility in equal balance. She could with the same ease as breathing close her eyes, and picture her and her wives dressed in form-fitting dresses woven from the finest silks, draped along their bodies and coiled against skin like a kiss.
That's how they did things in Equestria. Who said they couldn't do that here?
She shook her head. The image disappeared, like the way sunlight's scattered reflection broke on a pond from stones.
She sighed in relief.
Before the image recoalesced.
She saw the woman from earlier, but... different. She looked almost the same, save for further exaggerated features.
And distinctly equine characteristics.
Sat on her wide, splayed haunches, a sky blue horn jut from her forehead. Pony ears the same color sat atop her skull in place of the old, and a tail that matched her hair swished side to side on her wide rump. Cutie marks adorned her lower cheeks, in the style of what looked like knitting needles. Sunset had a feeling if the woman turned and presented herself, she'd see a snug dark blue marecunny and matching donut winking just for her.
Sunset sat on a royal throne made of gold, somehow warm to the touch. A dress like a toga clung to her bronze form and a crown adorned her head. Otherwise, she was completely naked.
She beckoned the woman - the mare - forth. Instantly she fell to her hands and knees and crawled, purring like a kitten as she nestled between Sunset's spread, muscular legs. Her eyes gazed up at her Goddess, pleading with that perfect heart-shaped pair of lip-pillows Sunset could slip right inside and lose her inhibitions to.
She nodded, and the mare cooed. Her hands were small, fingers dainty, and nails sharp, reminding Sunset so much of Rarity. They crept along Sunset's thigh before stopping at the long loincloth that covered her crotch. The mare pulled it aside, eyes growing huge and huger as Sunset's long, thick, hard, pulsing-
She slammed her head into a nearby tree. The bark splintered, stinging her skin. It left her unharmed otherwise, only a dull pain in its wake.
The tree was not so lucky.
A head-sized chunk in the bark exposed the raw wood beneath, and where Sunset's horn penetrated there was a deep dark hole. Several apples had shaken loose also, all but one clinging feebly to its branch. It teetered briefly, then fell a heartbeat later as though her gaze had disturbed the balance.
...shit.
She put her palm to her face and scraped away the debris. No blood or the barest hint of injury came with it.
Was she getting stronger? More... durable? She knew alicorn ascension had increased all her abilities substantially, but an impact like that should have left her dazed at the very least.
If nothing else, the strange, intrusive image had gone.
Remembering it, it felt so real. Like a lucid dream, but tangible. As though if she so desired, she could reach out and grasp the flesh, mold it like clay. She was a being of divine sex, and could bend civilization to her will with a mere, lustful desire.
Before her mind returned to that place again, she broke from the tree line. Today had left her with many things to think on. Before it could give her another, she wanted to see her wives and daughters.
"Mommy!"
And there was one right now. Sunset's lips split into the broadest grin, and she stretched her arms wide as a young girl with reddish-brown and violet hair ran for her.
"Hey kiddo," she laughed, as the girl barrelled forward. Sunset hoisted her up in one swift motion, barely more effort than lifting a feather.
She looked down into her twinkling fuschia eyes, saw the light orange horn poking out from her dusky skin. She was one of the three Twilight and Sunset produced - named Amber Pop. Naturally, the little gremlin loved herself some good old fashioned orange soda.
"How'd you find me, ya little fizzhead?" Sunset noogied her - gently - before setting her feet on the grass.
"Everyone else was playing or watching TV, and moms were busy. I didn't feel like playing, so I went to the back porch and saw you flying!"
Sunset snickered, then beckoned her to follow. "Well let's get you back inside, huh? I've got a new recipe I wanna try out for dinner tonight. I think you're gonna like it."
Amber looked up at her with big, round eyes, hands behind her back. "Is it spicy?"
Sunset winked. "You know it."
Amber cheered, and they continued on their way.
Sunset found it strange looking down at her kids, even more than normal humans. They were so much smaller to her, and she imagined how they must look at her and their mothers like giants, if not titans.
Funny to think on. Sunset felt very much the same in her younger years, under the tutelage of Princess Celestia. Though her children did not view her as a god, thank heavens.
Yet, she had to wonder if they would grow up to be like her. When they were born, they already had their pony features. More recently, a few had even earned their cutie marks. Sunset felt it was just a matter of time before they started blasting magic, flying around, and throwing hay bales all over the damn place like action toys, too.
She did not look forward to that.
Or puberty, for that matter.
Sunset shuddered.
"You okay, mommy?"
She smiled. "'Course. Just a little cold, that's all."
She knew right away AMber didn't buy that for a second, and fair enough, honestly. Kinda hard convincing someone you 'felt cold' when you had literal wings of fire sprouting from your back. Filly didn't push it though, sweet girl.
Soon they crested a small hill, and even before then saw their home. Given flat terrain with no obstruction, anyone with half-working eyes could have seen it from a mile away. It was practically a mansion.
For any standard nuclear family, it would be more than enough room to drown in.
Naturally, Sunset's was about the furthest thing from a 'standard nuclear family' you could get.
Theirs comprised of seven mothers the height of lammposts, and shared amongst them nine daughters. Daughters which, Sunset suspected, would grow into their own superhuman proportions. What might for anyone else be unreasonably large proved for them a well-suited living space.
That went doubly so, when these would not be the only kids they had.
As they started down, Amber reached up and tugged her wrist. Sunset, glancing, recognized the expression at once. Without skipping a beat she swooped her up, launched off the ground, and soared fast for home. Amber whooped and laughed the whole way.
Swiftly approaching, the details of the house became clear. It had taken many days of debate for how they wanted it to look. Rarity wanted modern, Twilight Victorian - which Rarity was also partial to - Applejack rustic, and Fluttershy something more along the lines of cottagecore. Pinkie and Rainbow didn't much care either way so long as it had a big kitchen and home gym respectively.
In the end, they settled on a quasi 'Spanish villa' look. It combined the best of all worlds from what everyone wanted, and building it primarily from stone had its many advantages. Barely any maintenance needed, temperature regulation during the hot and colder months, cheaper building material...
...and perhaps the most crucial - excellent soundproofing.
Y'know. 'Cause they fucked.
Like. A lot.
As in, 'a staggering and unhealthy' amount of sex. For anyone that wasn't basically a sex goddess, anyway.
However, they'd never quite managed to recapture the three-week streak which started it all. That wasn't for lack of trying. Life simply got in the way. Between the kids, work, and college - that they only recently graduated from - time was not on their side.
Sunset's boots landed on the wide, mosaic tile patio, and set Amber free. With a launch she tumbled from Sunset's arms, threw the red-painted doors wide open, and ran inside.
"Honeys, I'm hoooome!"
She received greetings from Rarity, Pinkie, and Fluttershy, whose swollen belly she held her gaze on for a second longer. Apparently Rainbow and AJ were up to their usual competitive nonsense in the gym room, and Twilight was doing research in the lab. Whether that research involved personal matters or was for her job, they couldn't say.
Sunset dispensed hugs and kisses amongst them all - lips for the wifeys, noses, cheeks, and foreheads for her daughters - at least to those who wanted them. Pumpkin Spice and Chili Pepper were too busy tormenting their sister Prism Perfect in Awesome Attack Dudes.
She smirked down at them, hands on hips and shaking her head. "Play nice, you two, or I'll join in and show you how a real master does it."
Pumpkin blew a raspberry. Pepper perked up.
"You game?" she said.
"You kidding?" Rainbow Dash walked into the room, wearing gym clothes and a towel around her neck, dripping with sweat. "Believe it or not, but you little brats aren't the only ones in this house with gamer cred."
"Eeyup. Need ah remind ya'll we ain't even turned twenty-five yet?"
Pumpkin blew another raspberry. For supposedly being Pinkie's daughter, she felt to Sunset a lot more like Rainbow's. "And we're seven, so you're basically ancient."
Sunset cracked her knuckles, grin widening. "Ohoho, you got it comin' now, punk. After dinner? You and me, Awesome Attack Dudes. I'm gonna kick your butt."
Pumpkin rolled her eyes. "Not likely," she said, and returned her attention to the screen.
Sunset exchanged a glance with Rainbow, AJ, and shrugged.
"She'll learn," AJ assured, patting her on the back.
"Pffduh. Sunset's almost as good as I am at fighting games, and I'm the best!"
"You're only half that good because of this." Sunset flicked the geode in Rainbow's chest before heading to the kitchen.
"Hey! Not true!"
"Oh really now? If'n ah recall correctly and ah reckon ah do, yer hands blur whenever yer gamin' with us. Or are ya gonna argue that that's totally normal?"
Sunset chuckled, sweeping back her hair as she entered the kitchen. Rarity stayed in the living room drawing up designs, while Fluttershy and Pinkie followed inside.
"Makin' dinner, Sunnybuns?"
Sunset squirt soap onto her hands, turning on the faucet. "Yup. Ever heard of Dynamite Roll Rice before?"
"Nope!"
"Isn't that like, uhm, sushi or something?"
"Mhm." Sunset pulled up her phone, swiping to the recipe before leaving it to float mid-air. "Dynamite Rolls are a kind of sushi roll. Dynamite Roll rice on the other hand is that, but like a deconstructed rice dish."
Mmm, sounds yummy!"
"it does, but what about the girls? Some of them haven't tried sushi yet. What if they don't like it?"
Opening the fridge and cabinet doors with her magic, Sunset perused and pulled out the requisite ingredients. Everything out in the open, she set up the materials, placing a chef's knife and cutting bord on the granite island.
"That's why," she said, and took off the first slice of tuna. "I'm baking the fish with everything else. It won't be raw."
Fluttershy nodded. "Would you like some help?"
"Always." She smiled warmly, pointing towards the phone. "Recipe's there. I'll tell you what to do."
Pinkie cheered, Fluttershy hummed, and the three set to work.
When Sunset cooked meals by herself, prep time alone could take up to an hour, and that was with magical assistance. With helping hands, she could cut that by over half.
And so less than two hours later, dinner was served, food plated up, and everyone at the dinner table. Blackberry and Lapis didn't like it much, so Rarity told them they could eat yesterday's leftovers instead.
They chose the rice.
Nothing like the threat of leftovers to whip picky eaters in line.
While Rarity and Twilight stayed behind to handle dishes, the rest opted to watch Sunset make good on her earlier threat. By the tenth win in a row, Pepper and Pumpkin begged her to quit and insisted they'd be nicer to Prism. With a job well done and everything taken care of for the night, she brought the girls up to bed with their mothers, tucked everyone in, and kissed them goodnight.
After another long day, Sunset crashed into bed with a roaring yawn. The massive beast of a mattress hardly noticed, and she sprawled atop its abundant, plushy surface. Everyone was slipping into their nightwear, while Sunset had bothered stripping herself and no more. Her wives wouldn't mind.
Twilight crawled into bed first, wearing a see-through lavender nightie that clung to her dark form. She laid on her side parallel Sunset, running her fingers along the steely bumps of Sunset's abs.
"Hey you," she said, and Sunset giggled.
"Hey."
"Sorry I was late to seeing you home. I've been busy keeping up with global developments."
Sunset gave a sympathetic nod. "What's the sitch? CIA comin' after us yet?"
Twilight shook her head. Sunset loved watching her ponytail wave with her.
"No, but someone posted a video of a manticore breaking from the zoo. Social media tried to scrub it, but it got out and spread too fast."
Fluttershy placed a hand oveer her mouth. "Oh no. No one was hurt were they?"
"A few people got stung. Luckily standard scorpion anti-venom seems to work - for now. We still don't know how the manticore came from the zoo either - if one of the lions was transformed or if it manifested in."
