It was a lovely night in Canterlot. We see many ponies enjoying a party. And the reason why is because of the wedding of Cadence and Shining Armor. You see it was something that really brought the two together. Or at least it was til the evil Chrysalis attacked seeking to take over Equestria. But in the end she was defeated by the hands of Twilight Sparkle and her friends. Now everyone was enjoying the party. Or almost everyone. Sitting on a bench was an 18 year old dragon named Spike. He was very lonely and wished he had someone to be with. Not that he was anti-social. It's just that ever since he tried winning Rarity's heart he didn't get a lover. He heard a slow song but didn't want to try dancing. Then he saw an 18 year old girl pegasus coming and sitting next to him. She had orange skin and purple hair and wearing a lovely dress.

"Hi there." She said.

"Hey. Im Spike. Nice to meet you." Spike said.

"Im Scootaloo." She said.

"I remember you. We were little kids back then." Spike said.

"Yeah I remember. So what are you doing?" Scootaloo said.

"Well im just feeling a bit lonely right now. So I don't feel like dancing right now." Spike said.

"Spike? Can you tell me what's wrong?" Scootaloo said.

Spike sighed as he decided to tell her what's wrong. "If you must know I really wished I had someone to be with. Because Rarity never sees my love for her."

"To be fair with you Spike. I don't think Rarity's ever gonna find a stallion bedazzling enough for her." Scootaloo said.

Spike looked on the ground sadly and Scootaloo placed a hand on his shoulder trying to calm him down.

"Hey Spike? Would you feel better if I.... danced with you?" Scootaloo said.

"You do that? For me?" Spike said.

"Yes. You don't deserve to be alone. Now come dance with me." Scootaloo said as she took Spike to the dance floor.

The song started playing as the two started waltzing. They slowly danced with Spike holding Scootaloo by the waist and he danced nicely with her. As they were doing this they never stopped looking in each other's eyes. Then by mistake someone accidentally bumped into them and they locked lips. They separated while blushing and Spike was embarrassed by this.

"Im so sorry Scootaloo! I didn't see that person and I didn't mean for that!" Spike said.

But Scootaloo smiled reminding him that nothing's wrong. "Actually that was pretty nice."

"It was?" Spike said.

"Yes. In fact Spike? You wanna spend some time with me after the party?" Scootaloo said.

"Sure Scootaloo. We gotta catch up on old times." Spike said.

When the party was over we see Scootaloo and Spike walking out of the castle. But instead of going home they decided to head to Lookout Mountain. When they reached the top they were sitting on a bench watching the view of the night sky. Then they saw a shooting star.

"Ooh Spike. A shooting star. Make a wish." Scootaloo said.

The both closed their eyes and wished on the star. Spike wished that he had someone to be with for the rest of his life that truly loves him. Scootaloo wished for the same thing. Then the two opened their eyes and looked at each other.

"So Spike. What did you wish for?" Scootaloo said.

"I wished that I would have a lover to protect your the rest of my life." Spike said.

"You know what Spike? I wished for that too. And you know what?" Scootaloo said.

"What Scootaloo?" Spike said.

She held his hand and smiled. "That wish came true. You have a lover now. Me."

"Scootaloo. You really mean that?" Spike said as he began crying happy tears.

"Yes. I actually held a crush on you when we were little. I wanted to tell you but I was too nervous." Scootaloo said.

"Well im so glad you did. Now we can show how much we love each other." Spike said.

Scootaloo and Spike cried tears of joy and sealed the love with a kiss. They now knew that a new couple was born and ready to spend their lives in complete bliss.
