A scream pierced the air as Colgate was kicked in the ribs before just turning back into short quick breaths of pain. Colgate was in some basement. Colgate's lifeless body still leaked blood, and little bursts would occasionally shoot from her neck as she experienced her final few heartbeats. But eventually that, too, stopped.
